Namor: Tell your governments! Your navies! Your energy companies that turn the oceans black! Tell them that they are no longer welcome upon these waves! And if they don't like it, then tell them they can talk to me!

Namor tore open a larger hole in the side of the research center and entered in with his soldiers. However, he found another group already there waiting for him.

Y/N: Alright, Namor. Let's talk.

You stood with your team between Namor and the scientists still inside.

Namor: I have no more to say to you or your flunkies, Monster!

Robbie: Did he say flunkies? How old is this guy?

Wanda: Namor, we've been doing everything we can to broker peace between Atlantis and the world.

Y/N: Even after you killed those Roxxon gunners in their cell. And damn near killed Stingray.

Namor approached you.

Namor: Executed, boy. Those Roxxon murders were rightfully executed. But not by me. By the sea itself. And I have no more friends from the surface.

Y/N: The sea isn't the one I see terrorizing innocent people here, Namor. It's you. And this team filled with psychopaths and criminals you call Defenders.

Namor: Says the biggest criminal of all. A man who has now vowed to see me dead. These people are trespassing, Strikers. And so are you. Take them and never return.

You narrowed your eyes at him before you sighed.

Y/N: Fine. Let us evacuate them and we'll go in peace. For now. But trust me when I say, the world won't abide to this.

Before you could continue, you heard a growling noise. You both looked over to see man sized Piranhas heading toward two researchers.

Namor: Piranha, stand down!

The beasts didn't listen. They charged at the two, but Loki threw two knives which sent them falling away.

King Crab: They draw first blood! Now it's on!

Orka: I call the red head!

King Crab: Hey, I wanted her!

Elsa pulled out her guns and aimed them at the two giants.

Elsa: No need to fight, boys. There's enough bullets to go around!

She opened fire at the two as they attacked.

Wanda created a shield as Tiger Shark lunged at her. She threw him away while everyone else jumped into the fray and picked a partner.

Tyrone: Don't even try to blame us for this one!

Y/N: Cloak is right, Namor! We tried to help, but you brought this on yourself!

Namor: Damnit, Creed. I warned you people. Never interfere with aquatic business again.

He reached down and pulled out a large chunk of metal and held it over his head.

Namor: I also promised that there would be no further warnings! Imperius Rex, you bastard!

You popped out your claws and sliced the chunk of metal in half before you charged forward.

Y/N: Strikers, STRIKE!

Tandy: Sorry, you heard the boss. Time to go back to the aquarium, little mermaid!

She summoned daggers but she was quickly wrapped up by a large tail, courtesy of Echidna.

Echidna: In a thousand years they haven't built a cage that could hold me! The mother of monsters! I will crack you open like an oyster!

Tandy: Oh, god. I got a magical one! Loki! Switch!

Loki, however, was occupied. King Crab locked his claw around Loki's neck and lifted him up.

Loki: It's been a while since I had crab. I don't know whether I will bludgeon you or eat you!

King Crab: I'm going to do a bit of both with you, lying god!

Molly kicked Orka who slid back a bit. He then caught her fists.

Orka: Your skin moved when I touch you. What kind of hero are you?

Molly: The dangerous kind!

She lifted Orka up and slammed him down before she kicked him away. She then leaped to follow.

Wanda struggled to escape the pursing tentacles as Andromeda watched. Wanda knew her from the older Wanda's memories. That's why the whole thing baffled her.

Wanda: Andromeda, this isn't like you! Don't let Namor's anger blind you!

Andromeda: You think his anger isn't justified? Then let me introduce you to my good friend, Bloodtide!

From the water came another figure. One that looked sick. That looked dead.

Andromeda: She was the happiest little girl in Atlantis before you ravaged her flesh with your pollution! Now she is a mutated witch!

Bloodtide held up a hand and Robbie felt the ground move. He turned to Elsa who also felt the shift. They then looked around at the water and noticed the faint trail of blood.

Elsa: Oh my fucking God.

Robbie: Uh, guys? Can I have some backup with mine? She has zombie sharks.

The Shark jumped up and grabbed Robbie before pulling him under. Elsa got to work with charging towards Bloodtide.

Bloodtide: Do you feel it? The rage of the sea? You will. And all the death that you given it will be returned tenfold!

