Strikers: Monster, Cloak, Dagger, Wolverine, Ghost Rider, Bloodstone, Loki

Unaffiliated: Sabertooth, Black Cat

SHIELD: Mockingbird

Monster:
Strikers

Robbie looked at himself in the mirror a bit uncertain. Cat had said to dress nice, but was this too much?

He gave it some thought and came to a conclusion. He looked damn good in a suit.

Elsa: Not bad.

Robbie turned around to find Elsa leaning on his wall. She smiled at his reaction while he sighed.

Robbie: Thanks.

Elsa: No, really. I like you in a suit. Kinda makes me regret not getting you out on a date when I had the chance.

Robbie: You never had a chance. We already talked about what happened. We both agreed it was a one time thing.

Elsa nodded. She jumped down and walked over to him. She fixed his collar before she brushed some lint off his shoulder.

Elsa: I know. So you go and show her a good time.

Robbie smiled.

Robbie: Will do. But, uh, do you know how to tie a bow tie?

Robbie held up his bowtie but Elsa just shook her head. Robbie sighed.

Victor: I do.

The two looked over to see Victor standing there. Elsa nodded and turned to Robbie. She wished him good luck before she headed out of the room. Victor walked over to Robbie and held out his hand.

Robbie handed him the bow tie.

Victor: You never done this before?

Robbie: Never had a reason to.

Victor nodded and motioned for Robbie to turn around. He placed the bow tie around his neck and began to do it while Robbie watched.

Victor: So, you're second date. I'm guessing this girl is a good one?

Robbie: Yeah. She's cool. When we talk, it just come naturally. And...uh...I don't really know how to explain it.

Victor chuckled a bit.

Victor: Yeah. I know that feeling.

Victor finished doing his work and smiled. Robbie lifted a hand to the nicely done bow tie, impressed.

Robbie: Thank you.

Victor: No problem. Did your dad not show you how to do this?

Robbie shook his head.

Robbie: He, uh, he passed away when I was still a kid. It was just me and Gabe for most of my life.

Victor raised a brow.

Victor: And your mom?

Robbie just chuckled.

Robbie: You think I would be here without my mom freaking out?

Victor gave it some thought. He scratched his chin for a moment before he nodded.

Victor: Right. Well, you go have a good time. Be respectful.

Robbie: Of course.

Victor: And play nice. Treat her right.

Robbie smiled.

Robbie: You got it, sir.

Victor placed a hand on his shoulder before he sighed. He nodded and headed out of the room. Robbie stood there for a moment as he looked back at the mirror.
-------------
Cat: No biz tonight.

Felicia: No ripping, no running, no looting, no shooting.

Cat: Tonight is some much needed R&R.

The girls looked at themselves in the mirror at the black dress they wore.  Their hair was styled up and curled at the ends. She wore some light makeup and a pair of diamond earrings.

Felicia: Just remember...

Cat: No putting out unless we both agree to it. I know, hon.

Cat smirked as she blew herself a kiss. Tonight was the second date with Robbie. God help us all.

Cat: Back end like a gat-damn work of art, damn.

She winked at Felicia through the mirror before she left their room. Fox looked up when he heard her and quickly stood up. He sported her and smiled.

Fox: My dears. You look lovely.

Cat approached her father and hugged him as he sighed.

Fox: You grew up so much. I regret that I missed it.

Cat: I know. But it wasn't your fault.

Fox: No. It was.

He pulled away but held her shoulders as he looked at her in her eyes.

Fox: I made my choice that led to my capture. But I am here now. And soon, we will never have to part ways by outside forces any more.

Cat and Felicia felt warm at his words. They loved their father, very much so. And they were glad that they were back.

Fox: Now, go knock this Rob boy dead.

Cat: His name is Robbie, papa.

Fox: Ah, yes. Robbie.

Cat laughed a bit as she grabbed her purse.

Cat: Don't wait up.

Fox: I never do.
---------------
You whistled as you played a game of air hockey with Tyrone. It was 12-0.

Tyrone.

Y/N: Stupid game.

Tyrone scored another point as you sighed. Just keep whistling.

Laura: Your boyfriend sucks.

Tandy: So you've told me. Many times.

Laura: Just saying. If you wanna leave him, we can run away together.

Tandy: As tempted as that sounds, I kinda actually like him.

Laura: Shame. You could do so much better.

Loki: K-Kiss. Kiss each other.

Tyrone scored another point and you groaned as the table powered down. You tossed your puck down and walked around to give Tyrone the $5 he had won.

Everyone else had decided to head out into town for dinner while Amora and Wanda were gathering the last bit of intel for the Vampire problem going on over in Romania.

Loki: I request a game against the champion.

Laura: I ain't playing.

Loki: Damn you, mini Wolverine!

