I wake to 'my void'. I guess it kinda was my void as it was inside my head. Groaning, I flip onto my side and look out. Great everything's normal. The void is black as ever, there are two beds still, one was empty, and Shadow was walking around- wait. Shadow was walking around? Wasn't she.....? Dead? Frozen? What?

Good morning sleepyhead. It's about time you wake up. I jumped, not realizing she had walked over to my bed whilst i was staring off. She laughed at my reaction.

It's not funny! I whined at her.

It is for me!

Well, I'm going to get back to Ultimate-

Your showering first. Shadow interrupted me.

Wh-what?

Yea, you stink. I blushed awkwardly.

Um..... ok? Shadow pointed behind her to a shower stall that had just appeared.

Go. I smiled and walked into it, closing the curtain behind me.

I walked out and got a new outfit on. It was the same thing i had on before, but it was clean. After i put it on, Shadow walked over and helped me zip up the back. The zipper disappeared from view soon after. I pounded the ground and returned to Ultimate. I started to walk to our meeting spot. It was quiet as USUAL on the way there. NOTHING WEIRD HAPPENED AT ALL. When I got there, I saw Ember and Molly were there. I smiled, Rarin must still be sleeping.

"I'll go get Rarin?" Molly nodded, and Ember.....smiled? She almost creepily looked at me, her eyes filled with something different. My eyebrows furrowed as she tilted her head a small bit. She then seemed to snap out of something, as her smile dropped and whatever was in her eyes was replaced with fear. Her head shot up, and she put her hand to her mouth. I heard some sort of whisper, almost too quiet to hear. It said 'Help me'. It almost sounded to be coming from everywhere at once. I shook it off as my imagination.

"U-um..... are you ok?" I asked her. She nodded. Molly smiled at me, but normally, before turning back to Ember. I shook my head slightly and backed off, giving them some privacy. I ran to get Rarin. When I got there, he was SLEEPING still. I shook him awake and we walked back to the others. They looked normal, like nothing had happened. Though if you looked into their eyes, you could tell something was wrong. I decided to ask them about it later. We needed to get walking anyway.

"Shadow cam back this morning, and she was acting like nothing ever happened so..." I paused for a moment, looking over my small team. "I say we start moving again. We've been waling for-"

"Ages." Ember interrupted.

"Months." Molly said, glaring at her playfully.

"Years." Rarin moaned, sinking down to his knees on the ground.

"Awhile." I finished my sentence, rolling my eyes at the other's reactions. "So we've got to be nearing some sort of town."

"We can ask for help!" Molly celebrated.

"We can get more supplies!" Rarin shouted.

"We can raid the town!" Ember said. We all turned to her. She laughed at our reactions. "Just kidding guys." We all sighed and laughed. She stood there awkwardly. I walked over to her whilst the other two were distracted.

"Hey, you ok?" She looked at me and sighed, one hand grabbing a strand of her brown hair and pulling repeatedly on it. "Um, I-" She looked down, still pulling on her hair. "I'll tell you later." She muttered, then looked at me and smiled. "Just don't worry about me, ok?" I nodded, still unsure.

"Ok then, whatever your comfortable with?" I saw her smile gratefully at me, still pulling on her hair. I reached over and grabbed her hand, forcing her to let go of her hair. "And please stop pulling on your hair." She frowned at me and shrugged, then pulled her hand away and flicked it.

"It's just a habit."

"Yea, well please stop." For a moment, I saw her irises flicker red, but they returned to red so quick it could've been my imagination. She took a deep breath, closing her eyes. She then opened them as she talked to me.

"I'll be the judge of my life thanks." She spoke calmly, but I could hear her breath shake a little bit. "Go back to the others, and don't freak out if I disappear for a bit..." She thought for a moment. "And don't freak out if you hear a scream or anything whilst i'm gone." Ember smiled a bit and I could've swore I saw the tips of fangs showing. "It won't be me." She shrugged a shoulder, making a face to go with it, then calmly walked away. I shook my head again and walked over to join the others. Molly talked first.

"Where's Ember?" She then dropped her voice to just above a whisper. "What did she want?" I shrugged.

"I'm not sure where she went. And she just wanted to talk. That's all." Molly nodded slowly.

"Ok, just.... be careful." I smiled a bit.

"I always am."
