Gud morning manik whispered in her ear groggily as he kissed her cheek.....nandini stirred in sleep and opened her eyes partially to look at his handsome early morning face......pushing his face a little away to create space for her head....she rested her head on his chest and took a long relaxing breath shutting her eyes to sleep again while manik smiled and wrapped her arm around her.......

Not in a mood to get up he said stroking her cheeks as he moved hairs away from her pretty face

I want to sleep in tired+crying tone as she smacked his chest u didnt let me sleep

But u wanted to watch the movie he wanted to say that but couldn't as she knew not to mess with the wife when she is angry or sleepy

Take a day off and sleep getting up from bed he adjusted blanket over her and patted her head and nandini wanted that only from him....without any further thought she drifted to sleep while manik went to freshen up and change his clothes......after changing his clothes he came closer to bed and picked up her phone....turning her phone off so that none could disturb her sleep and after proximating the curtains he went out of room after bidding gud bye in form of a sweet peck on her head.....

He was working when aliya's name on phone screen gained his attention....loosening his tie a bit he grabbed his phone and swiped the green button answering call

What were u saying he asked as he looked at her who was fidgeting with her fingers now remembering every word she said to tease him

No nothing she mouthed nervously and a smirk formed on his lips

Hmmm nothing he raised his eyebrow as he took tray from her and placed it on counter while his other hand pressed on her back jerking her towards him....she gasped in result

I take interest in other girls frowning he asked scaring nandini of his expressions

No she shook her head like a kid and manik pressed his thumb at the edge of his lips to stop himself from smiling looking at her scared expressions

I was just joking....u r an amazing husband she passed him a cute smile but it didnt help in softening his expressions

How's my baby he asked placing a hand on her stomach baby is happy she said and placing a hand around her shoulder manik walked out of kitchen chatting and teasing eachother...looking at the couple their frnds hooted which made nandini blush as she tried to get out of his grip but he stayed unaffected instead pulled her more closer

Manik she pinched his fingers causing him to loose his grip and she hurriedly sat on sofa not giving him a chance to show his PDA again but manik being manik sat closer to her on a sofa and his frnds muffled their laughter seeing irritated nandini and majnu manik

So manik how does it feels navya asked adoring the couple

Umm gud he said as his face beamed with happiness not even gud it feels amazing..I feel like out of the world.... I feel like all the sorrows has come to an end he said with utmost happiness which could be seen on his face....

He literally had tears in his eyes after getting the news.....I have never seen him such emotional cabir added and manik just smiled lowering his head while everyone went aww on him...sheepishly he scratched his head while nandini just eyed her man with adoration and love for him....

Chocolate forwarding the chocolate bar he said giving her toothy smile......glaring at him she grabbed the bar unable to resist the craving of sth sweet.....she started feasting on it while manik smiled at her sighing in relief

Ohhh I thought u r angry...thnk God u r not he pulled her puffy cheeks and nandini gave him a deadly glare

I still am she growled slapping his hands away ur work must be pending....go do it she said sarcastically thinking that his work was more important for him than her happiness....he was about to say sth but dropped the idea knowing that she wasnt in a mood to listen....he got up from there and after ordering coffee for himself juice for nandini and some snacks for both of them he grabbed his laptop and started working......after sometime nandini got up after hearing knock on door...grabbing the trolley she closed the door and arranged everything on table and picking up her glass of juice she went into balcony a sign of her anger while manik smiled at her....though she was angry she still didnt forget to set everything for him.....placing a pattie and doughnut with some cookies in a plate he went to balcony and placed the plate on swing beside nandini

Have some... he said pressing her little nose to which she huffed in anger while he went away chuckling....their day went like that with manik constantly working on his laptop while nandini spent the whole time on a swing with she getting more sad as she thought of spending some gud time with manik but there they were not even sitting in 1 room......she was even getting angry at herself for acting like that....the orangish yellow light was soon masked by the black cover with stars sparkling brightly on it.......feeling cold she got up trying to push tears back as she didnt want him to notice it ......she pressed tissue paper on her eyes 1 last time b4 stepping into the room to see him all focussed on his work.....he didnt even raised his head to look at her and that made her more angry plus sad....smacking her cell phone on side table hard she sat on bed and the noise made manik look at her....he smiled at her as he removed his specs and stretched himself b4 moving back to his work and nandini just pressed her lips tighter to prevent a word from escaping her mouth

