The Vampire War #1
Y/N Romanoff Creed was taken by the Ten Rings and turned into a Godslayer. After he escaped, he lived a life of crime before turning it around and become.....
Monster!
The Strikers have been dealing with international crises at every turn, but a new threat rises as the vampires find themselves in a civil war. But no one knows why!
Luckily, the Strikers will soon get their answers.
Strikers: Monster, Scarlet Witch, Cloak, Dagger, Ghost Rider, Wolverine, Toxin, Bruiser, Squirrel Girl, Enchantress, Bloodstone, Loki, Wave, Crystal
Monster:
Strikers
The attack was sudden and brutally efficient. While swarms of bats rained down napalm, rats filled with sunburst grenades scurried through the castle's sewers, reducing it's residents to wailing husks. Every man, woman, and murderous child.
The sentries outside have stood guard since the 15th century. They had fought off knights, armies, and gods. But they never faced a rotary cannon firing 2,000 wooden stakes a minute into their undead hearts.
The most fearsome castle to ever rise was engulfed in flames, and before the night was over, it would be nothing but ash.
But the attackers were there for a different reason than mindless slaughter.
They were there for the castle's master.
???: WHERE IS HE?!
The coffin in the middle of the room was left open, and empty.
Shadow Colonel: WHERE IS DRACULA?!
--------------
Vampire: <Hisss!>
Laura cried out as she stabbed the creature in the heart with her claws. She watched as he turned into dust before she kicked herself back out of the small bathroom.
She looked around the room at the group of vampires ready to kill.
Vampire: Hss! Your blood's not even worth drinking, you mutant! We'll flush it down the toilet once we're done testing you apart!
Laura: Yeah. I wouldn't go in there for a bit if I was you.
The vampires lunged at her as she braced herself. At that time, the pilot made an announcement.
Tandy: Attention passengers! Those of you who are not Vampires, please make your way to the rear of the plane in an orderly fashion and strap yourselves in!
Tandy flew the passenger plane through the night sky as the teo pilots laid dead next to her. Bite marks on their necks still bleeding.
This was Roxxon Flight 959. Ten minutes ago, vampires had hijacked it.
Tandy: There may be a bit of turbulence, but we'll have you on the ground safe and sound as soon as possible. You have my word as a Striker!
She dropped the radio as one of the vampires appeared behind her. She created a dagger and stabbed it into their heart which caused them to fall over and turn to dust.
Back with Laura, she sliced one of their necks with her foot claw before she slammed another against the side of the cabin.
Vampire: If we stop running, we will die!
Laura: Yeah. Seems to be working out well for you guys, huh?
Vampire: You have no idea what is chasing us! What's been released! The castle has fallen no one knows where Dracula is!
Laura stabbed it in the heart before she turned around and stabbed another.
Laura: You don't have to worry your little undead heads. Whatever is coming for you all, it's not nearly as bad as me.
She charged forward into the horde and sliced around as the PA system turned back on.
Tandy: Wolverine? How are you doing back there?
Laura: I'm glad that I can let loose!
Tandy listend from the cockpit as more screams and bloodshed occurred. She whinced at the noise before she hit a button. Laura watched as the seat belt light turned on.
Tandy: Just let me know if you need peanuts.
Laura: Got it!

All around, the effects of Dracula's dissaperence were being felt. That included Wakanda.
Wanda: The mines were cleared of workers, and the Hatut Zeraze are standing guard just outside.
Loki: Lovely. So it's just you, me, Amora, and a crazed horde of blood thinking monsters.
The three magic users stood in the middle of the Great mounds of Wakanda. Black Panther was currently dealing with keeping his people safe. However, they were also surrounded by dozens upon dozens of vampires.
Amora: How did this many vampires get past the oh so great defenses of Wakanda?
Wanda: They turned into snakes and slithered through the sewers.
Loki: Classic!
Wanda: The fall of Castle Dracula has created a level of chaos and upheaval that this race has never seen. Them getting their hands on the greatest mound of Vibranium would be of great benefit.
Amora and Loki stood at the ready as Wanda closed her eyes and started the spell. They had given them a chance to help them, but they refused. They only spoke of some great evil ready to invade. Of his Legion of the Undead.
But now they will pay. Wanda opened her eyes and lifted her hands as did Amora. Loki simply summoned some knives as he flipped them around.
Wanda: Feast on the flames.
At the same time, Wanda and Amora cast the spell which engulfed the entire area around them in a massive wave of flames. Loki worked to kill any vampire that made it past the fire.
Wanda had to tell herself that they were not humans. They were creatures. Undead killers.
But they were also scared.
------------
Elsa: Hurry! To the church! You'll be safe there!
Elsa ushered the fleeing civilians towards the large church as the flames if Castle Dracula raged on in the night. For hours now, the village has been alive with screams.
But this was Transylvania. Everyone has lived here their whole lives. They knew what hid in the dark.
Elsa fired off her rifle at the incoming Vampires that were chasing after the escaping humans. She focused on what was in front of her as Crystal fought to use the flames to attack the creatures.
