The Strikers faced off against the Final Host, a group of ancient Celestial Beings, and prevented the end of the world as they knew it. After preventing Armageddon, the group were gifted with a new base in the shape of a Celestial corpse.

Now with two new members, Enchantress and Squirrel Girl, the Strikers wait for their next mission with the trickster God Loki in their custody.

You looked at the hologram in front of you in awe and wonder. In the neck of the new base, T'Challa had his best install a meeting area which was named the War Room. In the center of the room was a large round table for everyone to sit at.

And, of course, there was a hologram.

Right now it showed Earth in it's entirety. You moved your hand and it zoomed in onto Burns. Thanks to Amora, satellites were now able to pick it up.

With it, you could see a few points on the map which showed you the various locations to emerging Doorways.

Portals across time and space. You've only been through one so far.

The doors opened and you watched as your team filed in one by one.

Y/N: Yo. Welcome to the first ever Strikers meeting. Take a seat.

Everyone did so, except for Molly who literally picked up a seat and started to walk away. Victor didn't let her sleep in today.

Y/N: Uh, okay. Well, for the rest of you...

Laura: Why does she get to leave?

Wanda: Molly is still young. Unless we absolutely need her, she'll serve as a reserve member. Just until Victor gives us the okay to send her on field missions.

Robbie: She's more experienced than most of us.

You shrugged.

Y/N: That's debatable. I mean, you guys did face a Chaos Lord before.

Everyone looked to Tandy and Tyrone who just waved.

Y/N: Anyway, we have some business to discuss.

Doreen: Bidness.

You just sighed and selected a point on the map. The hologram focused on it and several readings showed up.

Y/N: A doorway popped up. Doreen, Amora, you guys might not know what that is.....

Amora: Doorways allow you to travel across time and space.

Doreen: I also know of these things. I was kinda stalking you guys for a while.

You just nodded.

Y/N: Great. Saves us time. Anyway, we're going to head out and give this one a look. Out of all of them, this one is giving off the weirdest readings.

Wanda: When do we leave?

Y/N: Once everyone gears up.

Everyone just looked at you. You looked around and realized that they all had their uniforms on. You looked down at your own clothes and sighed.

Y/N: Right. Someone remind me to put in a request for my own uniform.

You all walked through the trail that would at least lead you up towards the Doorway. It was really starting to snow now since winter was here.

Luckily, the town itself wasn't affected that much by the Final Host. You questioned it before you decided that you just couldn't wrap your head around it.

Must be part of the mysticism surrounding Burns.

You eventually ended up going off the trail as Robbie looked at the device you gave him. It was supposed to lead you to the Doorway.

Robbie: It should be up here.

You nodded and continued forward. You all stopped once you reached the edge of a ledge. Down below, you found the Doorway.

Y/N: Bingo. Alright. Wanda, Amora, you girls sense anything?

Wanda: Yes.

Wow. Didn't even hesitate.

Amora: I can sense, so much energy here.

Robbie: I think I feel it, too.

He shivered and looked around.

Robbie: Or maybe it's the chill.

Tandy: No. I feel it. Ty?

Tyrone: Yep. This Dorrway isn't like the last one.

Laura and Doreen looked at the doorway while you rubbed your chin. You actually felt the energy radiating from it from up here as well. You jumped off the ledge and used your flames to slow your fall. The others all joined you.

You all walked towards the Doorway but stopped.

Laura: Hey, chief?

You looked at her.

Laura: I think we should send a team in. Not all of us.

Doreen: I agree with the aggressive one.

Laura shot Doreen a look that caused her to hide behind Tyrone. You nodded in agreement.

Y/N: Alright. Laura, Tandy, and Tyrone. You guys are with me. The rest of you will head back to base.

Robbie: Got it.

Doreen: Aw. I wanted to go do some superhero stuff.

Y/N: Well, you guys can go and question Loki. See what he means by finding the Life Tree.

Amora: Sounds good to me. Are we allowed to torture?

You looked at her for a moment before you turned to Wanda.

Y/N: You're in charge. No torture.

Wanda nodded. Your team turned around and faced the Doorway.

Y/N: Be back when we get back.

The others nodded and you stepped through. You just vanished despite the fact that everyone could see the other side like nothing was there.

However, something weird happened.

When Tandy and Tyrone tried to step through, they just walked straight through it. Laura lifted a brow and stuck her hand through it.

Laura: Uh.....what the hell?

Suddenly, the Doorway collapsed. Everyone jumped back and looked at the spot where the Doorway once stood.

