Day 3. It was Day 3 since Spidey dropped you off at this huge building with no one inside. He explained that the people who lived there were currently out on a mission which only raised more questions than answers. He stayed with you for most of the day, only leaving for patrol, and told you to make yourself at home. The place was pretty nice though. Big open space for a living room, fancy kitchen filled to the brim with food and snacks, and a TV. TV was nice. You didn't know how to use it but hey, TV.

He even showed you to a empty room where you were going to stay. It wasn't anything big but it was yours. A bed pushed against the wall to the right along with a desk adjacent to it. The closet was bigger than you needed since you only had one shirt and a single pair of pants. Spidey ended up bringing a box back from one of his patrols and gave it to you. It was a bunch of his old clothes that could fit you. There was also a window that looked out to the city below.

You ended up walking around barefoot since your shoes made your feet hurt. Spidey also caught you sleeping on the floor rather than the bed. The mattress just didn't feel right to you so the floor it was. At least for the first night. The second night was spent in the closet which you enjoyed. The shower was something to be amazed by. It was a shower! Greatest thing ever!

You've seen a shower before and of course you've used one. The Old Man would get invited to some retirement home for a hook up and he would sneak you in for a quick shower and maybe a meal before you would get chased out. Still, the strawberry shampoo was wonderful. Your H/C hair was finally clean and the bags under your eyes were final going away.

Today was the day you were going to start your first test with Spidey regarding your powers. He found you in your room, asleep in your closet to be exact, and lead you to the level below.

Y/N: So what will we be doing?

Spidey: Just some basic stuff. Run you through some scenarios to see what you can do.

Y/N: You're not gonna drop a car on me or send me flying on a launch pad are you?

Spidey: That was a specific guest.

Y/N: Saw it on the TV yesterday.

You reached a door which Spidey opened. The room was just a large white room with nothing inside.

Y/N: This is neat. So, what now?

Spidey: Now I turn on the simulator. Good luck.

You watched him walk to another wall and type on some device. The room suddenly began to glow before you were in the streets of New York. Everything looked so life like minus the lack of people.

Y/N: Cool.

Spidey: Alright, first up is strength.

Suddenly a chunk of metal was in front of you.

Spidey: Pick it up and I'll slowly make it heavier. Once it becomes too much just drop it.

You nodded and picked up the meat. You were able to hold it in one hand. Spidey then began to increase the weight which you felt. It didn't really become too much for a while. Eventually it got to the point when you had to hold it with two hands. Spidey continued to increase the weight but it wasn't too heavy. Spidey looked down at the device and was amazed to see that it was already 250 lbs. He continued to increase the weight until you had to hold it tighter. At 460 lbs you were placing it on your back. At 890 lbs you were struggling. Once it reach 1350 lbs you dropped it, unable to hold it anymore.

Spidey recorded the results and nodded impressed.

Spidey: Not bad. 1350 lbs seems to be your limit as of right now.

You didn't know what to say. It was pretty cool but also very weird. How was that even possible?

Spidey: Alright. Next up is agility. I'm gonna bring up a bad guy and you'll have to avoid getting hit.

Y/N: Uh, ok.

The piece of metal dissappear and was replaced by a man dressed as a street thug. Your body began to feel weird again just as the simulation started to swing at you. You simply stepped back. This went one for three more swings until Spidey uped the level. The man began to get a bit more technical and started kicking. Every single time you dodged thanks to this feeling in your body.

You were so focused on the man that you didn't realize that Spidey had created another attacker. Your body acted weird and you were able to dodge an attack from behind. Spidey's eyes went wide at your actions.

Spidey: Alright, start fighting.

You obeyed and waited for the first man to attack. Once he did, you caught his wrist and used him as a makeshift weapon by slamming him against the second man. They shattered into small triangles, defeated.

Spidey: How'd you know about the second guy?

You just shrugged.

Y/N: My body just felt weird. Figured it was cause I was in danger.

