Stopping the car at parking area manik dialled nandini's number.....he was there at hospital to pick her after a long shift and minutes later he saw nandini coming out of entrance with a tired figure.......her hair tied in a bun with her lab coat on one arm and other belongings in other as she tiredly walked towards the car

Manik extended his hand and opened the back door of car while seated as he saw her approaching the car.....nandini threw everything on backseat and opened the front door throwing herself on seat

Hello manik said with a smile

Hi she replied with worn out face and placed her head on headrest

Tired manik asked reversing the car as he turned his head to look at her for a brief moment

Yes very she murmured burying herself more in seat and manik caressed her hair a bit

We'll be home in no time he encouraged her to pass the little time till they reach home and then she would be able to relax as much as she want

I missed u manik gave her a flying kiss making her smile widely as she extended his hand and placed it above his hand.......manik flipped their hands and gently pressed her hand

Sleep he whispered and nandini yawned as she sat in fetus position in seat and closed her eyes

Such a baby u r manik coeed feeling surge of love for her.....getting no answer manik turned his head to look at her and found her already sleeping....he increased the speed and after sometime they were infront of malhotra mansion......he honked the car and moments later the gate opened and manik parked the car.....opening the door of nandini's side he picked her up in bridal style and proceeded towards the door where a servant was already waiting for them to open the door

Welcome home marry welcomed in sweet tone only to be stopped in mid sentence by manik who signalled her to stay silent as nandini was sleeping......he strode towards the stairs and then entered his room.....placing her on bed he supported her weight by hugging her close to him and then pulled the pony to free her hair from bun letting hair fall on her shoulders......he then made her lie down on bed and removed her joggers.....pulling the duvet above her he stood straight and a smile appeared on his face looking at her innocence......he again bent down and kissed her forehead

Moving away he turned off the lights and also switched her mobile phone b4 placing it beside her

Sleep tight baby he whispered as he approached the door and then closed it careful to not make noise.....in lounge he encountered marry who was waiting for him

Lunch is ready....should I ask them to arrange the table marry asked and manik stopped as he laid hand on her shoulder gently

No thank you marry I have a meeting I will be going back.....and yeah dont disturb nandini she was very tired and slept as soon as she sat in car.......dont bother her for anything she will eat when she would get up manik said and marry nodded

Bye manik said and went out of house where car was ready for him.....the driver handed him the keys and in no time he was on road driving towards the restaurant where he had to meet a delegation

Parking car in parking lot manik grabbed his car keys and wallet and stepped out of it.......he was walking towards the entrance when he flexed his head to look at time thru the watch....he was 15 minutes early and this made him relax as he hated not being on time....he would rather wait for sometime than rushing and stressing over getting late............standing infront of lift he pressed the button and waited for it to come........he looked around to find no one and shrugged as the lift alarm ringed to notify him that lift was there......shifting his wallet and keys to other hand manik lifted his leg to step into the lift.......he just took a step or two into the lift when he felt a sudden push from back making him raise his hands to take support from lift wall as he collided with it.........he wanted to turn his head to look at the source of push but he felt a man putting all his weight on him and putting a gun on manik's back

He sucked in a sharp breath as he felt gun on his back

Kon ho tm he muttered but was cut off by the man harshly

Chup the man muttered in harsh tone shutting manik who turned his head back to face the lift wall

What do u want manik asked again as he heard him clicking buttons of lift.....he felt like he wouldn't be lucky enough to survive the attack.......he would die when he was too near to find his share of happiness and would nandini be able to find him??? What will she do??? What about his mother.....he felt like he did wrong by pushing her away

Dont make noise he pressed the muzzle more into manik's skin making him take a deep breath

Take whatever u want....just let me go he would trade anything to live with his loved ones

Shut up he punched his fist on manik's face which hit the wall in result making him groan in pain

