Widow couldn't tell you what happened after the attack on the tower. She knew that at some point, the medics had to re-set her shoulder from the fall.

She also knew that everyone who was hurt during the attack was picked up by SHIELD and rushed to the Avengers Compound for treatment. Out of all of them, she thinks Miles and Danny got the worst of it.

Viv had some minor glitches to her system thanks to the Enchantress' magic. Wanda was mostly left wondering about her power and why it felt so weak against hers.

Nadia was found on the stairs, a mess with a cracked rib. But she was also quiet the entire time. Not even a whisper. Janet tried to talk to her, but Nadia just stared at nothing.

Widow also decided that she hated hospitals and doctors. They just loved to point out what horrible things she does to herself in her line of work. But that was the life of a hero.

Eventually, Wanda began using her magic to try and fix Viv. It wasn't much, but it was a start. Widow also recalled Billy calling in and telling her that some of the other kids were at work with cleaning up the mess AIM left behind.

Widow was on one of the hospital beds when the door opened. She looked up and found Cap standing there, a tired look on his face.

Cap: You alright, Nat?

Natasha lowered her head and shook it.

Widow: No. They took the kid.

Cap looked at his friend for a moment before he walked over to her and sat beside her.

Cap: This isn't your fault.

Widow: It is. I was trusted to keep these kids safe. I was his guardian and I failed him.

Cap: No, you didn't. No one could've seen this coming. But, you and I need to figure this out. I can get a Quinjet in the air in less than five. We can track them down.

Widow: How? We don't know who these people are, what they want, or even where they are. And I can't leave these kids behind. Not again.

Cap sighed before he placed a hand on her back.

Cap: You're right. For now, you need to rest. We'll figure something out. I promise.

Widow heard him speak. She just didn't process the words. Her mind was on other things. Racing with thoughts that she wished she could control.

Suddenly, Janet rushed into the room with a panicked look.

Janet: Have you seen Nadia?

Nadia: Audio journals of Nadia Van Dyne. I was at the compound and had an idea. I haven't had a good idea in weeks so I came back to the Tower.

Nadia paced back and forth in the lab section of the Tower with a tape recorder in her hand. It was late, very late, but she couldn't sleep. She needed to figure things out. Work things out.

Nadia: This place is a bit of a mess thanks to AIM and the Ten Rings. But that's fine. We can clean that up later. Right now, priority one is to find the hideout for the Ten Rings. They mentioned the Wellspring of Power. And right now, the only ones I know who know anything about it are Y/N and Riri.

She stopped pacing and looked up when she heard a sound. She walked out of the lab and found Billy and Kamala standing in the middle of the wrecked living room.

Billy: Man, they really did a number on this place.

Kamala: I know. I...I wish I was here to help. Widow had called earlier and said that everyone was alright. But, Y/N is still missing.

Billy: Damn.

Nadia decided not to bother them and ducked back into the lab. She walked over to the table and found the radio that she had recovered from the roof. She then opened another drawer and pulled out a necklace and set it down.

Nadia: I'm going to head into my microlab. Inside, time moves slower. I can pack days into hours. I can figure this all out before anyone else gets hurt. No distractions.

She pulled on her helmets and took a deep breathe before she shrunk down into the necklace.

Janet: She's not picking up.

Janet tried to call again but still got no answer. Natasha rubbed her arm before she stood up.

Widow: She must have gone back to the Tower. We should...

She stumbled a bit but Steve was there to catch her.

Cap: No. You're staying here. Me and Janet will go.

Widow: No. I can't let them get hurt again...

Janet: Nat, rest. You'll need it when we find Y/N. Nadia is my responsibility. Let us take care of it.

Natasha was hesitant, but she knew that they had a point. She was weak, broken. She needed to heal and rest just for a moment.

Widow: Fine. I'll stay here with the others. Maybe lay down for 5 minutes or something. No more.

Cap: That's all I ask.

Natasha sat there with her head down as Janet and Steve left.

Widow: Damnit.

Gwen: Wow. They really took all the spoons.

Gwen looked at the empty spot in the drawer where the spoons would normally go. Riri looked over.

Riri: Nah. Y/N threw them all away. Fork Gang, Baby.

Gwen nodded in understanding before she walked back over to the living room where Billy was using his magic and Kamala was moving the furniture.

Billy: If we showed up earlier....

