We got two new members with the Strikers now. Everyone say hello to Ghost Rider and Wolverine!

Wasp: Did she quit the Program?

Wolverine: Oh, yeah. I quit.

Cloak: You didn't quit before you left?

Monster: Dude.

Dagger: That's cold.

Ironheart: WTF?!

Polaris: But we need X-Men here! It's just me and Magik now!

Nova: Stop stealing people, Monster!

Monster: I didn't know!

Waitress: I swear. Every time you come in here, you have more and more people with you.

Y/N: Bigger tips.

The waitress laughed as she poured you another cup of coffee. Your arm was feeling better since Tandy healed it up and you took a dip in the hotspring. Plus, about a week has passed.

Robbie: So, no one can cook?

You all shook your head.

Robbie: And no one cleans?

Wanda: Victor does.

Robbie: And who does the laundry?

You and Wanda looked at each other.

Y/N: I mean, when it was just me and Wanda, we kinda switched. But since we got more people, two of which are female, Wanda took it over. Plus, magic makes everything easier.

Tandy: Regardless of chores, I have to say that we are looking like an actual team, now.

True. There were six of you now. Watch your back Dormammu. Round two is going to be harder!

Tyrone: What do you two think about the training regime we got going on?

Robbie groaned while Laura sighed.

Laura/Robbie: It sucks.

Y/N: Yep.

Laura: I like that Creed is pushing us, but this is crazy. I swear, if I didn't have my healing factor I would've gotten frost bite by now.

Robbie: Thank God for that springs you guys have. What is it, anyway? You guys just keep saying magic. And how did we just end up here? We barely left LA and we were suddenly at the edge of Alaska.

Wanda: Magic. That's all we can say about it.

Tyrone: Investigations are still in progress.

The waitress returned with the food and set it down in front of you. You all started to eat as you thought back on how Victor reacted.

Victor: You're kidding.

Laura crossed her arms and looked at Victor with a glare. Robbie just hung back, nervous and intimidated at Victor's build. He also noticed Wanda and Tandy nearby watching.

Y/N: Pops, this is Laura and Robbie. Our newest members.

Victor: I know who she is.

Laura: We've met.

You looked between the two of them.

Laura: Why doesn't he smell like you?

Victor: The experiments. You reek of Logan.

Laura: He is my father.

Robbie just stood there for a moment before he held iut his hand.

Robbie: Hey. I'm Robbie. Reyes. Well, my name is Roberto but just call me Robbie.

Victor looked at the boy before he shook his hand.

Victor: Robbie. Blaze told me about you. Hope you're as good as he said.

Tyrone: Victor looked like he was ready to rumble when he met you. What was up with that?

Laura rolled her eyes. She never did explain that.

Laura: Him and my dad are arch enemies.

Everyone nodded in understanding before they went back to their food.

Tyrone: So, any new missions lined up?

Tandy: And if so, are we going as well? Or are you leaving us in the dust again.

Y/N: Trust me, if I knew how things were going to turn out, I would've dragged you guys along, too. But, no. No new mission.

Wanda: Good. You need to rest. Although, I am surpised that you were able to actually use your powers like that.

You looked at your arm and saw that it was looking a bit better. Slightly scared, though. It was true. You had tried it again and you discovered that you could use your power for about 10 seconds before it seriously damaged your body.

Robbie: So, how powerful are you, exactly?

Everyone looked at you, but you just shrugged.

Y/N: No clue. Never used my power at max strength before.

Robbie almost chocked on his food. So, the fight in the desert, wasn't your full power? Well, it might have been. You never pushed yourself too hard before.

Laura: What about when Doom threw you into that wellspring?

You shrugged. You had no real way to tell if that was the peak. Maybe it was. Maybe it wasn't. Who honestly knew?

Suddenly, a vortex of fire appeared near the table causing everyone in the diner to scream in horror. Damon appeared and sighed with his arms crossed.

Damon: Maybe I should just use the door.

Tyrone: You think?!

Damon: I'll do it next time. Anyway, I hope you all aren't busy at the moment.

You all looked at him confused. Looks like you had something to do after all.

Tandy: Why are we out here?

Damon didn't answer her question. He just kept walking through the woods with you and the others following behind. You had been walking for a while now, but Damon hasn't filled you in at all at what he was going to show you.

Wanda: What is this?

Robbie raised a brow before he felt it too. A strange kind of energy.

Robbie: Woah. Why do I suddenly feel like I'm swimming?

Tandy lifted her hand and felt a bit of that energy as well. So did Tyrone. You and Laura, however, were in the dark.

Stupid magical energy.

Damon: You kids wanted to know why Burns is the way it is. Well, I'm going to tell you.

You all suddenly ended up in a clearing. There, you found a strange structure in the middle. Branches wrapped around each other and twisted around in an arch shape that was about the same height as a door.

Damon walked over to it, but kept a certain distance.

Damon: Burns doesn't exist. Yet here we are.

Tyrone: What does that mean?

