You woke up with a groan before you looked at the time. It was early by earth's standards but the way things worked everywhere was so different you couldn't tell up from down. You looked around and found Nadia reading a book against the wall of the bed. She noticed you were awake and smiled.

Nadia: Yo.

You smirked.

Y/N: Yo?

Nadia: I'm trying to be cool. I'm cool now.

You rolled your eyes and kissed her.

Y/N: Sure you are. Dork.

Nadia: Nerd.

You climbed out of bed and walkes over to the cockpit. You looked at the map and saw that you were almost at your next location. You sat down and set it on manual so you could pilot it.

Y/N: Hmm. Never learned to drive a car but I can fly a spaceship. That's the Creed Life.

You heard Nadia snort behind you.

Y/N: Thank you!

You flew the ship before you saw where you were going.

Y/N: Holy shit.

Y/N: That's a big head.

Nadia: What about a head?

She stood next to you and looked at the floating space head.

Nadia: That is a big head.

You flew the ship around and got the OK message from the center. You followed the directions and flew into the port where you took an empty spot. Once you landed, you turned to Nadia.

Y/N: Welcome to Knowhere.

Nadia: This is weird. Looks like one of those 80's future anime shows.

You shrugged. You and Nadia quickly got dressed before you stepped out. Immediately you noticed that there wasn't just one type of alien here. There were all kinds everywhere.

Nadia: Wow.

You looked around before you saw a man approaching you. You turned to greet him but he stopped before he even reached you.

Man: <Are you from earth?>

You looked at Nadia before nodding.

Man: <Come with me. Our leader wishes to speak to you.>

You raised up your arms.

Y/N: <Not happening.>

Man: <I understand your worries. Our leader is in charged around here. He wishes to help you during your time here.>

You looked at Nadia and explained the situation.

Nadia: I mean, if things do go south we can take them.

Y/N: I can't disagree with that.

You turned back towards the man and nodded.

Y/N: <Lead the way.>

The man nodded and turned around. You both decided to follow.

Man: <He is through this door.>

The man left without another word leaving you and Nadia.

Nadia: He wasn't very pleasant.

Y/N: These guys hardly are.

You both shared a knowing smirk before you turned back to the door. You knocked and waited for a response.

???: Come in!

You and Nadia looked at each other.

Y/N: Is it just me or did that sound like a little kid?

Nadia: I heard it to.

You both hesitated before you opened the door. You and Nadia froze when you looked at the desk and who was sitting there. No. Not who. What.

???: Hello! Welcome to Knowhere! I'm Cosmo and I act as Mayor around here!

Y/N: Uh....

Nadia: I must be dreaming. He's so cute!

Cosmo: So are you! I am so very happy to meet other Earthlings!

You laughed awkwardly as Nadia took a seat across from the talking dog. You finally snapped out of your trance and joined her.

Y/N: So, uh, Cosmo, the man that brought us here told us that you wanted to help us.

Cosmo: Yes! I don't get to meet many people from Earth around here! I want to assist my fellow Earthling with bed and food!

Nadia: That's great! Thank you.

Cosmo: I am a good boy!

You and Nadia looked at each other.

Y/N: Y-Yeah. You are.

Cosmo: Yay! Now since I have you I would like to ask for some help in return! A trade!

Nadia: What do you need our help with?

Cosmo: Bandits are on the rise here and I need them taken care of!

Y/N: Like as in run them out of town or....

Cosmo: Kill them dead!

You and Nadia were shocked at his happy demeanor. How could he say that so happily?

Cosmo: I have a friend who can help! He's nice! Also from Earth!

You raised a brow.

Y/N: Another human?

Cosmo: Yep! He will meet you at the bar in the East sector on the 20th floor! You'll know him when you see him!

You nodded awkwardly before standing up.

Y/N: Then we'll head that way. We'll be back here once we, take care of your problem.

Cosmo: Leave none standing!

Nadia: So cute!

Cosmo: I know!

You just rolled your eyes and headed out.

Y/N: Bar in the East sector...Ah! Found it.

You and Nadia moved through the streets towards the bar while avoiding any dangerous looking folks. You and Nadia entered the sketchy bar and found only a few people inside. You looked adound before spotting a man who looked human. That must be the guy.

Nadia: He looks like he's seen better days.

Y/N: Absolutely. Might as well go introduce ourselves.

You both walked over to him and looked at him. He looked up and nodded.

???: Take a seat. Get a drink. Get comfortable.

You looked at Nadia. What was the age limit here? Did it even matter? You couldn't get drunk and Nadia didn't drink. You sat down anyway.

Y/N: So Cosmo told us to meet you. Said that you were going to help?

???: Yeah. I'm....

Thug: <Quill!>

You and Nadia turned around to see three large aliens approaching your table. You looked back at the human, Quill, who groaned.

Quill: I swear. I'm going to strangle that damn rat when I see him again.

He stood up and faked a smile.

Quill: <Gentlemen, nice to see you all. I regret to inform you that my friends are not here at ghe moment so...>

The man grabbed him and slammed him against the wall. You and Naida looked at each other before she shrugged.

Nadia: Bar fight?

You gave it some thought.

Y/N: Bar fight.

You kicked the table up and Naida blasted one of the men. You popped oit your claws and stabbed the second man. Quill kicked the man holding him and pulled out his blaster before shotting him two times. The man fell to the ground and Quill sighed.

Quill: I guess that settles that. Now I don't have to sell Rocket as a sex slave.

He looked up at you and Nadia. He smiled.

Quill: So you guys are from Earth. Nice you meet you both. My name is Peter but you can call me....

Quill: Star Lord.
