It was now Wednesday and things had not gotten better. Felicia was outright avoiding you and Carnage was still loose. You were tired after not sleeping since everything happened and Venom was now in full dad mode.

Venom: You ssskipped breakfassst again.

Venom: You ssslept for lessss than an hour.

Venom: SSSSSSLEEP ALREADY DAMN IT!

You just rolled your eyes as you rolled to your side. You were actually planning on sleeping. It was as good as a time as any since Widow had called off training to head to Avengers Tower. Your eyelids were heavy and you could almost feel the sweet embrace of sleep. Nice, lovely, sleep.

Gwendolyn: GET SUITED UP!

Y/N: AHHHHHHHHHHHH

Venom: AHHHHHHHHHHHH

Gwendolyn: AHHHHHHHHHHHH

Everyone was now yelling as this strange masked woman was standing in your room.

Y/N: Who the hell are you?!

Gwendolyn: I'm Gwendolyn. Gwenpool.

Venom: Why are you here?!

Gwendolyn: I got tired of waiting for our team up arc so I found an A.I.M base. We're going to go destroy it.

Y/N: Why?

Gwendolyn: Because I said so. Now get dressed.

Y/N: I want to sleep.

Gwendolyn: Too bad. Cue the transition.

You were now in costume next to Gwendolyn looking at a random shack in the middle of an empty lot. Seriously. There was nothing here.

Y/N: What the hell Gwendolyn?

Gwendolyn: Gwenpool. As for what the hell, there is a massive base underneath this seemingly normal shack. Observe.

She walked over the tin shack and opened it. There was nothing inside. She entered and began to mess with a bunch of tools. She kept mumbling to herself before something clicked. You entered the shack as well and the door closed before the floor began to lower. It was an elevator.

Y/N: How did you know?

Gwendolyn: Secret elevator leading to a secret evil lab. Classic.

Actually, you knew what she was talking about for once. The elevator came to a stop and the two of you entred the hall. You looked around and sure enough, there was a logo for A.I.M. painted on the wall. Gwenpool began to roll and hide behind cover while you just watched.

Y/N: What are you doing?

Gwendolyn: Hiding. Who knows what might pop out.

Y/N: What's going to possibly....

Suddenly, someone popped out of a hiding place. You wondered why your senses didn't go off, until you saw who it was.

Y/N: Nadia?

Nadia, suited up as the Wasp, gave a curt wave before looking over to Gwendolyn. She sighed and turned back go you.

Nadia: What are you doing here?

Gwendolyn: We're having an epic team up. Though if you're here, the title might've already told people that.

Nadia looked to you for answers. You just shrugged.

Venom: We can talk about thisss later. Evil lab and what not.

Nadia: Right. I guess we could partner up to take down another base.

You nodded while Gwendolyn began to shake with excitement.

Gwendolyn: I get two superhero beasties?! Best day ever!

You and Nadia looked at each other before sighing. You all continued down the hall before you reached a door. Nadia pulled a wire from her wrist and connected it to the panel. She began to type away while you talked to Venom.

Y/N: Can you sense anyone inside?

Venom: No. Sssseemssss like there issss life further down.

Y/N: Alright.

There was a beep and the door slid open. You entered and found yourself in a room which branched into three different halls. Nadia checked up on her stolen map and turned towards the left hall.

Nadia: The thing I'm looking for is down here.

Y/N: I don't even know what we're looking for.

Gwendolyn: We're looking for whatever. I'm sure if we follow her we'll eventually come across a huge revelation. Maybe meet a new bad guy.

Venom: Sssshe doessssn't ssssshut up.

You followed Nadia down the hall and finally reached a room. She began to hack into the panel again. Venom confirmed the room was empty. Once the doors opened, you all entered.

The room was filled with tanks of some green liquid. On the tanks themselves were biohazard markings.

Nadia: So it was true. They're trying to recreate the super soldier serum.

Y/N: As in the thing that they injected into Cap?

Nadia nodded. That could be a problem. A big problem. You looked around some more and spotted a table near the back corner. You checked it out and found a file. It was regarding the Godslayer program. You opened it up.

Y/N: Whatever this is, it has something to do with this Godslayer thing.

You read through the files. They explained that the serum was actually to recreate the Godslayer program. They had all failed. That means that these tanks were either a new batch, or the failed one. Venom appeared on your shoulder.

Venom: Two people are coming thisss way.

Shit. You all scattered to hide just as the door opened. A man in the A.I.M uniform walked in and looked around. There was another voice from the hall.

???: Where did you put it?!

A.I.M Scientist: It's on my desk sir.

???: Hurry and grab it. My patience is wearing thin.

The scientist rushed over to the desk and grabbed the file. He then returned to the hall and the door closed. You all stepped out of your spots.

Nadia: I wonder who that was.

Gwendolyn: A new baddie! Let's go take him down!

You placed an arm on her shoulder.

Y/N: Calm down. We need to explore some more and find out exactly what they're doing.

Gwendolyn seemed disappointed. She mumbled something about "sneaking around is the lamest part" before walking off. You rolled your eyes and followed. Nadia caught up with the two of you and you once again reached the four way spot. Nadia left the decision up to you.

Y/N: We'll go straight. We'll save the other one for last.

You all walked straight and into the next hall. Nadia shrunk down and landed on your shoulder.

Y/N: What are you doing?

Nadia: I'm used to flying with all this stuff on. Walking is too much and I don't want to leave you guys behind.

You saw no harm in it so you let it be. You eventually reached an open door and entered the room. You looked around and realized it was an office of some kind. No, a lab. It wasn't as big as the one on Roosevelt Island but it was decent enough. No one was here.

Gwendolyn: Time to snoop.

She began to look through the desks and search for whatever she could find. You looked around and noticed a dirty beaker. You lifted it up and noticed it had traces of the same green substance. It was still fresh. You set it back down and found another file. You opened it and saw it was a scientist's file. Dr. Conners.

Nadia: The Lizard worked for A.I.M? That's news to me.

Y/N: Isn't he still running loose?

Nadia: As far as we know. He hasn't been seen in a while.

You handed the file to Nadia who shrunk it down. You then placed it into your pocket. You turned back to Gwendolyn who was reading a file with her hand on her chin.

Gwendolyn: There's nothing here. Literally nothing.

You sighed and scanned the room once more. There was a door in the back of the lab. Maybe that could be something. You approached it and Nadia flew off your shoulder and grew back into her normal size. She began to hack into it.

Venom: There'ssss ssssomeone insssside.

Y/N: Then we'll have to take care of it.

You popped out your claws while Gwendolyn pulled out a pink gun. You raised a brow.

Gwendolyn: I have to keep up the image.

Whatever. Nadia finished with her hack and stepped back with her gauntlets ready. The door slowly slid open revealing a pitch black room. You slowly entered which trigger the lights to turn on. Before you was a sight that made your stomach drop. The lifeform inside was bound to some high tech machine in the center of the room. That lifeform?

Nadia: Dr. Conners?!

Gwendolyn: Yeah. Totally didn't see that coming a mile away.
