The sun rose engulfing the darkness of night....giving life to everything present in the world...spreading the msg that after every dark night comes a bright morning full of happiness........the branches of trees swayed here and there in the cool breeze...the leaves danced enjoying the weather and birds chirped breaking the silence with their sweet voices........but inside a master bedroom of a big mansion a couple was sleeping peacefully without any tension or worry snuggling more in eachother........their was a strange peace over their faces and their lips curved into smile......birds chirping and rays of sun didnt succeed in breaking their peaceful sleep but the alarm did the work forcing them to open their eyes and stop the irritating voice of alarm cmng from the cell phone.......they both turned of their alarms with sleepy eyes and then for a moment looked at eachother.....manik pulled nandini and then they both dropped their heads back on the soft welcoming pillows not wanting to get up and start the boring routine of the day or most probably they didnt want to go away from eachother.......

After about 5 mins nandini while moving her hand gently in his hair said

N: manik its getting late.....get up

Ma: ummmmm (he groaned)

N: okay lemme go atleast

Ma: can't we drop the idea of going to hospital and office and just stay like this....sleeping all day it would be fun (the sleepy head inside him presented a wonderful idea)

N: its important manik.....our work also needs us (trying to get up while adressing him gently)

Ma: and what about me..... I also need u (he luved to act childish infront of her....probably bcz of the attention he was getting by her...the way she was caring for him like a mother)

N: maniikkk (she warned him...the warning full of luv)

Ma: okay (grumpily) u know what u the most insensitive wife.....

Nandini laughed at his remark and said tmne kitni wifes ko test kia hua hai.....with this she moved towards washroom after blowing flying kisses

She returned after taking quite gud time in bathing and in mean time her sleepimg beauty(manik) slept again ......she called manik while wiping her wet hair with towel but no respone....she went near him and found him snoring with his mouth open and his hair felling on the face disturbing the beautiful view.....she shaked him one or two times but manik being manik didn't budge from his place......

N: manik wake up warna i have other ways also (she tried to threaten him but on the other side was manik malhotra.....she looked here and there and her eyes spotted glass of water placed on table.....she smirked and picked up the glass and emptied the whole glass on him making him gasp .......

Ma: nandini (he shouted wiping water of his face and nandini laughed while running away from him.....)

Manik jumped off the bed and followed her....she was jumping off the stairs hurriedly scared to get caught.......she quickened her speed when she found manik close to her and went behind the sofa.......she picked up the cushion and hid her face with it.......she was moving back and manik was proceeding towards her with his all time famous smirk.......

N: manik we r getting late (thinking that this might help her but that day manik wasnt in a mood of letting her go)

Ma: doesnt matter.....mera apna office hai (went more close to her so that she was sandwiched now between the door and him)

Ma: bara shouk horha tha paani girane kaa (picking up the bottle)

N: sorry (she said cutely)

Ma: ahaaaannnn (opening the lid of bottle....he tilted the bottle over her head leaning close to her )

N: but mene sirf 1 glass giraya tha (making a puppy face)

Ma: m manik malhotra.... i should do sth extra ordinary different from other people (he winked and then emptied whole bottle on her......nandini had her mouth open....she didnt expect that he would actually throw water on her...... how rude )

Manik leaned closer to her face and kissed her cheeks saying thnku and went away shouting next time try some other way to wake me up ........a sincere advicefrom a luving husband he smirked

N: i hate u

Ma: luv u too (he winked making her blush......this man he really knew how to cheer her up within seconds......she could never resist him)

Nandini arranged everything on dinning table and was waiting for him patiently......then she heard tapping sounds of shoes....she raised her head and forgot to take her eyes off her man who was looking breathtakingly handsome......he sat beside her folding his sleeves while nandini started filling their plates....manik after setting his shirt picked up the fork and like always fed the first bite of his meal to nandini making her smile wide.........she so luved his cute gesture.....he was indeed husband goals and she couldnt thank enough God that he brought manik in her life........then they ate their breakfast.....after breakfast manik pulled her towards him and handed her his tie gesturing her to tie it........she tried to tie it but obviously she failed bcz of his extra long height.....she glared at the laughing manik who sat on chair to make it easy for her.....she started tying the knot of tie while manik as usual disturbed her....the thing which he luved doing the most....they sat on the car and manik drove the car towards the hospital...stopping the car infront of hospital he looked at her watching her grabbing her cell phone and sthethoscope all ready to leave......he kissed her hand and said

