You and Laura sat in one of the offices at Pym Laboratories as Janet made a phone call. You let out a silent sigh right as Nadia walked in.

Nadia: I got coke, sprite, and Dr. Pepper.

Laura: Dibs on sprite.

Nadia tossed her the sprite can while you just sat there.

Nadia: Y/N?

You snapped out of your daze and declined the drink. Nadia frowned a bit before she set the extra soda down and took the Dr. Pepper for herself.

Things were just awkward.

Janet: Alright. I got someone to bring you guys one of my figures. But I have to ask, why are you looking for it?

You and Laura looked at each other before you sighed.

Y/N: It's a long story. But pretty much, I have a new symbiote.

Nadia: Toxin, right? Is he here?

You shook your head.

Y/N: He's back at Burns. But....

Suddenly, things began to shake. The entire ground. Everyone stood up as the ground shook.

Y/N: An earthquake?!

Nadia: That's not possible. There were no readings indicating an earthquake today.

Then why the hell was the ground shaking?!

Tandy: Woah!

Tandy and Doreen held onto each other as the ground shook in Texas.

Doreen: What's going on?! I didn't know Texas had earthquakes!

Tandy: They don't!

Robbie: What the hell?

Robbie hit the brakes as the ground shook. Molly and Cat looked outside and watched as the buildings seemed to shake.

Cat: An earthquake in New York?

Molly: Woah.

You found yourself racing outside as the others followed. You looked into the sky and watched as it seemed to ripple.

Y/N: What the hell is that?!

Nadia's phone went off and she pulled it out. She answered.

Nadia: Kamala?

You and Laura looked at her. She nodded.

Nadia: On my way. I'll bring back up.

She hung up and turned to you and Laura.

Nadia: We have trouble.

You and Laura looked at each other. You then nodded.

Y/N: Lead the way. I'll call the others.

Robbie pulled up to a building and parked it. Cat got out and turned back to the duo.

Cat: Are you guys sure you'll be okay?

Robbie: Yeah. Get somewhere safe for now.

Cat nodded. She turned to head inside, but stopped and turned back. She quickly wrote something down and handed it to Robbie.

Cat: Maybe the next time you're in town, you can give me a call?

Robbie looked at the number confused. How could she be thinking about this stuff? Sure the earthquake was over, but the danger didn't seem to have passed yet.

But, she was pretty cute.

Robbie: Uh, y-yeah. Sure.

Cat winked at him and headed inside her apartments building. Molly watched her head inside before she jumped into the front seat.

Molly: She must be loaded. Good thing we found those toys.

Robbie looked at his phone and sighed.

Robbie: Yeah. Guess we're going to Waco to pick up Doreen and Tandy. Then, we're heading to New Jersey.

Molly: The garbage state!

Nadia: They're up ahead.

She was carrying Nadia while you flew beside her. Janet decided to stay back and try to get a hold of the Avengers while the sky above kept moving weirdly.

Y/N: I got a hold of some of our team. The others must be back at Burns already.

Laura: Typical. We seriously need to get those commutations up and running.

Y/N: I'm working on it!

You both landed and looked around as everyone ran to get to safety. The earthquake had stopped, but the sky was still all weird and no one knew what to do about the weird energy in the air.

Laura: Oh God!

She covered her nose before you caught the whiff of what smelt like sulfer. You covered your nose as well.

Nadia: What is it?

Y/N: Sulfer. I can smell it everywhere. It's disgusting.

Laura: That's an understatement.

???: Holy moly! It's you!

You didn't even have time to react before you were tackled to the ground by an unseen force. All you saw, was a flash of pink.

Gwen: I missed you so much!

She squeezed you tighter as you struggled to breath. She was eventually pulled off of you by another old face.

Kamala: Dude, you're gonna kill him.

Y/N: thank you....

Laura helped you to your feet while Kamala held Gwen up like a cat.

Gwen: I just wanna hug my long lost lover.

Tandy: Your, what?

You and Laura turned around just as the other Strikers walked towards you. Well, Robbie, Molly, Tandy, and Doreen.

Nadia: You guys must be the other Strikers! Uh, some of them.

Robbie nodded.

Robbie: Ghost Rider. This is Bruiser. Those two are Dagger and Squirrel Girl.

