I snuck around the corner, Chal and Frank weren't far behind me and soon I peek around the next corner but I saw nothing, I soon looked back.
       "Nothing" I said, I soon gave it some thought, soon the three of us headed back inside, I still held the metal rod in hand and soon we walked inside, Victor was sitting in his chair now sleeping, I soon checked my watch, 12:09.
      "Of course, midnight" I said as I soon heard a noise, we all looked and I immediately went to see what it was, again nothing, I immediately knew someone was alluding to me. I went back to see the others already sleeping, I stayed awake cause, let's be honest, I rarely sleep anyway. I soon heard the noise again, this time louder and I Immediately held the metal rod and I went to see what the noise was. I slowly walked towards the noise and soon I saw a shadow, I tightened my hold on the metal rod.
      "YOU PICK THE WRONG HOUSE FOOL!" I shout, the shadow immediately spins sound towards me.
      "Hey! Hey! Hey! It's me Nosferatu!" spoke the voice of an old friend, I stopped and I soon grabbed a lantern to see, and soon I saw a familiar face.
      "OHHH! My bro!" I said with joy, I took his now short clawed hands and I brought him in for a bro hug. "What are you doing here?" I asked him.
     "The girl obviously, I'm here to help you protect her." Nosferatu said.
     I placed the rod down. "Three guardians are placed for her protection, one of course is me, the others are just around the corner." I told him.
     Soon we headed back to the others, Jessie was still asleep, I'm surprised since I shouted rather loudly.
    "She woke up but she fell back asleep" Chal said leaning back.
    "That girl is one hell of a sleeper," Frank said with a small smirk.
    "Well...one can't blame her after everything," Victor said, trying to join into the conversation.
    "Yeah I suppose you're right" Frank said, he didn't have any disdain in his voice.
     I was surprised, I knew Frank didn't like Victor after all he's done to him, which I don't blame him for, now he seems...indifferent towards him, I can tell Victor can see this change and he looks down. I immediately went to get Jessie a blanket, I soon unfold the blanket, I placed the blanket on her. She soon grabbed the blanket's edge and she soon got herself comfortable. I smiled as I soon sat down, Nosferatu stood there rather awkwardly, feeling the tense air around us.
    "I get the sense that a lot of stuff has happened here" Nosferatu asked
    "You had no idea" Chal stated leaning back.
    Nosferatu looked at Jessie, who was sound asleep, I sat down, I inhaled through my nose. I soon exhaled. I closed my eyes, I was actually tired for the first time in my life, I lean my head back as Nosferatu was looking at all of us, we all had found ourselves asleep, I then caught a strange smell, I open my eyes once more as I sit up to see what the small was. I got up and soon I went to check.
    I soon headed outside, I soon heard voices from behind the house, I immediately sneaked around to see what I was hearing.
   "They are around here somewhere" spoke a voice, I immediately recognized Hyde, I slightly cursed under my breath. "Damn It, they're here..." I said as I looked back. I soon backed up and ran inside the house. "We need to go now!" I exclaimed in a hush tone.
   "Hmm? What's wrong?" Chal whispers in a horse voice.
   "Hyde and his gang of marry men are here" I stated and Chal immediately sat up.
   "Shit..." he said getting up.
   "Language" I said.
   "We are adults," Chal said, giving a look of carelessness.
   "Jessie is 15" I stated harshly.
   Jessie started to stir from her sleep, we both quietly cursed, Jessie soon fell back asleep, we both released the trapped air we had held in.
    I turn to Chal.
   "Get the others and get prepared to leave with Jessie" I said about leaving when Chal grabbed my jacket.
   "What about Victor and Nosferatu?" He asked.
   "Take them with you" I said, I soon grabbed a sack, there were random items in it and soon it was easy to mistake it as a teenager when covered up, this soon gave me an idea. "I have an idea, there is no time to explain it, but you guys need to take the back way out, I'll meet up with you" I said as Chal had picked up Jessie.
  "Good luck," Chal said, looking towards me as I prepared myself.
  "Remember the others, grab them and get out of here" I said as he nods. I soon head towards the front of the house. I knew this was for the sake of Jessie and the others, I soon ran the opposite way.
  "He's getting away!" I heard one of them shout, who I can't say considering I wasn't paying attention.
  "After him! He probably has the girl!" shouted one of the Hyde whose voice was unmistakable, I rushed past the trees which turned into blurs as I ran past them. 
   A few more...just a little more
   These words swirled in my head, I can hear Hyde and his band of merry men chasing me down like a fox being hunted by hellhounds. I was running out of breath, soon I managed to hide behind a fallen wall.
  "Search everywhere!" Hyde shouted.
   I hold my breath, I can only pray that Jessie and the others are safe. I heard approaching footsteps, I looked and I saw a bright light, soon it zips past me and soon shouts of Hyde and the pursuers, which they scream and run away.
  "I do say my good man are you alright?" spoke a familiar voice.
  I looked to see Beowulf standing with his sword, he offered his hand to me and I grabbed it.
   "Your angel friend is quite strong, more stronger than I thought" Beowulf stated.
  "My angel friend?" I was confused.
  "Take a look" Beowulf looks over as did I.
   Sure enough Elizabeth was casting holy fire, causing the Pryo brothers and Grendel to retreat, Hyde however wasn't pleased by his groupies running off.
   "COWARDS!" He shouted after them, I readied my bow and aimed at Hyde. He looks at the three of us and he growls, he soon runs off.
    I let out an audible sigh, but before I can even thank them for coming to my aid, Elizabeth immediately speaks up.
   "Is she safe?" She asked, cutting to the chase.
   "Yes, she's with Chal and Frank" I said, I'm still never going to get used to calling him that. "But may I ask you to bring him?" I asked about Beowulf.
   "He's the one who fought Grendel before, he knows what to do," Elizabeth said.
   "Indeed, he-" but before he can finish, we heard Jessie scream, I looked with horror and I immediately started to run towards the sound of the voice.
   "JESSIE!" I called "CHAL! FRANK!" I shout, hoping for a response, that was until I heard a gunshot.