Ma: bye jaan ......Will miss u

N: bye manik......will miss u too.....(she get off the car and remained there watching his car going away)

It was lunch time and manik was going to get something for himself when a thought of nandini crossed his mind....he grabbed his phone sitting back on chair and started typing msg....after doing it he dropped the phone on his chest and smiled brighlty mumbling who would have thought that monster manik would fall for someone so badly........

On the other side a msg notification caught nandini's attention and she looked here and there to make sure no senior doctor was near and opened the msg inbox.......as soon as she found a msg from manik and her face flushed bcz of happiness.....

Msg: dont forget to eat sth plzzz 😘😘😘

And she was on 7th floor reading the msg by his man....it was amazing being luved by someone u luv......she with blushing face hugged the phone tighlty ad if she were hugging manik.....after taking her time in blushing she typed a msg ok mani 😍😘.....

In evening

Nandini was in kitchen preparing dinner for bith of them........she prepared biryani and pasta......cheesecake in dessert and after giving final touches to everything she looked at them placing her one hand on her hip, hair tied in a loose bun and a feeling of tiredness covering her face......she was so tired after doing wards that one side of her heart just wanted to crash on bed without saying a word but the other half wanted to spend some time with manik and to do sth special for him and obvio in this battle the second side won....she looked at the wall clock and decided to take a shower b4 manik arrival ......she took a bath and changed into comfortable clothes...she combed her wet hair and let them open falling on her shoulders and applied manik's fav lipstick......she enquired herself in mirror and after her mind gave her approval she descended down the stairs to arrange table knowing that manik would come any moment

The horn of car caused nandini to move from her place and she rushed towards the door happily....she opened the door and manik smiled brightly b4 drawing his hand from the back and presented her a rose like a gentle man.......she blushingly took it and whispered thnku luving it..... manik moved in and hugged her placing a kiss on her forehead.......she in return kissed his cheek and took.his laptop bag from  him and in this way (i.e manik side hugging nandini) they proceeded towards dinning room......manik looked at the dinning table and then at her

Ma: ye sab tmne bnaya (shocked)

N: haan (casusally)

Manik sat on chair nd pulled her with a jerk causing her to land on his lap......she widened her eyes in shock bcz of the sudden pull....manik tightened his grip on her and removing a strand of hair from her face he said

Ma: itna sb kuch karne ki kia zaroorat thi....thak gye hoge tm

N: m no more tired after seeing u (she stated the fact and it touched manik's heart.....he pecked her lips and whispered God has blessed me with the best.....)

Then they both shared some cozy moments feeding each other with all the luv and care......manik ate everything but he didnt even look at the pasta

N: mani try this also

Ma: NO .....m not going to eat ur pasta (raising his hands) it made me remember that horrible day (he pouted and she stroked his chin affectionately saying manii its not going to happen again...

Ma: yeah but still no pasta

At night

Manik was doing sth on laptop while nandini was busy checking all racks of cupboard....she pulled an evelope sighing in relief but some pics also fell from the cupboard akong with it.....she picked up one pick and saw a boy of 4 5 years with toothless smile......awwwww

N: u were so cute (she said showing the pic to him earning his smile in return)

Ma: come....i will show u the pics (putting his laptop aside they started seeing the pics with manik telling the details related to every pic)

Ma: yeh here is the dad......look at the way he is celebrating (he scrunched his nose ) 1 hi  game mushkil se jeete the place station mere se aur itne kush horhe the (pictures showing raj raising his hands in celebration after winning..... picture of him showing tongue to manik ....and there was 1 more picture of him hugging manik who was sitting there irritated )

N: these pictures r so cute (adoring the pics)

