You and Tandy reached the tower and began to sneak around. Mindless Ones were everywhere. Preparing for the wedding.

So, it was an actual wedding. That was kinda....cute?

Tandy: There he is!

She pointed up above and you found Tyrone standing there, over watching everything below. You and Tandy nodded to each other and started towards the staircase.

You reached the pathway Tyrone was and you stopped Tandy.

Y/N: Wait up. Tyrone isn't in control anymore. We should be careful with this.

Tandy nodded. Slowly, the two of you approached Tyrone. He heard you and turned around.

Tandy: Ty? Is that you?

He responded but floating up and slamming the sides of his cloak down at you. You grabbed Tandy and leaped out of the way as the fabric destroyed the pathway you were on.

Y/N: Nope. Wrong number.

You set Tandy down as Tyrone flew towards you. You activated one of the marks on your hand, and found a magic rope like object in your hands. Tyrone reached you, but you slid under him while throwing up the rope. It wrapped around him and you slammed him to the ground.

Tyrone began to growl on the ground as Tandy and you approached him.

Tandy: Ty, I know you can hear me, bro! Use my light! Fight the darkness!

Tyrone contiued to struggle as you held onto the rope. Tandy reached out her hand and summoned her powers to create an energy of light in her hand. She then threw it at him.

He growled and Tandy repeated the motion.

Y/N: This feels....so wrong.

Tyrone broke free from the rope and turned around. He then charged at Tandy, but she held up the light to his face. Tyrone suddenly stopped, and his eyes returned to normal.

Tandy: Gah! I think...I blinded...the demon....but, ah! I can't hold him forever.

Y/N: Wait, Dormammu only controls his body, then. What about his mind?

Tandy suddenly got an idea.

Y/N: You need to go inside of his cloak! It's the only way.

You nodded. You approached the cloak, but Tandy stopped you.

Tandy: Take this.

She created a dagger of light and handed it to you. You nodded and took a deep breath before you charged into Tyrone's cloak.

You stopped once you realized you were surrounded by darkness. It was pitch black in here. You held up the dagger of light and looked around. Better not use your fire in here. Who knows what that would do to Tyrone.

It was quiet. You couldn't even hear your own footsteps as you walked around.

Y/N: It's oddly, peaceful in here.

You stopped walking when you suddenly walked onto something. You jumped back with a scream but realized you were alone.

Y/N: Uh, hello?! I know you're there. Can you, I dunno, turn on the lights or something? Please?

You looked around.

Y/N: Ty, I know it's you. At least, I'm seriously hoping it is.

???: Who are you?

The voice sounded distorted. But it was Tyrone's. You could tell.

Y/N: It's me. Monster. Tandy is really worried about you, big guy. She gave me this. Dormammu, head on fire, eyes on fire, everything on fire! Probably pisses like a flamethrower.

You looked around but you still couldn't see anything.

Y/N: We know he's got some mind of spell on you.

Suddenly, from the darkness manifested Tyrone. Only, he wasn't wearing his cloak.

Y/N: Ty, I'm here to help you.

Tyrone: You can't even help yourself!

He reached his hand out towards you and the darkness itself moved. It suddenly began to attack you but you used Tandy's dagger to fight it off.

Y/N: Ty! You have to snap out of it!

Tyrone: Give up. No one can defy Dormammu.

More darkness moved towards you, but you held up the dagger of light which created a shield around you.

Y/N: You can fight him. Listen to me.

Tyrone: Why? Why should I trust you?

You stood there for a moment before you reached up and grabbed your mask. You took it off and looked at the boy before you.

Y/N: Because...I know what it's like. To be a kid who got crazy powers, and how overwhelming that can all be. I believe Tandy when she says you're a good person. She cares about you.

Tyrone: But....I might hurt her.

Y/N: I know. Look, I've lost a lot of people I loved. Either by someone else, or my own fault. I know how powerful this darkness is. I get it.

Tyrone began to calm down and the darkness stopped attacking. The shield around you vanished and you slowly walked towards him.

Y/N: I agreed to lead the Strikers because I wanted to get stronger to protect the ones I love. And we can help you and Tandy understand these powers of yours. We can help you find a place in this crazy world.

