You took a step backwards as Molly attacked again. She was strong but she wasn't fast. You moved your arm again to block another blow before moving it again. You had one arm behind your back the entire time and you were working with her on speed.

Y/N: Eyes on the target.

She attacked but you blocked it, again. Across the way, Victor and Cat were training with Cloak and Dagger aka Tyrone and Tandy. Cloak would catch whatever pallets Cat threw while Dagger tries to land a hot on Victor. While Cloak was great for defense, he was lacking in attack. Dagger was perfect for offense, but she couldn't land a hit to save her life.

Molly decided to switch things up and throw a kick. You caught her ankle and pushed her back casuing her to land on her butt. Victor caught another pallet but failed to notice it had already activated. With his vision blocked, Cat leaped up and kicked him. Victor dodged another dagger and slammed his shoulder right into Dagger.

The three laid in the snow defeated. Cat helped them up while Victor shook his head and you sighed.

Y/N: How do you guys expect to take down Hydra if you can't even fight?

Cloak: Sorry that we lack your experience. We've only been doing this for a few weeks now.

Molly: It doesn't help that big and hairy pushes us to our limit before the sun even rises.

Victor: Oh I'm sorry. Do you need a bandaid? Your enemies don't care how tired you are or rather or not you have experience.

You looked over the tired teens. It wasn't too long ago that you were in their shoes.

Y/N: You guys can only improve. Just, keep working at it.

They all nodded and headed towards the cabin with Cat following. You went to join them but Victor grabbed your shoulder.

Y/N: What's up?

Victor: These kids, are you sure about them?

Honestly you've seen better. You've also seen worse.

Y/N: Yeah. Molly is actually a pretty good fighter. Cloak and Dagger work well together to. They just aren't on our level yet.

Victor looked towards the house and nodded.

Victor: Perhaps we can give them some experience.

You raised a brow.

Victor: A contact of mine has located a Hydra base. Nothing too big but perfect for practice. Maybe you all can go check it out.

He walked away leaving you standing there in the field. You slowly started to smile.

Y/N: So, I need a new uniform.

Your old one just didn't fit anymore. Thanks to the muscle mass you have built during your time training with your father, the jacket was just too tight.

Cat: You're one to talk. I think my boobs got bigger.

You turned around and saw her struggling with zipping up her uniform. Yeah. You both needed new uniforms. You ended up tossing the jacket away and grabbed your jean jacket. Looks like it'll have to do for now. Cat finally got the zipper up and grabbed her mask.

Y/N: It's kinda weird seeing you in costume again. I almost forgot how good you looked in it.

Cat just winked at you and walked into the living room where you found Cloak and Dagger already prepared. Molly skipped out of her room as well. Looks like you and her were the only ones without uniforms.

Dagger: We got the location do Cloak will transport us there.

Cloak opened his, uh, cloak and the rest of you looked at Dagger.

Dagger: It's fine. We do it all the time.

You hesitated for a moment before stepping in. You stepped out into a totally different location. Everyone followed before Cloak appeared.

Y/N: That's handy.

Cloak: I know right?

You were now standing in front of a small hanger base. Looks like you were still somewhere in Canada. Maybe. Victor didn't really tell you anything. You lead everyone around the wall before you peeked in. Looks like a small number of guards and not any special weaponry. Perfect for everyone's first time. You ducked back behind the wall.

Y/N: The plan is simple. We go in, try to find anything we can on Molly's friends and the scientist that screwed you over. Smash anything or anyone in your way. If tbings get too heavy, we'll retreat.

They all nodded. You turned to Cat.

Y/N: Take Cloak and Dagger to the east side. I'll take Molly to the west.

Cat nodded and led the two teens around the wall. You looked back to Molly.

Y/N: You ready for this?

Molly nodded. At least she was brave. You snuck your way behind a truck before you peeked out again. It didn't look so bad. Or maybe you were just used to dealing with stronger foes. Either way, you figured it was time to let loose the super strong mutant child.

Y/N: Alright. On my mark, well rish inside and start making some noise. While we're screwing things up out here, Cat and the others will be looking around.

Molly: Right.

You peeked out again and watched as Cloak telephoned Cat and Dagger to the roof. Now is as good as ever. You popped out your claws and Molly's eyes began to glow.

Y/N: Time to smash!

You both rushed out and you immediately cut through the closet gun. You then punched the man, knocking him out. Molly picked up the truck and threw it at a group of men. You looked back at her.

Y/N: TRY NOT TO KILL THEM!

Molly: Sorry!

You ignited your arms and sliced through any gun pointed at you. Molly would then come in and attack the defenseless men.

Cat lead the two teens through the halls. They finally made it to a door where Cat broke the glass. She then reached through and unlocked the door. She then pushed it open. Cloak and Dagger just looked at her.

Cat: Not all of us have powers.

They entered the room, only to find it mostly empty. The desks were cleared out and the only things left were a few files. Cat and Dagger picked up whatever they could.

Dagger: None of these are on us. It looks like they really did cover up everything.

Cat: I'm sorry.

Cloak looked around before he spotted a file on the floor. He bent down and picked it up. It was on some kid. He recognized the name.

Cloak: Isn't this Chase person one of Molly's friends?

Cat walked over and looked at it.

Cat: It is. At least we found something.

Cloak opened up and the two girls stepped in. They teleported out into the front of the base where you and Molly were playing catch with one of the guard's helmets. You looked over and spotted them.

Y/N: How did everything go?

Cat handed you the file. You smiled and gave it to Molly.

Molly: Chase? Chase! They do have my friends!

It was a bittersweet moment. On one hand, her friends were still alive and you knee that Hydra had them. On the other hand, Hydra had them. You looked to Cat who nodded.

Y/N: Well, good work everyone. This was a good start. As long as we keep it up we'll find the batards and beat them.

Everyone smiled. Looks like you have a new team.

You were on the porch watching the night sky. Everyone else was asleep by now so you were enjoying the silence. The door suddenly opened and Victor walked out.

Victor: It's late.

You hummed. He ended uo sitting in the chair next to yours. Both of you sat in silence.

Victor: You know what you did today, it was a lot like what I used to do with your mom.

You looked over to him.

Victor: We were called the Strikers because we strike. We didn't wait for approval from any damn government or homeland security. Your mom used to call us true Heroes. Never felt like one.

He looked at you.

Victor: Use the name well. The Strikers are yours now.

He stood up leaving you stunned. You quickly got up.

Y/N: I can't do that. The Strikers are your team.

Victor: Not anymore. I'm sure Moon and Conners won't mind.

He tossed you something and waved before dissappearing back into the cabin. You looked down at your hand and saw it was your mother's ring. You clenched it and smiled. The Strikers. Looks like that was your new team name.

Y/N: For eveyone we lost.

You lowered your hand and looked up at the sky. A star fell.
