Manik blinked his eyes multiple times b4 finally opening his eyes tiredly..........he took a good minute to comprehend his surroundings and he sighed frowning as he realized nandini wasnt there

Kia karo mein is larki ka he clearly didnt like her absence in that early morning time that too on the very first day of him back in home.....removing quilt he got up and took steps to washroom thinking to deal with her later but nandini herself entered the lion's den.....he stopped and turned around to look at her who was glowing and looking fresh like a flower

Good morning she chirped and went to make bed and manik just stared at her intently from a distance......he took steps towards her forgetting he was angry at her..........at that time he just wanted to look at his beautiful wife

Idhar ao mere paas he raised his hand in air for her to grab and she smilingly held his hand

Khan thi tm securing his hands around her waist he asked pulling her closer

Downstairs she said trying not to make it evident that she was hiding sth from him.....she actually went to meet nyonika to console her as she knew how difficult it must be for her to not meet her only son

Poch skta hn ke shohar se zayda konse imp cheez thi jiske liye mjhe chor ke gye tm he gripped her chin with his forefinger and thumb raising her face

Ab to agye hn na mein she fidgeted with his shirt trying to divert his mind which he knew very well

Achaw he mumbled pulling her more closer and nandini gasped as her head striked with his shoulder

U look beautiful he whispered as he looked at her dolled up in floral jumpsuit.....fusing his lips with her forehead he kissed her making her feel blessed.....she inclined more to him and he smiled engulfing her in his arms

After getting freshenup manik went downstairs....he was planning to go straight to dining hall but then he saw a room door ajar.....the same room he was suspicious about someone's presence there....driven by curiosity he took steps towards the room...he pushed the door to find the bed sheet done neatly and everything was at its place but still it didnt make him satisfied.....he took a step inside and nandini who came out to call him saw him going into nyonika's room and she called him panicking

Manikkkk she shrieked in loud tone making him startle at the sudden shout

Kia hai he asked irritated as he found out she was all okay then why did she shout

Breakfast ready hai babes she said in sugarcoated tone

Chalo breakfast karte haina....m very hungry she said taking long strides to reach him and encircled hand around his bicep who was just observing her every move

Dimagh theek haina tmhara he taunted knocking her scalp and she made a puppy face I was just excited for our first breakfast back in home....

They both went to dining hall and all manik could see was bread omelette and spreads

Is this all for breakfast he asked amazed as he thought that their would be a vast breakfast menu considering nandini's excitement

Yeah.....we should be grateful for everything we have she sipped juice from glass and said to remove any excuse of him complaining and manik stared at her for sometime but then sat down shaking his head......she was unpredictable!!!!

Manan along with dhruliya were sitting in lounge and sipping juice when the door went ajar and cabir entered with aryaman following him..........manik smirked seeing them together as he had been seeing cabir with them (after all he wanted to be in navya's brother's good books)

Ahmm ahmmmm manik cleared his throat in a meaningful way when cabir came to greet manik.......cabir punched manik on his back gritting his teeth chup kar bgharat he murmured in manik's ear tightening his grip around manik as if squeezing him and he groaned pushing cabir back

Dont forget she also considers me as her brother he had a dirty smirk on his face I wont approve a person like u as her husband he patted cabir's cheeks teasingly who made a helpless face aisa na kare....bare mushkil se maani hai he pleaded and others just wanted to know what was cooking

Will think about it he said with great attitude as he sat back on sofa and cabir just wanted to punch him hard on his face

Tm dono ka hogya mukti the curious one asked rolling her eyes

Haan ise phle bta do cabir said in irritated tone as he dropped himself on sofa

Bhabhi aap kismein interest le rhi.....chore ise navya taunted and manik's face turned red in order to stifle his laughter.......he conveyed cabir thru his eyes that he was definitely gonna need manik if he wanted to be with navya

The whole day they spent playing cards and eating like hungry animals while on other side girls just spent their whole day in kitchen making food for the hungry creatures present in lounge

Yaar kitna khate hai ye.....insaano ki category mein ate hi nhi ye mukti slammed plates on counter......bs bht hogya now we r gonna sit and they will serve us she said striding towards the lounge and they all followed the suite sighing in relief

Chalo get up....now u guys will serve us and we will sit like u mukti said in bossy tone and the lounge which was echoing with loud noises and their laughter had pin drop silence

Lady bheem ab Kia Hua cabir asked resting his head back on sofa....

Cabir zinda nhi bacho ge mere hatho agar ab tmne mjhe is naam se bulaya she threw pillows at him who laughed at her

Oye insaan bn abhi said glaring at cabir who went timid all of sudden

Manik listen u will take proper rest nandini said hurrying as she was running around the room getting ready to go to hospital......she wasn't able to do well and thanks to her seniors who considered her position and gave her leave from hospital to take care of manik

Haan dont worry......tm bs tension free hoke jao hospital he said as he pulled her to sit on bed where breakfast was waiting for them......he took a piece of bread and omelette in fork and fed to her who chewed with her face glowing cuz of happiness....she relaxed herself on bed and ate bread..with other hand she took glass of juice from manik who poured it for her and he pinched her stuffed mouth cute potato

Dont roam around much she gave another advice who half heartedly nodded his head as he had no plan of taking rest....he was tired of staying at home

Okay......ab jao tm he gave her stethoscope and hand bag waving at her.....as she went away manik sighed and went to wardrobe to pick some dress for himself......he was planning to visit office....as he came downstairs after half an hour to finally pay a visit to his office but in hallway marry stopped him

Manik where r u going she asked coming infront of him and he just smiled but didnt say anything

Nandini told me to take care of u as u r gonna stay at home she said rubbing his arm affectionately

Bs ghar mein bore horha tha...jaldi hi wapis ajao ga he smiled widely at her concern and she bade bye to him after blessing him with lot of prayers

Reaching office he called for an emergency meeting to get latest updates about their projects......though his one leg was still covered with plaster and a brace for his forearm but still he was roaming around more actively than healthy individuals......

