Nandini startled seeing prerna lying on ICU bed.......she was on round and was intended to see the condition of patient who was brought to emergency the previous day.......she turned her head and asked from the nurse who was there to accompany her

Her breath got stuck in her throat as she remembered her oath taking ceremony...her determination to save a human life and what was she going to do.....leaving her alone to die when a person needed her care......her legs automatically moved towards prerna's room but she like a robot did the whole procedure from asking her about pain and various symptoms associated with it....she discussed her diet plan and checked the medicines....checking her wounds and asking several questions along with giving her hope that she would be okay....but in all that process her bright smile was missing from her face......

Nandini prerna called nandini in her feeble tone as soon as the nurse left and nandini who was about to leave stopped in her place and taking a deep breath to calm her down she turned around and asked in professional tone
