The Neiffleheim War Pt. 2

You came to a halt as you entered the cave and looked around. There was a massive hole above you that showed the overcast sky yet Laufey was no where to be seen. You looked around some more before you heard the massive footsteps. You turned around and found the giant emerging from his hiding hole.

Laufey: You manged to make it here.

Y/N: Was that your entire plan? Get your lackeys to take me out before I had a chance to break you?

Laufey shook his head as he walked towards his throne.

Laufey: It would have been a much easier death for you. Now, you will die away from your friends.

He picked up his ax and turned back to you.

Laufey: You will die alone here. Cold, bleeding, and I will get Odin's power.

You clenched your fists as the right was engulfed in Odin's lighting and the left had flaming claws.

Y/N: I'm not alone, and I will not be dying here today.

Laufey: Fate has determined otherwise.

He lifted his ax and rushed towards you.

Outside, Robbie rode around destroying everhthing in his path. He came to a halt and reached into his boot where he kept the revolver Cater had given him. He pulled it out and fired six shots of hellfire at the giants. Six giants fell to the ground in agony as the fire consumed them. He looked around and saw that everyone was holding there own. The question was, how much longer can they do this for?

There really was no end. It seemed that for every giant they took out, five more would appear. Robbie rode forward as he looked around. There were so many. There was no end to this horde. He fired his gun as he went but failed to notice a larger giant readying his ax. He brought it down on Robbie who went flying away from his bike and landed in the snow. Robbie picked himself back up and turned to see which one had done it.

He spotted the large giant as he made his way towards Hulk and Gwendolyn. Robbie pulled out his chain and began to march over to where they were. He would break or shoot whatever giant dared to approach him while the bigger giant reached Hulk. He hit Hulk to the ground causing Gwendolyn to go tumbling away. She recovered but couldn't help Hulk when she got swarmed by giants. Hulk got back up and yelled at the giant before charging at him.

The giant simply smacked him aside as Robbie finally reached them. The giant lifted his fist to finish Hulk but found himself held back by a flaming chain. Robbie pulled back which broke his hand off. Robbie then aimed his gun at it but it was smacked away. Robbie looked back at the giant just as he swung his ax at Robbie.

The Ghost Rider flew right into a nearby rock and Robbie turned back to a human. He was in a complete daze as he looked around. The giant slowly approached him as he tried to recover. The giant raised his ax to finish him off as Robbie laid there helpless. Suddenly, the giant was shot with an arrow.

Katie leaped over the rock and began to shot multiple arrows at the frost giant in an attempt to keep him away from Robbie. The boy could do nothing but watch as Katie leaped, rolled, and shot around the beast. Robbie slowly reached out toward her. She needed to get away. This giant wasn't like the others. He needed to say something. Anything. But he couldn't. Then, it happened.

The giant lifted his ax and swung down at Katie, who didn't have enough time to react. The cold metal ended up cutting through her armor and across her chest. Blood sprayed on the snow as she dropped to her knees. Robbie watched in horror as she fellt forward into the frost.

Robbie: No.

The giant raised his ax once again.

Robbie: No!

And he brought it down to finish her.

Robbie: NO!

Robbie looked to his right and saw Gabe angerly close the app on his phone. He had been stuck on the same level for about a week now.

Gabe: Stupid piece of shit.

Robbie: Woah! Language dude.

Gabe: You say worse.

Robbie was driving home after taking Gabe to the mall for some new clothes before school started up again. Gabe had actually surprised him by buying him a new jacket. He didn't know how to feel about the black and white leather but he was sure he was going to wear it with pride.

Gabe: Can I turn on the radio?

Robbie: Of course dude. You're the co-pilot.

Gabe messed with the dial before he found a station he liked.

Gabe: Aw yeah! Motley Cue.

Robbie laughed a bit. It was Gabe's favorite band which both surpised Robbie, and made him worry slightly. He knew Gabe wasn't going to be "smoking in the boy's room" but he was still young.

Gabe: Those girls at the food court kept checking you out.

Robbie smirked. He had seen them but he was hanging out with his brother.

Robbie: No way bro. They were totally checking you out.