Damon: It means what it means. Burns isn't in Alaska. It's not even on the same plane of existence.

You all looked at him with raised brows.

Damon: Kids, the reason weird things happen here, why you feel safe yet a strange sense of strangeness, is because Burns is placed at the center of everything. Burns is the center of the universe.

Everyone reacted with some kind of surpise and confusion. The center of the universe? How does that work?

Damon: This was where the Infinity Stones were created. Ever since the Celestials left this place, it has called to those who long for a place to belong. Where people long to get lost.

Wanda: What does that mean?

Tandy: This place was where those weird stones were made?

Damon nodded.

Damon: It means that no one can find it unless they've already been there, or the universe decides that they should be here. Magic and Celestial energy is what binds this place together. It's a beacon to everything all at once, but go nothing.

He turned back to you all and awkwardly smiled.

Damon: Sorry if that doesn't make sense. That's the best way I can explain it.

You slowly nodded. Okay? That kinda made sense, in a way.

Robbie: So, what's this thing?

Damon looked at the structure.

Damon: This here is a doorway. Where it leads, I don't know. That's why you need to investigate it.

Laura: So, does anyone ever look into things on their own, or....?

Damon just let out a dry laugh.

Damon: Keep your eyes out, kids. These doorways are everywhere. They could lead to paradise, or hell. But you are all the guardians of Burns, now. You have to protect it.

You all stood there for a moment before you all looked at each other.

Damon: So, who's going to take a peek?

You shrugged and stepped forward. You were the leader, after all. You sighed as you turned back to your team.

Y/N: Anyone else?

Tandy just rolled her eyes and stepped forward. So did Robbie.

Robbie: Might as well get some experience.

Tandy: You need someone to heal you if you decide to tear yourself apart again.

You smiled as you turned back to Damon.

Damon: Alright. All you three have to do is just...step through.

Robbie: Can I take my car?

Damon shook his head.

Damon: You cannot.

Robbie sighed and kicked some snow while you rolled your eyes.

Y/N: Relax. This'll be a quick mission. In and out. Easy as that.

Damon knew that wasn't going to happen. But the three of you didn't really care. You put on your mask while Tandy rolled her shoulders. Robbie smoked his chain and took a deep breath.

And so, you lead the three through the doorway.

However, you found everything turned to a blinding white.

The three of you found the ground missing from beneath your feet and you screamed out as you began to fall. The white abyss seemed to consume you as your screams soon went dead silent.

Back on the other side, the others watched.

Damon: Well, I'll be back around tomorrow.

Tyrone: Wait. You're leaving?

Damon nodded.

Damon: Trust me, kid. I can't do anything to help out from here. It's all up to the three of them now.

He gave a wave and wished you luck. He then vanished into a vortex of fire. However, right when he vanished, something strange happened.

The doorway began to react strangely causing everyone to took a step back.

Laura: Uh, what the hell?

Tyrone: Wanda?

Wanda: I don't know what this is.

The doorway began to glow before three figures were suddenly thrown from it. However, it was two girls and one boy. And none of them looked like you.

???: What the hell?

???: Ah! My head.

The three groaned in pain as the looked up. They spotted the three Strikers standing there, but their eyes grew wide.

???: Wanda? Wait, Laura?

Tyrone: Friends of yours?

Wanda and Laura shook their heads. They didn't know these people. Or, at least not like this.

Laura: Wait. Warren? Emma?

However, the third person was what really came as a shock.

Tyrone: Wait. Why are there two of you?

Laura looked down at the other Laura in the snow confused.

Lauras: How the hell....?

You and your team hit the ground with groans before you heard the sound of people running towards you.

Y/N: Ow. Why?

You rolled over and pushed yourself up on your hands and knees. The footsteps stopped and you heard whoever it was suddenly go on guard.

???: Who are you?! Identify yourself!

???: Geez, Summers. Can you sound more cliché?

You looked over and found a group of people standing there, all ready for a fight.

Your eyes grew wide when you recognized a few.

Y/N: Bobby? Scott? How....you look so young.

Scott reached up and touched his visor, powering it on.

Scott: I have no idea who you are, but you have some questions to answer.

Another boy stepped forward. He wore a black leather jacket with F/C lining on the arms and zipper. He also wore a bandanna around his neck.

???: How about we start with this. What did you do to Laura, Emma, and the one with wings?

Bobby: Warren.

???: Yeah. That one.

You slowly got to your feet as along with Robbie and Tandy. The three of you found yourselves faced with 5 people. X-Men.

Y/N: I have no idea what you're talking about. Look, we just ended up here. We mean no harm. We're a team known as the Strikers.

Scott: Strikers? Never heard of you.

Robbie: We're still new.

???: Whatever. How about we do this. You seem like a reasonable dude. Let's introduce ourselves before we start blasting away.

You nodded.

Y/N: I'm Monster. This is Ghost Rider and Dagger.

???: Nice to meet you, Monster. This is Cyclops, Marvel Girl, Beast, and Ice Man.

He then held out his hand.

???: And you can call me Tag.
