Manik was sleeping peacefully when he felt someone shaking him.....he groaned in sleep......

N: manik it's too late now get up(shaking his shoulder)

Ma: nandini I haven't slept such a peaceful sleep from years....lemme sleep plzzz (tightening his grip around her pulling her closer....)

N: but manik sb uth gye hnge...achaw nhi lgta (she said running hand in his silky hair and manik snuggled more in her)

Ma: I don't care about them

N: but I do care about what they think

Manik remained still for a minute or so and then said

Ma: let's go then (he said sitting on the bed)

N: tmhe to neend aye hue the naa....tm sojao

Ma: tmhe saro ke PaaS jana n.a....it's okay mein baad mein sojao ga (running his eyes cutely)

N: dad ne Shi kha tha tmhare jitna Khayal koi nhi rkhe ga....abhi to 1 night spend ke sath nd m feeling blessed.... I luv u so so much (kissing his eyes then nose cheeks and at last she pecked his lips while he just sat there smiling)

N: okay so ur wounds.....r they still paining (touching his forehead)

Ma: ohhh no not at all.... m fine (smiling)...... nandini then brought a first aid box and changed his bandages wincing at the sight of his wounds.....she had just completed her specialization but still manik's wounds were enough to make her weak
Nandini then went to freshen up while manik lied down on his stomach closing his eyes.....

Dinning hall

Manik came to the hall and saw everyone seated on their seats chatting..manik moved closer to them and first went towards yash and said good morning to him.....yash kissed his forehead wished him morning......then manik sat besides nandini and dragged her plate closer to him....nandini looked at him in confusion and dragged her plate back on its original place....manik did the same again

N: this is mine plate......get ur own plate

Ma: I wanna eat with u in this plate..... (he said looking at her intently and nandini was speechless....she never knew he could demand sth so cute....She smiled at him while manik was busy in filling their plate with food items...after that manik moved fork stuffed with food items near nandini's mouth asking her to take a bite....nandini felt overwhelmed and her eyes welled up at the thought that what would have happened if her father wouldn't make her realize her mistake while everyone went aww on his cute gesture and yash prayed that they stay together forever ......none of them ever thought that manik could do sth as cute......then MANAN started eating their own food while cmnting about random things.....after breakfast yash asked manik about his health and then went away saying that he had some important work and he would come by noon....after that they would go back to Mumbai........

Lounge

Mu: so guys tell us the details of everything....

Carya(cabir and aryaman) : we had recorded everything for u guys... (smirking and then they high-fived)

Ma: wtf....when did u guys recorded it.....

C: oyee manik thje pta kese chalta after all u were so busy in ur romance (highlighting the word romance )

Soon they played the video and everyone gathered around mukti who was holding the phone and after the video ended manan was blushing bcz of their teasing but still everyone present in the hall was ready to admit that the video made them speechless.....the intensity of their emotions..it was sth which couldn't be expressed in words

After lunch everyone went for a power nap bcz after that they had to leave for Mumbai but yash called nandini in his room.....he was sitting on the sofa waiting for his dearest daughter when he heard the sound of door opening and he stood up from his place and welcomed her......he made her sit on the sofa and then sat besides her

Ya: mera bacha dad se naraz to nhi.....sorry bache I overreacted yesterday (entwining his fingers with hers)

N: dad plzz don't say sorry.....aap dad hai mere....aap kahe bhi kbhi bhi daant skte han mjhe aur haan agar KAL aap mjhe n.a. btate to mein aur manik sath n.a. hote......u r my hero dad (placing her head on his chest and he gently fixed her hair which were disturbing her)

Ma: mera achaw bacha (pecking her forehead )...... achaw nandini how is manik's behaviour

N: dad aap ne kha tha n.a. uske ilawa koi mera itna Khayal nhi rkh skta to aap ne bilkul theek kha tha....but u know what dad he is a little disturbed....I mean I dunno why but his eyes were showing his inner state.....he was insecure that i will go away.....and u know what dad (she said sitting face to face with her legs crossed) when I asked him to drink haldi wala doodh there was sudden change in his behaviour like he remembered sth unpleasant.......he became rude all of sudden and said that I will leave him again.......but after my little pampering he was very happy like very happy.......dad u r his father's frnd naa u must be knowing everything about his family.....where is his mother....he never said a word about her ever.....I mean I have heard him talking about his father but no he never ever said even a word mother....

