Echidnas POV
It's been ten years since the incident and so far the plan has backfired.

The result is a human formed child exact replica of his father except he has human legs and no horns I named him Perseus in spite of the thunder god Zeus.

So far barely speaks unless it's spoken to (plus) but won't show or tell me any of its powers (minus)

I mean I'm a loving mother am I not? I let him sleep on a cold wet cave littered with bugs and guano I mean what else do you need?

Well here he comes now back from training. I'll see if he will answer me now

Perseus's POV

I walk up to my mother and she once again asks about my training.I shake my head and she storms off like every other training day.

So far I only figured out how to mimic and understand animals and monsters. My senses are extremely sensitive and I am as strong as ten grown men and as fast as a full grown hellhound. i can turn myself and things i'm touching invisible My rate of healing is superb. i don't talk to my mother because even when i was little i could sense she was evil i mean i love her just don't like her you know?

I start to head into the cave when I feel some one near by. I feel that the person is distressed and in panic. I run as fast as I can towards were the person was in time to see a young teenage girl fly through the air and hit a oak with a sickening crack. I look over and see a giant of a man running towards her. He's in a lion tunic with glowing apples sticking out of his pouch.

Right before he could reach her I finally make it to him and throw a wide roundhouse punch to his jaw and he flies to the other edge of the clearing mowing down trees. I look down at my now broken hand and hold it still as it slowly fixes itself. When it's done I check on the girl. She's a young teen dark hair, olive skin , dark eyes. I check her pulse and it's still there. She's just unconscious. Before I could do anything else large hands throw me backwards across the clearing but I land on my feet luckily. I look at the guy I punched earlier and his jaw is hanging dislocated from the punch earlier.

"Gew oo owe oo I ahe? "He tries to say. "What?"I respond not knowing what he was saying. He rolled his eyes and popped his jaw into place with a crack and a stifled cry.

"Do you know who I am? I am Hercules, son of Zeus!" He roared. I had a puzzled expression on my face. Hercules Who's that? Before I could go on thinking he went to grab at me I ducked and spear tackle his ribs glad to hear a couple of cracks and pops.

He fell limply to the floor as all of his ribs were broken. I kicked him in the mouth for good measure and he passed out from the pain of dislocating his jaw again. I ran over to were the girl was and checked her over once again and picked her up turning both of us invisible I snuck back to the cave and hid her in my portion on the clean spot.

When I set her down she started to wake up and I stepped back.
"Errrr."she groaned shaking off the hold of sleep. She looked around groggily before remembering what happened and pulled a sword out of her hair that read anklumous up the side.

"Who is there?"she asked boldly.
"Don't panic I helped you. You were unconscious. Please be quiet though, my mother might hear you."I reassured her.

"Who are you? Where is Hercules? Who is your mother?" She rambled off. "Hercules is passed out in the clearing with broken ribs and a dislocated jaw. My mother is Echidna. I'm Perseus." I whispered back " Who are you?"

"Nightshade, Zoe Nightshade."
