It was a week after your battle with Quentin when life began to calm down somewhat. Nadia was allowed back into her home and Quentin was taken to the RAFT. You and Venom were now back on talking terms though you could tell that he was still hurting over everything. You spent less time in your room and actually went on a date with Viv. It wasn't anything too grand. You ended up walking past the film room more often. You often found Quentin's locker vandalized.

You ended up meditating with Danny more often or reading with Kitty. Widow allowed you a week long break after two major fights back to back but you refused. You were determined to be prepared for the next attack. M.O.D.O.K, Taskmaster, and even Carnage were still out there. You had to be ready.

You were in your room when you heard a tap at your window. You opened it and looked around before you heard something behind you.

Y/N: You really like sneaking into my room.

Nadia: Sorry.

You turned around and found Nadia standing there in her Wasp gear.

Y/N: Were you on patrol?

Nadia shook her head.

Nadia: I like to fly around sometimes. It clears my head.

Despite the friendly interaction, there was something sad in both of your voices. This was the first time you spoke to each other since you defeated Quentin. Nadia looked sround your room.

Nadia: Where's your bed?

You pointed to your closet. She saw the pile of blankets and pillows.

Nadia: You sleep in your closet?

Y/N: It's comfortable.

The two of you stood there for a bit in awkward silence. Venom appeared on your shoulder.

Venom: Did you need sssomething?

Nadia suddenly snapped out of her thoughts.

Nadia: Y-Yeah. Actually I was wondering if, you were free right now?

You nodded. Training was done for the day and Viv and Felicia were with the other girls on some "girls night out" situation. You didn't ask.

Nadia: Then would you like to come get ice cream with me? It's kinda my go to comfort food.

You smiled.

Y/N: Of course.

You ended up at a ice cream shop not too far from Nadia's place. She had changed into normal clothes and the two of you almost looked like normal teenagers. The only thing that stood out was the bags under her eyes and distant stare you had. You ate your ice cream in silence while everyone around you happily chatted.

Nadia: This was his favorite place.

You looked up and saw that she was staring at her cup.

Nadia: He used to always bring me here after the science fair or a bad day.

You didn't need to ask.

Nadia: I had a lot of those. Bad days. Mom says I get them from dad.

You nodded to show that you were listening.

Nadia: They happened randomly. I would get really happy and then, I always ended up in a dark place. I tried to focus on my "work" to try and get away from it. It worked for a while. Once everything became stressful, things got worse.

You abandoned your ice cream while Nadia took a deep breath.

Nadia: Quentin would always try to help. He was good at it to. He would take over things for the club if he saw that I was too stressed or frustrated. For some reason, that only made me feel worse.

She set her cup down.

Nadia: Then you came along.

You looked up at her.

Nadia: You blended in so well that I was happy for Quentin to make a new friend. You stood up for him. He really liked you. He said that you were the heart of the group.

The heart?

Nadia: And I can see why. Your kind, brave, strong. You never let us give up and always pushed us to do more. You were an inspiration for us.

She looked up and locked eyes with you.

Nadia: And I admired you as well. Before we went to fight him, I was scared. He was just so strong and so unhinged, I paniced. I started to doubt myself but when I looked at you I knew. I knew that everything was going to be ok. That bad day suddenly became a hopeful one. All because I looked at you and I saw that you weren't scared.

Before the fight. You were uncertain yourself but you knew that you had to do what you did.

Nadia: When I kissed you I felt so much confidence that I wasn't scared anymore. Originally I did it because I didn't want to end up dying with any regrets.

You raised a brow.

Y/N: That wasn't your first kiss was it?

Nadia blushed before nodding.

Nadia: I thought we were going to die until I did it.

Well now you felt like an asshole. Wasn't this supposed to cheer you up?

Nadia: But after, I realized that Quentin was right.

Your eyes went wide. If Quentin was right...

Nadia: I think I love you.

You didn't say anything. Why weren't you surpised? Why weren't you shocked? Was it because you already believed Quentin? Why didn't you feel guilty? You just lowered your head. You have been through a lot with her. From taking down the A.I.M bases to reaching a unattainable goal with the Film Club. Even with everything over the last three weeks.

Nadia: I'm sorry if I make things weird. I know you have Felicia already and I don't want to ruin that.

You shook your head.

Y/N: Can I tell you a super hero secret?

Nadia nodded.

Y/N: I'm actually dating her and Viv. They agreed to this group thing that I'm still kinda getting used to.

Nadia blushed.

Nadia: Like a h-h-h-....

Venom: Harem.

Nadia was suddenly really interested in her melted icecream. You ended up cooling it with your powers to keep it from melting all the way.

Nadia: T-Then, maybe I should talk to them about this.

Felicia: About what?

Y/N/Nadia: AH!

You suddenly noticed Felicia and Viv standing there while the others were inside ordering.

Y/N: W-What are you doing here?!

Viv: Kitty's "Girls Just Want To Have Fun" Night has lead us here for ice cream. We are to go "clubbing" after.

You didn't like the sound of that. Especially if Katie and Cat were involved. You were really hoping you didn't get a call to pick them up at the police station....again.

Felicia: So what were you two talking about? I thought I heard my name.

Nadia lookes to you for an answer. You just shrugged.

Y/N: Nadia just confessed her feelings for me.

Nadia: WHY WOULD YOU TELL THEM THAT?!

Y/N: Was that not why you were looking at me?

Nadia: I thought you could come up with an excuse.

Y/N: Well say that next time.

Viv and Felicia looked at each other.

Felicia: Isn't she technally you great aunt or something.

Viv projected a hologram which showed a, very, uh, interesting family tree.

Viv: If I were human than yes. Her father is my grandfather's creator.

Y/N: Your dad has a lot of children.

Nadia: All creations. I'm actually the the only human child he has. Imagine having Ultron as a half brother.

Felicia: So would that be weird or...

Viv: I will not engage in any physical activity with her.

Cat: Then we're good to go.

She suddenly sat on Nadia's lap and smiled.

Cat: Welcome to the club.

She kissed her cheek and placed her face against Nadia's

Cat: We got a real cutie here. Though I doubt you could be more adorable than Viv.

Viv: I am told I am quite adorable.

Cat: Yes you are.

She stood back and and began to stretch.

Cat: Well we should be getting back to our girls. You two have fun. But not too much fun~

You and Nadia both blushed at her comment.

Viv: I have yet to engage in sexual activities with Y/N.

Y/N: I THINK YOU WERE LEAVING!

Cat laughed and pulled Viv along who attempted to laugh as well. You let your head drop onto the table with a groan.

Y/N: I'm sorry about them.

Venom: I'm not. Now give me a gummy bear.

He grabbed one of the gummy bears from your ice cream and held it with two tentacles before eating it.

Y/N: You seem happy suddenly.

Venom: You jussst got a new girl. I'm proud. Now give me another gummy.

You just slid the cup closer to your body to give him easy access.

Nadia: What just happened?

You laughed.

Y/N: I think you just join "my" harem.

Nadia: Why did you say it like that?

You sighed.

Y/N: Pretty sure it's more Felicia's harem than my own.

Nadia began to laugh which casued you to smile. Whatever tension was in the air was now gone. Looks like you'll be ok after all.

And across the street, a curly red haired boy watched you with a evil, sharp tooth smile.
