You rolled over in bed before you heard a groan. You backed away from Nadia's arm, which you had rolled on, and silently apologized to the sleeping girl. You weren't even fully awake when the door to the ship opened and a small rodent walked in.

Rocket: Rise and shine kids! We have some hunting to do!

You and Nadia groaned before Rocket jumped on the bed to looked down on the two of you.

Rocket: The Asgardian is here. You want to meet her or not?

You quickly sat up but moved the blankets so Nadia was still covered. You looked down at yourself before looking back to Rocket.

Y/N: Give us a bit to get dressed and we'll be out.

Rocket rolled his eyes but left. You immediately started to get dressed when Nadia sat up.

Nadia: So the Asgardian is here. That means...

Y/N: Our ticket to attaining the second blessing is withing reach!

Nadia finished dressing in her newest uniform that she had made for herself.

You grabbed your sword and placed it on your belt before the two of you exited the ship. Rocket was waiting for you outside talking to Groot.

Rocket: And that's why you can't drink the yellow water.

Groot: I am Groot.

Rocket: Especially if it's Drax's.

He spotted the two of you and hopped down from Groot's shoulder.

Rocket: You two lovebirds ready?

You and Nadia nodded. Rocket and Groot then led the way for the two of you to meet the Asgardian.

You ended up in the fourth level, what mostly resembled the slums, where you found a run down bar.

Nadia: Does everyone here just get drunk?

Rocket: Not much to do here besides get drunk. Unless you own a shop or run jobs, you're kinda stuck in this floating rust bucket.

Y/N: Actually I've been meaning to ask about that. What is Knowhere exactly? It looks like a giant head.

Rocket: Well you see kid, there wwre once these things known as Celestials....

Y/N/Nadia: This was a Celestial?!

Rocket and Groot looked at you surpised.

Groot: I am Groot.

Rocket: Yeah. I'm surpised they know what they are to.

Y/N: Know what they are?! I'm supposed to fight these things! They're massive!

Nadia: The mid floors are the size of Brooklyn. And this is just the head.

You suddenly found yourself both scared, and excited. You were supposed to fight them. There was more than one. You're starting to see why finding the power of the gods was so important.

Y/N: We need to get to Asgardian as soon as possible.

Rocket waved his hands to stop you.

Rocket: Let's pump the brakes here. Why would you be fighting the Celestials kid? They've been dormant for hundreds of thousands of years.

You shook your head.

Y/N: It's a lot to break down but just know, some kind of Mad Titan is coming to kill half of the universe and if he does, the Celestials will awaken.

Rocket and Groot looked at each other.

Groot: I am Groot?

Y/N: Yeah, his name is Thanos. How do you guys know him?

Rocket scratched his ear.

Rocket: Yeah. We're going to wait on Gamora on that one. In the meantime, Asgardian inside.

He signaled towards the bar. Right. Worry about the Celestials later. Right now getting the powers was important. The four of you stepped into the bar, only to find it completely empty save for one person. Said person was wearing a old, dirty cloak that covered their face.

???: I thought I made it clear from the last guy I threw out the window, I want to be left alone.

Rocket turned to you and signaled for you to approach her. You took a deep breath and slowly walked towards the woman.

Y/N: You're Asgardian right? I need your help.

???: I suggest you leave before I break that arm of yours.

Yikes. You always figured most Asgardians would be blood thirsty warriors if Thor was anything to go off of. This was just plain hostile.

Y/N: I don't want trouble...

???: Yet you're still talking.

You felt your eye twitch.

Y/N: Can you just hear me....

You suddenly found yourself on the floor. She was faster than your senses. She pointed her sword at you as you looked up.

???: If you leave now, I'll only break 3 fingers.

You pushed the sword away and stood back up.

Y/N: Ok then. The hard way it is.

The woman spun around and swung her sword at you but you were quick to block it with your claws. The sparks were enough to get a glimpse of her face under the hood but she quickly pushed herself away. She readied her swords as you ignited your left hand and left your right free for your claws.

Y/N: Let's see what you Asgardians got.

???: I'm not an Asgardian anymore!

She dashed towards you at great speeds but you managed to block her first blade. Her second one came slicing down towards you but you blocked it after controlling your own sword. You could see her eyes widen at that. Then allowed yourself to phase through the two weapons before appearing behind her. You uaed the sword to slice through her cloak.

Y/N: I really don't want to fight.

???: Too bad. You're stuck with me until one of us is on the floor covered in blood!

As she stood up, her cloak fell.

???: I won't be beaten by someone like you. I'm a damn Valkyrie!

Y/N: I'm not up to date on my Norse Mythology, but I know I'm in danger.

Valkyrie lunged at you but you allowed her to phase through you. You popped out your claws and attacked which she was turned around. She blocked you before delivering a barrage of attacks.

Across the bar, Rocket drank from the mug he had bought while Groot and Nadia watched you fight.

Rocket: You sure he doesn't need help?

Nadia: He'll figure it out.

You eventually phased through he swords once again before you swipped her legs. She fell to the floor and you got on top of her and held your claws against her throat.

Y/N: Can we sit down and talk like civilized people?

She glared at you before sighing.

Valkyrie: So be it. What do you want?
