Geoffrey: EAT LEAD, PIGS!

Geoffrey Wilder opened fire on the pursuing police as he drove through the streets of East LA. In the passenger seat was his wife, Catherine. She was counting the cash from their least job while her husband provided the getaway.

These two were Chase's parents.

Catherine: Baby, you're my hero.

Geoffrey: So you don't believe what your ma said? About me not being marriage material?

Catherine just smiled.

Catherine: You know, I'm glad we eloped, Geoff. We're gonna run this town one day, just like...

???: Geoffrey and Catherine Wilder, you've been summoned.

The two looked at the mysterious voice before they suddenly found themselves vanishing in a bright light.

Across the city, a crowd began to gather around the sudden appearance of something else all together.

Dale and Stacey Yorkes. The parents of Gertrude Yorkes.

Stacy: You worthless meshuggener! You've stranded us in the 2000's! Have you ever read a history book?! This is the worst possible decade you could've landed us in!

Dale: Technically that would be the 2020's, dear. Relax. Just a minor misalignment on our 4-D portico. I'll have us up and running in no time.

Stacy: "No time" is what I'm worried about! We have to get these artifacts back before...

???: Dale and Stacy Yorkes, you've been summoned.

The two suddenly found themselves vanishing in a bright light.

In a neighborhood, merely blocks away, a group gathered in the front lawn of a married couple. But, they were not kind.

Man: Mutie scum!

He threw a rock which hit the side of Alice Hayes. Beside her was her husband, Gene. Parents to Molly.

Alice: No! Please! Me and my husband have been good neighbors! We're not...

Gene: Stop whimpering, Alice! I'm tired of this!

He stepped forward as his eyes began to glow a pink color. He stood in front of his wife to defend her.

Gene: Let's show these man-apes what evolution looks like...

???: Gene and Alice Hayes, you've been summoned.

The crowd watched as the couple were suddenly engulfed in a bright light.

All over Las Angeles, couples were taken from their doings. Victor and Janet Stein, parents of Chase. Robert and Tina Minoru, parents of Nico. Frank and Leslie Dean, parents of Karolina.

They were gathered by an unknown force. One that was the catalyst for the Pride. The true enemy.

The Gibborim.

Tandy: Whoa!

Everyone looked up at her sudden interruption.

Tandy: Back up. The what now?

You were all sitting around in a circle with takeout while Alex read from the journal.

Alex: Uh, the Gibborim. I think I read that right.

Gertrude: I think it's Hebrew. For, uh, "mighty men" or something.

Nico: The Gibborim are also mythical evil giants who supposedly predate the Old Testament. I can't remember if they're related to Nephilim, but I'm pretty sure had six fingers and six toes and...

She slowly stopped when she realized everyone was staring at her with confused faces. She blushed a bit and sank down into her seat.

Nico: What? I like books about monsters and stuff.

Tandy: Then you'll love the Manor. We pretty much live in a monster.

Chase: What does that mean?

Y/N: It means I killed a space God and now we love in it's corpse.

The Runaways stared at you with wide eyes. You just tossed another piece of chicken into your mouth. How were you so nonchalant about that?

Kate: Actually, I've never seen it before.

Loki: It is most impressive.

Gertrude: Uh, can we get back to our evil parents and the evil giants?

Y/N: Oh, right. Continue.

Alex nodded and cleared his throat.

Alex: It says here that the Gibborim offered them six tickets into paradise if they helped destory the earth. Once a year they would have to meet to preform a Blood Rite for them.

Laura: For six tickets? But there's 12 of them.

Y/N: Just means you gotta work harder to impress the bosses. What is this Blood Rite?

Karolina: From what we gathered, it's when they sacrificed an adolescent female to the Gibborim.

Nico: It was the same satanic crap that sent us packing.

You nodded as you rubbed your chin. So every year for the last 20 years, they've sacrificed a girl to these giants. All for half of them to be left behind.

Laura: So what I'm hearing is that we need to hurry up and stop these people. No one is getting those tickets.

Chase: Yeah, but those six tickets weren't for them.

Molly: They were for us.

You all looked at the teens as they all hung their head down. You suddenly realized...there were six of them.

Kate: So everything they did...

Crystal: It was for them. Parents securing a future for their offspring. It would be noble under any other circumstance.

Y/N: And I thought my dad was a horrible criminal. Thankfully, he reformed. And once we deal with the Pride, Molly will be my sister.

Nico: What?

Everyone seemed surpised by this. You and Molly just smiled as you petted her.

Y/N: Yep. Victor is going to adopt her. That way she won't be....taken...away....

Tandy watched as you suddenly came to a realization. Seemed like the Runaways had the same one.

Chase: We'll be....taken in by the cops. Sent to homes.

They will be separated. Sent all across the country. Alone.

Laura gave it some thought before she snapped her fingers.

Laura: You know, we could use some help around the Manor. Like, actual staff instead of Wakandan drones.

You sat up.

Y/N: And we can protect them the same way we did with Loki and Amora.

Kate: And that's a great idea and everything, but we should probably get to work with stopping the Pride, first.
