Nadia was a simple girl by most standards. She loved science and people. But fun fact, her favorite animal was actually bumble bees. Ironic, isn't it?

That's why you weren't really surpised to find Nadia still asleep in her room dressed in a bumble bee night gown. She was on the floor, surrounded by notebooks, after a long night of studying for a history test.

She was even hugging a cute little alligator pillow.

Venom: Sssshe lookss ssso peaceful.

Y/N: Yeah. You almost don't want to disturb her.

You stood there for a moment before you walked over and gently kicked her leg.

Y/N: Time to wake up!

Nadia groaned and rolled over.

Nadia: Five more minutes.

Y/N: Nah uh. You said, specifically, "I will ask for five more minutes, but if I'm not up before you leave, I'll sleep til noon".

Nadia rolled back over and looked at you with a half opened eye.

Nadia: I said that?

Y/N: Yeah. You also said "upmost importance" like, twelve times. Now get up and put some pants on. We have to go to school and help Quentin set up the new projector.

Nadia let out a yawn and got up off the floor. Her hair was a mess and she looked like she was starting to get bags under her eyes.

Nadia: Nighttime Nadia is Morning time Nadia's worst enemy. One day, we shall face each other in a battle to the death. Until then, I need my....

Y/N: Trimethylxanthine?

You held out a mug of coffee towards her which made her smile. She took the mug and drank from it happily.

Nadia: Ah~ that's the good stuff.

You just leaned against the wall and drank the tea that Danny had gotten you earlier when he stopped by the tower. Widow needed to check his head to make sure he was good to go on missions. He was.

Nadia: Y/N, do you ever think about how coffee works by tricking your mind into being unable to recognize a chemical that it created?

Venom: Doesss anyone?

Y/N: Uh, no. No one does. Nice cup, by the way. Viv's idea?

Nadia held up her mug which read "World's Greatest Great Aunt".

Nadia: Yep!

You rolled your eyes and headed out.

Y/N: Me and Wanda are leaving in 10.

Nadia: Okay!

You walked back into the living room where Wanda was meditating. You had done some yourself but you never really had the patience for it. Besides that, you did everything else Danny and Wanda advised you to do.

You worked on clearing your head, conjuring spells on your free time, and even took breaks every now and then just to reflect on life.

The last one was the most difficult due to recent events.

Still, you were slowly getting better with your magic. Kinda. You were still leagues behind Wanda, but you were able to created simple protection spells and even open portals sometimes.

Wanda: Darling?

Y/N: Hm?

Wanda: You're troubled.

You looked over and saw that she was now looking at you.

Y/N: Troubled? What do you mean?

Wanda: Your mind. It's filled with thoughts unsuitable for your health.

She must be talking about the questions you had about the Ten Rings. Those bastards who seem to be there every step of your life.

Y/N: Just, things I need to think about.

Wanda: I understand. But you should still take the time to try and understand them. Think about the questions you have and try to find a satisfying answer.

Y/N: I'll...keep that in mind.

Venom: Freaky magic ssstuff.

Wanda just smirked and returned to her meditation. You tossed your empty cup into the trash and checked to make sure your bag was good to go for school.

Elsewhere in the tower, Widow was working out in the training room. She was mostly fighting with the lunching bag which had the face of one Margaret Thatcher taped on it.

Widow: For the Irish.

Nadia walked into the room, still in her pajamas, and spotted Widow. She walked over and watched her for a moment. Finally, Widow noticed her.

Widow: Ah! Oh, oh, God. Why do you kids keep sneaking up on me. How?

Nadia: Sorry! I didn't want to disturb...whatever it is you're doing.

Widow looked at the punching bag and tore off the picture.

Widow: Just, letting some off some steam.

Widow stuffed the picture into her pocket.

Widow: So what's up, Baby Wasp?

Nadia shrugged.

Nadia: I was hoping I could get the day off from school?

Widow looked at Nadia confused.

Widow: I thought you were going to help that one guy with his movie thing. You and Y/N were talking about it all week.

Nadia stayed quiet for a moment. Widow noticed this and placed a hand on her.

Widow: What got you down, Baby Wasp?

Nadia: Well, it's just...if I'm being completely honest....

Vrrt! Vrrt!

Nadia: Hold on. That's my phone.

Nadia's hands dissapered in her sleeves as she dug around for her phone.

Widow: I'm sorry, did you skip putting on pants but stick your phone in your bra?

