It was about a week after Crossbones tried to take Molly when you were standing in the river. Once again you were naked as you fished. Felicia, or rather Cat, sat on a nearby rock with her book. You caught another fish and tossed it along with the others.

Cat: I think that should be enough.

Y/N: With Molly around? I swear. She eats more than Sam did.

Cat: She does use a lot of power. Who knew she was so strong.

You didn't realize how much power she was packing until you saw her lift up the couch to clean under it, while Victor and Felicia were still sitting on it. She did it with so much ease that you felt embarrassed.

Cat: I think she's growing on Victor.

Y/N: Maybe. The old man is stubborn when you first meet him. It wasn't too long ago that we thought he was actually trying to kill us rather than train us.

You went back to fishing before Cat looked up at you. Her stayed on the scar on your chest. It served as a reminder to not be weak again. It was a reminder to not let anyone else die. She set her book down and stood up. You looked up when you felt the water move. Cat was walking into the water, also naked. You kept your eyes on her as she got closer.

Cat: Hey.

Y/N: Hey.

She looked down at your chest and placed a finger on the scar. She slowly traced it. Your mind flashed back to that day. It was the day you lost a friend and almost lost yourself. Never again. She slowly traced her finger up to your chin before her arm wrapped around your neck. She pulled you closer and the two of you shared a kiss. She pulled away.

Cat: You know, even though you've been through so much, you're still the same Y/N I fell in love with.

You smiled.

Y/N: And you're the same Felicia I fell for. Well, you did get abs.

She playfully smacked your shoulder as the tso of you laughed. You bent down and kissed her again.

Molly: Y/N? Victor was asking for yo...

You and Cat both turned to the side eyed Molly who had just appeared from the woods.

Molly: I-I-I...

Felicia quickly ducked into the water to hide her chest while you just stood there. Not like she could see anything anyway.

Molly: I'll just tell him your busy.

She turned and hurried off. Felicia slowly stood back up.

Felicia: We should go back now.

Y/N: Agreed.

After making it back to the cabin, you found Victor looking at the newspaper. "Maple Leaf Times". Yup. They really went for it.

Victor: I see the two of you are done violating the river.

Y/N: Ok first off, we didn't even do anything. And secondly, we already violated that river when we were training.

Felicia smacked the back of your head. Victor sighed and set the paper down onto the table before sliding it towards you. You pickes it up and read the headline.

Y/N: You wanted to show me, a moose rampage?

Victor: Below that.

You looked under the picture of the moose headbutting a window and saw another interesting photo. It was two figures fleeing from a crime scene. A Hydra base. The title read "Mysterious Figures Stopped Weapons Ring" in all bold letters. And why wasn't this the headline?

Victor: Friends of yours?

You shook your head. Definitely wasn't anyone from the Program.

Y/N: Maybe their Canadian Heroes. Anyone you know?

Victor shook his head as he took the paper back.

Victor: Looks like something that needs to be investigated. I suggest you look into it.

You looked at him for a bit. Sure this could help you and maybe get you some new allies. Why did he care?

Victor: Just know that if you bring anyone else back and it's a man and a woman, you will be sharing a room with the man.

Right. The old man was still a bit old fashioned. You heard something in the kitchen and looked over to see Molly trying to sneak away. Looks like she was still embarrassed about earlier.

Y/N: Alright. We'll check it out. What about Moply though?

Victor stood up and streched.

Victor: I'll train her while the two of you are out.

Felicia looked over to Molly.

Felicia: That poor girl.

You ended up in town around 8 PM to look around for any new faces or maybe a place that would attract possible Heroes. A bar maybe? You didn't have a fake ID and neither did Felicia. Well, she did but she never used it. Cat did. Constantly.

Felicia: Where do you think they are?

Y/N: Maybe in a motel somewhere. Maybe tracking down some drug dealers. Playing BINGO?

Felicia: Please take this seriously.

Y/N: I am! Those are literally the only three things to do here.

Felicia looked around before stopping.

Felicia: Not everything.

You followed her stare and saw something truly amazing. A man with a skimask, trying to rob Jerry. Poor, sweet Jerry. Welp. Guess they have to die now. You and Felicia walked over to the store and watched as the man held a gun at Jerry who had his hands up.

