Viv and Riri looked at the machine to no avail. Kitty stuck her hand in but had to pull it away when the Anti-Cells forced her hand to return to normal.

Kitty: Our powers won't work.

Riri: Good thing we have rockets.

Everyone moved out of the way as Riri fired off whatever rockets she had left. Not even a dent.

Viv: It's made from the same metal as the one in Y/N.

Kitty: So we can't use our powers and nothing even dents it. How are we supposed to stop this thing?

They looked at Viv.

Viv: I do not know.

You delivered a right hook to Carnage before flipping and delivering a spining kick. Carnage caught your leg and threw you past Taskmaster and Moon Knight. Their fight was too evenly matched. Taskmaster learned his moves but Moon Knight kept coming up with more.

Y/N: You're looking tired.

Carnage: SILENCE!

He grabbed you and held you down. He slammed his head against yours but you only smirked.

Y/N: Thank you for the protection.

Venom: I already told you, you're my ressssponsssibility.

You pushed back against Carnage and grabbed his wrist. You flung him across the room and right at the machine. You and Venom noticed how Carnage was pulled towards it making it unstable.

Y/N: That's it.

Venom: We jussst have to pusssh him into the light!

You cracked your knuckles. Time to get to work. The team had to watch helplessly as you and Moon Knight fought. Moon Knight started to jab his staff towards Taskemaster as he moved side by side. Moon Knight siked him out and jabbed in the same place twice successfully hitting Taskmaster. While he was down, Moon Knight twisted the handle and popped the blade out.

Moon Knight: This is for killing my family.

He stabbed the blade into Taskmaster's chest. He twisted it and watched as the orange light faded from his eyes.

Moon Knight: Rest now, Elise.

You were still trading blows with Carnage but you were gaining the upper hand. You grabbed him and started to push him towards the machine.

Y/N: You made a big mistake by attacking those I love.

Carnage started to smile as he grabbed onto your shoulders. He pulled you closer.

Carnage: Then let's go together.

He held onto you and pulled you with him.

Everyone: Y/N!

Time slowed down. Suddenly, everything flashed before your eyes. You journey through childhood, your discovery of your powers, you meeting everyone, your journey through the Program. Everything. You couldn't help but smile. You made a hell of a lot of good memories. You closed your eyes.

Venom: I'm sssorry kid.

Y/N: It's fine. I lived a good life.

Venom: It'sss not over yet.

You opend your eyes as you felt Venom pull away from you. You were slowly thrown back as Venom pushed Carnage into the machine. You reached out to grab him but you couldn't. As he left your hand, he left behind your mother's ring on your finger. You slammed to the ground as Venom and Carnage entered the beam.

Venom: I told you that I would protect you until I die.

Venom: Really?

You petted him.

Y/N: Really.

Venom: Well, even though you are a nerd, I like to consssider you family asss well.

Cat smiled and reached up to kiss Venom's cheek which caused him to freeze.

Cat: And thank you for keeping him safe.

Venom snapped out of his trance.

Venom: N-No problem.

Venom: Dressssed like monsssstersss. That sssaysss a lot about you all.

Viv: Speak for yourself parasite.

You sat on the roof of the tower as the sun began to set.

Venom: I will never understand you humansss. Why do you wassste ssso much time watching the sssky?

You laughed a bit.

Y/N: It's just nice to watch something so beautiful with someone.

Venom didn't say anything.

Venom: You nerd.

Venom looked at you one last time as you reached out for him.

Venom: Thank you, for giving me a family.

Venom and Carnage entered the beam causing everything to go haywire. You watched as the machine shut down before blowing up. Moon Knight grabbed you and leaped out of the way to avoid the blast. Some of it hit you making your cells mess up. You landed a few feet away before you felt the pain in your chest from the surgery. You looked up and saw what remained of the machine. Your hair was now white and your scar was no longer healing.

Y/N: Venom?

You pushed yourself up and limped over.

Y/N: Venom?!

You dropped to your knees and began to look through what was left. There was nothing there. Nothing at all. He wasn't there. He was, gone. You slowly hunched over.

Y/N: No. Nononono! VENOM!

You broke down then and there as blood poured from your chest. Moon Knight looked at the remains of the machine before looking up.

