You rushed outside with Tandy towards the courtyard. Those flames, they looked almost like yours or Robbie's. But they didn't feel right. They felt....stronger.

Tandy: Do you think this is the threat?

Y/N: I don't know.

You finally reached a spot where you could see exactly what was going on. You could see Robbie out cold behind Jean as she hovered in the sky.

She stayed still for a moment before she suddenly turned around and pointed at you.

You looked behind you before turning back. You then pointed at yourself confused.

Jean: I sense it in you. Great power.

Tandy: Uh, Y/N....

Jean: It will be mine!

Before you could even react, you were suddenly in the night sky, being held by your collar.

Tandy: Y/N!

Everyone began to rush out as fast as they could in response to the scream they heard earlier. They looked up into the sky to see the bright ball of fire holding you up.

Jean: I am not complete. I need your power to be reborn.

You struggled before Jean brought you closer.

Jean: Give me your power, or be destroyed.

Y/N: Gah....at least....take me to...dinner...first...

Bobby: What is that?!

Scott: That's....Jean.

Tag looked at his friend with wide eyes. That was Jean? Since when could she do that? What was that?!

Tyrone vanished before he reappeared with the unconscious Robbie. He began to stir and open his eyes.

Warren: Fire dude, what's up with our friend?

Robbie sat up and rubbed his head.

Robbie: I don't know. She...she was in my head. Trying to see if something was still there. The Spirit tried to get her...but she fought it off and escaped. Then...that happened.

Everyone looked into the sky where Jean held you. You slowly reached up and grabbed her arm.

Y/N: You should really let me go. I'm not fond on fighting girls.

Jean: Then you are a foo...

She suddenly found herself crashing into the ground. You landed on your feet as steam emerged from your body.

Y/N: I think you misheard. I said "I'm not fond of fighting girls." Never said I wouldn't.

Jean stood from the small crater and looked at you with dangerous eyes. You could see her aura. It only grew and grew with every second. Whatever had a hold on Jean, it was powerful. Too powerful for you to take on withoit going all out.

Betsy: Jean!

Hank: Can someone get in her head? Calm her down, perhaps?

Rachel: It's pointless. Her mind is completely blank. It's not Jean anymore.

Tag: Well, guess we'll have to stop it from destroying....everything.

Everyone looked at Tag as he came to a realization.

Tag: Is she...the threat to your world?

The Strikers looked over to Jean then back to him.

Strikers: I hope not!

Jean: You are braver than most. However, your death will be the same.

She began to ascend to the sky but Tag quickly ran over to you.

Tag: Think you can do that thing you did earlier?

You looked at him confused.

Y/N: You mean use my powers? I can, but it'll destroy my body if I use it for too long. Or if I use too much.

Tag: Got it. Betsy, Emma, Rachel. I need you guys to focus and help Monster out. Wanda, think you can put a spell on him?

Wanda nodded. The four girls focused their powers on you. You could feel yourself grow lighter. Slowly, you smirked.

Y/N: Alright. Let's see what I can really do.

Tag took a step back as you took a deep breath. Jean put her hands together and released a powerful blast. Time slowed down as everyone watched. They all moved at once to help, but you just smiled.

Suddenly, the blast was reflected as a pillar of pure energy rose into the air, parting the clouds in the sky. The light from your power could be seen from even hundreds of miles away. A myriad of colors and power that no one had seen before.

You slowly opened your eyes, now fully the strange purple color, and looked at Jean.

Y/N: Now, let me show you why they call me a Godslayer!

You vanished from everyone's sight before you reappeared before Jean. You swung as she tried to block your blow.

She managed to do so, but she was still thrown back by the pure force alone. She growled before she released even more power that made the ground shake below.

Robbie: How much power does she have?

Tyrone: Her?! Look at Y/N!

Tag looked over at his name and waved.

All: The other Y/N.

Tag frowned as he lowered his hand.

You and Jean both flew up into the sky with a trail of flames and cosmic power following.

Tag: This is crazy. But....I can't even help. This power is leauges above my own. Not even my Void can hold ip against this.

He smiled as he looked into the sky.

Tag: He might be younger, but he's definitely more powerful.

You followed Jean before she stopped. She fired her energy down towards you, but you created a sheild to block the attack. You managed to hold it back, before you dispersed it into the air. You then created a bow of cosmic light which you aimed at Jean.

You pulled back the string and fired an arrow into the air.

It flew right past Jean.