Yash visited manik's factory as he had a habit of handling manik's business in his illness......he took a whole round meanwhile getting updates about the process of different projects.....shaking hands with project manager he was about to leave when manager told him about manik's presence in the office and that he was busy in meeting......the news felt so pleasing to yash as finally his children were getting back to routine and he wanted nothing more than that.....he went towards manik's office planning to meet him

One by one his employees gave briefings about projects they were working upon and the meeting ended after 3 hours......as they all left the meeting room manik stretched on chair getting extremely tired....nonetheless he got up knowing he had other work too and walked thru the corridor to go to his room when he got Nandini's call who came from hospital in lunch break to check on manik but he wasnt there.....fuming she called him and he wanted to cut the call but knowing it would make her more angry he just picked it up

Where the hell r u manik she screamed from other side of phone and manik moved his phone away to protect his ear from her piercing voice

Araam se nandini....sun skta hn mein he said rubbing his ear

U know how angry I m right now she said and manik nodded his head like a good boy

I can guess he murmured

U know what do whatever u want to do but dont come home she said in angry tone and manik smiled at her words....he knew she was concerned and that's why she was speaking like that

Ok calm down m okay he said in gentle tone as he pushed the door open by his foot and a pleasant smile appeared on his face seeing yash infront of him...he hugged yash all the while listening to Nandini's rant

Listen he whispered in mischievous tone as he put the phone on speaker and from the other side Nandini's irritated tone appeared

Why dont u take care of urself.....tmhe kisi ka khayal nhi.....here I m stressing for ur health but on the other side u give a damn about everything her voice went slow but still it had anger and manik shrugged as he saw yash looking at him with questioning eyes

Tm sun bhi rhe ho mere baat she screamed again and yash raised his eyebrow in amazement....never had he seen nandini so angry and it startled manik also who got embarrassed infront of yash

Haan sun rha hn.....nandini I can take care of myself....stop panicking he tried to make her understand

Let it be....mein dad ke ghar ja rhi hn she announced making him flustered but then seeing yash his eyes shone with mischief

But dad doesnt want u to be there at his place he rubbed the angle of his mouth as he smiled brightly

Daddddd!!! Aap bhi iska sath de rhe she sounded hurt and yash got alert at her sudden change in tone

Nhi mera bacha he coeed her and manik made a face as yash spoiled all the fun but yash just glared at him in return

He doesn't listen to me she complained and yash twisted manik's ear mein pochta hn isse....kyon tang karta hai meri beti ko he twisted more making him squeal

Owwww dad he complained rubbing his red ear and nandini smiled on the other side of phone hearing his squeal

I love u dad her voice sounded more like a tease to manik

Now do ur lunch , dw me and manik will eat our meal here he comforted nandini who gladly shut the phone and later manik and yash had a great meal

At night manik came home all tired as it took more time in office than he expected......he entered into room removing tie from one hand and nandini raised her head....getting up she took his tie and watch though she was still angry at him but seeing him tired she thought to do the fight some other time

Dinner Lao she asked but manik just shook his head as he slowly moved towards bed....his leg had started hurting but he didnt want to make it evident knowing nandini would start panicking......he sat on bed resting his head on headboard with his fractured leg hanging from the bed

Paani she said forwarding him a glass of water and he smiled at her b4 taking it from her hand

Thnku he drank whole glass of water and placed it on side table....closing his eyes he made himself comfortable on bed and nandini sat beside him.....ruffling his hair she looked at his tired figure bht thak gye ho she asked in concerned tone and manik opened his eyes for a brief moment and took her hand in his hand...connecting it to his lips he murmured bht kaam tha

Okay dont sleep like this....m bringing food till then can u go to washroom and freshenup or should I help she asked in concerned tone

Ohooo it's not that worse he said in assuring tone and nandini went away while manik took steps to washroom limping......after few minutes she came with a tray and manik's eyes lit seeing fish and pasta in dinner.....he took mouthful of pasta chewing it and savored the taste of pasta

Yumm he said approving of the dish while nandini just scanned his leg....she could see his foot swelling.....elevating his leg by putting pillows underneath it she started giving ice therapy to his plastered leg with him enjoying the meal

Did u cook he asked and nandini who was worried considering the situation glared at him angrily

Yes after talking to u my mood became so good that I thought to cook she taunted and manik laughed out loud at her statement

Sojao ab she said picking tray from bed and he lied down on bed....nandini adjusted duvet tucking him in like a baby and his sleepy eyes turned shiny admiring her taking care of him....nandini then moved to other side of bed after switching off the lights but turning on the side lamp as she wanted to read book

U ain't gonna sleep manik asked looking at her who had just started reading and nandini nodded not in a mood yet

Manik on listening to her took less than a minute to shift his head on her lap......taking book from her hands he placed it on table and then placed her hands on his head

Make me sleep he murmured in sleepy tone and nandini smiled as she messaged the pressure points to make him feel relax and then switching with roaming her fingers in his hair which although weren't same but still it was manik's hairs which she loved the most....he dozed off while talking to her and nandini smiled as she heard his shallow breath.....shifting his head on pillow she too slid under the duvet and carefully placed her hand on his shoulder and scanned his innocent face....raising her head a little she kissed his cheek wishing him good bye and slept