Elsa fired off some shots which hit Bloodtide. However, the witch looked at her wounds and turned to Elsa.

Elsa: What? Do something!

Bloodtide: I will make you suffer.

She flew towards Elsa and tackled her under the water.

You dodged Namor's attack and instead delivered one of your own. You were way out of your element right now. Everyone was.

Well, Elsa was used to fighting witches and stuff, but not underwater!

You grabbed Namor and slammed him against the wall before you threw him. He hit the water but immediately jumped back up.

Y/N: Look at what you're doing, Namor! Look at what you've become!

He charged at you but you blasted out of the way and landed.

Y/N: These people are all going to die because of you!

Namor: No, Creed! You will die! And they are going go watch!

He charged at you but you ignited your fists and punched him down to the floor. Namor jumped up and kicked your chest which sent you flying into the wall.

Namor: This is not a game, Striker! The old rules no longer apply! This is the new order of the world! And if the ocean's defenders must go to war, then war it will be!

???: You say you're looking for a war, fishface?

You both turned to see a third group enter the center. Great. Yeah. Fuck it.

Ursa: One just showed the hell up!

Dynimo: We are the Winter Guard and we've come for justice! Namor of Atlantis! You are under arrest for your crimes against the Russian people in the Black Sea!

You and Namor watched as they marched in.

Y/N: Shit.

Laura: So this is where you grew up?

Laura dried her hair with a towel that Pearl gave her after it started raining.

Pearl: Yep.

She closed the bedroom door as Laura looked around. She noticed the many swimming trophies on the dresser and shelves. Her eye then landed on something else.

Laura: Alontech.

She picked up Pearl's old badge and looked at it. Pearl just sighed.

Pearl: Where it all started.

She took the badge from Laura.

Pearl: Come on. I got some clothes you can barrow. After that, I'll show you around.

Laura nodded in agreement and Pearl opened a drawer. She pulled out a fresh set of clothes and handed them to Laura before she grabbed some clothes for herself.

The two girls stripped down and changed before Pearl lead Laura back outside.

Pearl: I'm not going to let him keep those swords.

Laura: I know. I know. Let's just get something to eat first then we can...

Woman: <Pearl? Is that you?>

Pearl stopped and turned around. Laura did the same and found an older woman standing there with an umbrella. She walked over towards the girls and smiled.

Woman: <You're home.>

Peral: <Hi, Tita Rita...>

Rita: <Does your Lolo know you're back?>

Pearl looked at Laura who just nodded.

Pearl: <Er, no. Not yet. It was kind of an unexpected trip.>

Rita: <Ay Mija. You must tell him immediately. He's so proud of you.>

She stopped and looked over to Laura.

Rita: <And who is this you brought with you?>

Pearl looked at Laura and hesitated.

Pearl: <This is, uh, Laura. She's a friend.>

Rita: <Oh, thank God! You need friends. You can be so cranky sometimes....>

Pearl: <Tita! Anyway, we should be go...>

Suddenly, more people began to approach the girl as she nervously stood there. Laura noticed how awkward she seemed.

Made sense. Especially after the day she already had.

But Laura didn't mind. They had time.

Ursa: Step aside, Monster. Let a real animal take it from here. Perun! Chernobog! You heard the boss. Take Namor into custody. Don't worry about being gentle.

Two, things, stepped forward. One looked like an older Thor, and the other looked like a nuclear mess.

Perun: Aye! With pleasure!

Chernobog: I do hope he resists.

Namor didn't even budge. He just clenched his fists as you stood between the Russians and the Atlantians.

Namor: Strikers. Russian Super Soldiers. Let the surface world send all the armies they want! Their carcassonne will litter the depths!

Y/N: Namor, calm down!

Perun: You should watch your tounge when you speak to a god,God, Man of Atlantis.

Chernobog: Step aside, kid.

Namor: Man or Hulk or God, I care not! You are all just air and bones to me!

He leaped over you and punched at Perun.

And the expected happened.

A major brawl broke out.

The Strikers were surpised by the sudden arrival of the Russians, but they were all here for the same reason.

To bring down Namor and stop a war.

So, you made an order.