Riri: We didn't. But we're here now. The least we can do is clean this mess. And be there when it's time to find Y/N.

The group all remained silent for a moment. You were missing. The Ten Rings had you and no one knew why. No one knew what was even going on anymore.

Cap: Chins up. Heroes don't let themselves wallow in defeat.

The kids looked up to find Cap and Janet walking into the living room.

Kamala: Cap? What are you guys doing here?

Gwen: Yeah. We haven't even blown anything up. Yet.

Cap raised a brow but Janet instead stepped forward.

Janet: Have you kids seen Nadia?

Riri: We found her phone in the lab. No clue where she is, though.

She handed Jante the phone and Janet looked at it for a moment. They decided to take a look in the lab where they found no trace of Nadia.

Billy: Did the bad guys trash this room, too?

Riri: No. This is all the stuff we were moving in.

The kids started to look around but Cap stopped in front of a chalk board. He examined it before he turned to Janet.

Cap: Jan. You should take a look at this.

Janet walked over and looked at the board. On it was nonsensical writing and plans and ideas. All in Nadia's handwriting.

Find Y/N!!!

Janet: Oh no.

Cap: What are we looking at here?

Janet: I...I'm not a doctor. But, this looks a lot like one of Hank's maniac episodes.

Kamala: Maniac episode? What does that mean?

Janet: Nadia's father, Hank, was bipolar. A maniac episode is a lot like an extreme high. Your minds races, you get restless, you're easily distracted so you start a lot of things and don't finish.

Kamala: Is that bad?

Janet: A lot of the time, you don't sleep for days. You start to act brash and you get overconfident. You do things that are risky.

Cap: Like taking on an AIM base all on your own.

Everyone walked over to where Cap was standing. On the wall was a graphical map with coordinates of various AIM bases spread out.

Cap and Janet looked at each other and nodded.

Cap: We're going after her. You all stay here in case she returns.

Gwen: Yes, sir!

Cap and Janet hurried out of the lab to get to the Quinjet while the others stayed in the lab. Riri walked over to the table and looked at all the files that Nadia had on the table.

Riri: The hell is this?

She picked them up and started reading through it.

They were all things she could find regarding the Ten Rings and the Wellspring of Power. Research.

Kamala: Woah. Looks like she was really busy. Why didn't she tell us she was looking into this?

Gwen: Maybe she wanted to win Y/N love and affection. Cheater.

Billy rubbed his chin before he noticed something on one of the desks. He walked over and picked it up.

Billy: What's this?

Riri looked at it but Gwen grabbed it and looked at it in awe.

Gwen: Shiny.

Gwen tapped it and it started to glow. She dropped it back on the desk and Nadia suddenly shot out of it, now back to normal size.

Kamala: Nadia!

Nadia: что происходит?

She took off her helmet and eveeyone saw just how horrible she looked. Her skin looked pale, her eyes had bags under them, and her eyes themselves were bloodshot.

Riri: English, Nadia.

Nadia: I am speaking English. What's going on? Why are you all here?

Billy: Nadia, are you alright?

Nadia: Of course I'm okay. I need to get back to work...

Gwen: You look like shit. Maybe you should eat something? Take a nap? We can cuddle if you want.

Nadia shook her head.

Nadia: I'll take a nap when I'm done. And I'm not hungry.

Riri: Could've fooled me. Let me cook something up.

Nadia: No. I have important work to do. I have to fix this.

She went to leave but Kamala grabbed her wrist.

Kamala: It wasn't your fault, Nadia. You need to calm down....

Nadia: Let go of me, Kamala. You don't understand. You can't understand.

Kamala: Well, just stay here until Janet and Cap get back.

Nadia: Let go of me!

Kamala: Nadi....

Nadia suddenly snatched her wrist and threw Kamala over her shoulder and into the chalk board.

Nadia: I didn't want to do that. Now does anyone else...

Riri: I do.

Nadia turned around and was met with a punch to the face which caused her to stumble and fall. Riri activated her suit as Nadia held her cheek.

Nadia: You hit me.

Riri: You just threw my friend.

Nadia: I told her to let go of me and she didn't!

Riri: That's all the justification you need now?

Nadia stood back up and glared at Riri.

Nadia: I don't need to justify anything to anyone. I have important work to do.

Billy: Nadia, you're not well. You need to....

