You were surprised when you woke up in on a couch to a dog licking your face. You opened your eyes to see Venom and Sparky fighting with each other next to the couch. The noise of Sparky growling and Venom hissing filled your ears. You heard someone rush in frantically.

???: If you two keep fighting you'll wake him up. He needs to rest. Stop it, now.

You recognized that accent. You looked over and found Wanda standing in the doorway with her hands on her hips. She was scolding the two. You noticed she was wearing a loose red shirt with a pair of jeans. You also realized that the sun was now up. Did you sleep through the night? How long where you asleep? What time was it?

Venom: He'ssss awake.

Wanda noticed you sitting up. She glared at Venom and Sparky. Venom ended up retracting to your shoulder.

Wanda: How are you feeling?

You reached up to your head. That's right, you got a headache and passed out. Who was that girl you saw?

Y/N: I feel fine. Sorry if I made you worry.

You looked around. You were in their living room. You noticed your stuff on the coffee table. It wasn't much. Just your wallet and your phone. Why was it blinking? You reached of it and saw that you had two missed calls and three text messages. You only had one contact so it could only be one person. You looked at the time.

Y/N: It's 1 in the afternoon?! How long was I out for?!

Venom: A while.

Wanda: You collapsed around 7 last night. I was worried but Bunny assured me that you were fine physically.

Bunny? Oh yeah. She called Viv Bunny back at the tower. You wondered what that was about. Maybe it was just a family thing. That wasn't important. What was was what happened last night. You passed out after seeing a girl in your mind. Not even the girl you were, ah, dating.

You unlocked your phone and checked the messages. Felicia. Or, two of them were Felicia and the other one seemed to be Cat.

Good morning. How was dinner.

Are you still asleep? How tired were you.

You're making the poor girl worry. Answer your phone.

You made a mental note to call her later. You placed the phone into your pocket along with your wallet.

Wanda: Nonsense. Although Bunny was quite worried.

Venom: Why do you keep referring to the robot asss Bunny?

Wanda: That robot is my daughter. And it's a nickname in the family. When she was first created her nose used to twitch like a bunny.

Aww. That's cute. Wait, created? That would mean that someone created her to be like a teenager. But she can sweat and cry. Wanda even said she can have kids. Can she grow into an adult? Does she age? Can she die of old age? Oh God. So many questions.

Y/N: Where is she anyway?

Wanda: She's with her dad visiting the city. They should be back later.

So it was just the three of you. Once Wanda left the room to check on something, you brought out your phone and dialed Felicia's number.

Venom: Booty call?

Y/N: Shut up.

Someone picked up and you heard something ruffle in the background.

Felicia: H-hello?

You smiled at her voice.

Y/N: Hey.

Felicia: Y/N?

Y/N: Yeah. Sorry about not answering. I ended up sleeping over at my friend's place. We stayed up kinda late so I was out cold.

There was silence on the other line.

Cat: Should I be jealous?

There was silence.

Venom: Nice one.

You heard something like paper being moved. You wondered if it was something about her job.

Felicia: I mean w-we are g-going out on a d-d-date Friday. Sooo technically we are d-dating.

So it was true. You had a girlfriend. Or, two? No. Felicia was Felicia rather you were talking to Cat or her. Ok so this sounds confusing but you know what you're talking about.

Felicia: Will you be back in the city today?

Y/N: Yeah. It won't be until later though. Didn't you say you had work today?

Felicia: Oh yeah! Uh, actually can I call you later? I was getting everything ready for that.

You hung up and sighed. Life was simple when you were homeless. Easier to deal with to.

You ended up returning to the tower sometime after. Wanda gave you Viv's number and told you that she would give your number to her so she could check in on you. You found yourself on the couch still tired. Your mind was racing. Who was it you saw? Why did you see her? Everything was confusing. Did it have something to do with your powers? There was so many questions.

Venom: You sssshould ssssleep. I don't want you passsing out from exhaussstion.