Nadia: Yep.

Widow: You wouldn't be able to tell that you and Janet weren't related by blood.

Nadia found her phone and looked at the alert.

Nadia: Viv just sent me a text. Something came up.

Widow walked over to her bag and pulled out her phone.

Widow: Yeah. Guess you kids have a job to do.

Nadia smiled a bit. Guess her research will have to wait.

Y/N: I feel so bad right now. I promised to help Quentin.

Lorna: This seems a bit more important.

You stood on a rooftop with Lorna, Viv, Nadia, and Wanda. Down below was a protest of teachers and school workers demanding more pay.

Viv: In my calculations, there has be three reported attacks from a bull statue coming to life.

Lorna: Three? That seems more than I would think. And this thing is bronze?

Wanda: It is. That's why we asked you to come along.

Lorna and Wanda looked at each other before turning away with scowls.

You sighed. The way Wanda explained it to you was that she and Lorna were raised as siblings, until Wanda revealed she wasn't a mutant and the whole No More Mutants thing happened.

Actually, all the mutants were like that to her. That's why she was usually out when they visited.

Nadia: Oh! There it is!

You all looked down and found the Bull on a rampage.

Y/N: Alright, head out!

Everyone jumped down and landed on the street where the bull was attacking the people.

Nadia: Hey, you big bully!

Lorna: Nice one.

Nadia: You're about to be mooved.

Y/N: And now you're cut off. We need to move that Bull away from the crowd. After that, Polaris will hold the Bull in place and Wanda will take off the spell.

Nadia: On it!

Y/N: Wait....!

Nadia was already in the air flying towards the bull. What the hell was that about? Why was she suddenly going into things head first?

Nadia: Now let's see if I can steer you away. Ha! Get it?

Venom: Pleasssse ssstop.

Nadia mounted the bull and grabbed the horns as she tried to lead the bull away from the crowd.

Lorna: Bring it over here! I can...

Nadia: It's not exactly cooperative, Lorna!

Lorna looked taken aback at Nadia suddenly snapping at her. So were all of you. What was up with her?

Then, the Bull charged right towards a China shop.

Y/N: Oh no.

Venom: Oh no.

Lorna: Oh no.

Viv: Oh no.

Wanda: Oh no.

Nadia: Oh no!

Kool-Aid Man: Oh yeah!!!

The bull was suddenly shoved aside by the massive pitcher who crashed through a wall. You watched as Nadia was thrown off the bull and across the street while the bull landed on its side. Lorna took the chance to lift the bull in the air and Wanda quickly took the spell off of it which turned it back to a statue.

You rushed over to Nadia and found her costume a bit torn and her arm bleeding.

Nadia: Ow.

Y/N: Jeez. We need to get you to a hospital.

Viv: I have located one. We shall get rid of the bull.

Wanda: I'll also give Widow our report. I'll see you at school.

Lorna: I hate bulls.

Kool-Aid Man: Soon. I shall have my revenge soon.

Venom: Issss no one gonna talk about that guy?

You sat beside the hospital bed where Nadia was getting stitches in her arm. She was once again stuck in her bumble bee night gown and looked tired.

Nadia: This sucks.

Y/N: Well, look at the bright side. We were in the towm that just so happens to be the town with the most hospitals in all of america.

Nadia: That's not what I meant, Y/N. I don't know what I mean doing. I feel like everything is suddenly starting to fall apart.

The doctor got everything ready before he placed the needle against her skin.

Y/N: This isn't like you, Nadia. You're usually always happy and ready to bounce off the wall but lately you've been, off. Is everything okay?

Nadia just sighed.

Nadia: You're right. And I hate to feel like I'm complaining. I just feel, off. And I'm having trouble with my rese....ouch!

The doctor started stitching up the wound which looked painful. You also noticed Nadia was doing her best to hide the pain and was instead holding the sheet.

Y/N: Hey, uh, you wanna hold my hand? Might help you calm down.

Nadia: No. I've been through worse. I can handle it on my own.

Y/N: But, you don't have to. Not anymore.

You held out your hand and offered a smile which did help Nadia relax a bit. She slowly reached out and grabbed a hold of your hand.

Nadia: Thanks, Y/N.

Y/N: No problem.

Nadia: Also, could you remind me to start shrinking some extra clothes just in case something like this happens again?

Y/N: I'll have Viv set a reminder.

Venom: The girl isss like an Alexa. But cuter.