Silence fell over and nervousness grew in manik's mind for what was about to come.....he was busy thinking when he felt tug chalo chup chaap the person behind him whispered in manik's ear and manik had no choice but to follow his commands.....the man guided him and seconds later they were in a room....shutting the door the person dialled a number Haan kaam hogya.....cameras on kar do he said and cut the call while manik just stared at him in shock not knowing what to do....the man casually went and sat on chair as he glanced at manik who stood there waiting for what was about to come

Have a seat the person said gently and manik was shocked at the sudden change of tone

Ohhh yes btw m mohan Singh he extended his hand as if they were very good friends

Laye kyon ho yahan mjhe manik increased his tone in irritation

Betho betho araam se sb btata hn he got up and went to mini fridge and pulled water bottle from there and manik scanned everything to search out for the possible escapes but it seemed difficult as the door was locked and though the man was old but with a good muscle mass and it wasn't easy to overpower him to get card to unlock the door so he quietly went to sit on chair

Water mohan placed water glass in front of manik who just raised his eyebrow at him at his sudden change in behaviour

Madad kar skta hn tmhare baap ke qatil tak phnchne mein mohan's serious voice appeared in room and manik made a face knitting his eyebrows as he lifted his head to look at mohan's face

Ye sb Kia tha he asked wanting to know why he had to make it a big scene by bringing gun in between

Ohhh ye mohan laughed as if it was a joke making manik purse his lips tight u weren't ready to come on ur own and I had to find a way to meet u he said casually and manik nodded still eyeing him angrily

Okay manik said taking it as another person trying to withdraw some money from him using his father's murder card

Aur tm aisa Kyon karo ge manik asked raising his eyebrow

Cuz 1 hi insaan ne hmare zindagi kharab ki hai sudden rage filled mohan's eyes as he stared at manik with his fingers tangled together

So u want to shoot using my shoulder....u want revenge manik scratched his beard getting up ohhhkkaay he turned around nodding his head as he pondered over sth............with a swift move he punched his fist into mohan's nose giving him a hard blow.......

This is for punching me in lift manik said and mohan looked at him with angry eyes and his hand travelled to pick the gun placed on table but manik was quick enough to snatch it and backed off pointing it at him.........mohan got up and jumped on manik making both of them fall on ground but manik kicked him pushing him away

U really thought I m dumb enough to fight for ur cause manik minced every word with anger in his voice

Dont believe me but what if ur mother said the same thing as m saying mohan smirked and manik who was taking back steps towards the door stopped at his words and looked at him

Shut up manik growled u r lying he shouted as his face turned red

Ask ur mother who is mohan singh he had confidence in his voice as he tried to get up from floor.......manik just paid no heed and continued his way to door.......

U can always come if u need answers mohan smirked knowing he would definitely come to find about his dad's murderer

The rest of day manik spent with the strange feeling not knowing how to react.....what to do next.......with confused mind he came home for his stressbuster moving around the house, lighting up everything around , she would surely make him forget everything but as he entered into his room he witnessed nandini still on bed sleeping

Ughhh she is still sleeping he groaned in distaste looking at her

Get up nandini he called her name loudly to wake her up but she still kept sleeping which made manik frown

Get up he stressed on the words meanwhile pulling her hands to make her sit straight

Kia hai she yawned resting her head on his shoulder

Utho yaar manik shaked her again tmhara shohar thakka hua ghar aya hai aur tm so rhi ho he said and nandini just stretched as she cried

Manik mjhe sona hai she was about to fall on mattress again when manik pulled her from her arm nhi.....give me company nandini yawned still dreaming of getting some extra sleep......nandini sleepily rested her head on headboard knowing his habit of not disturbing her but seemed like this was a different day