You reached out a hand towards him.

Y/N: You just have to trust me.

You slowly lowered your hand, and instead held up Tandy's dagger.

Y/N: Trust Tandy.

Tyrone slowly reached up, and took the dagger.

Y/N: Trust her, like she trusts you.

Tyrone looked at the dagger and clenched his fists. He then raised the dagger into the air, and slammed it into his chest.

A powerful light surrounded his body as he cried out. You covered your face and watched as the darkness began to get forced away from him.

Y/N: You can do this! You got this! Fight it, Tyrone!

Tyrone cried out as the light began to spread. Your eyes went wide.

Y/N: Oh, did not think this one through.

Tandy continued to hold her light up against Tyrone when you were suddenly shot out of his cloak. You hit the ground and rolled to a stop as Tyrone finally gained contorl.

You lifted your head and watched as Tyrone fell forward. Tandy quickly caught him as he came to.

Tyrone: Tandy?

Tandy smiled.

Tandy: Welcome back, bud.

Tandy helped him to his feet as you approached the two. Tyrone noticed you and smiled.

Tyrone: Guess you were right. I could fight it off.

You shrugged.

Y/N: Honestly, I was hoping you could. Good to know you're as strong as you look. Both of you.

The two smiled at your praise. You then looked below at the Mindless Ones. There, you found Wanda bound and being carried off.

Y/N: Wanda. We have to get down there and free her!

Tyrone: And take on Dormammu? Can we even do that?

Tandy: We have to at least try. We have back up at the ready if we need it.

Y/N: Besides, we just need to free Wanda. After that, Damon can seal Dormammu here.

Tyrone: Who's Damon?

Y/N: Son of Satan.

The two looked at you confused.

Y/N: Eh, long story. Come on.

The three of you managed to sneak your way down to the levels below before you found what appeared to be a castle of somekind.

Y/N: Big, nasty, nightmare castle? Yep. This is the right place.

You started forward but Tandy grabbed your arm.

Tandy: We can't just rush in there! Do you even know what you're doing?

You shrugged.

Y/N: It's never stopped me before. Come on, gang! Let's go save the good Witch!

You continued on forward with Tandy rolling her eyes. You reached the door and placed a hand to it and pushed. The doors opened and the three of you stepped inside.

Y/N: Wow. Does Dormammu do interior design on his free time?

Tyrone: And paint?

The three of you stopped and looked at the art work hung up on the wall. It looked professionally done.

Tandy: Guys. We should focus. This guy is super powerful.

She was right. But you were so going to steal that painting if you had time.

Y/N: Okay. Any sign of our bad guy?

Tyrone: I can't sense Dormammu.

Suddenly, the ground began to shake. The three of you nearly fell over but you managed to stay on your feet.

Y/N: That's probably not good.

You noticed a light coming from outside. You rushed to the window and saw that there was an object in the air being charged with magical energy.

Tyrone: He's charging it to create a portal big enough for his army to invade Earth.

Y/N: Of course they are. Cause nothing is ever easy.

You then noticed someone under the stone. It was Wanda. She was still unconscious.

Y/N: Welp, found the bride. Now for the groom....

Tandy: Let's just grab her and go.

You nodded and hurried down to here she was. Once you reached her, you rushed over to untie her.

Wanda: Y/N?

She began to wake up as you undid her binds. Tyrone and Tandy kept look out.

Y/N: It's alright. Once we get you freed, we're gonna siganl Damon and get out of here.

You finished untying Wanda and supported her as you walked off of the platform.

Y/N: Alright. Time to get out of here.

Dormammu: Not so fast, hero.

The ground began to shake slightly as a large figure appeared behind you. The four of you turned around and found Dormammu looking down at you.

Y/N: Dormammu. So, uh, how are you? Lovely day for a wedding, yeah?

Dormammu: You dare defy my will?

Tyrone: You won't control me anymore!

Dormammu laughed.

Dormammu: It matters not. For I have what I want.

Tyrone: A loveless marriage?

Dormammu: What? No.

Tandy: Daddy issues?

Dormammu: I have no fath...

Wanda: A runaway bride?

Dormammu: Stop speaking...

Y/N: An army of mindless monsters because you have no actual friends?