You and Nadia just shared a laugh.

You were back at the tower after a shorter than normal day of school. It was weird but you actually found yourself enjoying it a bit more. Shame that summer was just around the corner now.

Actually, next week. Oh God.

Venom: At leassst you can sssstill go in for Film Club.

Y/N: You just like the way Quentin makes the popcorn.

Venom: I never denied it.

You just rolled your eyes before you heard something at your window. You looked around confused but found nothing there.

There was another noise and you sat up. You looked over at the window but found no one there. You stood up and walked over to it. You opened it but your senses went off. You ducked down and something was thrown through the window.

You stood up and turned around to find something stabbed into your wall.

It was a throwing knife of some kind. At least, it looked like it. You walked over to it and pulled it out before you noticed that there was a note with it.

Meet me on the roof

You raised a brow and Venom appeared on your shoulder.

Venom: Thisss handwriting isss familiar.

Y/N: Should I go? I mean, the Ten Rings are kinda running around now.

Venom: I ssssay it'ssss worth checking out.

You couldn't find a reason to disagree. You tossed the knife on your desk and headed out into the hall.

Viv: Y/N.

You stopped and turned around to find the synthezoid walking over to you.

Y/N: What's up, V?

Viv: I was wondering if you were going to join us for the wrestling event tonight?

Oh yeah. Nadia was going to go out to diner with Janet later. After that, they were going to head to Madison Square Garden for some Wrestling event that Nadia wanted to check out. Widow was taking Viv and Wanda as well, but you didn't know if you were going to go yet or not.

Y/N: Maybe. Uh, I actually need need go do something. I'll talk to you later?

Viv: Very well. Perhaps we can engage in a game of Life?

Y/N: Sure.

You waved and headed off. You eventually made it to the stairs and headed up where the door to the roof was.

Once you were there, you looked around for whoever left that note.

Y/N: Hello?

???: Hey, Kid. Good to see you can follow orders.

You turned around and found a man standing there. It was the same guy from the rooftop. And the guy you saw rescue you.

Venom: Wait a minute...

???: You didn't listen to me, punk. Now the Ten Rings know that you're here.

Y/N: Wait, back up a second here. Who the hell are you?

???: Me? I'm known by many names. But you can call me, Moon Knight.

Moon Knight? So, he was the one who's been watching over you.

Venom: He wasss a Ssstiker like me, and your mom.

Y/N: He knows my mom?

Moon Knight looked at your shoulder.

Moon Knight: Venom. You're still alive. And with a lisp still. And yeah, I knew your mom. She was someone I held dear.

Y/N: So, what are you doing here now?

Moon Knight: I'm here to do my job as your Godfather. Protecting your ass from the Ten Rings.

Godfather?

Y/N: Wait, you're my Godfather? Who's choice was that?

Moon Knight: The hairy fuck's. Though your mom did agree so you have her to blame, too.

The hairy fuck? Was that your dad? You had so many questions.

Moon Knight: Look, I'm only going to say this once, kid. Stay the fuck away from the Ten Rings. They know more than you could believe.

You raised a brow and crossed your arms.

Y/N: What does that mean?

Moon Knight looked at Venom.

Moon Knight: Didn't you tell him anything? About the Strikers? About the betrayal?

Betrayal?

Venom: I don't remember much from that time.

Moon Knight: Makes sense. You did get your shit rocked pretty bad back then.

He looked at you and seemed to narrow his eyes at you.

Moon Knight: You need to stay away from the Ten Rings. Last warning.

Y/N: Try and stop me.

Moon Knight just shook his head and walked towards the ledge.

Moon Knight: You're as stubborn as your father. I can't tell of that's a good thing or not. Try not to die, little shit.

He then leaped off the building. You stood there for a moment before Venom turned to you.

Venom: You okay?

Y/N: No. All I have now are just more questions. Someone betrayed the Strikers?

Venom tried to remember but found that he couldn't.

Venom: I don't know.

You just sighed and headed back inside.

Y/N: Well, that sucks.

Venom: You're not going to sssstay away, are you?

Y/N: Why would I? Cause a crazy dude told me to?

Venom: Well, yeah.

Y/N: Nope.

You decided not to go with the girls after all. You had a lot to think about anyway.

So you laid on your bed tired and confused. If what that moon guy said is true, then someone betrayed the Strikers. Your mother and father. Venom and Moon Knight. The Old Man.

You closed your eyes for a moment before you heard something. You opened your eyes and sat up.

