Y/N Romanoff was experimented on as a child before he escaped with the help of the Creator. Living most of his life as a thief to get by, Y/N found a place among young heroes in the Program.

Now, he is....MONSTER.

Previously, Y/N was forced to say goodbye to his best friend Felicia/Cat Hardy, the Black Cat. In order to take his mind off of things, he joined with his friend and fellow hero, Sam Alexander aka Nova!

After a space adventure, Y/N returned home finally able to rest. However, his troubles may not be over quite yet.

You woke up nearly unable to get up. You were so tired after your space adventure over the span of the last two days. What a fucking doozy that was.

Widow: Oh look, you're alive.

Y/N: Ugh.

You sat up and realized you were on the couch still. You looked over and noticed that Sam had left.

Widow: Now that I know you can move, I have a mission for you.

Y/N: I just got back.

Widow: Don't you worry. This one is special.

Suddenly, Nadia slid into the room with a massive smile and a pair of keys in her hand.

Nadia: Drive time! Whoohoo!

You looked at Widow.

Widow: Bruce offered to teach you two how to drive.

Y/N: And why is it just us two?

Nadia: Viv doesn't need to drive. Neither does Wanda. But we do!

Y/N: I can fly.

Nadia: I can too!

You just sighed.

Y/N: Fine.

What's the worst that could happen?

Venom: I sssswear to that fake god.....

Venom: AHHHHHHHHHH!!!!

Nadia: Weeeeeee!!!

You were current flying over New York, yes, flying, with Nadia in the driver's seat. Widow had allowed the two of you to use the car she had on hand which turned out to be able to fly.

Big mistake.

Y/N: Venom, your duty is to protect me, right?!

Venom: You're on your own! Every man for himsssself!

Nadia jerked the wheel and the car flew to the left.

The phone began to ring and you answered it on the Bluetooth.

Y/N: Hello?

Widow: Hey, kids. I know you're both practicing for your driver's test but....we have an issue. It's AIM. Remember that giant robot you both crushed over in Manhattan? The one who was piloting it was a woman named Monica Rappaccini. She went off the grid after you both attacked her but now she's back. Kinda. She has her team raiding a small Horizons Labs facility for some reason. We have no clue what fire power you'll be dealing with but back up is already on its way. If things get too crazy, call me......are you even there?

Nadia: We never left! Weeeeee!!!

Y/N: Oh God, my breakfast.

Widow: Uh, Black Widow out. Jesus.

The call ended and Nadia flew the car towards the ground. At the last minute, the tires set down and switched to driving mode which didn't slow Nadia down for a second.

She swerved her way through traffic as you held onto the seat as tightly as you could.

Nadia: Welp, so much for driving practice. I think we can drop this off at the mansion.

Y/N: The one that's destroyed?

Nadia: Yep! Which one of these is my turn?

Y/N: That one. But you're going to fast too...

Nadia pulled the energy brake and drifted the car into the turn before speeding off again. Now, you could heal from anything. At least, you think so. But, you were still able to admit when you were scared.

This is one of those times.

Nadia: Okay, I'm gonna park up here and then we'll go stop a robbery.

Y/N: But why is AIM robbing a lab? They've been quiet ever since we kicked their asses back in Cresskill.

Nadia: I'm not sure but they have to be stealing something dangerous.

Venom: More dangerousss than your driving?

Nadia: Probably.

You just sighed as Nadia drifted into a parallel park and shrunk down to change to her uniform. You held your head for a moment before you stumbled out of the car.

Nadia flew over to your pocket and you flew off once you had your mask on. As you flew through the sky, Nadia helped with placing your com in your ear.

Nadia: Hello?

Miles: Hey, the calvary is here.

Kamala: Sweet, I thought it was just us.

Danny: Widow interrupted my meditation for this.

Viv: I am here.

Y/N: This is AIM everybody. Watch out for bomb collars and implants. And for the love of God, no one die.

All: Roger!

You spotted the lab that was being attacked and flew it. Nadia also flew out of your pocket as you landed on the street. Oh. That's a tank. AIM had a tank.

Y/N: Everyone here?

Danny: Right behind you!

You flipped over Danny who charged forward and took down the first AIM soldier. Their attention turned on the two of you but you both just smiled and charged forward.

You ducked under some of the gun fire before you leaped up and covered a foot in ice. You then did a front flip which resulted in your foot slamming a guy in the head.

Danny grabbed another guy's arm and flipped him over his shoulder and onto the ground. There, he knocked the guy out with a kick.

The tank aimed it's sights right on you but you didn't even move. Why? Cause you had friends in high places.

Kamala: Enbiggen!

Kamala grew into a giant and picked the tank up before shaking it. Three guys fell from the tank and fell towards the street. Before they could hit the ground, Miles webbed them up to the wall instead.

Viv: I'm going in.

Y/N: Just be careful.