Laura just shrugged as she drank her beer. Suddenly, the music that was playing from the speaker was turned down. You all looked over to find Victor walking in.

Y/N: What's up, pops? You wanna challenge Laura, too?

Laura: You, I will take on.

Victor shook his head.

Victor: No. I....where did you get that?

He signaled to the beer you were all drinking. You all immediately pointed to the the where Bobbi was laying with her book. She looked up and smiled.

Victor: Please don't give them alcohol.

Bobbi: Try to stop me.

Victor: I can't while the kids are here.

You all groaned while Bobbi stuck her tounge out. Okay, well, if there was any doubt, now you knew.

They were together.

Ew.

Old people.

Victor: Now, I want to ask you all a question.

Tyrone: No, I'm not the one growing the Marijuana crops.

Victor: Wait...

Y/N: That's Doreen's pet project.

Victor: No.

Tandy: They've been doing good.

Victor: It's not about your weed!

Loki: Doreen's weed.

Victor growled and shook his head.

Victor: It's about your parents.

Y/N: I also have questions about my parents.

Victor: Not you.

He groaned.

Victor: Geez, you kids give me more headaches than Bobbi.

Bobbi just blew a kiss.

Victor: Tandy. Tyrone. Laura.

Loki: Not Loki?

Victor: How do your parents feel about you being here?

The three seemed confused. To be fair, Doreen was pretty much a wild animal, Pearl's family already supported it, and the others kinda didn't have parents or family to worry.

Tandy: Well, me and Tyrone are kinda...runaways.

Tyrone: Kinda. We were declared dead. And even if we weren't, our parents never cared if we were around or not.

Victor nodded.

Laura: I just don't care. If Logan has a problem, he can come here and tell me. Then I'll make sure he knows how I feel.

You all looked at her for a moment before you turned back to Victor.

Y/N: I think you're okay with me doing this.

Victor: I don't care about you. So, your families don't have a problem?

Tandy and Tyrone shook their heads. Laura just sat there.

Victor: I see.

Bobbi: I know that look. Really? Again?

You raised a brow.

Y/N: Again? What do you mean again? What are you doing, old man?

Victor: I think...I want to adopt Robbie.
--------------
Fox sat in the dark with a lone light shining down at the desk where he worked. He crafted the tools he was messing with to try and brush off his skills. They were rusty. Too rusty.

He needed this plan to work. He didn't want to miss seeing his daughters grow up. He wanted to be there. To see her fall in love. To walk her down the aisle. To see her give him grandchildren.

Suddenly, something moved along the rooftops across the street. Fox turned around and looked at the dark night. He slowly stood up and looked around as he walked towards the window.

He reached it and looked out at the city. He narrowed his eyes when he spotted something flying towards the window. It suddenly hit, splattering something across the glass.

It was a bomb. And it erupted.
------------
Cat: Never?

Robbie: Never.

Cat: You never let anyone call you Robert?

Robbie: No one.

Cat: But it's your name.

Robbie: And it's fine or whatever, but it's a middle aged man's name. Plus, people've been calling me Robbie for as long as I could remember.

The two sat at the table of the rooftop restaurant which was beyond fancy. So fancy, in fact, that they had a bottle of the finest wine at their table.

SHIELD IDs were a God damn miracle.

Cat: Well, Robbie, I have to say, I don't mind your name one bit.

Robbie smiled.

Robbie: Well, yours is nice, too. But, is it for something? Like, Kathrine or Katrina or something? Or is it just Cat?

Cat smiled.

Cat: It's, a bit complicated. My name is really, uh, Felicia, but no one ever calls me that. Ever. Not even my family.

Felicia: Because it's mine name. You're Cat. There's nothing wrong with that.

Cat: But I prefer Cat.

Robbie: I figured. I like it. Cat, I mean. Kinda suits you.

Cat smirked as she blushed a bit.

Felicia: Oh, you so love him.

Cat: I can't put out, though.

Felicia: Let's....see where the night goes.

Cat was a bit surpised by this. Felicia was usually a prude. But it seemed like Robbie's charm was finally reaching her.

Cat: So, how's work been? Seems like you've been busy.

Robbie sighed as he recalled the last month.

Robbie: Yeah. You could say that. I, uh, I've been away doing some work.

Cat: Away?

Robbie: Mexico. Helping out a friend down there. It was...nice.

Cat: Do you have family down there?

Robbie grinned.

Robbie: Yeah. Something like that. Guess it was just nice to be around people like me.

Cat smirked as she took a sip of wine.

Cat: I get it.

Robbie: It's sentimental, I suppose.

Cat: Aren't we all a bit sentimental? My father...he loves Coney Island. Says it reminds him growing up on Brighton Pier. We all look for home where we can find it.

Robbie smiled.

Robbie: Don't I know it.