Y/N: Help the Winter Guard! Bring down the Defenders of the Deep!

Ursa and Loki took King Crab.

Robbie and Darkstar took on Bloodtide and her army of undead fish.

Crimson Dynimo fought the massive octopus while Wanda focused on Andromeda.

Vanguard and Tandy worked to take down Echidna.

Molly and Doreen ended up with Orka.

Tyrone fought against the Piranhas.

And Elsa joined forces with an android known as Vistok for Tiger Shark.

That left four left.

You, Perun, Chernobog, and Namor.

And you weren't going to let Namor get away again.

You charged forward and slammed a foot against Namor's crossed arms. You leaped away just as Perun and Chernobog charged forward. They both swung at the same time which sent Namor flying across the dome.

Perun: Now, feel your defeat at the hands of a true God!

Perun went in for the kill, but Chernobog stopped him.

Chernobog: What are you doing?! He is my kill!

Perun: Unhand me, beast!

He pulled his arm away and punched Chernobog. Chernobog stumbled back before he let out a growl and leaped at Perun.

Loki: You double god! You never double god!

The two gods exchanged blows as Namor recovered from the hit. He wiped the blood from.his mouth and looked around.

He was outnumbered, and now outpowered. He gritted his teeth in anger.

Namor: Defenders of the Deep, fall back!

The Defenders of the Deep all seemed surpised by the order, but they knew better than to argue with their king. They all quickly fled from their respective fights and dove into the ocean. Everyone else began to surround Namor as he backed up towards the edge of the center.

Y/N: Give it up, Namor. We can talk this through.

Dynimo: Nonsense. He is coming with us. He'll be locked away in a Russian prison for the rest of his miserable life.

Y/N: International waters, Dynimo. Step down.

Namor rolled his eyes and quickly jumped into the water. You ran forward to stop him, but he was long gone.

Ursa: Great. Now neither of us gets him. Typical Americans.

Elsa: Like you cunts are any better. Who the fuck let a fucking bear onto their team?

The Strikers all gathered with you while the Winter Guard stood across the way.

Dynimo: Well, since you let them get away, I assume you want to take their place...

Red Widow: Enough.

Your team jumped at the voice as you suddenly found someone standing in front of you. It was like they literally appeared out of thin air.

Vanguard: The Red Widow. She speaks.

Red Widow stared at you for a moment before she hummed. She didn't seem very cheery. You couldn't even see her eyes through her mask.

Red Widow: Putin likes this one. Something about him having guts.

Putin?

Y/N: Oh! That dude that I did bunny ears to.

Darkstar: You did, what?!

You pulled out your phone and held up the picture.

Dynimo: You disrespected our president?!

Red Widow: I said enough! Winter Guard, we're done here. Russia is in support of the Strikers.

They were?

Dynimo: They interfered with our business. I gave no such order fo stand down....

Red Widow suddenly pulled out a blade and held it mere inches away from his face.

Red Widow: We're leaving. Unless you wish for me to blow you bits right here in front of everybody.

Dynimo seemed like he wanted to argue, but he knew better. Dynimo looked at you one last time, and turned away.

Dynimo: Winter Guard, we're done here.

He walked away. His team stood there for a moment, before they followed. Red Widow lowered her blade and turned back to you. She suddenly leaned forward so that your nose was touching her mask.

Red Widow: We will be watching you.

She put her blade away and followed her team. You stood there for a moment before you shook your head.

Y/N: Well....guess Russia supports us.

Molly: It's not just them.

Everyone looked at her as Toxin moved back to her shoulder. She showed you her phone and you looked at the news article.

Seems like a majority of the UN supported the Strikers.

Smart.

Tandy: Well, at least that's one last thing we have to worry about.

Loki: Yes, yes. That is great. However, Namor is still free. What do we do about that?

You sighed as you gave Molly her phone back.

Y/N: We can't do anything right now. Not til Laura returns with Pearl. If she even joins us. For now, we go about things as we always do. You all did good today.

Elsa: We didn't even do anything.

Robbie: Tell me about it. I miss having my car with me.

Y/N: We'll bring it on the next one. For now, let's head back to base. I think we earned our rest.

A job well done.

At least, as well as it could've gone.