Was it Moon Knight again?

You got off the bed and walked into the hallway.

Y/N: Hello?

You walked out into the living room confused. Were the girls back already? No, they haven't been gone that long.

Soldier: Find the boy.

You stopped when you spotted a group of AIM soldiers in the living room. You ducked behind the wall and slowly peeked out.

Venom: What are they doing here?

Y/N: I don't know. But I think they're looking for me.

???: We are.

Your senses went off and you leaped out of the way. The dart hit the wall and all guns were pointed at you. Midnight's Fire stood there with a pistol in his hand.

Midnight's Fire: We meet again, boy.

Y/N: So, the Ten Rings decided to attack the home front, huh? Big mistake.

Midnight's Fire: No, my boy. We came prepared.

He aimed the gun at you and fired again. You dodged it but the men opened fire and you found yourself hit with multiple darts. You moved to attack, but you felt yourself grow weak before you fell to the floor.

Y/N: W-What is this....

Midnight's Fire: Anti-Cells. Creates to combat your abilities.

Was this the same thing that you were shot with back at the AIM base? You felt colder.

Venom: I got you, kid.

Venom began to cover your body but Midnight's Fire was quick to lock a collar around your neck. Venom cried out and retreated back to your arm as you laid there.

Midnight's Fire: The collar was originally designed to rewrite the X gene in mutants. For you, that's the source of your powers. These collars were also added after we found that you had bonded with the parasite. Courtesies of MODOCK.

MODOCK? Who the hell was MODOCK? You tried to push yourself back up but you were unable to. You muscles hurt and it felt like your mind was being torn apart from the inside out.

Midnight's Fire walked over and threw you over his shoulder. He then touched his com.

Midnight's Fire: We have the target.

Below, the girls rode in a cab on their way back from the wrestling event.

Driver: So, what were you ladies up to tonight?

Nadia: Crushing the Kree Empire.

Driver: Cool. Cool. I can dig it. Hey, quick question. Is it safe for me to drive to this building? You know, with the air ship's and whatnot?

Widow: Airships?

The girls all looked out at the tower and found several ships flying overhead.

Widow: No. Viv, Wanda, get up there! Nadia, Janet, you're with me!

The girls leaped into action with Viv and Wanda flying out of the car. Widow jumped out with Janet and Nadia as she sent out an SOS to the other Program members.

Nadia: Y/N is in there! We have to help him!

Widow: I know. I just called in the others.

Janet: I've seen those AIM ships before. They can carry upwards to 50 soldiers at once. We can't just...

Without another word, Nadia flew up with her wings while Janet and Widow stood there.

Widow: Kids. It's like working with Clint all over again. Fly me to the roof?

Janet nodded and picked up her friend before the two flew up towards the tower.

Solider: Midnight's Fire, this is the roof team checking in. We're still clear up here.

Midnight's Fire: Good. I have the target. Keep an eye out for any of the other heroes. They could ruin everything.

The soldier went to respond, but he was instead cracked across the face by the now uniformed Nadia. She kicked him away and the other soldiers on the roof turned to her. The radio slid off to the side and Nadia looked around.

Nadia: The first one to reach for the radio is getting hit with a shrink ray.

One of the soldiers raised their gun at her but she was quicker. She grabbed the gun and pulled it towards her as she also punched the man in the jaw. She then grabbed the gun and use it as a melee weapon to smash it against another man's face. She then threw it at the last soldier. She shot the gun with some Pym Particles which caused it to grow and slam into the man.

Nadia: Violence is usually my last resort, but threatening my friends will result in a temporary suspension of that rule.

Janet: Nadia!

Nadia turned around and found Janet and Widow heading her way. Janet dropped Widow off and walked over to her step daughter.

Janet: You can't just run off with a half cooked plan like this! Somebody could get hurt!

Nadia: They did. I hurt them.

Suddenly, the door was kicked open and more AIM soldiers rushed in. Nadia shrunk down and flew towards the door.

Nadia: Tell these guys not to hurt anyone. I'm going to go help the others.

Janet: Nadia!

Widow: See what I have to deal with everyday?

Down below, Miles landed and spotted the mess of unconscious AIM soldiers already littering the sidewalk.

Miles: Yikes.

Danny: I believe this is Viv's work.

Miles turned around and found his friend there.

Miles: Figured. We should head inside and find the others.

Danny: Lead the way. I will follow.