Gabe rolled his eyes.

Gabe: Sure they were.

Robbie looked at his brother for a moment.

Robbie: They were. They were like, " Check out the brain on this one."

Gabe laughed which made Robbie smile.

Gabe: No way.

Robbie: De verdad. I'm telling you Gabe, nerds are in right now. Ladies know that they make the money.

Gabe was going to rotort before the car was suddenly hit by a van that seemed to come out of nowhere. The car rolled twice before it came to a stop. Robbie looked around and realized they were both upside down. He looked over to Gabe and saw that he was awake.

Gabe: Robbie?

The men in the van suddenly stepped out and marched over to the car. They opened the door and pulled the two boys out before restraining them. Another man stepped out of the van and walked over to them.

Dr. Hyde: So, this is the legendary Ghost Rider.

Robbie's eyes grew wide. Who were these guys and how did they know about that?

Dr. Hyde: We came here today to offer you a deal. We could use someone with your, power.

Robbie: Yeah? Well go fuck yourselves!

Dr. Hyde: That's not a very nice thing to say to the man who controls rather you make it out of here or not.

Robbie looked to his brother in worry. He knew that he would survive whatever they had for him but not Gabe.

Dr. Hyde: You see, we're with a organization known as Hydra. We have great value for the Rider.

Gabe: Like hell he'll ever join you!

Robbie looked to his brother and even the man seemed surpised.

Dr. Hyde: Oh? And why's that?

Gabe: Because my brother is a Hero. He protects people and punishes the bad!

Robbie: Gabe...

Gabe: And he would never join a bunch of assholes like you!

Dr. Hyde hummed.

Dr. Hyde: Very well then.

He reached into his coat and pulled out a gun. He then aimed it at Gabe's head.

Dr. Hyde: I believe negotiations are in order.

Robbie: LEAVE HIM ALONE!

Dr. Hyde: There it is. The sweet sound of begging. Now, what was that you said about our offer?

Gabe: He said you can shove it where the sun doesn't shine. Ve a comer mierda!

Dr. Hyde: I always did hate that language.

Robbie: Don't touch him. Please!

Gabe: Don't go bowing down to him.

Robbie looked at his brother. Gabe was, smiling.

Gabe: <You're my brother. Give them hell.>

Gabe turned back to the man and spat on his shoe. Dr. Hyde suddenly changed.

Mr. Jekyll: That's it you little shit!

Robbie looked at his brother as time seemed to slow down. Gabe turned to him and smiled.

Gabe: <Never bow. You're the Ghost Rider.>

Robbie pushed himself off the snow as his flames grew gotter than ever before. The giant brought his ax down, but it never made it. He looked down at his hand only to find it missing. He looked over to where Robbie was and instead found something else. The Rider stood there covered in flames. They were bright, they were hot, and the snow that never left Neiffleheim in centuries, started to melt. On the rider's head were two horns that looked sharper than any blade. His chain was sharper and his entire torso was expose leaving a body coated in flaming bone.

Across the battlefield, all of his allies saw the flames rise into the sky. For a moment all of the giants hesitated. The flames slowly turned into a dark blue color as Robbie slowly approached the giant. It stepped back in fear before the flaming chain wrapped around it's neck. The Rider grinned before he pulled on the chain which left the giant without a head. He swung the chain around some more and every giant around him was destroyed. To any one who could see, the chain never even touched them.

Sam: Wow.

Gwen: He got a major upgrade.

Kamala: That just means we can't slow down and let them do all the work!

Riri: Right! Everyone keep it up.

The Guardians all watched in shock.

Gamora: I am so glad they're on our side.

Peter: Wish I had cool powers.

Robbie slowly turned back as he reached Katie. He oicked her up and called on his bike to return. He got on it and rode it up to where Rocket and Mantis were.

Robbie: Can I trust you guys to keep her safe?

Rocket: Sure thing kid. Mantis, take care of her cut.

Mantis nodded and got to work. Robbie turned back to the battle field and transformed back into the Spirit of Vengeance. He stepped on his bike, which seemed to change along with him, and rode back into battle.
