I was lost,
Wandering slowly through days
Hand in hand with Content
He was just enough
But nothing special
He had blinded me with the delusion
That i was where it all started and ended,
but he hid from me the inbetween.

Until something shifted in me
And my perspective changed
I took off the blindfold
And let go of Content.

And so i went searching
For Enlightened.
I wanted to shake her hand
And introduce myself
I wanted to ask for her number,
And call her at nights
So she could tell me how she did it.
How she captured the universe in her soul

But on my way to Enlightened,
I met In Between,
And in between showed me
That Enlightened was found in the little things,
I found a fragment of Enlightened in the flower on the side of the road,
And in the sunlight streaming in from the window,
I found parts of her in the people around me,
And even in my thoughts,
I collected her and stored her in my heart,
And went looking for her next sliver.
