Nandini started ascending the stairs to go to her room meanwhile the door opened which made her alert.....she stopped climbing the stairs when she heard the loud sound of door slamming which made her shiver thinking about manik's anger.....nandini glued to the wall as she saw her husband descending the stairs hurriedly...every cell of that angry hulk was screaming about the intensity of his anger......he was about to pass thru nandini but she held his hand stopping him......with pursed lips he raised his head to look at her with his piercing gaze.....

Not now nandini....m not in a mood to listen anything in stern tone he said and took one more step but nandini held his hand

Where r u going a bit scared

I will be back soon he was putting alot of effort to not just shout at nandini bcz at that time she was pissing him to the extreme level

Have u gone mad....dimagh theek hai tmhara manik shouted tmhe Kia lgta hai ke akela gya to I will end up suiciding...tears streamed down Nandini's cheeks as she listened to his words what r u thinking that I will end up in a horrible accident or will end up taking my life in water....or I will jump off the cliff bcz ohhh God the pain is too much gripping her arm he jerked her towards himself.....

pain expressions masked her face at such tight grip as she looked at his face but on the other hand his face was expressionless but his grip softened as he looked at her face......he immediately removed his hands from her arms and turned around to leave when nandini hugged him from back

Manik plzzz mjhe dar lg rha hai....tmhe ghussa arha hai tm mere pe nikal lo but plzzz m not letting u go alone she tightened her grip around his torso and manik sighed pushing his tears back....taking deep breaths he turned around and tossed his wallet and car keys on table saying FINNNEEEE....ab rona bnd karo manik wiped her tears as she kept looking at her man with amazed face....he really calmed himself down just for her.......

I want some alone time so plzzz he announced moving towards the room and nandini sighed in somewhat relief but she seemed worried too as she knew it wasn't gonna be easy for her.....she sat on sofa and hugged her knees watching him going upstairs......she remained like this looking at the surrounding blankly they were happy sometime back......how much effort he put into to make chicken karahi for her and the treatment with the dish made by his hands had her mourning over the grief......they didn't even start eating properly when his mother came and ruined everything.......she threw her head on her knees but then Mary brought her out of her thoughts.....she looked at her who was already looking at nandini with a sorry face

Jab jab nyonika mam yahan ati hai baba aise hi act karte hai.......the only difference is this time u r also here for him otherwise he always keeps everything within himself only.....fab 5 ko bhi kuch nhi PTA chalta nandini kept looking at him with tear-stained face......

He is not opening up to me also she said in crying tone

He will open up soon...he is in pain he needs u to be by his side....he wont say it but still he needs u to be there for him..to help him to move on...to help him to recover from this pain.....he is alone from start....he needs assurance....he needs ur luv ur care the most.....this is the time to strengthen ur relation with him....this is the time to build more trust...to break walls which he has created around himself.....and only u can do it...only u can bring him out of this phase and I know u will do it.......just dont give up...agar wo koi baat ghussa mein keh de to mind na karna.....u know how much he luvs u......he will break agar tm chor ke chale gye marry conveyed everything in a gentle way all the time rubbing Nandini's hand......nandini looked at the woman infront of her who was like her mother.....she hugged her tight and cried he is in so much pain....why she did that to her own son to which marry just rubbed her back bcz she too didn't know how someone like nyonika who used to luv manik so much ended up like that.......they both were talking when nandini saw ramzi (servant) going upstairs holding a tray which had whiskey bottles and glass.........she frowned but then calmed herself knowing that if she would put so much restrictions then the situation would take an ugly turn......going towards him she called ramzi asking him to take food for manik also...at first ramzi was hesitant wo mam sir naraz hojaye ge (he voiced out in scared tone) but then nandini said khna ke nandini mam ne bheja hai...