Robbie: Oh shit.

Tandy: Where did Y/N go?!

You stepped onto solid ground and smiled. That was a lot nicer than last time.

Y/N: Alright, team. Let's go!

You didn't get a reply. You turned around and found that no one was there. You then turned around confused.

Y/N: Uh, guys? Hello? Anyone there?

You looked around the room confused. Where did they go? Did they even step through? And where the hell were you?

You seemed to be in a room of somekind. However, it looked old and abandoned. Almost destroyed as well. You could feel a cold draft circulating around. It also smelt of some odd scent. Was this gasoline? No. This smelt a bit different.

You decided to investigate. Maybe th others landed in a different place in this building.

You walked towards the door but stopped when you noticed a photo frame. You reached for it bit noticed that the glass was too dirty for you to even see the photo inside.

Whatever. Not like it mattered.

You just walked out of the room and found yourself inside of a hallway. This place was huge. Like a mansion or something.

But the vegetation had reclaimed it's land. The windows were mostly broken and the light from outside seemed dim.

Wait.

The light outside was....dim? That wasn't right.

You walked over to a window and looked outside. Your eyes then grew wide.

Y/N: What the fuck?

The sky was dark. Strange clouds that glowed purple hung overhead with lightning crackling in the sky. The sun was blocked out and the light was coming from the clouds. You couldn't even see the sky.

But that wasn't what unnerved you.

You knew where you were.

This was the Avengers Mansion.

And the world around you......was destroyed.

No fire. No smoke. No battle.

It was all destroyed.

Gone.

And in the center of it all, was a spiral. Like a mass of energy just collecting in the Sky. As if it was this world's sun.

Y/N: What world is this?

Suddenly, you felt a chill. Then, your senses went off.

Bang!

You were hit in the shoulder which caused you to lose your footing before falling back. You sat up and grabbed your wound.

Someone shot you.

You looked up and found a figure standing among the shadows. In their hand was a rifle.

???: Well, looks like someone decided to fucking show up. Or maybe you're here to do some strange shit. Either way, I don't know you.

She aimed the gun at you.

???: Who the fuck are you?

You slowly raised your hands.

Y/N: They call me Monster. Ah. Why did you shoot me?

???: I don't trust a damn thing here. Everything is just looking for chance to tear your fucking head off. Fucking cunts.

Wow. She had a mouth on her. Yet, every word was so elegant that you couldn't help but be impressed.

You flexed your shoulder and the bullet popped out as your wound healed. The figure watched in amazement.

???: How are you doing that?

Y/N: I have a healing factor. Jesus.

You looked down and noticed something. It wasn't a bullet that came out of your shoulder. It was a small sharp piece of plastic.

Y/N: Did you just shoot me with a green army man?

???: Ammo isn't exactly easy to come by these days. In case you haven't noticed.

You got to your feet as the figure stepped out into the "light". Your eyes then went wide.

???: Pardon my manners, love. I haven't seen another person in ages. My name is Elsa. Elsa Bloodstone.

She shook your hand before you rolled your shoulder around.

Y/N: So, uh, this is Earth, right?

Elsa shrugged.

Elsa: Pretty sure it is. Or, was. I have no idea. It was like this when I got here.

You raised a brow. So, she wasn't from here.

Elsa: I was hunting down a Witch. The bitch sent me here. Been here for about, uh, 75 Years?

Your eyes went wide.

Y/N: 75 years?! You look so young!

Elsa: First of all, thank you, love. Secondly, time works differently here. Every year here, is about an hour in my world. At least, I think so. I'm not quite sure.

75 years on her own? Must be lonely. Elsa looked out the window and towards the spiral.

Elsa: So far, I theorized that the fucking thing in the sky is why everything is like this.

Y/N: That spiral? Honestly, it seems like it.

Elsa: I've been staying here when I'm not hunting. Monsters are everywhere. I think they were animals before the energy here changed them. Don't seem to have any affect on us.

That was good news, at least. You rubbed your chin before you looked around. Maybe that spiral was also why the Doorway had opened.

Elsa turned to you and looked you from head to toe.

Elsa: So, you said they called you Monster. Why?

Y/N: I'm not an actual monster, if that's what you're asking. It was just a nickname people gave me. I have a lot of....power.

Elsa: Power? I could use some power.

You looked at her confused.

Elsa: I...uh...I want to ask you for your help.

Y/N: Well, that's kinda why I'm here.

Elsa shook her head.

Elsa: Not this. Trust me.

You looked at her confused.