Viv flew over you and turned invisible before she phased through the wall. Once she was inside, she flew around before she found more AIM soldiers near the main vault. However, there was someone else there.

Viv: There are seven men inside. They are being led by Taskmaster.

You stopped at the name. Taskmaster was here?

Taskmaster: The decryption key that our computer girl gave us should be done unlocking the safe. Keep an eye out for any super hero types. We'll be heading out in five. Go!

The men all nodded and headed out to check the perimeter. Viv flew out of the building but quickly noticed something nearby.

Viv: They have a second tank.

Miles: Man, wish we had a tank.

Y/N: Spider-Man, Ms. Marvel, you two go deal with the last soldiers around the back. Viv, Wasp, deal with that tank. Iron Fist, you're with me.

Everyone headed out to on their orders as you and Danny headed inside.

Around the back, two soldiers stood there looking around.

Soldier: It's real quiet here. I thought we were going to finally see some action.

Soldier: You're telling me. I was up til two at my night job. I'm fighting to stay awake.

Twap!

The tired Soldier looked over to find that his friend was missing. He looked around for a moment confused.

Soldier: Haha, Tad. Funny.

Stretch!

The soldier suddenly found himself being lifted into the air and thrown into a dumpster with his friend. Kamala closed the lid and Miles webbed it up nice and good.

Kamala: Team work!

The two high fived, before they heard laughter in the air.

Meanwhile, Nadia and Viv flew over the tank and observed it. Viv flew down and fired her beam on the hatch which cut it open. Nadia then flew down.

Soldier: Oh, that's not good.

Nadia: On the contrary!

She swooped down and picked the two men up.

Nadia: It now gives us plenty of time to get to know each other better. And I've been told that I am a delight to be around.

Soldiers: Ahhhhhh!!!

But once again, the girls froze when they heard laughter.

Nadia dropped the men down onto the tank, knocking them out, and looked around. Suddenly, she spotted something. Or, someone.

???: Hahaha! Look at all the new toys I get to play with!

Miles: Ah, man. Green Goblin? Now? Are you kidding me?!

The Green Goblin flew down towards the heroes but they all avoided his gas.

Viv: Toxic levels are high. I advise that you all avoid them.

Kamala: Well, there goes my Sunday plans. Now what am I supposed to do if I can't go head first into a cloud of death?

You and Danny hurried down the hall of the lab towards the vault. Now, this was a lab. That meant unstable chemicals everywhere. And probably a lot of flammable gasses. So fire is out.

Looks like you'll have to improvise.

You and Danny reached the door to the vaults and kicked it open together. The men all aimed their guns at you but you just popped out your claws as Danny charged his fist.

Y/N: Howdy. I hope you weren't waiting too long.

The men opened fire but you and Danny rushed in. You sliced through one of the guns before you kicked the man into another. You then froze them to the wall before diving into another fight.

Danny punched one of the tables across the room which collided with another man before he leaped over the desk and punched another. He then picked up an empty glass container and broke it over another man's head.

You reached the last two men and ducked under their guns. You jumped up behind them and pulled a move out of Widow's book. You kicked both men at the same time which knocked them out. You landed and looked at Danny.

Danny: Fist Bros.

Y/N: Fork Gang.

Venom: Dorksss.

Suddenly, the door opened and the two of you turned to see Taskmaster walking out of the vault. In his hand was a box of some kind.

Taskmaster: I've secured the device. Time to....fly?

He spotted the two of you and stood there for a moment. He then sighed and placed the box into his bag before he pulled out his sword and sheild.

Taskmaster: You get what you paid for. And I paid for nothing.

Y/N: Turn yourself over, Taskmaster. Or not. It'll give me a good reason to kick your ass. Or, at least another reason.

Danny: Surrender!

Taskmaster: I would, but I don't want to. How about you hand over my baby brother and be on your way?

Y/N: I already told you that you're not my brother!

Taskmaster just raised his sword.

Taskmaster: Well, now I feel slightly less bad about having to hurt you.

He lunged at you but you blocked his blow with your claws. You then tired to freeze his foot, but he avoided it and leaped over you. He threw his shield over at Danny but he ducked under it. However, the shield bounced off the wall and instead hit Danny in the back of the head.

Danny fell to the ground and Taskmaster caught his shield. He the swung his sword at you again.

Back outside, Green Goblin contiued throwing bombs at the others who did their best to avoid them.

Goblin: Hahaha! You children are fools to try and fight us!

Miles: And you're a fool for think you're leaving here in anything besides a cop car!

He leaped out of the way as the Goblin threw another bomb. The car Miles was on exploded and the Goblin laughed.

Nadia: Are you working with AIM?

Goblin: I could care less about those imbeciles! I only serve two things. Myself, and the Ten Rings!

Kamala: The Ten Rings? That's the group Midnight's Fire was apart of. Riri told me about it.

