Manik entered the room and held the door open for nandini to enter....as soon as she entered he closed the door...he removed his jacket and turned towards the bed to find nandini sitting there holding tray....he went towards her and sat beside her having a constt smile on his face.....he looked at her intently absorbing her features....the urge to kiss her arose in his mind and he leaned closer to her cheek but nandini sensed it and held the glass in front of her face as in shielding her face from that glass.....manik looked at her and found her looking at him already with a smiling face......manik gestured her to move it but she said

N: nhi phle ye pe lo (forwarding the glass)

Ma: nhi peena mene ye (he made a face)

N: manik yaar Kia hua hai....bacho ki trah zid n.a. karo (she turned her face completely to see his face)

Ma: nhi peena mene yaar (he replied sternly as the scene of her mother running after him to make him drink milk came in front of his eyes.......he lied down on bed in half sitting position to hide his emotions from her) aur agar tm na bhi karo ye sab to it's completely fine with me....mjhe adat hai....Mere wounds haldi wala doodh ke bghar hi theek hojate.... (his mood was spoiled as he was fighting with his inner turmoil.....he got up from the bed but nandini didn't  let him walk away by grabbing his hand and said

N: adat nhi to adat daal lo (she said lovingly)

Ma: well nandini adat daal ln but after sometime u will get tired of the spoiled man like me..... u will leave me again then who will take care of me like this by giving me haldi wala doodh (he wanted assurance....he was insecure)

N: nhi jao ge tmhe chor ke.....kbhi nhi (she pulled him again and he fell on bed)

Ma: phle bhi chor ke chale gye thi.....Nhi suni thi koi baat mere (hurt )

Nandini came on top of him and said

N: phle i didn't know how much I luv u.... (she whispered)

Ma: luv (not expecting this from her)

N: yeah luv.....I luv u so so much (and she fused their lips.......nandini was sucking his Lower lip while expecting him to do the same but he was stunned at her bold step......nandini kept doing her work while manik lied there helpless unable to react....he came out of shock when nandini bit his Lower lip....he parted his lips gasping giving her the much needed space to enter her tongue in his mouth...devouring his mouth greedily   (🙈🙈🙈ewww mjhe Sharam arhi hai guys )....... after few seconds manik gave up and started responding....nandini smirked in b/w the kiss and kissed him with more passion.....she pulled him more closer pulling him by his hair....manik had enough of this dominance and he rolled over to switch their positions.....nandini was under him....he grabbed her hands and pinned them above her head while kissing her passionately yet with luv and care.......after spending a gud time to kiss they both parted away panting....... manik was by then lying beside her with their fingers entwined....both were taking deep breaths and after some time they both turned their faces to eachother and said

I luv u

The duo started laughing at their timing.....he rolled over to lie on his right side.....he looked at nandini and then said tucking her hair strand behind her ear.....he spoke

Ma: I was so rude (he said in low tone ashamed of his words)

N: no u weren't...stop thinking about that (caressing his wound).... u were right at ur place....I shouldn't have left u like this.....but u know what nothing like this will happen in future......manik in future if we fight...we will solve it by talking about the problem rather than walking away....... enough of the separation drama.....

Ma: hmmmmm

N: achaw now drink it plzzzzzz(she pleaded innocently and manik forwarded his hand to take the glass but nandini jerked his hand lightly and gestured him to drink from her hands.........she had observed that something was bothering him.....stopping him from enjoying the moment properly......like he had the fear of sth.....fear of her going away......so she wanted to remove his fears by showing immense luv and care)......... manik drank it and smooched her cheek lovingly........nandini then went to washroom to change her clothes while manik left the room saying that he had some work and he would return soon.........nandini came out of washroom dressed in comfortable tee and trouser....she was wandering here and there thinking about manik......his sudden change in behavior when she mentioned about milk as if he remembered sth unpleasant....and then his words were showing that he wanted luv.....like he was away from care and luv from years..... May be he miss his parents..... wait but only his father were murdered in that party....where is his mother.....is she no more??? I will ask dad about it.......I can't see him like this.....today I have seen hurt in his eyes..... I can't see him like this..... she was engrossed in her thoughts while she made her way to balcony....she rested her arms on railing and looked at the garden waiting for manik.....she was scanning the whole area when she found a silhouette.....she leaned more on railing to find out who he was......but when she found out she had her one hand covering her mouth and she stepped back from railing...... the silhouette was of manik who was smoking

N: so it was his important work...(a little hurt)....he started smoking too.....wth is he doing....(she wanted to shout his name from balcony to stop him but then she controlled it thinking that she would talk to him about this matter later on) she kept looking at him who was smoking one cigarette after the other.......he smoked 3 cigarettes and after completing his work then turned to come back to room....nandini hid herself behind the pillar and then saw him walking out of garden...it was manik's  daily routine to smoke cigarette b4 going to sleep..... nandini lied down on bed silently thinking about manik.......she had a lot of work to do to make him quit all the bad habits....To make him a perfect man for her future kids......she heard sound of click and immediately closed her eyes pretending to sleep...manik looked at her and then pulled quilt over her...he stroked her cheek  and kept staring at her and then went to washroom without making any sound...... nandini opened her eyes sighing.....his gesture no more made her happy...her mind was clouded with so many thoughts......he was spoiling his health.....manik after sometime came out of washroom and lied beside her.....he was staring straight on roof and their reunion scenes were playing in his mind......he was wondering about all this.....he never thought that after all that they would be together.......but they were in the same room lying on the same bed....so close to eachother.....his heart filled with happiness.....he brought his head high to see nandini.....and then encircled his hand on her petite figure....back hugging her and pulled her closer to himself so that her back was touching his front....he relaxed feeling her presence.....he closed his eyes in contentment while resting his head on the crook of her neck.....they remained in this position but nandini was still restless so she rolled over so they were lying face to face........manik opened his eyes widely in amazement as he thought that she was asleep but no she wasn't.......

Ma: u were sleeping.....did I wake u up....

N: no it's not like that.....I was awake

Ma: then why were u pretending to sleep......u were acting from past half an hour..... (he narrowed his eyebrows in fake anger)

N: I wanted to check ur reaction ......ummmm u covered me with quilt....how cute (she pretended to act normal bcz she didn't want to ruin everything by rushing)

Ma: hmmmm wo to aise hi.....it's not sth extraordinary (he felt shy.....he wasn't use to praising and all......those 3 worst years of his life broke him so badly....broke his self confidence that even after so many years he wasn't over it.......he always thought that he could never do sth gud and that was the reason whenever someone praised him he always acted awkward........)

N: mere liye it was more than extraordinary........u made me feel so special (she kissed his cheek and manik smiled while playing with her hair strands......she was resting her head on his chest.....they stayed mumm just enjoying the moment.....nandini rose her head up placing her chin on his chest and said

N: u wanna say sth to me......as in is there anything u haven't told me yet (she enquired raising her eyebrow)

Manik panicked for a moment but immediately covered it and said

Ma: Abhi sote han naa...Mjhe neend arhi ye apni investigation tm subha kar Lena (closing his eyes while wrapping arms around her and nandini sighed looking at him......he wasn't going to tell her that easily she knew that)......she was looking at him when manik said

Ma: stop glaring at me and sleep (patting her head affectionately)......

She looked at him and sighed he was perfect man for her but what about his health...... their was a big question mark
