I let out a heavy sigh and soon I uncovered Jessie, Chal and Creat- Frank soon approached, they looked pretty banged up. "You two looked like you've been in a street fight" I told them, smirking as I can tell Chal would have some choice words for me. "Watch you say to me Chal, we have a 15 year old present" I told him sternly. "
      "I know" Chal said stern, Jessie looks and sighed
      "Guys...what exactly happened when I was out?" Jessie interjects and we all look at her.
      "Kiddo, it's best explained when we aren't in a hospital" Chal stated looking down towards her.
      "I agree with him, let's get you discharged before we draw more attention to ourselves" Frank stated as we all walked off, Helsing ran up and was panting, he clearly was knocked down too.
      "A little late arent ya" Chal said in a wise ass tone of voice.
       I gave Chal a look as Helsing soon chuckled.
      "I don't know what you're talking about, you got knocked down first" Helsing stated.
      Jessie gave a small laugh, Frank snickered as Chal gave a mixed expression.
      "Serves you right" I told Chal as he gave me a glare and I smirked.
      "Shall we get going?" asked Frank.
      "Yes, I'll handle the discharge" said Helsing, we all thanked him and headed off, the thought of Hyde returning for Jessie honestly terrified me more than I thought.
      "Hey you ok Drac?" Chal's voice cut through my thoughts like a knife, I look at him and soon I can immediately tell he was slightly concerned, I can tell he was just as worried about Hyde as I am.
       "I wish I could say, but not here" I told Chal, I knew he understood, cause he nods and turned his attention away and back to Jessie, which too brought my attention towards the young brunette walking with us. Such a young soul being dragged feet first into this whole mess, and for what? What was the purpose of the attack? Why? All these questions make me apprehensive to know what the answers to them might be.
      As we walked out of the hospital door, I had the sense that we might be under attack soon, soon I heard the shift of a foot and soon I grabbed Jessie and covered her.
     "EVERYONE DOWN!" I shout as Chal and Frank look and soon duck and a fire blast barely missed us and hits a nearby building, Jessie looks and was shocked to see two men standing on a building and laughing while watching the building burn, Chal's swift movement caused me to look over and was amazed that Chal used a fire hydrants water to put out the fire.
     "AW COME ON!" shouted the man with annoyance.
     "Forget about that dear brother," spoke the pyro man's companion. "We have a job to do, grab the girl and let's go" he said.
      I let out a deep growl while I summoned my bow and I aimed, "If you want her...you'll have to get through me first" I stated with rage.
      "That can be arranged" stated the pyro man lifting his pyro gun smirking.
      Chal stood next me with Frank and their weapons were drawns also, they were ready for a fight as much as I was. I look back at Jessie.
     "Jessie, I need you to go hide" I told her, she got up and ran off to safety, I turned my attention back to the pyro brothers as they laughed.
     "On my signal, we attack ok" I said as Chal and Frank nods, soon Terrorbugs appeared behind the pyro brother and we stood our ground.
     "Do you really think you can take all these Terrors on by yourselves?! You really are delusional!" cried out one of the pyro brothers as they laughed. Chal growls and clinched his trident, these guys were getting on his nerves. I for one can't blame him, they're getting on all our nerves.
     "NOW!" I soon fired some of my light arrows and they hit their marks and hit the Terror bugs, soon one of the pyro brothers aimed his gun and fired, Chal spun his trident around and soon caused a tsunami so sweep the terror bugs away. Soon Jessie's scream caught all of our attention and one of Pyro brothers started to laugh like a mad man.
     "Oh but of course, leave Hyde to do his job" the man said laughing.
     Chal immediately grabs the man and slams him in the concrete, both Frank and I winced from that.
     "Ouch..." I said as Chal looked at me.
     "Drac go find Jessie!" he shouts at me and I immediately go to find Jessie. As soon as I find her, I see her running towards me. Soon she embraced me in her arms shaking, I immediately was worried that someone might have tried to hurt her, or worse.
     "It's ok, I'm here now, Chal and Frank are dealing with the threat right now" I told her in hopes of reassuring her, I then heard a dark cackle and immediately I put Jessie behind me. "SHOW YOURSELF!" I proclaimed as I was preparing my bow, I looked in the direction of the laugh and soon a large monstrous creature emerged.
