"You both don't have nowhere to live for the time being?" Lucas asked squinting his eyes trying to process the information as mark had his jaw dropped. Jaemin sat beside them quietly waiting for his brother and his boyfriend to turn up.

"Your uncle kicked you out?" The siblings nodded once again as Haechan coughed trying to gain the attention of the ones sitting at the table.

"You see we don't really go here. Though it's not our first-time visiting Seoul we depended on him a lot. You see this morning we got into a fight with him and to our bad luck, he decided to kick us out. He instructed us to pack our bags and leave the house within this evening. We're quite perplexed as to where to move to within a short period of time..." he trailed off looking at his brother who seemed to catch on to what he was hinting as he held a depressed face as well.

"So where will you both stay for the time being?" Mark asked as Jeno shrugged.

"We don't know...we haven't found out a place..."

"How about our house? Renjun, mom told us that she was looking for paying guests right?" Lucas suggested looking at his brother as Renjun's eyes widened. He wasn't going to do what he was thinking right?

"I guess so?"

"Well, it's a deal then. You guys can stay with us in the meantime. I'm sure our parents wouldn't mind"

"But-"

"No buts Huang Renjun. I'll talk to mom if you can't" Lucas' voice was stern and Renjun huffed leaning back to his seat. He threw the siblings a glance before staring at his food. He was baffled, to say the least. How could his brother believe two guys whom they literally met a day or so ago? was he that naive?

"It's fixed then. Go pick your stuff and meet me in front of the school. I'll be here by five" smiling the two nodded before diving back to their food. From the corner of his eyes, Renjun could feel someone's eyes on him. Looking up he scowled being met with the sight of Haechan smirking.

Oh great! He can't wait for the two to disappear from his life. Though Jeno wasn't much of a pain in the ass his sibling sure was. Renjun didn't even want to imagine the painful days that were awaiting him.

"Renjun, you okay?" came a voice as Renjun hummed a bit. Jaemin though he knew the older was lying decided to stay quiet. 

"Oh, that must be them!" squealing his mom got up from the couch as Renjun rolled his eyes. He expected his parents to lash out at Lucas when he proposed the idea of two strangers, according to him, planning to stay in their house for god knows how long. But to the contrary, the two were indeed happy and even hugged their older son which ticked the other a bit.

"Smile a bit at least. They're our guests after all" warned his father as Renjun put on a fake smile before looking at the door. Mrs. Huang opened the door and was soon introduced to the occupants. 

"Mom! This is Jeno and Haechan! Guys, this is our mom, Li Jing. That's our dad Junjie! Welcome to our house" Lucas beamed as the two bowed at the elders.

"Thank you for letting us stay," Jeno said as Junjie smiled. Shaking his head a bit he joined his wife wrapping his arms around her. smiling the couple looked at the two.

"It's our pleasure to have you both here. After all, you guys are xuxi's friends" Mr Huang said as they nodded. Lucas looked at his brother to check whether he was bothered by his parents not mentioning him. to his surprise Renjun looked rather calm. Perhaps he might not have mentioned that the two shared classes with him.

"Dad they even share classes with Renjun!" he said as all of them looked at the said mentioned who had his mouth opened as if to say something.

"You didn't say-" before his wife could even mutter anything, Junjie pinched her arm signalling her to keep quiet. he didn't want to wrong his son either make the two boys uncomfortable. 

"Boys, why don't we settle down? Renjun and Lucas, place their bags in their respective rooms" he instructed as Renjun mentally groaned before grabbing the siblings stuff heading upstairs. Haechan looked at the older with an amusing smile before turning his attention to the elder couple who seemed to be seated along with his brother.

"Where are you both from?" started Junjie as the brothers stared at each other as if they were communicating through their eyes. With a slight nod, Jeno turned to look at the two.

"We're actually from Gwangju Mr Huang. We came here to pursue our higher studies."

"That's quite far away! won't your parents be bothered by the distance? If we were to send xuxi or jun somewhere, sure enough, we would be worried as hell" li jing rambled as her husband nodded. 

"Actually...we don't have parents..." Haechan looked at Jeno before continuing,"We were brought up by our grandmother who advised us to pursue our studies here" 

the faces of the couple were enough for the two to know that they have bought their story. 

"Aww, honey...don't worry. You can consider us as your parents" 

"Once again thank you for everything, Mr. and Mrs. Huang!"

"What did I tell you both about us being your parents? Please don't be formal with us. It shows that we're distant which we both hate." 

Before they could even reply a shout came from downstairs

"Mom we're done with their rooms!"

They turned to look at Lucas who was having a wide grin standing next to a rather grumpy male. Rolling her eyes Mrs. Huang moved towards the boys before leaning close to Renjun.

"Renjun-ah at least be nice and put on a damn smile. It makes you 100% more beautiful" 

Renjun groaned a bit before faking a grin making his mother smile wide. Patting his back she looked towards the occupants.

"Renjun will show you your room boys. Lucas, I want you to stay with us. We have some things to discuss. it's regarding Mark " Lucas knew something was up from the way his mother sounded. Humming a bit he looked at the two apologetically. Once the three were out of his site Renjun looked at the two before huffing.

"You two!" he yelled a bit turning his back towards them, "follow me"

Jeno and Haechan looked at each other before following suit as the shorter male led the way to their rooms. Though the house didn't look big from outside it was quite spacious, they noted. They stopped here and there with Renjun explaining the dos and don'ts of the house. It was quite amusing for Haechan. Though their house wasn't any better if not worse it was still fascinating to get used to the human world. He knew both of them had to make a lot of adjustments for basic needs like food. But he was sure that they would make it. After all it was much safer to live with humans than to live alone. 

"This is your room Jeno" Renjun opened the door and Jeno hummed in satisfaction. The room was just like what he pictured. Neat and tidy, he noted.

"I have arranged your stuff and there's the bathroom. If you need anything my room is right opposite of yours. Or you can go to Lucas' which is right beside yours." he turned to Haechan, "and you, follow me" 

Winking at his brother he followed the shorter male and wasn't quite surprised to see his room arranged in a similar manner. The only difference was that it looked rather used by someone than a room that was kept for guests. 

"If you're wondering yes this was used by me when I was younger. So you can find my stuff here and there. Since one of the guest rooms is undergoing renovation we don't have any other spare rooms other than this. There's a bathroom there. Oh, there's a balcony as well."

Renjun turned back on his heels but a hand on his arm stopped him.

"Any questions?" though he was annoyed he still managed to ask politely.

"Where's your room?"

"Excuse me?"