Woman: They're coming from the skies!
Elsa looked up to see the flaming human sized bat like creatures flying down. She looked at all of them before she gritted her teeth.
Man: We do not have to worry. God is looking down at us now.
Elsa smirked.
Elsa: Not a God. A Godslayer.
The creature cried out before it suddenly found itself ripped in two. You let out a cry as you zipped around and took care of the creatures of the sky.
You built up you power before you released a powerful blast of electricity across the sky, which killed the rest of the bats.
You flew down and landed next to Elsa who was already racking up her kill count.
Y/N: Go with them. Make sure they stay safe.
Elsa nodded. She hurried everyone into the church as you popped out your claws and got to work slicing through the onslaught of monsters.
Vampire: Where do you think you're going, meat?!
Y/N: They're going with me!
The vampires all watched as you backed up to the church.
Y/N: I am Monster. The leader of the Strikers. I understand that you are people dealing with a civil war, but we will offer you help.
Vampire: To hell with your help!
Vampire: The old country's fallen! The count is in the wind!
Vampire: We need a big dinner before we can fly out of here! Step out of the way, or we'll burn this God shack to the ground and feast in their burnt skin!
You recalled the last time you were in a church. It was during your "wedding" to Felicia and Cat. One of your last jobs as a thief. You weren't against religion or belief.
Y/N: Father, Elsa, keep everyone inside. Keep the doors close no matter what you hear.
Elsa nodded and closed the wooden doors. Crystal landed next to you and created a small ball of ice in her hand.
Crystal: It looks like they want a snack.
You stepped forward as you clenched your fists.
Y/N: You want something to eat? Then come and take a big bite! See if you can stomach it!
You were simply a man who was too busy standing to kneel.
-------------
Robbie: A city of monsters. Right under New York. I wish I could tell my old Geography teacher about this. He'd shit himself.
Robbie dragged three Vampires towards his car which had the trunck popped open. He was leading the mission to Monster Metropolis. A underground city of monsters under New York. Like he...just...said.
Molly: Vampires fight Bruiser or go to Hell!
Vampire: Hell! I pick hell!
Squirrel Girl: Then you're already here!
She kicked one in the face and lifted it up. She then threw it away which made it fly right past Robbie. He stuffed the three Vampires into the trunk as he sighed.
Sending rowdy vampires to hell through a portal in his trunk. This was crazy, right? But, he was just happy to be working with everyone again. He was actually really good at...
???: No, you're not.
Robbie looked up and found a boy standing there. His skin was red and he had small horns on his head. Besides that, he looked like a normal kid.
Robbie: Huh? Could you just hear...
???: You are not. Striker. Not a hero. You are vengeance itself, Roberto Reyes. You are the fires of hell in human form.
Robbie: How do you know my name?
???: I know all the Ghost Rider's names. Going back to the very first. Here in Monster Metropolis, we recognize our own. You're a monster. And soon, the Strikers will see it too.
Robbie looked at the child confused. He then shook his head.
Robbie: I'm not....
He suddenly found a hand on his shoulder. Doreen picked him up and carried him towards the car.
Doreen: Enough yacking, Rob! We got Vampires to hunt! Time for our special move!
Robbie: W-Wait! Where's the kid?
Doreen stuffed him into the car and closed the door. Robbie grabbed the wheel as Doreen lifted the car up.
Doreem: Oh yeah! FIREBALL SPECIAL!
She threw the car as Robbie heard something. A faint laugher. It came somewhere from deep inside his head.
A very sinister laugh echoed.
--------------
You ripped one of the creatures in half before you tossed their body aside. You and Crystal were now covered in blood as you tore through the horde of the bloodsuckers with ease.
Y/N: Now, are you shitheads ready to listen, or would you like some desert?
The Vampires went to attack, but they all stopped. Suddenly, a powerful order filled your nostrils. More powerful than the blood and death.
Vampire: He is near! Run! Run for your undead lives!
The horde began to run away in fear as you and Crystal watched. She looked around confused.
Crystal: Where are they going? Why are they running?
Y/N: I don't know. But I don't think it's because of us.
Shadow Colonel: Yeah, that would be me.
You and Crystal turned around and found the Shadow Colonel walking towards you. Beside him was a creature that kinda looked like a dog.
You and Crystal raised your guard as he stopped.
Shadow Colonel: They call me the Shadow Colonel. And this is Sarge.
Sarge: <Bark!>
Y/N: Jesus.
Shadow Colonel: The world is in chaos and I suppose you might think this is my fault.
You and Crystal looked at each other. Who was this guy? Was he the reason the castle was up in flames?
Shadow Colonel: But I can settle all of our problems, folks. Yours and mine both. Right here and now with either of us ever seeing each other again. All you Strikers have to do is answer one simple question.
He took a step forward.
Shadow Colonel: Where is Dracula?
-------------
Y/N: That's all he said.