Jean: This is the best you have to offer?

You smiled as you pointed behind her.

Y/N: Not quite.

Jean turned around as the arrow suddenly became many. She quickly created a cover to block the arrows, but she was too slow.

Hundreds of arrows rained upon her in repeat. Everyone watched as the arrows that didn't land began to rain from the sky. However, they all vanished before they could reach anyone.

Warren: Since when could he do this?!

Wanda: Never. He's never done this before.

Laura: Not even against the Sentinels.

Hank rubbed his chin as you and Jean fought in the skies.

Hank: So, he is able to do this because of Besty, Rachel, and Emma? And your...magic?

Wanda smiled as she looked into the sky.

Wanda: No. I did nothing. No one did. He just....thinks we did.

Everyone looked at her confused.

Betsy: But I...

Wanda: Used your powers. I blocked them out.

Tyrone: Why? Won't his powers tear him apart.

Wanda: Only because he deems so. Y/N is much stronger than he thinks himself to be.

Scott: So he's able to unlock his full power whenever he wants?

Tag: Not quite.

Everyone looked of to Tag who was still standing in the middle of the field. He had his hands in his pockets as he looked up at the sky. His eyes filled with wonder. A smile on his face.

X-23: What do you mean?

Tag: Simple, really. Monster is something more. He's more than a human. More than a mutant.

Robbie: You mean...like a Godslayer?

Tag: No.

Tag slowly reached a hand into the sky and smiled even wider.

Tag: He's a hero.

You flew around Jean and towards the moon above. There, you turned back and reached out your arms. Jean watched as your clothes began to change. Morph into something else.

Your clothes changed from a shirt and shorts to what appeared to be armor of somekind.

Robbie: What is that?

Wanda: That....must be his true power.

Jean watched as you lifted your blade into the sky.

Jean: You'll destroy her as well!

Y/N: Maybe.

You then brought your blade down upon her. The force of the slice flew towards her at amazing speeds, before it struck her.

Everyone watched as the impact expanded through the night sky. Wanda watched with wide eyes as the cosmos itself seemed to open up and reveal itself to all. The stars, the planets, even distant galaxies.

All in view.

Jean's power quickly vanished, leaving her unconscious. Her body began to wall from the sky, but all watched as wings of light sprouted from your back. Your sword and shield vanished as you flew as fast as you could.

You caught Jean and held her as you hovered there.

Warren: Woah. And they call me Angel.

Tag smiled as he looked at you. Your eyes may not be the same as before, but he knew without a doubt that it was you.

The Monster of Power.

You watched as Jean slowly opened her eyes.

Jean: Wha....what happened?

You smiled kindly.

Y/N: You don't need to worry. You're safe now.

You slowly descended from the sky and touched down. It seemed that the grass around you came to life with your touch. You slowly set Jean down on her feet as everyone made their way to you.

Jean held her head as Scott reached her.

Scott: Are you alright?

Jean nodded. He supported her as your team walked towards you. You looked up into the sky to see what you had done. It was...beautiful.

Slowly, you felt the power leave you as you sighed. Your clothes returned to normal and felt your body get sore immediately as Tandy got her power ready.

However, your body was fine. You shook your hand a bit before you turned back to your friends. Your eyes were now F/C once again.

Robbie: What the hell did you do just now? And why haven't you done it sooner?

You rubbed the back of your neck and shrugged.

Y/N: I have no idea and I have no idea. Felt good, though.

You grinned like a dork as you remembered what it felt like to go all out like that.

Laura: Looks like you were stronger than back at the Wellspring.

Y/N: I felt stronger. Like I could take on the world. No. The entire universe.

Everyone watched as you looked at your hand with a grin.

A sinister one.

You then laughed.

Y/N: I felt like I was strong. Stronger than ever before. Strong enough to save everyone. Strong enough to make sure no one will get hurt ever again.

Everyone took a step back as your body began to glow again. Your eye slowly began to change.

Y/N: No one would be able to stop me. No one would ever hurt the ones I love again.

Tandy: Y/N?

You slowly looked up and froze. All eyes were on you.

Eyes of fear.

Your smile slowly began to fade before you felt a hand on your shoulder.

Tag: Take it easy there, bud.

He then pulled his hand back.

Tag: That hurts.

He shook his hand off as you turned around. He smiled as he held his hand to let it heal.

Tag: Why don't we talk before you go all Godkiller on us again?

Robbie: Godslayer!

