Why, does society force me,
To put on a smile,
And lie through my teeth
To the person I despise so much?

Why must I be polite,
And courteous and forgiving
And inclusive and nice
To the people who treat
Me like gum under
Their shoes?

Like they're better than me,
Smarter than me,
Quicker than me,
Why do you make faces at me?

What did I do to you?
I've been nothing but nice to you!
When I talk to you
I have to stifle the flow
Of curse words I wish to direct at you.