Gwen: I'm Gwenpool. This is Wasp and Ms. Marvel.

Y/N: Yeah yeah, introductions are over. What the hell is going on?

The others looked into the sky and noticed the rippling.

Tandy: Uh, is the sky turning purple?

Kamala: We have no idea what's going on. But only the three of us answered the call. I have no idea where the others are. It's like someone cut the communications.

Gwen: So it's just us?

You all stood there before you heard a loud boom overhead. You all looked up and watched as the clouds began to swirl.

Robbie: Uh, shit.

Everyone prepared for battle as the sky seemed to open.

Y/N: Everyone get ready. We might have a fight on our hands!

Robbie transformed while you popped your claws out. Gwen held up a sword while Kamala enlarged her fists. Tandy summoned a dagger and Molly raised her fists. Doreen smiled while Nadia flew up.

Then, something truly odd happened.

Someone emerged from the spiral, but you all looked at them confused.

Y/N: Uh....

Kamala: What the heck?

Gwen: I HAVE ARRIVED!

You all looked at Gwen who was just as confused.

Gwen: I don't know. This is getting weird. Are you out of ideas, Ivan?

Stop breaking the fourth wall, Gwen. I swear to God I will write you out of this story and bench you until the next book.

Gwen: Fight me, bitch.

Tandy: Wait wait wait. Why are you here and why are you also up there?

Gwen: I don't know.

The dark Gwen hovered there before she spotted you and the others. She slowly descended from the sky and landed in front of you all.

Dark Gwen: Hello, old friends.

You all stood there awkwardly.

Robbie: I just met you.

Dark Gwen just laughed like he told a joke.

Dark Gwen: I was sent this far back?! Oh my God! Look how young you all are! I'm even wearing my old pink uniform! Hahahahaha! This is too good!

What the hell is going on? And now that you were looking at her, she did seem older.

Dark Gwen stopped laughing and wiped a tear from her eye.

Dark Gwen: Though, this couldn't be a mistake. The Emperor never makes a mistake. If this is where he sent me, then this is where I need to be.

She pointed her blade at you which caused you to flinch. Everyone looked at you in surpise, but they instead found something that unnerved them.

You were scared.

Your entire body was going crazy. Your senses were in overdrive. Just like when you first met Kletus.

Dark Gwen: I came with either a warning, or an attack. The way this plays out depends on rather or not you listen.

She slowly began to walk towards you but Laura and Robbie moved in front of you.

Nadia: What are you doing here?!

Dark Gwen: I'm here to tell these fools to stop with this pointless quest!

You and the Strikers all suddenly became stone face.

This.........this was about your quest to find the action figures?

Seriously?

Kamala: Uh.....

Y/N: You have got to be kidding me.

Dark Gwen: Huh? Are you questioning me?

She tightened her grip on her sword.

Dark Gwen: Don't you know who the fuck I am?! I'm the damn second in command of the Emperor's Furies! His third wife and lover! The mother of his most powerful general!

All: THIRD WIFE?!

Gwen: I'm a mom?!

Dark Gwen just laughed insanely. What the hell was wrong with her. Gwen was weird, but this was just ridiculous. It was like something just....snapped.

Dark Gwen: Now either stop this stupid quest, or I can end it for you!

She lunged forward, but she suddenly vanished. You all looked around before you heard the wind shift.

Then, you were suddenly sliced up everywhere. Blood sprayed out from your body as you fell over and everyone looked at you.

Dark Gwen appeared back where she once was, now with a bloody blade. And a wicked smile on her face.

Tandy: I didn't even seen her attack.

You shook in pain as you slowly healed from the wounds. The cuts were clean and deep. They were calculated, but that was impossible.

There was no way she could've done that that fast. And without you seeing her.

Dark Gwen laughed as she licked her blade.

Dark Gwen: Oh how I love to see them squirm.

She began to breathe heavily before she began to rub her legs together. Her cheeks got red as she smiled.

Dark Gwen: Seeing you bleed like that....it's so intoxicating. Oh, how it turns me on! I want to see more. More! MORE!

She lunged at the group again, but Laura was quick to block her attack with her claws.

Dark Gwen: Show me more red. Let me taste it all!