Done he said loudly as he shut the laptop and placed it besides him.....rubbing his eyes he looked at nandini to find her so engrossed in drawing patterns on bed sheet.....sensing that she was bored he mentally scolded himself for being so busy in his work and ignoring his wife

Let's go for dinner nandini he said in cheerful tone thinking to make it up for her

M not hungry she stated in simple tone with expressionless face as she laid down on bed covering herself till her head with the duvet......informing the servant that they would eat dinner in their room he went towards the bed

I just told u that I dont wanna have dinner.....what's so wrong in it she asked snapping her head at his direction angrily

Nandini he called but had to stop words from coming out of his mouth after hearing the knock on door.....the servant entered and started arranging the table while manik waited patiently for him to leave

Khane se to ghussa nhi hona....khana to kha lo his calm tone was back again as he made a plate for them......nandini raised herself a little more with the help of pillows and found his cheeky smile as he had only 1 plate in his hand meaning that he wanted them to share

Seriously she got irked at his casual behaviour aka romantic one and moreover he didnt even apologise to her.....pulling the duvet over herself more she tried to laid down when she saw him moving closer he said loudly

The whole day I was thinking of how we will enjoy in the evening.....u have no time for me she hiccuped

Mjhe sometimes raat ko neend nhi ati when the thought cross my mind that I couldn't save my own baby...the doctor's words still ring in my ears he whispered yelled ashamed of ruining everything for her

M sorry.... he said and nandini was just speechless....she didnt know about that.....they didnt talk about how it affected manik.......she felt so low for not asking him about how he was feeling just because she is scared to surface that thing up again drowning them in pool of sadness

It had to happen....it wasn't ur fault she said in low calm tone hoping he wouldn't blame himself although she herself was feeling stabbing pain as the thought of their baby crossed her mind....the baby who died b4 even getting to live....they would never be able to erase that nightmare out of their lives

When a person calls u it means he needs u to be there....my ego costed me my child he said fisting his right hand angry at himself.....nandini could see pain flickering in his eyes......he sighed loudly taking everything back in himself while nandini just looked at the ground with numb mind....she didnt know how to remove him from that guilt.....within few seconds the bed sank under her weight as she sat beside him and hugged him.....running her fingers in his hair which were spread all over his neck she tried to comfort him without any single word escaping from her mouth.....no edplainations no hopes just that hug which made him feel relax.....he also wrapped his arms around her pulling her closer and after sometime she parted and palmed his face....rubbing her thumbs over his stubble making him smile....removing one hand from his face she took hold of his hand and placed it on her stomach

Our baby she whispered as her eyes twinkled with tears and he nodded as he roamed his hand on her belly yes our baby

After dinner they both were sitting in car as nandini wanted to drink soup and manik couldn't deny her wish so they were going to drink some soup......

Manik she said breaking the silence in car

They were enjoying their time while feasting on chicken corn soup when Nandini's eyes fell on a mother and son who were busy in enjoying each other's presence.....the mother cut the cake and fed it to his son who took cream on his finger b4 smearing it on her cheeks and nose.....she stopped drinking the soup and was just staring at them and when they hugged eachother nandini wished to have that relationship with his son and at the same time she missed her mother....she didn't know how motherly love feels.....feeling her distracted manik his eyes followed her gaze

Manik aren't they so cute she said with adoration in her eyes

Now I miss mom she pouted as her eyes filled with sadness and manik felt bad for her......he placed his hand on hers and caressed it

Life is very cruel nandini....it doesnt bless anyone completely....I know u r missing her but she is in much better place and she wants her girl to smile he stretched her lips with the help of his fingers and she smiled faintly

U know what...promising u today he took her hand to his heart I will train my baby boy to celebrate ur birthdays like this he said and nandini smiled as her face beamed with happiness.....scooting closer she gestured him to lower his head as she whispered coconut yaar ! I love u she blew a kiss at him

Manik tm miss karte ho apni mom ko she asked the question after sometime and he stilled for a moment or so.....he glanced at her but then shifted his gaze towards the bowl of soup

Ur mum is alive and dont u want to spend time with her she pushed him to answer and manik's grip on spoon tightened and for a moment his face went red at her question but the next moment he was normal

No his voice was as normal as before she has her own family and I have u....he said and nandini couldn't guess his state of mind by that sentence....

What if someday she comes to u and say that she wants to live with u...will u allow her to live with u she asked and manik raised his eyebrow at her