Maybe you should. It was getting late anyway. You stood up and started to head to your room before the alarm went off. You looked around confused.

Venom: What'sss going on?

Y/N: Crime alert? Shouldn't the Avengers be dealing with it? They are back still right?

Venom: Lasssst I checked.

You moved to the TV and activated the alarm system. A break in? It was a few blocks away but it didn't explain why the Avengers weren't on it. Not even Spidey.

Venom: Are we going or what?

You looked at the symbiote.

Y/N: You want to go?

Venom: You want to be a Hero right?might assss well sssstart now.

You smirked. You turned towards to change into your uniform.

You finally reached the museum and landed on the roof. You looked around before finding a hole in the glass. Talk about old fashion. You peeked in and found a figure walking around. So they're the one who tripped the system. Why didn't it alert the Heroes?

You jumped in and landed behind the figure who was already holding a bag filled with stuff. Really old fashioned.

Y/N: Hey you!

The figure stopped and turned around. Oh great. It was her.

Black Cat: Oh. If it isn't my Frankenstein. What brings you here~

You didn't know how to react. This was just uncomfortable at this point. You noticed marks on her chest, bruises of some kind. Was she attacked? That wasn't the issue right now.

Y/N: Didn't your parents tell you that stealing is wrong?

Black Cat: My daddy was the one who taught me how to~

Venom: Sssshe ssseeemsss familiar.

You ignited your arm while the other was covered in ice.

Y/N: Stand down and turn over whatever you stole. After that we can hand you over to the cops.

Black Cat smirked under her mask and popped out her claws as she dropped the bags.

Black Cat: As much as I love handcuffs, I have plans tomorrow I can't miss.

She rushed towards you but you were quickly to dodge her swings. You delivered a kick to her but she simply leaped over. She flipped back and grabbed a vase on her way down. She the threw the vase at you. You returned your arm to normal and caught it.

Venom: That wasss clossse. Remember to keep the flamesss away from me.

Y/N: Right.

You were only able to light your right arm on fire since it could harm Venom. That being said, you couldn't use your flames at all when he took over. You popped your claws out on your left hand and kept your right arm covered in ice. Black Cat was perched on a nearby rail.

Black Cat: You're quick.

Y/N: And you're a thief. Just give up before I hurt you.

Black Cat: Maybe I like getting hurt~

She leaped towards you but you blocked her attack with ice. Her claws managed to stab through and reach you skin however. You quickly rolled away and looked down at the ice which now had a red spot.

Y/N: Shit.

You melted the ice and watched your wound heal. Black Cat attempted to throw a flag pole towards you but you phased through a display to dodge it.

Venom: I have an idea. Cover your arm in ice again.

You did and you watched as it came out black.

Venom: I fusssed myssself with the ice. It ssshould be sstronger now.

You smirked. When Black Cat tried to attack again, her claws bounced right off. She looked surprised while you just lunged for an attack. She was a normal human, you had read her report, so you didn't want to hurt her too bad. You also couldn't morph through her or her attacks since you might end up cutting her arm off or something. This had to be gentle enough to not kill her but rough enough to sedate her.

She continued to attack but you kept blocking or dodging. You were glad that you had finally gotten used to your senses power. You had to thank Miles and Gwen when you see them. You were also glad that Venom made the ice hard enough so Balck Cat couldn't break through. Sure you can heal but it still hurt like hell.

Y/N: How are you not tired yet?

Black Cat: I tend to work on my stamina~

Why was she so damn sexual?!

Venom: I kinda like it.

Black Cat moved to kick you but you had caught her foot. You then threw her against the wall. You were hoping that it was enough. Nope. She stood up and glared at you. Suddenly the room was filled in red and blue lights signaling the police had arrived. Black Cat looked around before sighing.

Black Cat: You're lucky I'm looking forward to my plans tomorrow.

She shot out a grappling hook from her wrist and swung out of the building. You stood there as the front doors were kicked in and the police rushed in. At least she left the bag.
