( For all you Lewi and Danny girls, (which I have yet to find :o) they'll be in this chapter. Fair warning, their personalities in this book are completely opposite from what they are in real life. Enjoy. ^_^ )

When I wake up, I see Duke laying on the floor next to my bed. His eyes are closed, his head resting on his paws. How did he get in here? When did he come back?

This morning I stay in bed. I really don't feel like facing the world. Okay, so maybe I don't feel like facing Charley. But can you blame me? He'll probably scold me for yesterday and then tattle on me. I swear he's still a child sometimes.

Out of nowhere, small little pebbles start hitting my window. I can't help but actually get out of bed to go and look. But as soon as I open the window and look down, I regret my choice. Of course.

"I'm coming up." He shouts to me.

"No!" With that I shut my window hard. He won't be able to find a way in.

"Why not?"

A scream escapes my lips as Jake's voice sounds behind me. I spin around and he laughs. "H-how the hell d-did you get-t in here?"

"Secret." He steps close to me, making me step back. Luckily he stands still.

"I don't k-know who you think you-u are but you n-need to leave, now." I stammer out. He's creeping me out so much right now.

His face falls and he looks angry. "Stop stuttering and get ready, I'm taking you out."

"No, I d-don-"

Jake walks over to me and takes my wrist in his grip. He brings me across the hall and pushes me into the bathroom. "Get ready." His voice is deeper, his eyes darker. "Now!"

I do as he says, not wanting to piss him off farther, and he shuts the door in my face. A lump forms in my throat but I swallow it down. I walk over to the shower and start the water before peeling my clothes off and stepping in. The warm water relaxes my muscles only a slight bit.

How did I get into this mess? Everything good about Jake, which wasn't much in the first place, is completely gone. All I see is a jerk who does what he wants and that really pisses me off.

When I'm done in the shower, I step out. A pile of clothes sits on the floor by the door. Jake must of put them there. I put them on and exit the bathroom. He is standing in the hall, his back resting against the wall, his arms crossed. His eyes narrow as he looks at me. I have to look at my feet to stop from blushing under his gaze. He always seems to have the effect on me, no matter how much I hate him.

"All I have t-to do is brush my hair and p-put some makeup on." I stutter, still looking down. He pushes himself off of the wall and comes over to me. Jake places his pointer finger under my chin and lifts my head up so my eyes meet his. I can't read the emotion behind them.

"Hurry up and stop stuttering." He puts his hand down and steps back, allowing me to go into my room. I do what I said I'd do and when I'm done, he drags me down the stairs and outside. Strangely, a black Mustang is parked in front of my house. That wasn't there before when I was looking out of the window. What the?

"C'mon, we need to leave before your precious brother sees us."

"Where are you taking me?" I ask. He shakes his head and opens the passenger door for me. I step inside, the air conditioner gently blowing. He closes the door and walks around the front, gets in, starts the car, and pulls away.

~*~

"Are you going to tell me?" I ask him. He makes a left, heading into town.

"No." I let out an annoyed huff and cross my arms.

"For crying out loud, quit complaining. What are you, three?" He taunts me and I roll my eyes.

"No, you're just so frustrating." I elaborate, making him chuckle. Another left, and then a right. Nervousness creeps through my skin. He's leaving town. Why?

"You'll see when we get there."

About an hour passes before we pull up to a huge house. It's freaking gigantic. Jake shuts the car off and steps out. I watch him as he pulls sunglasses out of his inside jacket pocket and puts them on. He looks undeniably good in them.

I could easily jump into the drivers seat and pull away but that would be pointless. I don't know where we are and I don't know my way back. Frustrated, I also get out and close the door behind me. He watches me with an eyebrow raised and again, I have to look at the ground.

"Lets go, they're just dying to meet you." Before I can ask who they are, Jake is dragging me inside.

~*~

"You're finally here!" An accent laced voice speaks up and soon enough I see who is speaking. He's smiling, a beautiful smile at that, and I can't lie, he's really good looking.

Jake replies with a "yea" before leaving me alone with the stranger.

"Hey there, my name is Lewi." Despite all his tattoos and piercings, I shake the hand that he offers. There is something behind his voice that I can't decode and it's scary. I feel like he's trying really hard to be polite.

"Um, Allison." He nods before placing his hand on the small of my back. Chills run over me, making small bumps appear on my arms as he guides me into a bigger room. Inside I find Jake with yet another guy who has short brown hair and  a slight stubble, sitting down.

"She's a beauty." Stubble says to Jake and Jake rolls his eyes.

"Allison, meet Danny. Danny, meet Allison."

Danny gives me a wave which I can only reply with a small smile. Something about Lewi and Danny is very suspicous. Why would Jake bring me here?

"She's not like the others."

What?

"Seriously Lewi? For fucks sake, shut the hell up." Jake complains, running his hands over his face.

Lewi chuckles and walks over to the other couch. He pats the seat next to him and I awkwardly walk over and sit down. I can't help but notice Jake's eyes following my every moment.

"Brinley will be excited to have another girl here." Danny says.

Brinley? Who is that?

Answering my questions, a beautiful girl with wavy blonde hair walks into the room. Surprisingly she doesn't have any tattoos. She seems almost, innocent.

"Yeah, because hanging out with you idiots gives me a headache." She teases.

"So this is her brother?" Brinley asks, and I notice that the question is directed towards Jake. They're siblings? They hardly look alike.

"Yeah." He mumbles in response. To my horror, he pulls out a pack of cigarettes and discards ones. He then grabs a lighter and lights the end, taking a small drag. He lets out a puff of smoke while looking at me.

"Don't like smoke?"

I shake my head and look down, again.

"Leave it to Jake to bring a stuck up girl here." My head snaps up and I look towards Lewi. Did he really just say that?

"Excuse you but I'm not stuck up." I defend. He smiles at me, and it takes everything in me not to redden his cheek.

"Yeah, you are."

"N-"

"Shut the hell up Allison."Jake complains, rolling his eyes to add to the dramatics.

I don't know why but tears threaten to spill from my eyes, forcing me to stand up and walk out. Why am I about to cry? He's just trying to impress them. Right?

I hear footsteps behind and I know it's Jake. My thoughts are confirmed as he places a hand on my shoulder. I shrug it off and continue walking, not knowing where to go.

"I'm sorry, you were just be-"

It's my turn to interrupt him before he says another hurtful thing.

"Save it. What the hell do you want!?" I ask, it almost comes out as a whine.

"You."

(There it was, vote and comment, you know the routine xD Jk jk, thanks for all the support so far. c: )