Nandini mene subha se kuch nhi khaya yaar...abhi bhi tm aise kar rhi ho....fine soti rho his loud irritated voice appeared making nandini aware of his level of hunger.....he pulled out hanger from wardrobe and angrily stormed towards the washroom.....on the other hand nandini's sleep went away as she heard his annoyed voice.......grabbing the catcher from side table she tied her hair with it......putting her slippers on she hurriedly went out of room to bring dinner for her husband who was already very irritated....she didnt want to mess up with him that too when he was hungry.....she arranged the trolley and walked towards their bedroom...entering into room she arranged their plates on table and started waiting for manik who appeared after sometime rubbing his hair with towel.....he glanced a look at her who was already looking at him with awaiting eyes.......manik turned his gaze to other side ignoring her as he went towards dressing table and started combing his hair taking his sweet time to comb , deliberately ignoring her to show his anger

Manik ajao nandini called

Ab bhook nhi mjhe manik showed attitude.....nandini rolled her eyes at the drama queen but her stomach growled making her aware to not delay further

Pakki baat hai she asked uncovering the dish phle btate mein wait na karte she said to irritate him further and manik turned around at her treatment and glared at her who looked at him to find his eyebrows knitted together as he fixed his eyes on her

I feel sorry for myself he said as he shaked his head on finding such wife who didnt care for him and nandini laughed out loud at his statement.....

Ha ha ha bht funny tha manik's irritated voice appeared as he walked towards the table making her laugh more.......he scanned the table and found her plate filled as she was ready to dig in......he smiled inwardly and towered above her passing her a smile which made her look at him with wondering eyes what was he upto a question arose in her mind but manik pecked her forehead making her smile and her suspicious eyes smiled too thnku he whispered as he picked her plate and went to sit on bed while nandini who was lost in the sweet feeling came to present and saw him smirking

Manikkkk she said furrowing her eyebrows

Told u I m hungry he shrugged her shoulder making it appear as it was her fault.....she glared at him but on seeing him unbothered she just slammed the fork and spoon on table and dished out her food

So romantic she murmured in irritated tone as she dreamt of a romantic dinner after being away for him for 2 days

Did u say sth manik asked as he saw her lips moving but didnt get what she was saying and nandini just rolled her eyes at him not giving him an answer but it made manik laugh out loud

Ohhh my god what was that he teased her still laughing out loud while nandini looked embarrassed by now

Ok enough...it wasn't even funny she said and manik just got up and walked towards her.....pulling her cheeks he placed his plate on table and then pulled a chair for him

U r getting chubby day by day he remarked as he sat on chair and nandini raised her eyebrow at his statement while looking at him offended

In a good way I mean he added fearing of her getting angry at his statement and she nodded her head sparing him....she lowered her head to concentrate over food but a smile appeared on her lips as her mind replayed how hastily he added the sentence......

Manik was sitting on bed while nandini went to place the remaining food and used plates in kitchen......he made himself comfy on bed and started checking social media while waiting for nandini.....on the other hand nandini was boiling milk to prepare coffee for him knowing how much he loved it....after few minutes she placed 2 mugs on tray a coffee for him and milk for herself.......she entered the room to find him too engrossed in phone and smiling

Kon se larki ke msgs parh ke itna smile kar rhe ho nandini asked raising her eyebrow as she placed the tray on side table

Tm phle bv ho jo kisi larki ka naam shohar ko threat karne ke bajaye use tease karne ke liye use karte he rolled his eyes at her statement and she laughed as she handed him his mug

Bcz ab tmhe koi aur nhi milne wale she laughed as she climbed the bed and crawled to sit some inches far from him so that she was close to him but not that close to him ........manik took a sip and his taste buds informed him of how amazing the taste was and he made happy expressions..... placing hand on her waist he pulled her closer and pecked her lips

Thnku he said smooching her cheeks one by one and nandini smiled as she mumbled ur welcome he nuzzled her face for sometime and then parted away and grabbed his mobile

I was watching this he pulled his mobile in front of her and they watched cute little babies playing

They will be here soon......some days testing our patience, making it tough for us to survive the day, but after that all they have to do is flash us their beautiful smiles.....the smiles that would show how pure they are for this world he said as his hand went to rest on her stomach while nandini had a beautiful smile hearing this