Miles nodded and hurried inside. Danny followed as he stated.

???: Security finally arrives, huh?

The two boys stopped at the voice and found a man standing there with AIM soldiers at the ready.

Maximus: The Iron Fist and the young Spider-Man. Interesting. Shame we have to kill you. I would have very much like to see what makes you tick.

The soldiers moved in but Danny and Miles made quick work of them with some kicks and punches. However, Danny suddenly found himself thrown against the wall by something something didn't see. He looked up and noticed a metal arm of some kind on Maximus' back. Miles also found himself surrounded by drones.

Maximus: Now, allow me to show you why Inhumans are far more superior than humans.

Miles: Heads up!

Danny avoided the metal arm and ducked under it before he grabbed it and punched it with his chi. The arm broke, but it was immediately replaced and Danny was swatted away again.

Miles avoided the Drone's gunfire and he manages to web a few of them, but they just kept coming.

Viv was kicked against the wall and Wanda moved in to attack their foe, but her magic missed and she was hit with a spell.

Enchantress: So, this is the powerful Scralet Witch? Not impressed.

She flicked her wrist and Wanda was suddenly bound by her green magic and lifted into the air.

Enchantress: Though, you are younger than I thought. Perhaps everyone spoke too highly of you.

Wanda: Where is my darling?

Enchantress: The Godslayer? Oh, he's safe. No harm will come to him. Yet.

She threw Wanda against the wall before she threw her right into Viv.

Enchantress: I should be going, but I would like to have a bit more fun with you two.

She smirked as she began to use her magic to hurt the girls.

Nadia reached the bottom of the stairs where she found Taskmaster waiting. He looked up and directly at her despite her small size.

Taskmaster: So, you're the new Wasp. Interesting. And here I thought I was going to be the only one not fighting.

He uncrowded his arms and Nadia grew to her normal size.

Taskmaster: So, you're Pym's daughter? This should be a good fight, then.

Nadia: Where's Y/N?

Taskmaster: I dunno. Midnight's Fire might have him on the roof already. I have to admit, I was a bit skeptical about letting him join. After all, who the hell is he anyway? But, he's proven himself pretty well by now. But, that's not what matters right now. I want to see what the Ant-Man's daughter can do.

Nadia clenched her fist and lunged at Taskmaster but he blocked her hit and dodged the other without much effort.

Nadia: You don't know anything about my dad!

Taskmaster: Ironic, cause he didn't know you even existed.

Nadia swung at him again but he spun around and instead delivered an elbow to her back.

Taskmaster: This is disappointing, Wasp Girl.

Nadia: Not for long. Take this!

She went for a high kick, but Taskmaster sweep her foot and dropped her.

Taskmaster: How embarrassing. Is that all you got? They lock you in a bunker your whole life. Brainwash you to kill. And this is all you have to show for it? You shoulder trained more before you left.

Nadia got back up and changed at Taskmaster. However, he simply grabbed her and punched her gut which dropped her to the floor.

Taskmaster: Maybe next time, you'll be more prepared.

He then kicked her down the next flight of stairs before he headed up. Along the way, Enchantress and Maximus joined him. All throughout the tower, everyone laid defeated and injured.

Widow hunched over, now surrounded by defeated AIM soldiers, while Janet was trying to cat h her breath.

Janet: I think...that's all of them. And still no sight of who's in charge.

Widow: I just...hope everyone is okay.

The door was suddenly kicked open and Midnight's Fire stepped onto the roof with you still on his should trying to struggle.

Widow: Y/N!

Midnight's Fire turned to them as his comrades joined him.

Enchantress: Oh? Real Avengers? Interesting.

Maximus: We don't have time for this!

Taskmaster: Then distract them.

Maximus smiled and pulled out a bottle of green liquid. Widow went to help you, but Maximus threw the bottle which hit the ground and erupted in a large blast of green. Widow and Janet suddenly found themselves thrown off the roof while the attackers boarded the airship.

Y/N: no..nat...asha....

Janet sprouted her wings and flew as fast as she could to catch her friend.

She reached out and Widow grabbed her hand, but they were only able to slightly slow their fall before the crashed into the tree below. The hit the ground and groaned as Widow looked up at the sky.

The ships were leaving. She weakly reached out towards one, before her vision went black.

On the ship, you laid there. Weak and tired.

Taskmaster: Next stop, the Wellspring of Power.

You tried to speak, but nothing came out.

Then, you closed your eyes.
