It was a week later when you were hiding behind a rock looking at a large building. Hydra. Where were you? New Mexico baby! Everything was so damn hot. Lucky Cloak had been to New Mexico and it was only a two hour drive to the cloest town.

Molly: I hate it here!

Dagger: I agree with the kid.

This was barely your second base raid but you had great confidence in everyone. You walked back to everyone and smiled. Since you were in the desert no one wore any extra clothing. It was good to get away from the cold.

Felicia: What did you see?

Y/N: A few guards here and there. It doesn't look too heavily guarded. Kinda like the last one.

Tyrone: Good. You think we can sneak in?

You shook your head.

Y/N: Lools like one way in and one way out on either side. Unless we can deal with the guards silently we're gonna have to Russian stealth this thing.

Molly looked up to you.

Molly: What's Russian stealth?

Everyone glared at you.

Y/N: Uh, it just means we're going to beat everyone up.

Molly: Oh! Cause Russians are violent!

Everyone once again glared at you.

Y/N: Not all of them. I think.

You turned back towards the base and signaled for everyone to do their part of the plan. Cat and Molly were going to take the back while You and Dagger got the front. Cloak was going to provide help to whoever needed it. You and Cloak rushed to a closer place to hide while Cat and Molly got into their position.

Y/N: On my mark.

You peeked out and spotted three guards.

Y/N: Now!

You and Dagger emerged from your spots. Dagger threw her knives while you fired off some fireballs. They all hit their marks and you both bolted towards the door. The alarms went off causing you to smirk.

Y/N: At least they have back up.

Dagger threw three more knives at incoming guards before you blasted off. You held your arms out on the side and clothes lined two more. You rolled to a stop and looked around. All of you had already decided that the chances of finding anything was thin. A bit too thin. Regardless, everyone needed the practice.

You kicked yourself off a nearby wall and slammed a leg against another guard. So far so good. Now you just needed to keep this up. Maybe you could find something interesting here. Some kind of top secret evil plan or perhaps a new weapon. That'd be fun to destroy.

Dagger threw a few more daggers and you leaped up. You froze your leg and slammed down on the last remaining guard.

Y/N: Sweet.

You and Dagger moved through the halls before Cloak appeared.

Cloak: The girls made it into a lab. They're looking around right now.

Y/N: Awesome maybe we can find something here.

The three of you looked through the halls and found a door leading to what was surely a important room. You all entered it and found the place completely torn apart. Fire was everywhere and you noticed a huge hole on the side of the building.

Dagger: Looks like someone already beat us to it.

Y/N: I don't want to meet whoever made that.

???: Too late.

Your senses went off and you were hit in the face by a chain. Cloak and Dagger turned towards the new enemy only for Cloak to be knocked back as well.

Dagger: Cloak!

She readied three daggers and threw them at your attacker. The man dodged. He then pulled out two more red burning chains. Both of which wrapped around Dagger causing her to cry out in pain. The man was about to pull on them but you caught him off guard but blasting right into him. He flew back a few feet before standing back up. Now that you got a good look at him, you were actually horrified.

Y/N: What the hell are you?

???: Call me, Ghost Rider.

He whistled and a flaming car appeared beside him. He opened the door and threw in a file.

Ghost Rider: Now, I can deal with you.

He lunged towards you but you grabbed his jacket and thew him backwards. He stood back up and conjured up a fire ball in his hand. You mirrored the action and threw it at the same time. The balls of fire collided and and exploded. When you could see, he was already on you. He stabbed you shoulder with a knife and knocked you to the ground. He then looked deep into your eyes.

Ghost Rider: Now repent.

He contiued to stare at you for a while but nothing happened. He seemed confused so you used the chance to kick him off of you.

Y/N: Ok, this is beyond weird.

Ghost Rider stood back up and looked at you.

Ghost Rider: You're immune.

Y/N: To most things yeah.

He summoned his chains again and threw them at you. You caught it and pulled him towards you. You then punched him when he got close enough. With Ghost Rider down, you slammed your foot against his chest.

Y/N: Just please give up.

Ghost Rider struggled before his flames began to grow dim. You watched as he transform into a Latino teenage boy. He opened his eyes and looked up at you.

Ghost Rider: You're strong.

Y/N: So I'm told.

You let off of him and noticed that the car was back to normal. What was that about? The boy sat up and rubbed his head.

Ghost Rider: Sorry about that. I tend to loose control sometimes.

Cloak: What was that?

The boy sighed.

Ghost Rider: The rider. A powerful demon that possesses me.

You held out a hand and helped him up. Your senses weren't going off so he wasn't a threat.

Ghost Rider: Thanks. Do I know you? You look familar.

You crossed your arms.

Y/N: People call me Monster. This is Cloak and Dagger.

Ghost Rider: My name is Robbie. Robbie Reyes. What are you guys doing here?

Dagger: We could ask you the same question.

Robbie seemed hesitant.

Robbie: Hydra took something from me. My brother. He was killed after learned who I was. They wanted to use me or something. I'm trying to find out who was responsible.

Yet another kid with a vendetta against Hydra. Cat and Molly rushed in and saw the destroyed room.

Cat: Is that a car?

Cloak: Wait until you can see what it can do.

They all gathered around you and Robbie.

Y/N: So you want revenge against Hydra to?

Robbie nodded.

Y/N: Cool. Wanna join us?

Robbie looked at you like your were a mad man.

Robbie: Join you? Didn't you just see what I did?

You pointed to Cloak and Dagger.

Y/N: The white one can see your greatest hopes and shoot daggers. The black one can see your greatest fears, teleport people, and send people to the Dark Dimension.

You the pointed to Molly.

Y/N: She has super strength and is pretty much invaluable.

You then pointed to yourself.

Y/N: I'm a crazy mix of DNA that gains powers in order to survive and can rival a god if it came down to it.

Robbie looked to Cat.

Cat: I steal things.

Y/N: She steals things.

Robbie looked at all of you in disbelief.

Robbie: So what is this? Some kind of messed up Avengers?

You smiled as your crossed your arms.

Y/N: Actually, we're the Strikers.

Robbie looked at all of you before sighing.

Robbie: I appreciate the offer but, I don't want to burden anyone. This thing inside of me....

Cat: Is something we can help you control.

Y/N: We're all a bunch of misfits. That's why we can help you out.

Robbie looked back at his car and sighed.

Robbie: Since you're going after Hydra to. I guess I can, work with you all.

You smiled.

Y/N: Great! I would not want you as an enemy.

You held out your hand. Robbie looked at it before shaking it.

Y/N: Welcome to the team. I hope you like Canada.

Robbie: Never been.

You both let go before looking around the base. Yep. Your work here was done.

Dagger: Hey, what did you throw in your car?

Robbie looked back at his car and opened the door. He reached in and pulled out a file.

Robbie: This has some more Hydra locations. I was going to check them out.

He handed you the file and you looked over the list.

Y/N: Looks like we're going on a road trip.
