My eyes flew open, revealing the same void I'd been waking up to for awhile now. The only difference was Shadow was seated on the floor, staring at nothing. This made me a little concerned, but I dismissed it. She must've just come to remind me that I agreed to meet up with the others.

Hey Shadow!! I cheerfully greeted her. I was still a little tired, but I always am in the morning. She said nothing, just continued staring into nothingness. This was very odd for her. She always woke me up by yelling at me or something, and even if she didn't, she never ignored me. U-u-um... Shadow? I called out to her. She didn't even blink. You ok? I slowly walked over to her. Sh-Shadow? I waved my hand in front of her face. Nothing. She didn't even flinch when I poked her nose. She's always hated that. I crouched in front of her and looked into her eyes. They were fully black, though I could've swore the moon should be halfway. I shrugged it off as a miscalculation. Maybe she's sleeping still? That was entirely possible. I decided to let her sleep and go back to Ultimate. I pounded the floor and everything turned back to a dust-like powder before floating down and collecting on the ground. I was pretty used to this scene, so I started quickly walking to the meeting point. Both Eclipse and Molly were already there. Both pairs of eyes snapped over to me as I crept closer. I assumed that Rarin was still asleep, so without saying anything I went to go look for him. After about 5 minutes of searching, I finally found him next to a log. I shook him awake.

"Cmon the others are waiting!" I said after he came to.

"Great." He sounded quite uninthusiastic. We made our way back to the other two quickly and quietly. When we got there, Molly was playing in the dirt, and Eclipse was over to the side.... wiping her face off? I coughed and both turned to me. Eclipse's face was a little red on one side, but I shrugged it off as the result of her wiping something off it.

"So..." I started. "What are we going to do tonight?" Molly looked around, then stood.

"I think we should practice, you know, our powers?" Rarin's eyes lit up, whilst Eclipse looked a little scared.

"Sounds great!" Rarin commented.

"I think I'll just watch?" Eclipse muttered.

"Nope!" Molly stated. "You need to practice too! Your getting rusty!" Eclipse scoffed.

"In your dreams! I'm still as fucking strong as ever!"

"I think Molly is right." I jumped in before anything broke out. "We should practice. In case we run into trouble, we need to be able to defend ourselves." Eclipse sighed.

"Yeah, I guess your right. But I'm heading to a different space to practice." She narrowed her eyes. "And I don't think anyone wants to follow." My eyes widened, but I quickly narrowed them back down.

"It's settled then. I'll see you here before bed!" Eclipse looked at me.

"Who the fuck died and made you queen?" She asked.

"I'm not a fucking queen, but seeing how powerless you've been, I'll gladly show you who'll die. You haven't even mentioned your "powers"". I made air quotes on the word powers. "I wouldn't be surprised if you were just wearing stupid contacts. To make it look like you have powers and escape reality." Eclipse balled her hands into fists and squeezed her eyes shut. "Oh and talking about reality, hows your friend? Oh wait, I forgot. She's fake. Just a bunch of fucking atoms made to look like a human in the eyes of a phyco." She growled before stomping off into the forest.

"Eclipse Wait!" Molly shouted, but it was already too late. She sighed, looking saddened. "I'll go find a river." She quietly trudged over to a clearing. I was already regretting my words before Rarin walked past me, purposely bumping my shoulder on the way. It may not seem like much, but on Ultimate, if you don't get shot because you have no power than your counted as a disgrace, a mistake, insane. Your nothing but scum on the bottom of someone's shoe. It's an insult to have someone tell you your powerless. And I just rubbed it in her face, not to mention calling her phycotic. I sat down, pulled my knees up to my chest, and put face in my hands.

"What have I done?" I quietly whispered before letting a tear fall. I'd probably just lost my only friends, and Shadow still wasn't responding. I looked up at the beautiful half full moon and sighed. When did I start turning to a monster?