Moon Knight: Guide his soul to the afterlife.

Everyone else slowly approached and saw pieced together what had happened. You sobbed and cried.

One week later,
You were in your temporary room alone. Your hair was still white and now much longer. The lights were off as you sat against the wall. Today was the day you were all suppose to have Venom's "funeral". You didn't know if you wanted to go. You never knew what to say when people died. The closet thing you had to a funeral was a fire under a bridge for the Old Man.

You heard a knock on your door before Viv opened the door.

Viv: It is about to start.

You sat on the chair closet to the podium as everyone from the program, Avengers, Defenders, and Big Hero 6 all attended. Even though you were surrounded by your friends, you felt so empty. You never realized how much you relied on Venom for conversations or commentary. The only pictures you had were of his time in the lab or the various times he appeared on your shoulder. Moon Knight had actually supplied a photo of him during his time in the Stikers.

Cap: Thank you all for coming. We're all here today to honor a fallen Hero. Though some saw him as a problem or an enemy, many saw him as a friend and ally.

He looked you way.

Cap: Or even a protector.

You lowered you head. Cap finished his speech and asked you to take the stage. You finally made it to the podium and looked out at the crowd of people. You didn't have anything planned, so you just spoke.

Y/N: Venom was a lot of things. He was perverted, annoying, brash, most likely a weeb, and childish. He was also strong, funny, protective, and most of all, he was my family. He made a promise to my mother when I was born that he would protect me. He did that until his death. I was to weak to save him but he spent his last moments saving me.

You caught a sob in your throat.

Y/N: He was like my brother. We spent every moment together and he helped guide me through life and every interaction when I didn't know what to do. He was the one who never let me give up and pushed me forward. The world lost Venom during the raid on Taskmaster's base. He was was a lot of things.

You reached up and grabbed your ring.

Y/N: But he was my Hero.

You ended up heading to you room after the service was done. Everyone was still out socializing but you felt like you should be alone. At least, you would like to be.

Moon Knight: That makes it down to three.

You looked over to him. He was leaning against the window. He then pointed his thumb outside.

Moon Knight: You know what day it is?

You looked out the window. It was snowing.

Moon Knight: Happy 17th fucking birthday.

You sighed. Of course it was today. Moon Knight tossed you a set of keys.

Moon Knight: YOU LOOK LIKE YOU'RE SULKING. Maybe it's time for you to meet your father.

You looked up.

Y/N: My dad?

Moon Knight: Yeppers! I know where he lives.

You stood up and he handed you a slip of paper.

Moon Knight: Your phone won't work. Ye would have to go by map!

You looked down at the paper.

Y/N: Canada?

Moon Knight: YOU'RE CANADIAN BITCH!

You looked down at the keys.

Moon Knight: Uncle Moony got you a birthday present.

You found yourself with a packed bag standing in front of a brand new bike. Moon Knight stood there proudly.

Moon Knight: Once you head out there you'll be on your own. All on your own.

You nodded. You knew what you were getting into. You had no powers, no healing factor, no Venom. You were back to being a normal human being.

???: Not all on his own.

You and Moon Knight turned around and found Felicia standing there with her own bag. Her hair was now dyed grey.

Felicia: We match now.

She walked over to where you and Moon Knight were.

Felicia: I'm not letting you do this on your own.

She approached you and turned to Moon Knight.

Felicia: I'll keep an eye on him.

Moon Knight: Much appreciated! You didn't snitch did you?

Felicia shook her head. Moon Knight rubbed her chin.

Moon Knight: Good kitty.

Felicia turned back to you and smiled.

Felicia: I left my phone to. It's just me and you on the open road.

Cat: Just the two of us alone~

You smiled before hugging her. Moon Knight watched as the two of you climbed on the bike. You both placed your helmets on before you looked back to Moon Knight.

Y/N: Thank you.

Moon Knight: Stay strong kid. Tell that maple leaf fuck I said hi.

You nodded and started your bike. No one knew where you were going or what you were doing. Moon Knight told you to both to leave your phones so no one could track you. Apparently your dad had a lot of enemies.

As you rode off with Felicia holding your bag, you felt like you were just now heading towards your destiny.