Y/N: Right. So, we should do something.

Felicia: After you.

You placed you hand on your chest.

Y/N: Why thank you.

You then kicked in the door which slammed right into the robber. You entered the shop and waved at Jerry.

Y/N: Hey Jer Bear. This guy messing with ya?

Jerry just nodded. You grabbed the door and tossed it aside before picking up the man by his shirt.

Y/N: Look, I'm going to make this very easy to understand. You do not threaten Jerry or his store. You do not threaten anyone here. I could break every single bone in your body and not feel a single ounce of sympathy if I wanted to. Now, you're gonna dissapear and never come back. You understand me?

The man quickly nodded. You then smiled.

Y/N: Great.

The man went flying through the window. He quickly got up and ran off. You walked outside.

Y/N: And stay out!

You crossed your arms proudly.

Y/N: Ah. This is nice.

Your senses suddenly went off and you ducked in time to miss a flying white dagger. You stood back up and looked around. You spread your arms.

Y/N: Hey!

Your senses went off again and you leaped away to avoid another dagger. Hydra? You watched as the dagger vanished.

???: You won't hurt anyone else.

You stood straight up and slowly turned around. There stood a man, and a woman. Felicia rushed out of the shop and saw you staring them down.

Y/N: You two were in the paper. Just the folks I was looking for.

Man: You won't be bothering this town for much longer.

You raised a brow. Did they think that guy was innocent? Looking at the damage you did look kinda suspicious. You raised your hands.

Y/N: Woah there. I'm the good guy in this situation.

Man: Like hell you are. We've seen your kind before. Playing the Hero so everyone lives in fear.

Woman: We won't let that happen again.

Shit. Looks like this might just end in a fight. This definitely wasn't good in the middle of town. Felicia ran forward and placed herself in front of you. What was she doing?!

Felicia: He's telling the truth! You can ask the owner. We live here. That guy was trying to rob Jerry.

Woman: Who's Jerry.

You all looked back to the store where Jerry was waving happily.

Jerry: Thanks for the help.

Y/N: Anytime Jer Bear.

He dissapeared back into his shop and you turned back to the duo.

Y/N: Look, can we just talk? We're actually Heroes. We can help each other out.

Man: How do you figure?

Felicia: We're also trying to find Hydra. A friend of ours was hurt by them.

The man and woman traded looks. Finally they nodded.

Y/N: Great! Well, I'm Y/N and this is Felicia.

Man: It's nice to meet you. You can call us Cloak and Dagger.

Y/N: Cool names!

You all ended uo back at the cabin where Victor served them mugs of hot cocoa. As he walked away he was mumbling to himself about "taking in more strays" or something.

Y/N: Those are some, interesting powers you got there. And you come in a packaged deal.

Cloak: You said you were looking for Hydra. They took someone you know?

Cat: Not exactly. Our friend Molly was with a grouo when they were attack. We were also attacked by someone working for them.

Dagger: Sounds rough. I'm sure it was no big deal for the Monster of Power though.

You and Cat looked at each other. That was a new one.

Cloak: We would appreciate your help but truly we don't need to stay with you. We can manage with what we got.

Y/N: No its fine. Really. We need to help each other out as much as possible if we're going to be taking on Hydra.

Cloak and Dagger looked at each other for a moment begore nodding.

Dagger: Alright.

You smiled. New allies gained. Cat took a sip of her tea.

Cat: So why are you all going after Hydra?

Cloak lowered his head and Dagger placed a hand on his lap.

Dagger: They're the ones who did this to us. Turned us into, this.

Oh. Human lab rats. You definitely knew what that felt like.

Cloak: They took our lives away from us. We want to make them pay.

Vengeance. You also knew that feeling.

Y/N: Alright then. We'll just have to take them down together and get that revenge. We'll also find Molly's friends along the way as well. Blow up a base or two and presto! Hydra will feel our wrath.

You saw Cloak smile a bit.

Victor: It won't be all messing around though.if you stay here you will train everyday with each other.

Dagger: Of course! We actually were looking for someone who could help us practice. We're still kinda new to these powers.

Yous told up and held out your hand.

Y/N: Well then, looks like we're a team.

Cloak and Dagger stood up. Dagger shook your hand.

Dagger: Glad to be here.
