It was finally 10 and the foot traffic began to slow down. You and Laura had eaten most of the snacks while everyone mostly kept and eye on the shop or, in Laura and Viv's case, looked at their phones. Things were slow so you ended up sitting against the wall where you could still see the shop.

Y/N: This is taking forever.

Laura: Get used to it. Stakeouts are usually like this.

Y/N: I'm actually kinda bored.

Viv: We can engage in kissing again if you consent.

Y/N: I DON'T!

Laura looked between the two of you.

Laura: Again?

Your entire face heated up.

Viv: A week ago me and Y/N enga....

Y/N: Did nothing! We did nothing.

There was a loud shatter and the three of you looked across the street where four men were entering the empty store.

Y/N: Oh, look at that! Literally anything else.

You pulled up your scarf and waited until the four men were completely inside. You and Laura quickly moved across the street while Viv turned invisible and flew up. You and Laure peeked in through the window to get a better look at the robbers. One had a pair of gloves, one had a sword like weapon, one had a had a gun of sorts, and one had a assortment of tools.

Laura: Stark weapons.

You watched as they moved behind the counter and the one with tools began to mess around with whatever was below it.

Y/N: We should move in now.

Laura: Yeah we should.

You opened the door which caused the bell to ring. The four robbers turned to see you and Laura standing there.

Y/N: I know you're about to close but I was wondering if we could grab some snacks?

The man with the gun lifted up his weapon and aimed it right at the two of you. You were quick to fire off a blast of ice to try and cover the gun. Unfortunately the man was still able to fire the weapon which hit you right in the chest. Laura jumped out of the way and popped out her claws. She leaped towards the man with the gun but was stopped by the man with the sword.

You recovered and looked around. You noticed their weapons and smirked under your scarf. Looks like your theory was right. You got back on your feet and the man with the gloves turned to you. You quickly realized that the shop was too small for you to use your fire so you quickly popped out your claws. Fists began to charge towards you but you leaped over him and landed behind the him. You then used your strength to kick him towards the large window which was covered in bars. The kick was enough to knock the man through the window and the bars.

You turned back to the gun man just as he began to open fire. You moved up and used your claws to swipe the gun away. You then grabbed the man and threw him through the window as well. The man with the tools qorked even faster until he felt someone tap on his shoulder. He turns around and sees Viv floating there.

Viv: I am going to have to ask you to surrender.

Meanwhile in the street, you faced down Fist and the gun man who now had a smaller pistol. You popped out your claws again and ignited your flames. Fists charged at you yet again but this time you ducked to avoid the hit. You then swipped your claws against the man's arm. Fists let out a cry of pain before landing a hit right into your gut. The force of the tech glove sent you flying across the street.

Back in the shop, Laura continued her fight against the swordsman. She had kept trying to break the blade but found that she couldn't. Whatever the blade was made out of, it wasn't normal metal. Laura continued to hold off the swordsman while Viv managed to bound the lockpicker. She then flew up to help Laura.

You leaped off the wall of the building and attempted the Washington Heights move but you were quickly distracted by another shot. You landed onto the streets and used your strength to leap around to avoid any more shots. You ignited your feet and delivered a kick to the gun before rolling away. You then reached into your pocket and smiled. You didn't just buy snacks from the owner. You pulled out a small bar of metal and then leaped toward the gun man. He lifted up his pistol but you used your newest power to stick the metal bar through the gun before returning it to normal for a split second. The gun then blew up.

You leaped back before knocking the man out. You turned back to Fists who was looking more than pissed. You smirked as your hands were covered in ice. The man swung a fist towards you but you lifted your own causing the two to collide. The ice broke but you morphed your hand through his glove enough to insert the piece of metal. You hoped it was enough and let got leaving the metal in the glove. The glove began to spark and explode as well.

You leaped back and ignited your foot. You rolled to your head and began to spin. The Hell's Kitchen was enough to knock the man away. With him down, you moved to insert the last scrap of metal into the other glove. The man was now unarmed. You waited a moment before Viv came out and placed the special cuffs on the two men.

Y/N: So I'm guessing you guys took care of the others?

Viv: Indeed.

You smiled as police sirens were heard. Looks like your job was done here for now.

You pearched on the ledge across the street and looked down at the shop. The police had placed the men into patrol cars while the others investigated the area. Spidey was behind you along with Viv and Laura. He was praising them for a job well done before noticing you spacing out.

Spidey: You ok?

You snapped out of your thoughts and turned back to the others.

Y/N: Yeah. Sorry, I was just thinking about stuff.

Spidey: Well, you did great. I feel like a proud father. They grow up so fast.

Laura looked at you with a raised brow.

Laura: How did you disable their weapons?

Spidey: Actually now that you mention it, how did you know what you did?

You smiled as you stood back up. You placed your hands into your pockets as you recalled your conversation with the owner.

Owner: Yeah, it's true. I sell vibranium.

Vibranium? Without a proper permit, selling that stuff is highly illegal. So the robbers were robbing the shops for the metal. That would also mean that their weapons would most likely be made of the same thing.

Y/N: Vibranium. I've never actually seen it in person before.

Owner: You seem very interested in this kid. Just who are you?

You smirked a bit and looked around to make sure it was just the two of you.

Y/N: I'm actually a Hero. I'm investigating the recent break-ins.

The owner's eyes grew wide but you waved your hand.

Y/N: I'm not here to bust you. I'm actually here to stop these robbers. If you really do have vibranium then the other people probably did to. That makes these guys dangerous.

The owner understood. He bent down under the counter and messed with the safe there. He then stood back up and slid three scraps of metal.

Owner: Use these well.

You looked down at them in surprised.

Y/N: Are you sure?

The owner just nodded. He then pulled out his phone smiling.

Owner: Looks like I'm going to have to leave this place behind tonight. I appreciate what you're doing but I have a family legacy to keep.

You smiled.

Y/N: Alright then.

You grabbed the scraps of metal and tucked them into your pockets.

Owner: Well since I'm leaving anyway, why don't you grab some snacks? Consider a thank you for keeping the people here safe.

You explained everything, leaving out the part about the owner leaving, and watched as their eyes grew wide. Well, Viv just had the same face as always.

Spidey: That's, pretty impressive. So you used the metal scraps to disable the tech. Interesting.

Laura: And you didn't fill us in why?

You were now confused.

Y/N: I told Viv in the alley like 3 hours ago. She was supposed to tell you when your shift was over.

The three of you looked to Viv who just shrugged. They turned their attention back to you who just sighed.

Y/N: Whatever. There's a bigger problem here.

Spidey: You're right. Vibranium shouldn't be this accessible. I should probably let Tony know about this.

Y/N: Who?

Spidey: Tony Stark? Iron Man?

Y/N: Oh yeah.

Spidey allowed you guys to return to the tower and praised you all once more. He then swung away to go on his own patrol. Laura and Viv turned to leave as well but you didn't move.

Laura: What are you doing? Let's go.

You rubbed your chin and gave it some thought.

Y/N: I really hope this is over.

You ignited your feet and hands and followed Viv back towards the tower.
