Everyone scattered when Skull opened fire on the empty space. Quentin sent his drones towards the mech but their bullets did nothing. Even normal bullets seemed to bounce off.

Punisher: We need to take that thing down!

Venom enlarged and charged at the mech. He clashed it it and held it in place while the others all rushed over to cover. The mech knocked Venom away before Skull opened fire Venom who harden to protect Eddie. Moon Knight looked at his staff and then at the kids.

Moon Knight: Which one of you has electricity?

Stella rasied her hand.

Moon Knight: Aww, you're adorable. I'm going to stab that skull fuck and you're going to blast it. Don't miss.

Stella nodded. Moon Knight leaped out of cover and threw the staff at the mech. It stabbed into a spot near the cockpit and Stella pointed her hand toward it. She relased a bolt of electricity which hit the staff and the electricity spread over the mech. It shut down temporarily causing Red Skull to scream and cuss at the machine.

Punisher: Attack it now!

Venom charged at the machine and lofted it up. He then threw it away towards the ferris wheel causing it to collapse on top of the mech.

Quentin: Fire u-user?

Sun raised his hand.

Quentin: U-Use your f-flames to melt the m-metal.

Sun nodded and focused his flames to hit the metal. It began to melt under the heat but Sun stopped. He hunched over and tried to catch his breath.

Sun: Damnit. I never had to use my flames that much.

Jericho: I got it from her bro!

Jericho stepped forward and relased a blast of ice which froze the metal to the ground. Everyone stood around and looked at the destruction.

Stella: Did we do it?

The pile of ice and metal shook. Everyone stepped back as the mech rose. It was barely holding itself together with the frost and the metal that was now wielded in it.

Skull: You're not escaping me that easily!

Everyone prepared themselves for a fight, before the mech was hit with an explosive. They all looked back and saw that the jet was flying towards their location. It rained gunfire on the mech before it pulled up. It circled around and Quentin heard a beep in his ear.

???: Good thing we were on time.

The jet landed nearby and the doors opened for two people to rush out.

???: Let's do this!

Quake rushed forward and activated her gauntlets. She leaped up and punched the mech which sent it flying back.

???: I got your back!

Mockingbird rushed forward and threw her staff at the mech. When it landed, she activated a button on her wrist which caused it to blow. The mech stumbled back towards the edge of the cliff.

Skull: Noooo!

The ground gave in and the mech went falling down to the waters below.

Quake: Everyone load up! We need to go!

No one argued. The group rushed to the jet and hopped in. The Mockingbird started up the jet and blasted off before the Hydra soldiers could find them.

Sun: That, was, so, cool!

The adults looked at the three kids confused.

Stella: I know right?! Did you see me zap him?!

Sun: And when I turned up my flames!

Jericho: You guys did great.

He then turned to the others.

Jericho: What happens now?

The Knights all shared a look before Venom looked at the kids.

Venom: We take you to the Avengersss. They will take care of you.

Sun: What's an Avenger?

Quentin: H-Heroes. T-They're friends with y-you're dad.

The kids all looked at each other as Quentin watched. His mind flashed back to the first time he learned about them.

Moon Knight: Not exactly! They're like Laura.

Venom: Think of them as mini Y/N'sss. Hydra usssed his DNA to impregnate women who gave birth to them.

Punisher: Hydra is using a serum to speed up their aging. We think they're making them as weapons.

Quentin was surprised.

Quentin: S-So they're...

Moon Knight: Y/N's kids.

Scratch that. He couldn't imagine the girl's faces when they find out you have three kids.

His thoughts were interrupted when Quake sat down next to him. She nudged him and smiled.

Quake: You did good for your first mission Quen. I guess the Avengers did teach you a thing or two.

Quentin smiled awkwardly.

Quentin: T-Thanks Daisy.

Dasiy then scooted closer and placed a hand on his.

Daisy: We should celebrate later. How about dinner?

Quentin blushed even more. He was thankful his helmet was hiding his face right now.

Quentin: Y-Yeah s-sure.

Daisy winked and headed back to the cockpit. Frank smiled and gave him a thumbs up.

Frank: Good going kid.

Quentin just sunk in his seat. Technically, he was single. He just didn't know if he was ready for another relationship. Maybe they can just be friends for now.

Jericho: Thank you guys, for helping us escape.

Moon Knight smiled under his mask.

Moon Knight: It's what Heroes do.

Moon Knight: The fuck are the Heroes?!

They arrived at Avengers HQ, only to find it empty.

Quake: There wasn't a scheduled mission. SHIELD also didn't send them anywhere.

Sun: So what happens now?

Moon Knight looked around before he saw the TV. Him and Venom shared a look as they sat on the couch.

Venom: Make yourssselvesss comfortable.

Moon Knight: We will wait for their to return.

Frank: Until then, make yourselves at home.

The kids all looked at each other before Sun shrugged and joined them on the couch. Jericho decided to look around the base while Stella talked with Quake and Mockingbird. Quentin looked at all of them and smiled.