They moved towards next page and his fingers stopped right there as he looked at the pics of him and nyonika ........nandini waited for his explanation but after an unusual  pause she looked at him to find him disturbed with pained expressions but soon he replaced it with stoic face and said

Ma: she.......sheeeee was the one.....my mama (his voice shaked at the end but he covered it efficiently.......nandini's eyes shot towards him and she looked there shocked but she was unable to find any emotion on his face.....didn't want to start the topic again she traced her eyes back from his face to the album when she saw manik caressing the picture with shaky hand ......... she was missing his mum it hurted nandini to see him like that.... his mum was beautiful no doubt same was the case with his dad....that was the reason their product was breathtakingly handsome and beautiful....... in one picture nandini saw him lying on his mother's lap and she stroking his hair with a smiling face.....her mother putting cake on his nose......him kissing his mother and many more......she was so into her thoughts and manik's voice broke her chain of thoughts

Ma: lets sleep u have an early morning shift tomorrow (throwing photo album in drawer and setting his side of bed.....nandini sat there glancing at him but she tucked his hand and gestured him to sit down on bed.....)

N: sone ka is liye keh rhe ho taake tm phir is sab ke baare mein sochte rho (looking at him intently)

Manik was taken a back for a moment as if his secret were revealed but then covered it with an annoyed expression and said

Ma: why would i think about her .....she is no one (rolling his eyes in annoyance)

N: u still luv her (that day she wanted him to make a decision...either to forget his mum or forgive her but she was in no mood to let him spoil his mood everyday bcz of her)

Ma: this is the stupidiest shit i have ever heard (he roared yanking the quilt over him)

N: manik I can see it clearly in ur eyes......ur eyes softened at the moment u saw her pic

Ma: just shutup nandini....dont push me to the extent where I would do such thing we both will regret......i didnt tell u all this so that u start telling me these stupid things......its over....i dont wanna talk about that lady.....

Nandini looked at him scared cuz of his anger ....after so many years she had seen that worst side of manik malhotra....the scary side.....she was sitting like a statue when manik pulled her causing her to crash on his chest and said

Ma: now sleep.....

Nandini  didnt say a word but struggled in his grip making manik open his arms to let her go and turned to her side of bed after turning off the lamp.....manik looked at her back with guilt in his eyes what was her fault his mind said throwing him in a pool of guilt and he said softly

Ma: nandini (no response) r u angry

N: no (in plain tone)

Ma: m sorry (encircling his arm around her torso)

N: i wanna sleep (removing his hand making him sad)

He got up from the bed and moved towards her side turned on the lamp and sat on the ground close to her

Ma: sorry nandu...i was so rude....u know u can punch me as much as u want but plzzz don't be angry

Nandini still didnt respond but then he heard faint sobs turning jnto big ones  making him tense.......she got so much luv from him that his angry side made her cry more and more.........

Ma: nandini plzzzz dont cry (wiping tears from her face but she pushed his hands back)

Nandini tm apna ghussa nikal lo lekin is trah ro to na (pulling her in his lap)

Manik wiped her tears but then his face moved back bcz of the force of punch he received from nandini u shouted at me....idiot tm ho stupid baate tm karte ho mein nhi she complained cutely and manik kissed her tear filled eyes in response

Ma: it was hard one (tracing his finger over that area where nandini hit him moving his jaw back and forth in order to ease the pain

N: u deserved it....manik hmmmed in response to whixh nandini looked at him to find him rubbing the sore part making her feel ashamed of her act..... (he is going thru so muxh and on the other side u r punching him nandini 🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️)

She kissed his jaw line making him close his eyes to feel that moment......

N: i shouldnt have dragged it to that extent.....it was my fault

Ma: its okay....lets not discuss her (tightening his grip around her while she rested her head on his shoulder)

They lied down on bed hugging each other with one question disturbing him Do i still luv her after what she had done to me???

So guys thats it .....how was the update...personally I  luved their moments...the cute moments of a couple....the way manik asked her if she had eaten sth or not......the way he kissed her forehead....and she prepared lunch  for him despite how tired she was 😍😍😍😍😍 it was cute