The Goblin contiued to throw bombs before the wall to the lab was suddenly destroyed. Everyone looked to see you being thrown through the wall and across the street where you finally landed. You pushed yourself up and stumbled a bit.

Y/N: Not how I saw this going.

Venom: Tell me about it.

Taskmaster walked out of the destoryed wall and looked over at Goblin.

Taskmaster: I have what we came here for. Get ready to get out of here.

Goblin: The fun's over already? Shame shame shame. Very well.

Goblin flew down and grabbed Taskmaster before the two flew off. You went to follow, but you were too late. Taskmaster pulled out a rune and activated it which caused the two to vanish.

You landed back on the street and growled as everyone made their way to you.

Miles: First Goblin and now Taskmaster? Jeez. These bad guy team ups are just getting worse.

Danny stumbled out of the building. Viv noticed him and flew over to help support him. You all watched as she walked him over to you as he held his head.

Danny: He is a formidable opponent.

Y/N: Maybe. Or maybe we just aren't prepared for this kind of thing yet. We were caught off guard.

Nadia: Widow did say she didn't know what we would be dealing with.

Kamala: Yeah. Who would've thought this whole thing was a Ten Rings situation.

You stopped and slowly turned around to her.

Y/N: Come again?

Kamala: Well, Goblin said he severed the Ten Rings. If he's working with Taskmaster....

Y/N: Then he works for them too. AIM might also be a part of it.

Venom: That guy on the roof did sssay not to get involved with them. Thisss whole thing looksss like it runsss deeper than we thought, Kid.

It would seem so. You sighed and shook your head.

Y/N: I need to call Riri. She was there with me when we first fought the Ten Rings. If Taskmaster and Goblin really are involved in this, then we need to work together to figure this out.

Miles: We can help. Goblin is kinda a Spider villain.

Danny: And I can help if something mystical is at play. Even Wanda, if you ask.

Nadia: I can help! Somehow.

You smiled a bit.

Y/N: Alright. But, for now at least, we should head back to the Tower and give Widow our report.

Kamala: Report, we got our butts kicked.

Viv: I have the footage.

Everyone stood there for a moment.

Viv: Footage deleted.

All: Thanks.

You walked into the living room after a refreshing shower. You wore your lounge clothes as you dried your hair with a towel.

Y/N: I gave Riri a call and explained what was going on to her. She said that she's busy but she's ready whenever AIM or whoever decides to pop back up.

Nadia: That's good. At least we're getting somewhere.

Wanda: I also spoke to a friend of mine. When all is ready, he will be willing to offer his assistant.

You smiled and kissed her on the head while you walked past. Wanda smirked while Nadia pouted.

Y/N: Well, I guess we're back to boring old school and training again. I can't believe we blew that mission.

Nadia: No one got hurt. That's what matters.

Viv: Danny suffered from slight head trauma.

Nadia: No one died. That's what matters.

You shrugged. She had a point. As long as everyone was safe, things weren't that bad.

But, you did have a thought lingering in your head.

Y/N: Hey, if Taskmaster is working for the guy who made me this, do you think I'm connected to the Ten Rings somehow?

The girls all looked at each other for a moment. If that was the case, then things really were starting to get complicated. If everything leads back to them, then you should step lightly. One wrong move and they could vanish again.

Taskmaster: Here is the box.

Taskmaster tossed it to his associate who smiled.

Monica: Perfect.

Monica set the box on her table and began to examine it.

Goblin: Your little boy toys were all captured by the heroes, though.

Monica: I don't care. As long as we have what we need.

???: I agree.

Goblin: I'm so glad I'm not the ugliest one here.

MODOCK flew over to the desk and looked at the box.

MODOCK: Phase 1 is complete. Soon, we will move onto Phase 2.

Taskmaster ignored them both and headed to the main room where he found the other members of their organization.

???: I'm growing inpatient! You promised me the boy and you have yet to deliver!

Maximus the Mad stared at the man angrily.

???: And you shall get him when we finish our plan. Patience is a virtue, Maximus.

???: Perhaps if your collar worked as it was supposed to, the Godslayer would be weaker than he is now.

Maximus: Silence, you wrench! You know nothing of my inventions! It would have worked if it wasn't for those damn brats!

Enchantress: Temper temper, Maxy. It would be a shame if I lost mine and turned you into a frog. Again.

???: Silence, both of you!

Everyone turned towards the entrance where three more walked in. Midnight's Fire nodded to Taskmaster who nodded back.

???: Your squabbling will get us no where. You have failed me already, Maximus. I should let Amora turn you into a rabbit and lock you in a cage.

The man stood his seat at the head of the table as the giant stood beside him.

???: I would pay to see that.

???: I'll let you see it for free if these fools don't stop fighting. The Godslayer has his allies growing in number since our last attempt. If we fail this time, that will be it. I will not tolerate anymore missteps. Do you understand?!

Everyone nodded as the man placed a hand on his chin.

???: Get ready for Phase 2.