Scene change

Manik entered the room and threw himself on bed.....he took long breaths thinking about nandini......she was too adamant to not let him go out and it frustrated manik to no end......he wanted to shout at her yell at her to stop that childish behaviour....he was sick of all those dramas and nandini was doing one.......but when he saw her tears it melted him.....after ages someone was crying for him......someone was finally caring for him......someone wanted him to be safe and unknowingly he sighed in relief as he turned around to see Nandini's tear stained face......he with his palms wiped her tear stained face feeling bad that she was crying bcz of him and then went back to his room tossing the keys there on table reassuring her that he wont go.......he was staring at the wall when all those moments started flashing in his mind.......he was shocked to see her there in his house and when she kissed him.....damn she had lost that right....how dare she his mind shouted all of sudden he started feeling suffocated as his mind started processing the details.....opening the windows he stood there while embracing the cold air.........closing his eyes he gulped his saliva to stop himself from crying as he punched the window angrily......he did it for 2 to 3 times but the pain wasn't going and he knew what to do next to get relief from that horrible pain which was clenching his chest........and few minutes later ramzi was present there knocking the door.....closing the window he lazily opened the door as he saw him dragging the trolley but wait it had some food also

I didn't ask u to bring food with frowns on his forehead he growled

Wo sir nandini mam ne bola ramzi said in scared tone and manik just hmmed asking him to leave.......he stared at the meal but then shook his head ramzi manik called as he was about to exit from room nandini mam ne khana khaya rubbing his temple he asked

Nhi....nhi sir he stood with hands at back

Ask marry to make sure she eats sth b4 going to bed in plain tone he said as he poured drink for himself........sitting on bed he drank the whole glass in one go......and whiskey burnt everything as it went down his throat burning those sick feelings also....he also drew out lighter and cigarette pack and bingo he started abusing his body by using those things which were harmful for him........the ashes of cigarettes and empty bottles were doing their best to remove his pain......to help him from forgetting everything for time being.....soon the room was filled with smell of whiskey and smoke but none was there to care......he was used to live in that environment......he started feeling light and after sometime he slept in that suffocating environment unaware of everything

Meanwhile on other side nandini was eating her meal happily...though she wanted to eat with manik but the situation took an ugly turn which ruined all their plans but when manik sent the msg thru ramzi she couldn't deny but do what he said.......

Morning

Manik woke up with severe headache....rubbing his temple he sat on bed groaning in pain.......he was about to call nandini when he realized that she wasn't there...sighing he left that task for some other time bcz at that time his main concern was to get rid of that headache....he got up from bed and moved towards the washroom with staggering steps.....he put his one finger inside his throat as deep as he could to vomit and seconds later he threw everything he had in his stomach..........he was feeling a bit better but still his headache was same........wiping his mouth he entered the room to find nandini sitting on bed observing the surrounding......he followed her gaze and all he could see was cigarette ashes and bottles of whiskey.........he traced his gaze back to nandini to judge her emotions but her face was emotionless.......at the same time nandini also looked at him and manik lowered his head feeling embarrassed......he remembered every single effort of hers to make him leave smoking and drinking but he was back to it again.......

Wo nandini Iiii he was about to say sorry when nandini cut him saying here is lemonade for u still looking at the bottles she handed him the glass

M sorry he whispered but nandini turned towards the table not answering him as she was disappointed at his behaviour

U didn't even eat ur dinner taking the tray from table she was about to leave as she atleast expected him to respect her words

Nandini wait he reached around to grab her hand....pulling her towards himself he tried to look at her face but she bent it down......holding her chin by his two fingers he raised her head and kissed her temple m sorry he whispered joining their heads as he really didn't want to loose her.......

I cant afford to loose u......I know I was very rude but he started panicking when she stood their motionless just staring at him......but her next action shocked him when she gripped his collars and said Is sab ka bdla to mein lnge but u really need to start taking care of u in serious tone

I couldn't think of anything else at that time rubbing his temple he admitted....their was no symptoms of yesterday's event on him.....he was acting like that incident didn't even happen to him infact it happened to someone else

Tm ho jo mera khayal rkhne ke liye stroking her cheek he said rkho ge na mera khayal hmesha ke liye with hope in his voice he asked her and she nodded her head in tears to which manik hugged her embracing her in his tight grip...