Dormammu: THE CRYSTAL! I HAVE THE CRYSTAL!

Heroes: Oh.

Dormammu sighed as he shook his head while pinching the bridge of his nose.

Dormammu: Children.

He reached up and grabbed the crystal. He began to laughed as he raised it into the air. Suddenly, the wind around you began to put up and swirl around his fist.

The four of you watched as a portal began to open over Dormammu.

Y/N: Uh, Wanda? Wanna do some magic mumbo jumbo and stop this?

Wanda: And what do you suggest I do, Y/N? Catch my hand on fire and punch him?

Y/N: It works for me!

Dormammu: Soon, Earth will be mine to rule!

He raised his hand at the four of you and released a powerful blast of magic that sent you all flying away. You all hit the wall and fell to the ground as Dormammu laughed.

You pushed yourself up and looked at the powerful being before you. Your magic wouldn't be strong enough to stop him, or hurt him really. And your claws could only do so much.

Wanda: I think I can restrain him long enough for one of us to snatch the crystal. But I need time.

You looked back at Tandy and Tyrone before you clenched your fists.

Y/N: Tandy!

Tandy looked up.

Y/N: You said you could heal people, right?

Tandy: Only to a certain extent.

Y/N: Good enough for me! Get your powers ready.

Tandy nodded and surrounded her hand with the Lightforce. You turned back towards Dormammu and took a deep breath. This was going to hurt like a son of a bitch.

You closed your eyes and channeled your powers for the first time in months. As your eyes opened, one turned purple.

Tyrone and Tandy watched as flames engulfed your hands in a brilliant display of power. Electricity spread throughout your body. First formed among the flames. You popped out your claws and let out a cry.

Y/N: Hm. Hgnh! AHHHHHHHHHH!!!

You could feel the power start to tear you apart from the inside out, but you had to bear through it. You struggled before you got a hold of your powers once again.

You then smirked.

Y/N: Strikers, STRIKE!!!

You charged forward with Tandy and Tyrone. Dormammu looked down as you blasted yourself into the air. You yelled out as you dug your claws into the being and cut him all the way up.

Dormammu: HOW?!

Y/N: I'm a moron with power! Not the best combo in the universe!

You reached Dormammu's head and delivered a powerful uppercut. The being stumbled back before you flew right into his chest, sending him to the ground.

Dormammu went to get up, but Tyrone appeared above him. He then opened his cloak and teleported Dormammu up even higher.

The being fell from the air and into his own castle.

Wanda: I'm ready!

Tyrone fell back as you flew down to the ground. Tandy rushed over to heal you, but you put up a hand.

Y/N: Not yet. Wanda, get that spell going!

You quickly rushed into the castle as Wanda slowly flew into the air.

Wanda: Your invasion ends here and now, Dormammu. This is for trying to make me your bride!

She reached her hands out and magical energy began to swirl around her. You reappeared and powered down, your body nearly broken. Tandy quickly used her power to accelerate your healing.

Dormammu: Relased me, your Witch!

Tyrone: I got the crystal!

Tyrone flew up and grabbed the crystal from the air. He then flew back down and the four of you regrouped.

Y/N: Damon! We're ready!

However, nothing happened.

Y/N: Damon?!

Damon: I haven't seen this good a hockey game in a while.

The three adults were on the couch watching Hockey on that fancy new TV.

High definition.

Y/N: Can't rely on anyone.

Wanda: All other portals to earth are shut off.

Tyrone looked at the crystal and tossed it to Tandy.

Tyrone: Not the one in me. Go! I'll meet you on the other side.

Tandy: But if we do, what's stopping Dormammu from following us?

Tyrone: You'll have to close me once you get through.

Y/N: But you'll be stuck here forever.

Tyrone: I know. But I don't care. You guys have to go.

Tandy: No...

Wanda: We're all going home. Give me the crystal.

Tandy handed her the crystal and Wanda spoke to it. Suddenly, Dormammu broke free from his restraints and got back to his feet.

Tandy: Whatever you're doing, now would be a good time to do it!

Wanda: It's done!

She held the crystal up.

Wanda: Go! I'll seal the dimension once Tyrone joins us.

