It had always been inside me, flowing through my veins like a river, and blooming like a lotus in my heart. It was the emotion that guided me, what allowed me to forgive, to move on and let go. To realize that there was more to life than just what I saw. It had always been inside me, even though I didn't always feel it. When ashen clouds settled over my horizons, and seeds of doubt planted themselves in my mind, it was what brought out the sun, and reminded me that I already had my garden full of flowers. Because the love for myself I spent days searching for, wandering through fields of wildflowers, and swimming through starry skies, had been in me all along.