You ended up standing in a room which had a working Quinjet inside. Elsa had a bag with her and turned to you.

Elsa: You know how to fly this thing?

You nodded.

Y/N: I do. But, uh, I don't know how far this can get us.

Elsa: I've been taking good care of it. Fixing it up with parts I found on my hunts.

Well, that was something at least. You just shrugged and stepped into the craft. You sat down in the cockpit and started to activate it. Elsa sat next to you as you heard ghe engine roar to life.

Y/N: Huh. Not bad.

Elsa: Thanks. Took me about 5 fucking years to figure out how it worked. Still can't fly worth a shit.

You nodded as you started the jet. It slowly lifted off the ground, through it was shaky. You took a deep breath and flew it out of the hangar and into the sky.

Y/N: Okay. Where am I going?

Elsa: Here.

She activated the dusty monitor which showed a signal.

Y/N: What is this?

Elsa: I don't know. This signal has been beeping for years now. Like an SOS or something.

You looked at the monitor confused.

Y/N: New Avalon? I've never heard of that place before.

Elsa: Me neither. But there might be more people there.

You chuckled.

Y/N: You gonna shoot them too?

Elsa: I thought you were a fucking monster. Turns out I was right.

You just smiled. Elsa sat back in her seat before she looked at you.

Elsa: How did you get here?

Y/N: Portal. I came here on purpose, though it looks like I came here alone. I had a team with me, but they must've gotten stuck on the other side.

Elsa: Wait, why? Why did you come here?

Y/N: Well, it's kinda hard to explain. But, in my world I'm a hero. That's why they call me Monster. I lead a team known as the Strikers. Kinda like the Avengers, but we attack the problem before it attacks us.

Elsa raised a brow.

Elsa: Who are the Avengers?

You just sighed.

Y/N: Must be from a different world, then.

Elsa: Maybe. I mean, this place is definitely different than my world. The World has definitely changed since 1945.

Your eyes went wide. 1945? Wait.....she might actually be from your world. Just from a different time!

Y/N: Uh, so....you've been alone since 1945? That must've sucked.

Elsa shrugged.

Elsa: Here and there. The only reason I still know how to talk is because the fucking monsters I hunt have surprisingly become my friends.

Y/N: Friends that...

Elsa: I kill. Yeah.

She then sigh.

Elsa: Although, I do miss having someone who can actually reply.

You smiled a bit.

Y/N: Well, I'm here now. Anything you'd like to talk about?

Elsa just laughed.

Elsa: So much! But....I don't know where to start.

Y/N: How about from the beginning? We got some time.

Elsa smiled and started to ramble on about random things.

It just felt good to have someone there to listen.

You landed the Quinjet and turned it off before you and Elsa got up. You fixed your jacket as Elsa walked towards the bay doors. She pulled out her rifles while you popped out your claws. Her eyes went wide.

Elsa: Uh....

Y/N: I'm a mutant. They start popping up around the 60s.

Elsa just nodded as you both stepped off the jet. You were now in a place known as New Avalon. A place that didn't exist in your world.

You walked around before you realized that this place used to be a kingdom or something. At least, it looked like it was a castle.

Spars, swords, and guns were laying around. Some were stuck in the ground while others were in what used to be soldiers. Now they were only skeletons.

They wore armor which seemed like knight gear, but they also had tech on them.

Elsa: The SOS is coming from here.

You looked up and noticed something that made your stomach drop.

Crosses.

They were all set up in front of the castle. But what really caught your eye was the name that was carved into the first one.

Elsa: What the hell is this shit?

You didn't answer. She turned just as you walked towards the crosses. You looked at the names.

Everyone. All names you knew. But that wasn't all. There were things on the crosses. Masks, helmets, capes......

Y/N: They're dead.

You dropped to your knees as you looked at the graves. This world, a battle happened here.

Everyone you knew died here.

Elsa watched as you fell forward to your hands.

Elsa: Monster? You alright, love? Did you know these people?

???: No. He didn't.

You both looked up at the booming voice. It came from the sky itself.

Y/N: What do you mean?! Who are you?!

???: A man with nothing left. Come to me. I will tell you what you want to know.

Your eyes fell on the spiral. The energy changed and shifted to reveal an opening. You and Elsa looked at each other before you stood up. Elsa walked towards the Quinjet but you stopped.

You looked back once more at the mask that was tied to Felicia's grave.

???: She's gone. They all are. But they are not yours.

You looked back at the spiral. You could almost see someone sitting in the center. Waiting.

A man who had lost everything.