Spidey recorded the results and took note of your statement.

Spidey: Is it like my spidey sense?

He typed some other stuff into the device and a large wall appeared before you.

Spidey: Climb it.

You raised a brow but didn't question it. You placed a hand on the smooth surface and sighed.

Y/N: How am I supposed to climb this?

Spidey: Just try. I got to see what you can and can't do.

You just nodded and took a step back before running towards the wall. You tried to grab onto something but the wall was just too smooth. You ended up slipping and falling back to the ground. Luckily you weren't too far off the ground so you landed on your feet. You backed up and tried again. No luck.

Spidey: So he can't climb walls like me. Radioactive spider is out.

You groaned in frustration before stepping back further. You began to run towards the wall once again and let your feet touch first. You used your strength to push yourself up a bit higher and reached out to try and grab something, anything that could help. Instead something else happened. To your absolute horror, a three metal claws stabbed out of your skin.

Y/N: Ahhh!

You ended up falling backwards to the ground. You weren't hurt, at least it didn't feel like it, and looked down at your hands. The metal blades were still there. Your skin wasn't bleeding somehow and seemed to actually grow around the claws, closing the wounds.

Y/N: What the hell?!

Spidey placed the device down and rushed over to see what the problem was. Once he saw the claws he immediately knew what was going on. He kneeled down next to you and placed a hand on your shoulder.

Spidey: Alright, calm down. Just take a breath. In, out, in, out.

You listened to him and tried to clam down but just couldn't. There were metal claws that came from inside you!

Spidey: Just relax the muscles in your hand and think about them retracting.

You did as you were told and the claws slowly returned to your hands. The open wounds were once again healed. Spidey looked at you and wondered just who you were.

Spidey: Does Logan have another kid? That can't be right, he has strength and something similar to my Spidey Sense.

Y/N: How did I even do that?

Spidey didn't have an answer.

Spidey: How about you take a break? We can finish this later on.

You nodded and followed Spidey out of the room. You only had more questions than answers.

Spidey: Is it alright if I ask you some questions?

You just nodded. Spidey sat you on the couch and left to the kitchen. He returned with two bottles of water. He handed you one which you gladly took.

Spidey: How old are you kid?

Y/N: 16, I think. I don't really know when my birthday is so it's kind of hard to tell. I just go by the winter.

Spidey: The winter?

Y/N: The first day of snow is when my birthday is. It's hard to tell when that is since I usually move around a lot.

Spidey lifted the bottom half of his mask and took a drink of water. He still hasn't shown you his identity due to "safety precautions" or something.

Spidey: So, you don't know anything about your parents?

You shook your head.

Y/N: If I did, I don't remember. I don't think I've actually ever seen their faces.

Spidey: How did you survive this long?

You just shurgged.

Y/N: Dumb luck.

For as long as you could remember, you've been alone. Sure you had the Old Man whenever he was around but he still had his own thing.

Spidey: And when did you first display these powers?

Y/N: During that fight with Cap. This is all new to me. I've never done that with my hand before.

And now you were scared that you were going to do it again while you were asleep.

Spidey: Looks like you got the same thing as Lo-ah, Wolverine. Seems like you got an early warning system and some kind of healing factor.

Y/N: Early warning system?

Spidey: Yeah. I have something similar.

That explains the weird feeling you got during the fight against the Wrecking Crew and the simulation. Why haven't you ever felt it before?

Spidey: Maybe we should just call it for today. You can watch TV or something.

You nodded. You were going to take a nap.

Y/N: When are the people coming back? Do they even know I'm here?

Spidey nodded.

Soidey: I already got all that handled. They won't be back until the end of the week. 4 more days maybe? Enjoy the silence while it lasts.

Spidey ruffled your hair and began to walk out to the balcony.

Spidey: You know the drill.

He gave a mock salute before leaping off the building. A web was shot out and you watched him swing away. Looks like you were on your own. Time for a cat nap.
