Widow swung her staff down upon a Hydra Soldier who dropped to the ground before she hit an AIM soldier trying to sneak up on her. The battlefield seemed to be even now. At least they were making progress.

Doom: Your efforts will be for nothing.

Widow looked up in time to see Doom flying over the battlefield, glowing like an angelic figure. On his hands were the mystical rings which were all activated.

The Ten Ring members stopped and looked up at their leader as he descended from the sky.

Doom: Kneel before your new ruler. Before the Mandarin!

AIM and Hydra soldiers kneeled down without protest as did the Ten Ring members. The heroes stopped confused as Doom lifted his hand.

Doom: I said to bow.

Wakanda Soldier: We only bow to our king!

The soldiers yelled in agreement as the Program used the chance to regroup.

Laura: What is this?

Riri: I think he did what he was trying to do. You guys can feel that energy too, right?

Billy: Mystical energy. It's powerful.

Danny: Too powerful. We need to take him down before he can do anything.

Doom looked at all the soldiers still standing before he sighed and reached his hand out.

Doom: Very well.

Suddenly, a massive wave of energy was fired form his hand that wiped out a large chunk of the area, AIM, Hydra, and Wakandan soldiers alike. Everyone recoiled in response to the power.

Doom: Bow!

Y/N: You talk too much.

Doom turned around just as he was suddenly hit by something powerful enough to send him flying across the battlefield. Everyone looked to where he was standing but found nothing.

Then they looked up.

You were hovering there, a brilliant flame like energy surrounding your body. Your left eye was that gliching purple but you didn't feel like you were out of control. You felt powerful.

Doom: H-How?! How are you here?!

Y/N: You're an idiot, that's how. You threw me into the Wellspring of Power.

Doom: I took your power!

Y/N: You took the Wellspring's power. You'll never have my power. It's not yours to take.

You slowly landed on the ground as the flame slightly died down so that it wasn't hurting anyone around you. During this time, Monica decided to count her losses and ducked away to escape. So did Abomination.

Doom: You're a fool to defy me! I have the power of the Ten Rings and the Wellspring of Power!

Y/N: And I don't give a shit.

You suddenly appeared in front of him and punched him which he tried to block, but he wasn't powerful enough. His armor began to crack and he was once again thrown across the battlefield.

He managed to catch himself and charge at you with the power behind him. He swung at you, and everyone panicked at the power of the hit.

Doom smirked as he felt himself hit your cheek, but you didn't even move. He found his fist indeed on your cheek, but you just looked at him unimpressed.

Y/N: Nice try.

You delivered an uppercut that sent him into the air. You vanished from everyone's view before you appeared above Doom. You then punched him back down into the battlefield.

Doom hit the ground and a small crater appeared below him. You slowly descended from the sky.

Y/N: Hand over the rings, Doom. After that, we can hand you over to SHIELD.

Doom: N-Never.

He pushed himself up and activated the rings. He then fired off a powerful blast of mystical energy but you simply smacked it to the side which caused it to crash into a nearby hill, which was destroyed.

He charged at you again with even more power, but you blocked blow after blow before you kicked his chest and sent him back to the ground.

Y/N: Dude, you're embarrassing yourself. Just give up.

Doom struggled to get up and you sighed. You punched the back of his head and slammed him.back down into the ground.

Y/N: Okay. I'm taking these.

You held his arm down with your knee and began to pluck the rings off of his hand before you got the others. You let go of Doom and looked at the rings.

Y/N: Good. Now, this war is over. Everyone go home. Call it a day. I need some sleep.

You shook a bit before the energy left your body making you shiver.

Venom: Gah! Pleasssse don't do that again.

Y/N: Yeah. I feel like I was getting tickled from the inside. Gross.

You looked at the rings and looked over at your team. They were pretty far but you waved at them.

Y/N: Hey, guys! I got the rings! We won! Good job!

You gave them some thumbs up as everyone looked at you with wide eyes and open mouths.

Sam: Are you fucking kidding me?

Kamala: That was so, anticlimactic. What even happened?! How am I supposed to make this into a fanfic?!

Riri: He used the Wellspring of Power. He, he didn't even need our help.