Tag: Godwhatever. Look, kid, you want to help your friends? Keep them from harm's way?

You didn't answer. You didn't have to.

Tag: Then start by getting stronger. Not physically. Mentally.

He placed a finger on your forehead, then flicked you. Everyone watched in fear to see what you would do. But, to their surpise, nothing happened. You looked at him with wide eyes.

You then snickered. Tag smiled as you powered down again and started to laugh. You both laughed with each other as the others watched.

Tyrone: Holy shit. I damn near pissed myself.

Bobby: I actually pissed myself.

Tag placed a hand in your shoulder again. You looked at your older counterpart as he smiled at you.

Tag: You still got a long way to go, Y/N. And...I think that goes for the both of us.

It was the next day when you all stood in front of the school. You were all dressed back in your normal clothes while the X-Men all gathered to send you off.

Y/N: So, we reached an agreement.

Tag: We keep an eye on Jean....

Robbie: And we won't have to try and, uh, get rid of her.

Everyone awkwardly agreed to the terms. You and Tag both stepped forward and shook hands.

Y/N: Well, it was nice to meet you guys. Maybe we can meet up again and fight a bad guy. That, uh, isn't your friend.

Tag: Yeah. And maybe next time you'll have a better grasp on your powers.

Y/N: Here's to hoping.

Robbie walked over to Jean and rubbed the back of his neck.

Robbie: Hey. Sorry about everything.

Jean looked at him confused.

Jean: None of this was your fault. It was all...me.

Robbie shook his head.

Robbie: No. It was my...possession that triggered, whatever it was that's in you.

Jean smiled fondly as she placed a hand on his cheek.

Jean: How about we meet half way and say we shouldn't have done what we did to begin with?

Robbie smiled.

Robbie: Sounds good.

The two looked at each other before they realized how quiet it was. They both looked over and saw that everyone was watching them. They both turned red as everyone smiled teasingly.

Warren: What about a kiss?

Wanda: Don't leave us hanging.

The two separated and looked away in embarrassment.

Bobby: How cute.

Tyrone walked over to the clearing and opened his cloak. Wanda walked over to Tag and smiled.

Wanda: Remember our discussion. Enjoy the small things in life. And take a break every once and a while.

She looked over his shoulder at this world's Laura.

Wanda: And enjoy the company you keep. She's cute in this world.

Tag: Thanks. And yours is....

They both looked over to see your Laura standing there with her arms crossed. She had a scowl on her face.

Tag: Nice?

Wanda: She grows in you.

Tag nodded and looked at his younger self.

Tag: Hey, do me a favor?

Wanda raised a brow.

Tag: Keep an eye on him. Make sure he goes down the right path.

Wanda smiled as she nodded.

Wanda: As you say, Darling~

Tag blushed at the name but rolled his eyes regardless. Wanda laughed as she rejoined her team. You all said your goodbyes and walked over to Tyrone.

Y/N: Til next time. See you later, muties.

Tag: Yeah. See you around, freaks.

You smiled as you and your team stepped through Tyrone's cloak. He closed in on himself, leaving the mutants alone.

Scott: Well, that was something.

Tag: Yep.

They stood there for a moment.

Tag: I need a drink.

All: Agreed!

You stepped back onto the snow of Burns, Alaska for the first time in what felt like weeks. You all breathed a sigh of relief.

Y/N: I missed the snow.

Robbie: I missed our world.

Tandy: I missed my bed.

Tyrone: My shows!

You all looked up as Tyrone broke out into a full sprint back towards the Manor. You all stood there for a moment before you sighed.

Y/N: Right. Back to training for me.

Tandy: Seriously? You don't want a break after last night?

Robbie: You should be exhausted by now.

You just shrugged. You weren't tired. Just, restless. You reached up and scratched your neck as it began to itch again.

Then, suddenly, something happened.

You felt something move from your neck down to under your shirt. You let out a scream that caused everyone to look at you.

Wanda: Y/N?

Y/N: Something's crawling on me!

Laura: Oh, stop being a baby. It's probably a bug, or something.

Or so they thought. Suddenly, something began to cover your skin. Change it to something else. Your team watched as you were engulfed in a mess of red and black. Your screams got deeper until it was nothing more than growls and screams.

Robbie: Is that one of his powers?

Wanda: No. That's a...

Laura: Symbiote.

You let out one last scream towards the sky.

Tandy: Y/N?

You slowly looked down at them.

Y/N: No. We are.....Toxin!