She swung at Laura again but Laura blocked her. Tandy threw a dagger but Dark Gwen just dodged it like it was nothing.

Dark Gwen: Oh. Look at that. They're still white.

She turned her sights on Tandy and suddenly vanished again. Tandy barely had time to react before Dark Gwen appeared in front of her. She raised her sword to attack, but she found a flaming chain wrapped around the metal.

Robbie: Okay, I have no idea what the hell is going on here, but you're done with you're weird blood shit!

He pulled on the chain which pulled the sword out of Dark Gwen's hands. He caught it but dropped it when it burnt his hand.

Robbie: Ah!

Dark Gwen started to laugh.

Dark Gwen: Oh my. Look at that. I guess it does work after all.

Dark Gwen leaped up over the ground before she landed next to Robbie. She kicked up her sword and held it to his neck.

Dark Gwen: The Emperor made this sword just for me. You see, as well as being his wife and lover, I also act as his executioner. That means I have to kill all kinds of things. That includes demons like you.

She moved the blade closer and Robbie cried out. How was it buring him this badly?

He dropped to his knees as his flames died out. Dark Gwen smiled even wider.

Dark Gwen: I remember the first time I did that to you. Oh how you looked so confused. It made me want to just take you and have my way with you. Even now, you look so cute when you're scared.

Molly: Leave him alone!

Dark Gwen suddenly froze. She slowly looked over towards Molly with a terrified look on her face. Doreen and Nadia were helping you to your feet. You were still bleeding, but you were getting better.

Gwen: I don't know who you are, but my libido isn't that bad! Even I have my limits!

Dark Gwen blinked before she cleared her throat and put her blade away.

Dark Gwen: Geez. I lost it again. Silly me.

She turned back to you and the others.

Dark Gwen: Forgive me. My Emperor sent me to deliver a message but I got too excited after seeing you in such a vulnerable state.

Doreen: Yeah, well spit it out! Hurry up before we kick your ass.

Dark Gwen: Tsst! Fine! Look, either stop with this pointless mission or suffer the consequences.

Y/N: No way. I don't care who sent you or how fast you are. I'm getting those toys back to Toxin.

Dark Gwen seemed to wince at the name. Wait, she knew Toxin? Dark Gwen just sighed before she turned her back on you all and started to walk away.

Dark Gwen: Fine. Can't kill you anyways. But consider this a warning. If you do anything to try and change the future, the Furies will come for your head.

Suddenly, the area glitched before everything returned to normal. You all stood there in surpise before you looked up.

The sky was blue again. And it wasn't rippling.

Nadia: What the heck?

Kamala: Okay. That was definitely weird.

Everyone looked up at the sky but you began to sway. You suddenly fell over which caused everyone to turn to look at you.

Robbie: His wounds!

Everyone rushed over to you as you continued to shake.

How did Gwen of all people do this to you? How did she move that fast? How did she manage to hurt you?

And why weren't you healing?

Nadia: Y/N, are you....

Tandy: I got him!

Nadia jumped back as Tandy kneeled down beside you. She began to heal you with her light. The three Program members watched as Tandy held her light over you.

Tandy: We need to get him back to the manor. ASAP.

Robbie nodded and whistled. His car came driving down the street in a firey blaze. Robbie picked you up and carried you over to the car before he set you in the back seat. Doreen and Tandy sat beside you to keep you up, while Molly jumped in the front seat.

Nadia: Wait....

Laura: I'm sorry, guys. But we seriously need to go.

They watched as Robbie got into the driver seat while the Quinjet hovered over head. Laura hit a button on her watch and a rope dropped down.

Kamala: At least visit sometime!

No one heard her, however. Laura flew the jet away while Robbie hit the gas. Nadia stood there for a moment before she raised a hand to her chest.

She hoped you were alright.

Toxin: These are so cool!

Toxin held up some of his new toys that everyone had managed to find. While everyone was watching him set them up, Tandy sat next to your bed as the machine checked you over.

Tandy: How do you feel?

Y/N: I.....I was hurt. Like seriously hurt.

You had your shirt off so that the machine could read your injuries, but the bleeding at least stopped.

Tandy: Whatever that Gwen person had, it was able to affect you and Robbie both. I didn't even know that was possible.