Widow: You little bastard.

You just stood there proud as the SHIELD helicarrier appeared overhead. Ready to round up all the bad guys.

Y/N: I have no idea why I'm the one getting lectured here. The hell did I do?

Widow: You made us all panic!

Gwen: Yeah! Some of us even lost our minds!

Nadia: Please don't talk about it like that.

You were at the Wakanda palace where everyone was getting patched up. Widow had escorted you to the lab to yell at you for being reckless, and that was before she saw what you did to your hands.

Lorna: What maniac carves into his own fingers like that?!

Illyana: You know magic marks like those don't heal, right? Like, you're stuck with them.

You looked at you hand and shrugged.

Y/N: I don't mind them that much.

Viv: You dolt.

She flicked your head which actually hurt causing your to pout.

Y/N: Why am I getting picked on!?

Venom: Tough love, kid. Get usssed to it.

You rubbed your forehead and sighed. At least some of the Ten Rings were captured. At least half of them! Doom, Midnight's Fire, MODOCK, Green Gobkin, and Maximus. The other five are....hell if you knew.

Plus the rings were now safe and sound.

Y/N: I thought this was a victory but it's starting to feel like a lost.

Widow: You know what? You're grounded for the first week of summer.

Y/N: What?! You can't do that!

Widow: I can and I did.

Y/N: This is bullshit!

Widow: Watch your language, young man! I will not tolerate back talk.

Y/N: I saved the day!

Cassie: And made everyone worry.

Y/N: Cause I was kidnapped?! What's the logic you guys are using?!

Kate: This is just fun to watch.

Eli: Definitely.

You just sighed as you lowered your head. At least you knew you did good.

Widow: You're also paying for all the spoons you threw out.

You looked up.

Y/N: I didn't throw out any spoons.

Everyone looked at each other confused.

Kool-Aid Man: Finally. My revenge begins.

He looked at the pile of spoons. He then began to laugh.

Widow: Huh. I wonder what happened to them.

You just sat there for a moment before you suddenly felt your body stiffen up.

Y/N: Opp. There it is.

You then fell over and landed on the ground, still in a sitting position. Everyone looked at you.

Riri: Uh....

Y/N: The power thing ran it's course. Just, give me a bit. My body will adjust.

Teddy: Do you need help getting to the jet?

Y/N: Yes, please.

As the sun began to set on the great city of New York, you found yourself watching the sunset. Venom appeared on your shoulder and looked out as well.

Venom: Why are you up here?

Y/N: Well, Widow took away my TV privileges for a week, so I figured I'd enjoy some real life.

Venom nodded.

Venom: Word. Thisss isss nice.

You smiled.

Y/N: Yeah. It is. But I seriously need some sleep.

Venom: I know.

Moon Knight: Then go to sleep.

You turned around and found Moon Knight standing there.

Y/N: Oh. What are you doing here?

Moon Knight: Checking to make sure you were still alive. You got lucky, punk.

You just shrugged.

Y/N: Honestly, it was easier than I thought it would be.

You stood there for a moment before you looked at him.

Y/N: Hey, you're my Godfather, right? And you were part of the Strikers?

Moon Knight nodded.

Y/N: So, you knew my mom?

Moon Knight: Yep.

Y/N: Can you...tell me about her? Maybe about my father too?

Moon Knight hesitated for a moment.

Moon Knight: I can tell you whatever you want about your mom. But I can't say shit about your old man. I swore not to.

Y/N: Why?

Moon Knight: Long story. But....I suppose if you were to somehow follow me to a hidden location without my knowledge and find something on your own, I suppose I wouldn't break my vow.

Y/N: You would do that?

Moon Knighy: No. Yes. I'll be back in a week. When I do, I'll bring another friend. One of the last Strikers to be alive. Another bastard who knows your daddy. He can help you where I can't. Be ready.

Before you could question it, Moon Knight turned away and left. You were left there standing alone.

Venom: Yep. Ssstill weird.

Y/N: What the hell is up with that guy?

Whatever. He was the key to finding answers. And that's all you needed. So, maybe you would have to just go Loco with your Godfather. But, next week. For now, you needed some sleep.

You were also just glad to be home.
