It was finally the weekend meaning training was cut short and the entire afternoon was yours. You already planned on helping Viv with her project on how to be human. Of course there were a few minor things that needed to be taken care of. For starters, Viv had pointed out that she wouldn't be able to blend into a normal crowd without drawing attention to herself. You actually found it really weird when she showed up in your room in the middle of the night to show you her new disguise.

You were half awake when a seemingly random girl opened the closet door. It was kind of odd to see her looking like a human. She was now a red haired caucasian girl with green eyes.

Y/N: Wha re u ike..

You gestured at her body.

Viv: I am afraid I did not understand you. Perhaps you were asking me why my apparence had changed?

You lazily nodded.

Viv: I have presumed this form to better blend in human society.

Y/N: Why are you showing me now? It's,

You looked at the clock on the wall.

Y/N: 2 in the morning.

Viv: I wanted to see if this appearance was to your liking.

You gave her an odd look before rolling back around to go back to sleep.

Y/N: Do whatever you want Viv.

Viv gave it a thought before saying goodnight and closing the closet door. She stepped away a moment before catching her reflection in the window. She walked over to it and gently touched the glass.

Viv: Whatever I want?

The second issue was the fact that Viv wanted to keep the project on the down low since she didn't want anyone to get worried. Something about them being uncomfortable with the idea of Viv maybe feeling left out. So you both had to mask it so no one bothered you. You couldn't say the two of you were going to hang out since that would leave it open for anyone to tag along. So how did you avoid this?

Kitty: Hey Viv, you wanna go with me and Laura to the mall?

Viv: I have already made plans with Y/N. We are going on a date.

Yeah. Not your brightest idea but it worked. Maybe a bit too well. Kitty had gotten excited and practically dragged all the girls into Viv's room to get her ready. Now you were just sitting on the couch looking like some nervous kid about to go on your first date. Well, technically it is even if it wasn't actually a date. Whatever. Didn't matter.

You agreed to this to help your friend damnit!

And now your heart was beating faster than it ever did during a fight when Viv stepped out. Kitty must've loaned her clothes since you had never seen any of those clothes on her. A black shirt, white blouse, black boots. What the hell is happening right now?

Viv: Are you ok? Your heart beat has increased by 20%.

Kitty: Aw! He likes it!

Marvel: This is too cute!

Shit. Ok, remember why you're doing this. You and Viv began to head out soon after with Widow and Spidey watching from the kitchen.

Spidey: Are you gonna tell papa Vison?

Widow finished typing on her phone and showed it to him.

Widow: Already did.

On the phone screen was a picture of you awkwardly greeting her. Viv was smiling.

Y/N: So what was the first thing you wanted to try?

Viv brought out a small notepad which had a list of things written down.

Y/N: You don't have it down in your system or whatever it is?

Viv: I had failed to inform you of this earlier. I have disabled all abilities for the next 8 hours.

Y/N: Wait, so you can't fly or morph through walls or anything?

Viv: No. By definition I am non powered.

Y/N: Oh. Ok.

Viv handed you the notepad. Which had various things written down. On the top of that list was, batting cage? Why did she want to go to a batting cage? Aquarium, Cafe, movie theater, museum, swimming pool? Was this just a list of stuff to visit?

Y/N: This is a, uh, interesting list of things.

Viv: I want to observe human behavior in places I have seen in Kitty's magazines. I would then like to replicate their behavior in an attempt to understand human life.

You guess that makes sense. Wait, aren't Kitty's magazines mostly about teenage trends and.....these were dating spots. Did Viv know or was she just oblivious?

Y/N: Why these places?

Viv: I found them interesting.

Ah. Alright then. You couldn't see any harm in it if it was to help her.

Y/N: Alright, batting cages first then.

The batting cages were interesting for both of you. You became you have never been to them before and Viv because she was seeing it from the ground and not the sky. And now that she didn't have her power activated, she didn't have any advantages. You had also decided to not use your powers, mostly out of respect, and took to looking around as Viv stepped up to the plate.

You stood on the otherwise of the fence while Viv prepared for the balls. She was wearing one of the rental helmets.

Y/N: Here we go Viv!

The first ball was thrown and Viv swung the bat, only to miss.

Y/N: That's alright Viv. Just keep your eye on the ball.

Viv readied herself again as the second ball was thrown. She swung too late.

Viv: This is actually difficult without being able to calculate the ball's speed.

Y/N: That's the point. You just have to focus.

Viv nodded and return to the machine. The third ball was thrown and she swung a bit faster she still missed.

Viv: I can't get it.

You stopped the machine and walked over to the gate.

Y/N: Have you ever swung a bat before?

Viv lowered the bat and shook her head.

Viv: I haven't.

That explains it.

Y/N: Come out real quick.

Viv walked over and stepped out. She handed you the bat and you grabbed it with two hands.

Y/N: You grip it like this. Keep your shoulders square.

You went through the motion of swinging the bat. You then handed it to Viv who tried to copy the motions.

Y/N: Keep still.

You moved next to her and gently adjusted her form. You didn't realize how close you were to her until you heard the people around whispering.

Woman: Look at those two.

Man: What a gentleman.

Girl: Why don't you touch me like that?

You found yourself blushing before stepping away from Viv.

Y/N: Go give it a shot.

Viv nodded and stepped back into the cage. You started up the machine again and Viv took her position. The ball was thrown and she used what you taught her to swing the bat. The ball went soaring.

Y/N: There you go Viv!

Viv: I hit it!

Wait, was she excited. She turned to you with a wide smile. Yeah, she was excited. You gave her a thumbs up.

The two of you started to walk to your next location, the Cafe, while Viv told you the result of her first experience.

Viv: I think I have determined how humans experience accomplishment. I was able to hit the ball after failing to do so.

Y/N: Yeah you looked pretty happy.

Viv: It is thanks to you. Although I must ask, how did you determine how to use a bat? Do you have experience with it?

You placed your hands in your pockets while reminiscing on a memory.

You were 12 when the Old Man told you to follow him to a nearby lot. There you found a wooden bat and a beat up ball.

Creator: Do you know how to play baseball?

You shook your head.

Creator: Then allow me to show you.

Y/N: An old friend taught me.

Viv: It seems that this friend means a lot to you.

Y/N: Yeah, he did.

The two of you finally reached the Cafe when you realized something.

Y/N: Can you even get anything here?

Viv: I can eat and drink like you can. I simply don't require it.

Y/N: Oh. Can you taste it?

Viv: Of course. I can taste, see, feel, smell, and hear what you do. I actually have many functions that are like yours. I can produce tears, sweat, and spit just like my father. Since I have disactvated most of my android functions I am more prone to do so.

Y/N: Really? That's cool. Well the more you know.

You both entered the Cafe and Viv looked at the menu.

Viv: I am not familiar with any of these drinks.

Y/N: You want me to order for you?

Viv nodded. You both approached the counter and you placed the order. A coffee for you and a Carmel Frappuccino for Viv. Danny liked them so you figured she might. You both sat down and you grabbed the drinks. You handed Viv hers and watched as she took a drink.

Y/N: What do you think?

Viv: It is quite enjoyable.

???: And what do we have here?

You looked up to see Felicia standing there with her ever present smirk. Viv looked at her then at you.

Y/N: Uh, hey Felicia. This is Viv.

Felicia: Viv?

Viv: It is nice to meet you.

Felicia: Likewise. What brings you two here.

Viv: We are on a date.
