Somewhere, in the vast multiverse of the worlds that have come to be known as the Frontier, a lone space ship drifted through the cosmos. The one piloting it had seen many things on their travels. From universes long since consumed by the unweilding force of darkness and evil, to universes that bristled in life and prospered.
But every world was the same in one aspect.
You.
Her own world was no different. As a matter of fact, she was the daughter of her world's you. This person was the final survivor of X. The only one to have seen is destruction, and lived to tell the tale.
And her name is Elise.
A young woman who was now in her early twenties. Her H/C hair was cut short by her own hand. She had gotten it fixed the best she could during one of her trips to another Earth, but it has now grown back to being a mess. Her brown eyes seemed tired.
She was alone on this ship. She has been since she was just a child. She looked down at her suit and sighed.
It was once her mother's, but she had fixed it to work in space. She did have her parent's intelligence, after all.
She leaned back in her seat as she watched the stars start to drift by as she traveled to the next world.
And, with nothing better to do, she closed her eyes and allowed herself to finally drift into sleep.
She was a child again. Back in the Mansion she had called her home before the attack. She was running towards the large wooden door that she knew well. She always went there first thing in the morning.
Well, after saying good morning to her stuffed friends.
She would push the door open and make her way over to the large bed where seven figures laid asleep. She would climb up the side and carefully crawl over the three who had slept on the right side of the bed.
Doreen, Tandy, and Felicia.
She would find the one who slept in the middle and lay on his chest. Her father was a strong man, and she knew it. So she knew she couldn't actually hurt him.
And before long, you would open your eyes.
Y/N: Hm. Look who's awake. My very own alarm clock.
Elise: The sun is up, so I am up, and now you are up!
You would always smile and rub your hand on top of her head. You would always pick her up and carefully leave the bed as to not disturb your wives. Her mothers.
You held her hand as you both walked through the Mansion that once belonged to the Avengers. She would tell you about her crazy dreams and you would listen as if it was more important than a mission briefing.
Sometimes one of the heralds would stop you and give you a report that you never cared for. Elise had asked you once why you always pretended to care when you didn't. You would just smile and tell her that you could handle any threat that came your way.
And she believed you.
You would make her breakfast and sit there as she ate whatever it was you made. She would thank you and go to brush her teeth as you went outside to appreciate the morning. Eventually Felicia would wake up, normally switching to Cat in the mornings, and they would join you outside.
After Felicia was Viv, who didn't need sleep but pretended to until she thought it was appropriate to "wake up", then Tandy, then Nadia, than Doreen.
Nadia would always seek her daughter out to tell her good morning and kiss her head. Nadia was her actual birth mother, but she loved them all equally. And they all loved her as if she was their own. Sometimes Elise would even get a call from her older siblings over at the Program just to check in on her.
She had a wonderful life. One that she never once took for granted.
Nadia: Elise, hon?
Elise looked back at her mother as she entered the room. Her mom spotted the action figures she was holding and smiled. They were of Captain America and you.
Nadia: I still can't believe he got those licensed. That man.
Elise: I like it. Doesn't it look like papa, Mommy?
She laughed a bit before she sat down with her daughter. She would play with her for a bit as some other hero before Viv would enter and join in by making a projection of some bad guy.
Elise had decided to be a hero just like her parents when she got older. Whether it was from the Pym Particles in her blood that she had inherited from her mother, or the growing powers she had gotten from her father.
Cat: There's my favorite daughter.
Elise: Hi, Mom!
Elise looked up from her drawing as Cat entered the room with a glass of milk. She gave it to the young girl who showed her her new piece of art. Cat, as always, would praise her for her skill and ask her what she wanted to do.
Elise would make all kinda of suggestions, but Cat chose the less dangerous one and they went on a walk. You had decided to join them, as well.
Cat: It's nice today.
Y/N: Yeah.
They both held the young girl's hands as they walked around the massive plot of land that you had owned. Cat would make a subtle flirt to you, but Elise never knew what exactly she was talking about. You would then match her by saying something equally flirty.
Cat: Play nice, lover.
Y/N: Or what?
Felicia: Guys, we have a kid with us.
You would always smirk, considering it a victory.
Elise spent a lot of time outside with her mom, Doreen, and her two squirrels. So much so that she was all but Tarzan when it came to jumping from tree to tree. She even knew how to look for her own food.
Doreen: That's right! Keep it up, Elise! You'll be a stone cold survivor before long!
Elise: I found an acorn, Ma!
Doreen walked over and Elise showed her the nut that she had found. Doreen smiled and priased her on her discovery. Elise pocketed the brown object and continued with her track through the woods behind the Mansion.
Viv: Lunch is ready.
She set the plate of food down in front of Elise who smiled. Grilled Cheese. Her favorite. And since her mom was a living computer, she got everything perfect every time.
Elise: Thank you, Momma!
Viv smiled at the title as Elise began to eat. She never thought she would even have kids. Yet here Elise was.
Tandy: And 5+5 is....
Elise: 10!
Tandy smiled.
Tandy: Very good.
Elise: Am I getting better, mother?
Tandy nodded.
Tandy: You're doing great, sweetie.
Elise smiled as Tandy gave her her lessons for the day. Since she couldn't attend school just yet, Nadia suggested she started her learning now rather than wait later. Of course, everyone called her a nerd but agreed.
Elise didn't mind. She liked spending time with Tandy.
After the sun went down and she was clean and tired, you would carry Elise to her room. Her mothers would all tell her goodnight and give her kisses. Then, you would tuck her in for the night and tell her that you love her. You would kiss her head and tell her that you will see her when the sun comes up.
She always felt safe with you.
But you were gone now.
AND ONLY DARKNESS REMAINS

lise's eyes shot open as she awoke form her nightmare. She looked around and realized that she was once again back on the ship. Alone. In the cosmos.
She let out a shaky breath as she slowly held her head in her hands. She has been on her own since she was 6. Now she was here. Going from universe to universe, trying to find a way to stop this....evil.
To find a way to stop the Nirvana King.
To find a way to avenge her family.
Yet she had found no help. No counter. No way to end his feasting.
Elise: Damnit.
She gritted her teeth as she looked back up. She then looked over at her monitor where a list of worlds were on display.

One of these Earths had the saviour that she was looking for. The only one who had the power to stand a chance against the Nirvana King.
She needed an army to match his own. She wasn't the only one looking for warriors.
Upon his conquest, the Nirvana King has recruited some of the most evil versions of her father from the darkest of worlds. They were all powerful in their own right.
She took a deep breath and slowly let it out. She entered the coornates to her next destination before the ship powered on to make the jump.
Soon, she will find the one who can stop this.
But right now, her search was only beginning.
Elise: For the Strikers.
And with that, her ship made the jump to the first world she had chosen.
Earth 93.