The machine stopped and Tandy looked at the screen. You sat up as well and stood up to look at it.

Tandy: This is.....

Y/N: The hell?

You both looked at the traces of the metal in your body, but it didn't even come up. As a matter of fact, it was the same thing that was inside you. The metal that wasn't like Laura's.

Tandy: The only way she could've gotten that metal would be if she had gotten it from you.

Y/N: But why would I give her my metal to make weapons? And who the hell was that Emperor guy she was talking about?

You and Tandy both sighed. There wasn't going to be a straight answer, was there?

Not now, at least.

Tandy looked at you and then at your wounds. They were scars now, so they were healing up.

Tandy: Well, you wanna head down? Tox might be playing with his toys now.

You smiled a bit and out an arm around her.

Y/N: Sure. Hey, maybe they'll make figures of us, one day.

Tandy just rolled her eyes as you both walked out of the room.

Tandy: Sure.

You both smiled, but neither of you bothered to move away. So you kept her close.

Dark Gwen smirked as she entered the large room that was lit by the windows above. The pathway towards the steps that would lead to the throne were lit up in pink. Her color.

He was waiting for her.

She stopped a few feet away from the steps and dropped to a knee where she bowed.

???: You returned.

Dark Gwen: Always, my lord.

???: You also failed.

Dark Gwen's eyes went wide before she looked up. However, a knife stabbed into the ground beside her. A streak of red was now visible on her cheek.

???: They still went on with their mission. And now, you affected the past.

Dark Gwen: What? How?! I did everything right! I....

???: SILENCE!

Gwen dropped her head again at the booming voice. The figure in the throne stood up and began to descend the steps.

???: I gave you a mission. One that I trusted you could handle. But it appears that I was mistaken.

Dark Gwen flinched as he held his hand out towards her. He gently wiped the blood from her cheek.

Emperor: You're lucky that I'm in a good mood today. Leave me. And send in Doreen.

Gwen slowly bowed her head and stood up. She went to walk away, but the Emperor suddenly grabbed her by the neck. She struggled as he lifted her up.

Emperor: I do not like to be mistaken. Do not fail me again, or you will regret it.

Gwen watched as his eyes seemed to glow brighter. He set her down and turned back to the steps. He walked to his throne while Gwen left the room.

The Emperor sat down and sighed. He then looked to the only other person in the room.

Emperor: There was once a time where I would've gone to you.

The figure remained motionless. Just like always.

There was a sound and the Emperor leaned his head to the left. From the darkness came a figure.

Tyrone: Reports have come in. They found more rebels.

Emperor: And did my Furies handle it?

Tyrone: Lady Doreen and Lady Vivian lead the assault themselves. The results were conclusive. The rebel camp is no more.

The Emperor nodded and Tyrone returned to the dark depths. The ruler looked back to the still figure and narrowed his eyes.

Emperor: Do you know why I still keep people like you and Laura around? Those who despise me?

The figure said nothing. The Emperor stood up and walked down to where the figure was standing. He stopped in front of him and stared at him.

Emperor: It's because, no matter how badly you hate me or how many times Laura tries to kill me, you will always be my family.

The Emperor slowly took off his helmet and looked at the man who was once his brother.

Emperor: And you will remain by my side, until the end of your days.

Robbie finally looked at the Emperor.

Robbie: Kate was my family. So was Molly. The day you killed them, was the day you stopped being our family.

The Emperor slowly nodded before he sighed.

Emperor: And the day I killed Y/N?

Robbie felt his eye twitch, but he didn't attack. He just looked back down. The Emperor slowly placed a hand on his cheek, the same one that was now scared.

Emperor: I'm sure.....I'm sure he misses you too.

The Emperor placed his helmet back on his head and returned to his throne. Just then, the doors opened and a new figure strutted in.

Doreen: Hello, deary.

She dropped to a knee and bowed her head.

Doreen: Please excuse the blood. I promise to have it off by tonight.

Emperor: Doreen, you have a mission.

Doreen looked up and smiled.

Emperor: You have to kill someone from the past to ensure this future.

Doreen: Just tell me who.

Emperor: You have to kill Victor Creed, just before the Realms attack.