Yes we will try our best to be the best version of ourselves for our babies she kissed his jawline as she snuggled into him and manik hid her in his strong arms and they kept silent enjoying each other's presence

In morning manik got ready but nandini was still in washroom

Nandini m going down....come fast he said loudly so that she could listen to him

Okay coming nandini peeked from washroom holding her foundation and lipgloss and manik nodded as he walked towards the door and then downstairs......as he was walking downstairs his eyes spotted nyonika in lounge and mohan's words came in his mind that nyonika knew everything

Common manik u r coming in some stranger words he shaked his head to free himself from the disturbing thoughts and.passed thru the lounge not even looking at nyonika cuz he was manik malhotra.....the man who would never ever talk to a person who would make him feel that he wasn't welcomed there......who would leave a person no matter how much love he had for that person once he felt that the other person doesn't want him and the same happened in nyonika's case....she abused him ,cursed him and said disgusted remarks about his presence that made manik go away from her.....he detached his feelings from her and went away....

Manik nyonika called adding much to his anxiety.......he just didnt want that so he decided to walk away when she came infront of him

Listen to me she added and manik just didnt know how to react in those situations

I cant live like this she said in helpless tone and manik raised his head to look at her

How?? He asked acting clueless

Manik why u keep so much distance to me she asked and her voice trembled as it showed how vulnerable she felt at that time

How pathetic of a son I m he said in sarcastic tone as he took a step back to remove her hand from his arm

Dont go there again she pleaded to not touch that topic again as she just wanted to forget everything and enjoy the time with him

Ok, ok I wont he said as mohan's words came in his mind again

Do u know mohan Singh he asked out of no where and nyonika looked at him with confused face

No she said and manik just stared at her face

U know who is my father's murderer he asked with raised eyebrow and nyonika lifted her head to look at him but then said tucking her hairstrand back

Think again....u might remember he said as he had noticed her face turning pale and how she couldn't look into his eyes for long.....she didnt make it obvious but manik noticed each and every move of her , he who just asked without having anything in his mind was now sure that she knew sth.....sth which was hidden from him

Manik nyonika called again as he started walking again

I have to go to office he didnt even look at her and walked leaving her there with pained expressions

Ohhhh sorry I got late nandini came hurriedly as she was late and manik was waiting for him

Be careful nandini he warned in stern tone as he saw her taking haste steps towards the dining hall not caring about her condition and nandini just bit her tongue as she gave an apologetic look who just didnt melt no compromises on this.....we have already suffered enough he said as he took last few bites from his plate......nandini just said nothing and gave a kiss on his forehead

Everything will be alright....dw she said sitting next to him and he wiped his hand with napkin as he rested his back on chair

Breakfast karo araam se....then we will go he said as he folded his hands on his chest and watched her gobbling her food

M done she said after 5 minutes getting up and manik looked at her plate and then at her face

Wapis beth jao.... he looked at her plate which still had food in it

Bs manik m so full she said as she wiped her hand still standing......manik grabbed her hand pulling her to sit back on chair and she made a face looking at him and then at plate

I think u r not ready for another extra shift he said conveying the message that they wont move until the food is finished which would eventually lead to her getting late and nandini just narrowed her eyebrows at him

Folding his sleeves manik leaned forward as he pulled her plate in between them and made a morsel for her

Manik stop treating me like a kid she whined but manik just smiled as he forwarded his hand infront of her mouth and not wanting to keep him waiting nandini halfheatedly opened her mouth and manik fed her the morsel

Good he encouraged like she was actually a baby and nandini rolled her eyes at him

What he asked laughing as he looked at her expressions bache kese smbhalne hai practice kar rha hn he said laughing and a smile appeared at the corner of her lips as she punched his arm which made him laugh more as he fed her breakfast

From the corner of lounge nyonika saw them laughing and her heart cried seeing his completely opposite behaviour.....how gentle and sweet he was with nandini and how heartless and rude he was with his mother!!!!