Nadia: Stay out of this, Billy!

Kamala picked herself up as Nadia clenched her fists and turned to Riri.

Kamala: Everyone just calm down! Guys, this isn't right.

Gwen: Nope. She wants a fight, she gets one.

Nadia turned as Gwen took a swing at her. She caught her fist and twisted her arm which caused her to be thrown across the room. Riri charged at Nadia but she ducked under her and hit her suit with her particles.

Riri found herself now without a suit as she crashed into the wall. Her suit was now bigger than her and fell to the ground.

Gwen got back up and tried to attack Nadia again. Nadia blocked her punch and delivered one of her own before she slammed Gwen on the ground.

Kamala: Everyone, stop! This isn't a time for us to be fighting!

Nadia: Give me my lab!

She tried to shrunk down and fly back into the necklace, but Kamala quickly stretched her arm out and grabbed it. Nadia grew back to normal size and glared at her.

Nadia: Give me my lab, Kamala.

Kamala: No. You need to stay here until Janet gets back...

Nadia lunged at her, but she was instead thrown back onto a desk.

Sam: I don't know what's going on here, but it needs to stop.

Sam landed and his energy vanished as he stood between Nadia and Kamala. Nadia got back up and charged at Sam but Sam was quick to grab her and hold her. Nadia began to kick and scream as she tried to escape.

Sam: Billy, think you can do some magic mojo stuff?

Billy nodded and focused.

Billy: I want Nadia to fall asleep. I want Nadia to fall asleep. I want....

Before he could finish, Nadia vanished from Sam's grasp. She grew back to full size behind him and trapped him in a strangle hold. Sam began to struggle before Nadia cracked him across the face.

Sam dropped to his hands and knees as Nadia continued her assault.

Nadia: You don't know what you're doing! You don't understand!

Kamala: Stop!

Nadia stopped and looked up to see Kamala holding out the necklace.

Kamala: Take it. Just take it! Please stop hitting him.

Nadia snatched the necklace away and smiled. She then looked up and saw the messed up room littered with her friends.

Nadia: Why are you all looking at me like that? I just....I'm not the bad guy here. I never wanted to hurt anyone. But I....

Everyone looked at her as she stepped back and set the necklace down on the table.

Nadia: I'll make this up to you all. I promise. I have some great ideas. I just need my lab to....

She gritted her teeth before she pulled her helmet on and flew into the necklace.

Nadia: I'm sorry.

Kamala walked over and helped Sam up while Billy pulled Gwen to her feet.

Gwen: Note to self, never try to fight a trained assassin.

Billy: I'm sorry I wasn't much help. I'm not good at hand to hand.

Sam: Nah. It's all good, dude. I'm gonna have to cover my neck for a few days.

Kamala looked over to Riri who was sitting there with a hand on her head.

Kamala: Are you alright?

Riri: We need to go after her. We need to stop her before she goes crazy or something happens in there.

Sam: You do realize she just kicked our asses, right? And she's injured.

Kamala: The same people who trained her trained Widow, too. I don't think we should mess with her. Maybe it's best if we just...leave her alone?

Riri lifted her head and looked at her friends.

Riri: Guys, I can't do this right now. Compromise. The tower was attacked. Y/N was taken. Some of us got hurt. Nadia is losing her mind. Everything is falling apart so the least I can do as the leader is try to fix something. So you're either in, or you're out.

Everyone stayed silent as they looked at each other. Riri just sighed and got up before she walked over to her enlarge armor.

Riri: Fine. You guys focus on fixing up the tower. Call Cap and Janet and tell them we found Nadia.

Billy: I think I can help you.

Billy walked over and Riri picked up her helmet.

Riri: I appreciate it.

Sam: I'll do some of the heavy lifting.

Gwen: I'll call the old folks. Maybe even get a bag of ice. My cheek hurts. Does she have iron in those hands? How could something so cute be so deadly?

Riri: Woah.

She stood there, in some half ass made suit after Billy shrunk her down. She was now inside of the necklace which was like a whole new world. In the middle was a castle like structure which she assumed was the lab.

Riri entered it and found that it was a mess of science equipment and experiments.

Riri: Nadia?! Are you in here?!

Riri had to remind herself that time worked differently here. Nadia might have been in here for what seemed like days to her bit mere moments to everyone else.

Riri: Nadia?!

Nadia: Out here.