Cat nodded as she looked down at her plate. She then got an idea.

Cat: Hey, you wanna go do something illegal?
----------------
You all sat on the couch as Loki held up his hands, his sleeves pulled up.

Loki: Now, watch my hands.

Tyrone: You have, like, six hands.

Y/N: How much did you drink?

Tyrone: Too much.

Loki waved his hands around for a moment before he flicked them where a card appeared. An Ace of Spades.

Loki: Is this you card?!

He held the card up towards you.

Y/N: No.

Loki: Oh.

He tried again. The 5 of Diamonds.

Loki: Is this your card?

Y/N: No.

Loki: Damn.

He tried one more time. The King of Hearts.

Loki: Huh?

Y/N: Yes.

Loki: HA! Magic!

He threw the cards down and threw up his hands. While you and Tyrone were confused on where all the cards came from, Tandy and Laura leaned agaisnt each other.

Everyone was buzzed at the very least.

Laura: Hey! Monster!

You looked over annoyed.

Y/N: What?

Laura: I don't like you.

Y/N: Get in line.

Laura: I'm challenging you. Right now.

Loki: Yes! A challenge!

You narrowed your eyes at her.

Y/N: What?

Laura: I challenge you to...to a race! The winner gets Tandy!

Tandy: Huh?

Y/N: Yeah. Huh?

Laura: If you win, you can keep her. But if I win, she's mine.

Loki: Oh. Saucy.

Y/N: What? No. Why would I...do you like her?

Laura: Not in a romantic way. But she deserved better than you.

Tyrone: Y/N is pretty cool.

Y/N: Thank you, Ty. I appreciate it.

Tandy: I'm not a prize.

Y/N: Yeah!

Laura: Race me!

Y/N: No!

Tandy: Enough!

She suddenly stood up, stumbling a bit, before she turned to the two of you.

Tandy: You two need to learn to get along. This hatchet gets buried tonight.

She walked towards the door but stopped and turned around. You and Laura just sat there confused.

Tandy: Come on!

You and Laura quickly scrambled to your feet and followed Tandy out of the room. Loki and Tyrone looked each other confused before they shrugged and laid back down.
--------------
Robbie found himself questioning what he was doing right now. He felt like he had lost his mind, but he also never felt more focus. Around his torso was his chain and he had ditched his suit for the set of spare clothing he had in the car.

Cat, meanwhile, was tying her hair in a ponytail. She scanned the cityline before her eyes fell on on particular building.

Cat: Over there. Three blocks away. Penthouse.

Robbie followed her directions and spotted the apartment.

Robbie: Who lives there?

Cat: Who cares? I'm sure there's a bunch of cool stuff there.

She turned back to Robbie.

Cat: You haven't had too much to drink, have you? I wouldn't want you to fall.

Robbie just smiled.

Robbie: I was raised in East LA. Trust me, I got this.

Cat: Right. Of course.

She turned back to the city, and leaped off the roof. And as Robbie followed, he suddenly got a feeling.

It was the same one you used to get. Up there, in the air, above it all, it's the best the city ever is. Down below, on the streets, it was blood and dirt.

But above the abyss, it's all light. And that was why they became thieves. Why you allowed yourself to be one for so long. And now, Robbie understood.

When you want things you can't have, the things desperately desired, more than water and food, you wanted to get them no matter what.

And as Cat and Robbie broke into the empty penthouse, Robbie realized a few things. There were things you could desire and have. Like a connection to a father. Like recognition for being a hero. Like a life lived by your own terms.

Excitement.

Freedom.

Things worth fighting for. Worth stealing for.

Everything, but love.

You can't steal love. No matter how hard you try. You have to earn love. You have to work for it.

Cat: Now, let us see what treasure we got.

Robbie nodded as they both presented their gifts for each other. Cat raised a brow while Robbie was confused. They exchanged the things they stole and looked at them.

Robbie: Cool. A, uh, vase?

Cat: I think it's actually a cup.

Robbie: It's a really fancy cup.

Cat: And you got me...a blender?

Robbie: Well, yeah. You can, uh, make smoothies and stuff with it. Plus, it's like the top of the line. I think. I dunno. I'm not an expert in blenders.

The two stood there for a moment, then they laughed. This was fun. It was nice. And having someone who went on with her crazy schemes, it was something she found herself enjoying.

Robbie was a handsome guy. He was charismatic. He had a sense of humor. And he was also mature for his age. He was exactly what Cat was looking for.

Felicia: Hey. Can I take over for a bit?

Cat smiled as her eyes shifted. Robbie smiled before he felt Felicia cup his cheeks. His eyes went wide when she suddenly leaned up and kissed him. It wasn't long before he fell into it.

She slowly pulled back and smirked. She then leaned up and whispered in his ear.

Felicia: Hey, wanna take this indoors?