Ya: bache u know he is not the type of person who will.tell u about his problems easily....so I don't know much about his and his mother relationship...in fact I had lost my contact after raj died..... I shouldn't have done that i know it but still i did it that time..........but 2 3 years after raj's death I came to know that his mother got married to harsh...he was our frnd also but later on I don't know what happened to him that harsh turned rude towards us........but one thing I know that my bacha will find a way to bring him out of his insecurities (kissing her knuckles).... U need to be patient and gain his trust then only he will tell u and only u can do it......

In plane

MANAN were sitting together....nandini was reading some novel while manik was busy in his own world with his hands free on and music playing on.........he had his eyes closed in pleasure....while remaining people (their frnds and nandini's dad) were also busy...yash was also doing some office work and the younger clan in pulling each others leg.........nandini was too engrossed in her book when she heard some humming of song.....she looked at manik to find him singing the song.......his voice it was so soothing and captivating that she literally forgot she was on climax of story....the only thing she wanted was him to keep singing.......she signalled others to stop speaking and listen to manik and fab 4 smiled after  hearing him singing the song......

C: after so many years manik sang a song (he whispered in mukti's ear)

Mu: and we know that he only sings when he is very happy

Meanwhile nandini pressed the recording button and it started recording.........after 3 4 minutes manik opened eyes feeling someone's eyes on him but as soon as he opened his eyes he got nervous seeing every single members eyes glued on him.......he wore his hoodie to avoid their gaze while everyone started doing their works as if nothing had happened after sensing his discomfort

N: manik u were so gud....why did u stop singing.....u should bcm singer

Manik looked at her for a minute or so causing her to sssshhh....after that he shifted his gaze towards his phone and got busy without even replying her.......nandini got her breath back.......manik's gaze scared her for a moment but then she was determined to find out the reason of his strange behaviour towards music too........unknowingly she slept thinking about manik and their problems......manik looked up after sometime to find few of them sleeping while others were busy in their own world........he leaned back on chair and that was the time nandini's head slipped from seat and rested on his shoulder.....he looked at her to find her sleeping cutely....he adjusted her in most comfortable position and kept patting her head to not disturb her sleep........nandini's words echoed in his mind that she wanted him to sing ........huhhhhh he let out a painful breath........a painful smile playing on his lips and he whispered I will never fulfil her wish.....she wanted me to bcm a singer but no I will never give her this peace by fulfilling her wish (at last his eyes got teary at his helplessness but he hid it expertly like every other time)

Malhotra mansion

A car entered the mansion and stopped right in front of door....nandini was still sleepy resting her head on manik's leg......manik gently shaked her to wake her up but she snuggled more in him.....

Ma: nandini yaar ghar agya hai....utho

N: ummmmmmm neend aye hue hai (she complained like a kid)

Manik without a delay of second came to conclusion that she wasn't going to get up so easily so he picked her up and proceeded towards the door.....the servant opened the door and manik proceeded towards the room with fast steps.....nandini looked at him and then at surrounding and mumbled in sleepy voice

N: hm Mumbai phnch gye (wrapping arms around his neck)

Ma: yeah hm ghar pe han

N: 5 years.....5 saal baad mein is ghar mein arhi......and those moments r still playing in my mind....ab to aisa nhi hoga na ....(with a glint of fear she climbed out of his grip)

Ma: I don't know...Mere life mein hmesha uncertain cheeze hi hue han (looking straight)

N: ab nhi hoga kbhi.......we luv eachother and we have realized how much we suffered by living away from each other......... (she was the one wanting assurity at that time but after hearing his reply she decided to forget her insecurities and help him)

Nandini then decided to see the whole mansion......every thing was so beautifully arranged and she couldn't stop herself from praising his gud taste.......at last they entered his room which was by then manan's room......as soon as she opened the door she had her eyes out of sockets to find out that every single wall of the room was adorned with her solo and  manan's pics which they took during their last trip 5 years ago........pictures of them sitting beside the pool...picture of them during football match........nandini had her mouth opened in surprise and manik said

Ma: tmhare absence mein in pics ke sath achaw time guzar jata tha.......