Riri followed the voice to a balcony like area where she found Nadia sitting on the edge. That was a long way down.

Riri: Okay. Cool. Found a totally terrifying place to sit. Perfectly good hang. Mind if I join?

Nadia: Do whatever.

Riri sighed and sat next to her friend as Nadia stared out at nothing. Her eyes were glazed over. Like she was in a daze.

Riri: Look, I'm sorry this is happening to you but...we need to talk.

Nadia: So talk.

Riri: Janet told us about your dad. His Bipolar disorder. I think you have it too.

Nadia: It does run in families. I looked it up a while back. When I started feeling weird. I would be having so much fun, then I would think that I didn't belong here. I would be working on an experiment, then I would just lose motivation.

Riri: And you feel like everything is falling apart.

Nadia: I do. And I tried to fix it. And I ended up hurting my friends. I was trained to kill and murder and maim and I always blamed it on the Red Room. But maybe it goes further than that. My mind. My brain. I don't know how Y/N does it.

She stood up and Riri followed.

Nadia: The biggest problem I needed to fix was my head all along. Y/N wakes up every morning with these crazy abilities, with the weight of the world on his shoulders, but he never breaks. Not even when Felicia left. But I have one bad day and suddenly I become a bad guy.

Riri: Nadia....

Nadia: Maybe I should just dissaper.

Nadia took a step forward, but Riri grabbed her hand.

Riri: Don't you dare!

Nadia flinched at her voice. She looked back and saw her friend.

Riri: Don't you dare give up that easily.

Nadia: Riri....

Riri: I had to lose my father and my best friend. I wasn't here to lead my team and half of them are now injured. You think you're the only one suffering but you're not. Your brain is telling you that there isn't a light at the end of the tunnel. But there is.

She pulled Nadia away from the ledge.

Riri: If you dissaper in here, Janet will lose her mind. Everyone would. Viv, Wanda, Sam, Kamala....Y/N. They would wake up every morning wondering if they could've done something. I know cause, I think that every day.

Nadia slowly lowered her head and Riri pulled her into a hug.

Riri: There's treatment, Nadia. Medicine. You don't have to do this alone. And when the time comes, we'll get Y/N back. I promise.

Nadia slowly nodded.

Nadia: Do you know where I can find a good pizza place?

Riri gently pulled her away with a raised brow.

Riri: A pizza place?

Nadia shrugged.

Nadia: So I can get everyone a pizza. As, like, an apology. I never really beat up my friends before.

Riri and Nadia stood there looking at each other. Then they laughed.

Nadia: And I'm seriously sorry!

Nadia bowed as the others sat on the fixed couch. Riri managed to get her out and Nadia was quick to apologize to everyone for what happened.

Sam: Yeah, you know you almost choked me out, right?

Nadia: I know.

Sam: So I expect some serious making up.

Riri: She ordered some pizza from Rino's.

Sam: Apology accepted.

Gwen: I expect a kiss and some cuddles!

Kamala: Uh, I guess, we shouldn't be fighting anyway. We need to band together if we're going to find Y/N.

Riri: Right. And we'll do that. Once everyone is able to. Tomorrow I'm going to meet up with Wanda's friend to try and figure out more about the Wellspring of Power.

Billy: I'll go with you. But for now, let's eat some pizza. And finish cleaning up.

Everyone agreed and got to work. They had a lot to do.

Y/N: ga...aah.

You groaned as you woke up. Your body was aching everywhere and you felt like you were sick. You slowly sat up and found yourself on a bed in a dark room. Looking around, you realized that the room was actually a prison of some kind.

You sighed and tried to stand up but you gave up. The collar was still around your neck.

You moved your hands to try and use some magic, but nothing happened.

Enchantress: Don't bother, boy.

You looked over at the iron door where a girl was watching you with a grin.

Enchantress: The runes in your cell will prevent any magic you can think to use. Created by yours truly.

Y/N: WheRe am I?

Enchantress: The Wellspring of Power. You should be honored, honstely. Very few mortal men are able to even find the gate.

Y/N: The TeN rInGs.

Enchantress: You get it. Good. Now, I shall be off. I'll be back around later. Try to stay alive til then.

She blew you a kiss and left. You just lowered your head and looked at your arm. The collar was effecting Venom too. Looks like you were on your own.

As you sighed, your eyes flickered a strange color.
