"So this is our cafeteria."

To say that Renjun was exhausted would be an understatement. Ever since the first class the two had been sticking together as if conjoined forcing Renjun to hang out with both Donghyuck and Jeno. Jaemin was happily skipping with Jeno right next to him followed by Haechan and Renjun.

"Wow this is pretty neat compared to our last school." Jeno said as a matter of fact as Jaemin nodded.

"Forgot to ask you guys, where did you all study?" That made Donghyuck choked. Jeno went to his brother and patted his back smiling awlwardly.

"How about we eat something? Now that we're here" Jeno suggested as they looked at the crowd of students lining up in front of the counter. Nodding his head he led the way with Renjun tailing behind the back.

"Renjun!" A loud voice was heard as the mention guy knew who it was from. Sighing he looked for his brother only to see another male clinging onto him.

"Help me! I'm dying" Xuxi who goes by the name Lucas said as Renjun rubbed his temple. He made his way towards the two and tried to pull away his brother's boyfriend away from him. The male pouted at the siblings as Renjun sighed for the nth time.

"What happened to him ģe?" He asked but he only got a shrug.

"I guess it's the time of the month when he acts like this."

"Shut up!" Mark hit his boyfriend's head before clinging on to him.

"Oh who are they?" Xuxi's attention turned to the new transfer students as Renjun rolled his eyes internally. He still couldn't digest the fact that they were walking along those two. He didn't know why but he got negative vibes from them. Something about them wasn't really settling to him.

Right now when the two avoided the whole topic of their old school.

"They're the transfer students." Said Renjun rolling his eyes.

"Oh well we'll be there in the usual seat, yea?" Xuxi motioned to their table where two of their younger friends were present. Nodding his head he was about to join Jaemin when Mark tugged his sleeve.

"Bring those kids as well." He smiled before walking towards their shared table making Renjun groan. It wasn't like he could do anything about them having to sit in lunch with the two newcomers. He was stuck with the two since he shared almost all classes with them unlike Jaemin who didn't take art. Renjun joined the two and his attention turned towards the conversation between Jeno and Jaemin.

"What's that?" He asked as Jaemin creased his eyebrows. How come the other won't understand that?

"It's salad?" Jaemin was unsure as well as he squinted his eyes on the servings.

"You guys eat that?" Jeno scrunched his nose as Renjun scoffed.

"Of course dumbo we do eat that. The school included it since it's considered healthy" he said quoting the management.

"You guys don't eat it? What else do you eat then?"

Before Jeno could even reply donghyuck did, his eyes glaring at the older.

"We are not vegetarians. We prefer meat." He said as Jaemin nodded. But of course Renjun wasn't ready to buy that. He was pretty sure that the two brothers looked at each other as if communicating before coming up with answer. They may have been able to fool Jaemin but not Renjun.

"Oh we do have options for non vegetarians. Let's get that then" Jaemin enthusiastically pulled the two with them not forgetting to nudge Renjun to join him. He pressed his lips into thin line grabbing tray nearby.

Soon the four made their way towards the table and plopped down. The younger ones squinted their eyes at the newcomers while Mark and Xuxi warmly welcomed them with a smile.

"Kids this is Jeno and that is his brother Donghyuck. They're the new transfer students."

Transferring when the school year is almost half completed never settled well with Renjun. And he knew the two younger boys, with one of them being Jaemin's brother,were questioning the same thing.

"You didn't introduce yourselves. It's not very nice of you." Jaemin warned breaking them from their thoughts as Jisung raised his hand a bit for the two of them to see.

"Hi I'm Jisung. His brother" he said pointing towards the pink haired male.

"This is Chenle, my boyfriend." The green haired male smiled widely waving his hands as well.

"My name's Mark and this right here is Xuxi, my boyfriend."

Xuxi smiled before pointing towards Renjun

"He's my younger brother." He said patting his brother's back. He knew Renjun was not good at letting his wall down especially near new people and his reactions were clear enough for xuxi to know that his brother wasn't comfortable around the two. This was his way of telling his brother to loosen up and enjoy the time since he clearly didn't see any kind of traits that could be harmful towards them.

Renjun passed his brother a tight smile as well. The two didn't say anything more but focused on the food and small talks the group occasionally shared. At one point Jisung couldn't help but be curious.

"Why did you guys transfer at this time? Especially when it's midway through the school year?" He asked as Donghyuck and Jeno looked at each other. There was it again. The two looking at each other before forming an answer. If they were telling the truth to begin with why would they even hesitate?

"Family problems" that's what donghyuck said. He dug the fork into the piece of meat refusing to meet the eyes of the rest. Jeno held his hand firmily underneath the table before showing everyone his infamous eyesmile.

"Why does he look so pale?" Commented Chenle when he saw how sick Donghyuck looked after answering them. His hands, tight against the edge of the fork, and his eyes blinking fast, trying to hold himself from doing something he's forbidden to. What they didn't notice was how his eyes were turning to a dark shade of red and Jeno knew the situation ain't doing them any good. He pressed his brother's hand firmly before clearing his throat.

"I'll accompany him to the restroom while you guys can continue eating. He gets sick at times you see. Sorry for the interruption once again."

Bowing he pulled his brother and wrapped his arm around him supporting the other's bodyweight.

"What just happened?" Mark blinked his eyes but the others shrugged. They looked into the siblings plates and realised the two didn't even eat much.

"Woah they didn't eat chicken nuggets. Hyung can I eat it?"

Jisung asked as Jaemin shook his head as a no. What was even going through his younger brother's mind?

"No you can't" he said firmly leaving no space for an argument as the younger huffed. All he asked was if he could eat those? It's not like they would come back seeing how sick Donghyuck looked. But of course Jaemin had to ruin it.

All of them returned to eating. Meanwhile Renjun looked towards the exit of the cafeteria. His gaze lingered upon the door before he turned his attention towards his tray shaking off negative thoughts. Throughout the day he had been getting nothing but negative vibes from them. This didn't help him either.

Maybe I should really stop over thinking and eat for god's sake. Yes that's it. I'm just being paranoid.

The two brothers came to a halt once they saw the restroom. Making sure that there weren't anyone inside Jeno grabbed a pill from his pocket handing it over to his brother.

"I told you to eat this and maintain self control. Why didn't you do it beforehand? You're lucky that those humans are stupid. Do you want to blow our cover?"

Jeno whisper yelled as Haechan mumbled a sorry. Swallowing the pill he sighed as he passed the other a sweet smile.

"Thank you for everything Jeno. I really really mean it." He said. And he really meant it. He was really thankful for having a brother like him.

"Just make sure that you eat this pill beforehand. And also ew! How could these people eat vegetables?"

"Tell me about it" Donghyuck chuckled.

"But I must say the meat is cooked well. Really tasty may I add. If I continue to eat it any longer I don't think I'll be able to head back without having the urge to eat it one last time." Jeno said to which Donghyuck nodded his head. He must say the food smells tasty.

Same goes for humans especially that shorter male

That was for this chapter guys. Imao I apparently started this with a plot but oh well. I completely got off track but oof. I'm really excited to see how this turns out.