N: they r too many......it seems that u captured every single movement of mine

Ma: m happy i did that......zindagi guzarne ka 1 sahara to Mila naa mjhe.......in ki waja se zindagi khubsurat (beautiful) lgti thi.....(his voice held the pain of 5 years)

And without wasting time nandini turned around and hugged him tightly making him stumble a little.......nandini started crying and said I didn't know u luv me that much.....m so sorry

The duo ate the dinner together in the same plate and manik again fed her the first bite of his food b4 started eating.........after dinner they went to room and changed into comfortable tee and trouser and started watching tv holding each others hand......manik after sometime made himself comfortable in her lap and nandini ran her fingers in his smooth silky hair which she luved the most and in that position manik slept may be bcz of the peace he was getting.......nandini adored his handsome husband who was literally looking like a baby in sleep........she kissed the tip of his nose and then shifted his head on pillow gently.....she then turned off the lamps and slept hugging him......it was midnight when manik woke up panting and whispering her name nandini....... he wiped the layer of sweat from his forehead and looked at the sleeping nandini....he for the 100 times made himself believe that what he just saw a few minutes b4 was a dream nothing else......he quietly came out of room with lighter and a box of cigarettes......he went to the lawn and sat on the bench....looking at the stars he took a cigarette and burned the tip of it with a lighter......he puffed cigarette and looked at the sparkling stars with face void of expressions....

On the other hand nandini squirmed in sleep when she didn't find manik besides her......she got up from bed and checked him in the whole room...he wasn't there.....she then proceeded towards the lounge and checked him in dining area ,kitchen and everywhere but still no success.....her heartbeat quickened after not finding him at that late hour of night.......she decided to call him...she went into their room...picked up her mobile and called him but then cut it after finding his mobile on the side table......she again descended down praying for his safety when she got a glimpse of him ......he was in lawn .....ohh god...she wanted to yell at him for almost giving her heart attack by scaring her like that......she went to the lawn......manik was smoking oblivious of her presence.....she tapped his shoulder and manik hid cigarette immediately while turning towards her

Ma: tm yaha (panicked a little bcz of her sudden arrival)

N: kyon mein nhi a skti Kia....aur tm yahan Kia kar rhe ho (while cming to sit beside him....she noticed him hiding sth....she pulled his hand and found half cigarette

N: wow cigarette and all

Ma: I thought u would be angry (amazed at her cool behaviour)

N: no why would I do that....(she took hold of the cigarette and put it in her mouth to puff but manik pulled it back immediately shouting what r u doing.......this is not gud for ur health as soon as he said health wala part he realized it and looked away but nandini wasn't in a mood of letting him go

N: it isn't gud for me but it can't do any damage to u....right

Manik had no ans so he kept mum.......

N: Kia hua manik koi problem hai......u can share it with me but don't spoil ur health by doing this plzzz....u know how dangerous it is for ur health

N: do u smoke only in stress or for fun

Ma: m not a teenager nandini who would do it just for mere fun....I know it's bad but it gives me relief

N: u can share ur problems with me

Ma: I m addicted to it......Its not easy to quit it

N: but we can try at least.....plzzzzzzz (she said taking his hands in hers)

Ma: okay (smiling at her)

N: u know u r the best......I luv u (she said hugging him)

Ma: best aur mein (strange expressions).... ummmm no ye zayda hogya itna buttering ki zaroorat nhi

N: hawww u think m buttering......Yaar m serious (innocent face)

Ma: well then u r the 1st one who said that I m best (stressing on the word best)

N: bcz u r (and manik remained quite still believing that she was just saying it out of courtesy and nothing else)