     "Grendel..." I snarled as Jessie shakes behind me.
     "Give me the girl" Grendel snarled and I aimed my bow.
     "You'll have to get through me first," I said with anger and hatred, Grendel snarled and charged. I fired my bow and it hit Grendel in the shoulder, he let out a roar of pain and I grabbed Jessie. "RUN!" I shouted as we ran.
      Grendel let out a roar and I pulled Jessie in front of me to run ahead of me, as we ran I had a sense that someone else was following not too far behind. We soon meet up with Chal and Frank.
      "We have to leave now!" I shout at my companions.
      "Wait why?" Chal asked as Grendel soon emerged from the darkness, we all readied are weapons for a battle.
      "Oh great they have a cave troll" Chal said.
      "Now isn't the time to make Lord of the Rings references" Frank said, holding his sword.
      Jessie was shaking as Grendel snarled.
      "I won't tell you again, give me the girl or I'll-" he soon got cut off by a bellowing voice.
      "I think not, fiend of evil!" The bellowing voice drew all of our attention to a tall bearded man with locks of golden blonde hair and a matching beard, he looked to be about from the age of knights and kings.
     "BEOWULF! HOW DID YOU FIND ME!" Grendel said, snarling.
     "I followed you through the very passageway that brought you here Grendel, but now you must face the consequences for you misdeed!" the man bellows and soon leaps at Grendel.
      Grendel soon snarled and reached to grab Jessie, who gasped, I grabbed Frank's sword and swung, cutting Grendel's hand off. Grendel let out a howl that caused Chal to cover Jessie's ears from hurting. Frank grabs his sword back and soon he readied his weapon.
     "We run on my cue" I said, I didn't hear any objections because I was focusing on Grendel. The others nod in agreement as Jessie was busy focusing on Grendel.
     "NOW!" I shout as we turn tail and run, Chal grabs Jessie and takes off with her on his back. Creature and I ran behind Chal, I noticed that he is much faster out of all three of us, not that I could complain, he's doing his task and that's all that matters. Creat- Frank and I ran behind Chal as Beowulf was dealing with Grendel.
     "Hurry!" Chal shouted as he ran, Frank and I ran into a building with Jessie, we were all panting heavily. Chal sets Jessie down.
     "Do you think we lost them?" Frank asked as I went to look, I peered around and saw no one.
     "Yes...I think so" I said looking back as Chal sat down.
     "Good, we can wait here and prepare in case they come" Frank said as he too sat down.
     "What do I do?" Jessie asked.
     "Kiddo you hide in case they come '' Chal stated, he went to see if he could find a hiding spot for Jessie in case things turned south. I looked at a box that had a logo on it, I opened it and saw hand guns.
     "Hmmm, these could work" I said grabbing one, I looked and saw what looked like small capsules. "What are these?" I asked as Frank looked and had a look of horror on his face.
     "Put that away! That thing is dangerous!" Frank said as Chal and Jessie looked at us from what I can tell. Jessie came over.
     "What's wrong?" Jessie asked, she looked at my hand that was holding the gun, Jessie grabbed it. "This is perfect! I can use this to defend myself!" she said.
     "Kiddo no offence but do you know how to use it?" Chal asked, putting his hands in his trench coat pockets.
     "Mom was in the military so she taught me a few things before...before..." she shook her head "never mind..." she stated, she grabbed a mag and put it in the gun.
      We didn't push it, we all got ready for the upcoming fight, Frank sat holding his sword.
    "They ran this way!" we hear the pyro brothers shout as Grendel walks past, we all readied our weapons.
      I gave a motion to be quiet, Jessie readied her gun, she was shaking, and we can't blame her, Chal was looking for ways of escape, he looked for an exit.
     "I have an idea" Chal whispered, "We sneak out the back way" he whispered and I nod, we all slowly back up and we head towards the back, soon the door explodes and Grendel and the pyro brothers walk in.
     "Spread out and find the girl. They're no doubt here" spoke one of the pyro brothers, the trio spread out. I looked and soon I gave Chal a signal and Chal nods.