You nodded. Tandy helped you into Tyrone's cloak before Wanda followed. Dormammu reached for Tyrone, but he teleported himself away. You, Wanda, and Tandy flew out of the cloak and Wanda quickly held up the crystal.

Wanda: Now!

Tyrone closed the portal just as Wanda threw the crystal. The crystal erupted and Tyrone fell to the ground. Wanda quickly casted a spell which caused a red circle to move along Tyrone.

Tandy: Ty!

Tandy rushed to her friend's side and held him sit up. You and Wanda walked over to them. Well, you limped but same difference.

Wanda: Dormammu has been sealed back in his Dark Dimension.

Tyrone rubbed his head as the adults rushed in.

Victor: What the hell?!

Damon: How did you guys get back?

Y/N: Without your help! Oh, and Earth is saved. No biggie. You're welcome!

Tandy and Tyrone looked at each other as Victor and Damon praised you on your first successful mission.

Tandy: The next bus leaves in half an hour.

She sat down beside her friend as they waited for a bus. Tyrone wasn't strong enough to teleport away, and Tandy was too tired to charge him up.

So they waited for the bus.

Y/N: Buses kinda suck, though.

The two turned at the sound of your voice. You were leaning against the side of the bus stop with your arms crossed. You looked at them.

Y/N: You teleported away without saying goodbye.

Tandy looked down embarrassed while Tyrone sighed.

Tyrone: We can't stay here. We have to keep moving.

You shrugged.

Y/N: And I won't stop you. But it is pretty late. And you guys did have a long day. Stay the night at the manor. Get some warm food. Rest.

Tandy: Why? Why are you so willing to just trust us? All we've done for you is drag you to some dark dimension and get you into a fight with some chaos lord.

You scratched your neck before you shook your head.

Y/N: You also helped me save the world from an invasion. One that even the Avengers wouldn't be able to handle. And you helped me save my friend. Someone very important to me.

You walked over and sat down beside them.

Y/N: Can I tell you guys something? Something that I haven't told Wanda?

Tyrone and Tandy both nodded.

Y/N: I lost someone very close to me. He was like my brother. I wasn't strong enough to save him. And I blame myself for that. Every single day. But even before that, I lost someone who meant more to me than anything else in the world. That was because I wasn't strong enough to hold onto her or tell her how I felt before it was too late. I was experimented on from birth. Burdened with these incredible powers. I was scared for most of my life because of it.

You lifted your hand and created a very small ball of fire.

Y/N: But then, I realized that I didn't need to fear my powers. I could use them to help others. To inspire. To become more than just some scared kid. If I had realized that before, I could've saved the ones I lost.

You got rid of the ball of fire and turned to the two, and smiled.

Y/N: But I didn't learn that on my own. You two have amazing potential to be heroes. It would be an honor to have you two on the Strikers. You won't need ro run anymore. Not with us.

Tandy and Tyrone looked at each other for a moment. Tandy smiled as did Tyrone.

Tandy: Okay. You win.

Tyrone: We'll join the Strikers.

You smiled a bit wider. You stood up and held out your hand for Tandy. Once she was up, Tyrone floated to his feet.

Y/N: Great. We just so happen to have a bunch of bedroom open. And the best part is, we don't pay for anything. That bill goes to SHIELD.

The duo laughed as you lead them back towards the mansion.

Tandy: By the way, how are you healing?

You lifted up your hand to show that it was still burnt.

Y/N: Slowly. But I am. Hopefully, it won't be too long before you guys see my full power.

You continued walking while Tandy and Tyrone stopped.

Tyrone/Tandy: That wasn't your full power?!

Y/N: Nope. Anyway, you guy will need code names. If you don't pick yours, I'll do it for you. And trust me, I'm pretty crappy when it comes to picking names.

Tyrone: Well, what would you suggest? Out of curiosity.

Y/N: Cloak and Dagger. I'm a simple dude.

Tandy rubbed her chin.

Tandy: Actually, that works just fine.

Tyrone: I kinda like it. Has a ring to it.

The three of you laughed as you headed back to Striker Manor.

All the while, a figure watched from a tree. An acorn in her hand.

???: More friends. Goodie. Can't wait to meet them.