We r going to shopping at evening...be ready he said hugging her.....he was going to office after eating his breakfast to his fullest as nandini kept forcing him to compensate even for the night........they were at the door when manik stopped.....he looked at her who raised her eyebrow in confusion but b4 she could register anything he pulled her closer and smooched her lips saying u missed it and he was gone while nandini kept staring at his back that how the hell he could even behave normally after spending such a painful night.....the hulk was calm and it was more concerning for nandini as she wanted him to open up rather than hiding everything in his heart only......

Evening

They were at shopping mall and manik just wanted to buy the whole mall for his nandini but it was nandini who was stopping him

Are yaar I work hard for u only he pouted like a child and nandini wanted to eat him raw at that time......pulling his cheeks she said u r so cuteeee to which manik glared at her but she giggled in return.....they were lost in their own world when an old lady tapped manik's shoulder.....he turned around and the look on his face was sth scary.....nandini saw his face turning pale as he stood there as such while the lady hugged him saying aree aaj mera beta prem mjhe yaad arha tha dekho tm mil gye mjhe moving hand over his face lovingly she said as she kissed manik's temple various times

Kia Hua tmhe achaw nhi lgta ye SB old lady said in sad tone and manik came out of his thoughts....shaking his head he spoke after clearing his throat which got plugged by tears I wasn't expecting u that's why he smiled at her softly I know may be tmhe weird lgta ho but tmhe dekh ke mjhe prem ki kami mehsoos nhi hoti....tmhe dekh ln to dil ko sakoon mil jata hai jese apne prem ko dekh lia....jese usse mil lia.....agar tmhe bura na lge to tm kbhi kbhar mjhse milne ajaya karo beta the old lady said in pleading tone holding manik's hand.....a colour appeared on manik's face as he looked at her unable to produce an answer........a stranger to whom he met 2 times only was treating him like a son just bcz of some resemblance and on the other hand was his biological mother who left him for money.......who made his life a living hell

G manik said as he stared at the ground so that noone could get a hint of his feelings ajaya karo ga....mjhe bhi achaw lgta hai aapse mil kar he said with great difficulty as he didn't want to break the old lady's heart......

Ye tmhare bv hai the old exclaimed in happiness as she turned her gaze towards nandini

G manik said placing hand on Nandini's waist as he smiled masking his emotions

Agar mera prem hota to mein uske liye aise hi khoobsurat bv late that lady moved forward and hugged nandini

Mere bete ka khayal rkha karo jab hm 1st time mile us din bhi ye bht pareshaan tha but dekho ab tm sath ho to kitna kush hai....hmesha aise hi rhna dono she said to nandini as she palmed manik's face to which he smiled and later on he hugged the old lady and left from there holding Nandini's hand.....throwing the shopping bags on back seat he opened the front door and sat on driving seat which caught Nandini's attention.......with a serious face he closed the door and ignited the engine not even for once looking at nandini

Manik nandini called slowly as she looked at his stiff figure but not getting an answer from manik nandini continued

Let me concentrate on driving nandini he said in plain tone which was void of any anger or sth like that but it was enough to make her susshh....after sometime she looked at him with worried face

Chalo utro he said as he stopped the car...nandini looked upward to see a lavish restaurant....with a heavy heart she opened the door went towards manik who was already waiting for her......they proceeded into the hotel and manik dragged a chair for her gesturing her to sit there.....she sat there all the time looking at him only who was just sipping the water slowly........then he called the servant and ordered food....after that he looked at her to find her lost in thoughts......

Nandiniiii he sighed

Manik u just cant keep everything to urself only.....u need to share...is trah to tm apne dil mein sare baat rkh ke shi nhi kar rhe......we r not husband and wife for gud times only......we vowed to be with each other in our bad times..... holding manik's hand she said in dead serious tone....

Their is nothing to share scratching the end of table he said

As if I cant see it in ur eyes in challenging tone

M just trying to digest the fact that their r some mothers who actually luvs their children.....not everyone is deprived of this type of luv like me.....not everyone has to see their mothers giving more imp to a random person infront of her son....and dw m okay patting her hand in assuring way he rested his head on headrest.......

Now m very hungry so let's concentrate on dinner he announced dishing out some starters for themselves and then he started eating quietly while nandini took a deep breath and followed the suite knowing that digging the matter further wouldn't help......she just prayed to God to.make everything okay....to remove all the problems from his life