You stood with Tandy, Pearl, and Tyrone as you all looked at the Shadow Colonel. Everyone had managed to get back to the Manor where you now held your new prisoner who was restrained in the interrogation room.
Pearl: And he just came along peacefully?
Tyrone: No. I had to help Crystal and Elsa in pulling Y/N off.
Everyone looked at you as you scratched your cheek.
Y/N: I kinda got lost in the sauce after finally going all out on the Vampires.
Tandy: So, we have no idea who this guy is?
Pearl: All of the scans show that he is definitely a vampire. But we can't take the helmet off. If we do, it'll activate a series of wires that he has all over his body.
Tandy: So we have a tough costumer. Guess we'll do this good cop bad cop style.
Y/N: Oh. Role-play.
Tandy shot you a look as you smirked.
Y/N: Nah. I got someone better suited for this particular problem.
The Shadow Colonel looked up when he heard the door open. Laura entered the room as she cracked her knuckles. The vampire sniffed the air and let out a sigh.
Shadow Colonel: So, you just me the daughter. Heh. I was expecting more.
Laura: You killed a bunch of Vampires. Congrats. I've been doing that for years now. But you didn't get the big guy, did you?
The vampire didn't answer.
Laura: No. Didn't think so. But you just turned the entire world into a war zone.
The vampire snorted.
Shadow Colonel: For humans, maybe. For our kind, a little war will do us some good.
Laura placed her hands down on the table as she tried to read him. It was near impossible to do with his armor.
Laura: What's your goal?
Shadow Colonel: Tell me, how does it feel to be a cheap copy of an already faulted product?
Laura grabbed him and slammed him against the wall as you all watched. You sighed.
Tyrone: I don't like how this is going.
Y/N: Me neither. He's way too confident.
Pearl: Uh, guys?
Y/N: It's like he wanted to be brought here.
Pearl: Where's his dog?
--------------
Robbie kicked the tire of his car in frustration. What the child said was still fresh on his mind. The laughter that he hadn't heard in nearly a year.
Robbie: Talk, damnit! You stupid fucking car! Tell me what the hell I am!
He kicked it again.
Robbie: How did that kid know so much about me?! Is what he said true? Am I...am I a mon...
Doreen: Hello, Strikers. This is Doreen up in the, uh, brain? Is that what this is called?
Robbie just sighed as he sat down with his back against the car.
Doreen: Anyway, I just saw a dog that growled at me and dissapered in the walls. Is Ghost Dog a thing we're supposed to have and no one told me? Cause...
The lights suddenly turned off. Robbie slowly lifted his head and looked around.
Robbie: What happened to the lights? Doreen? Guys? This is Robbie in the garage. Can anyone hear me?
Sarge: Ghost Rider.
Robbie looked around confused.
Robbie: Huh? Who's there?
Sarge: In the name of Mephisto.
Robbie flinched when he felt something on his hand. He looked down and found the hellflames start to cover his hands. He flinched as it only grew worse.
Robbie: Ah. Ah! This hurts way more than usual! What's going on....
Sarge: In the name of Lord Marduk the Moringstar. In the name of Zarathos and Zadkiel.
Robbie cried out as the fire covered his whole body. He fell over and began to grab his head as he felt pain unlike anything he had ever experienced.
----------
Laura: Who are you?!
The Shadow Colonel just laughed as he slammed his head right into hers. Laura stumbled back as the Shadow Colonel broke his restraints.
Y/N: Shit!
Shadow Colonel: I am the new Lord of Vampires! You and your Strikers can go to hell. And I know just the way to get you there.
------------
Sarge: In the name of Eli Marrow and whatever masters you might be serving above or below.
Robbie: What is happening?! Charger, help me!
His pleas fell on deaf ears. Sarge slowly stepped out into the open as he growled.
Sarge: In the name of vengeance, I invoke you.
Robbie rose to his knees as the Rider's power reached it's peak. He cried out as the flames rose to the roof and his body finally changed.
Sarge: Now get in and start the damn car.
Robbie: AHHHHHHHHH!

In Russia, a lone figure walked down a deserted road. At an outpost, Winter Guard members Vanguard and Darkstar stood watch.
Vanguard: You know, when we reformed the Winter Guard, I didn't think we'd actually be standing guard.
Darkstar: Stay sharp, brother. It'll be dawn soon. But Ursa Major and Red Widow caught another pack of Vampires try to sneak past the border.
Vanguard chuckled.
Vanguard: If that damn drunk bear gets bitten, then we'll really have a...problem.
The two stood up straighter when they spotted the lone figure. Without hesitating, the two leaped into action and charged towards the unknown person.
Darkstar: Stop right there! Identify yourself or we will open fire!
???: I mean you no harm.
The two siblings stopped when they saw who it was.
Vanguard: Holy hell...is that...
Darkstar: Nicolai, call for backup.
???: I wish to speak to someone in position of authority in Moscow. I am a royal refugee fleeing the troubles in Romania, seeking political asylum in Russia. My name is Vlad Tepes. Count Dracula of Transylvania.
Dracula: And I just wish to know peace.
