It was about three days after Katie joined the team, you learned everyone knew about you and Viv, and Felicia told you that you needed to talk to Viv. You were sitting in class, staring out the window thinking. The teacher placed your graded test on your desk. A red 100% was written on the top left. It was easy enough. You returned your attention to the window.

Venom: Are you going to keep mopping around or are you going to ssssay ssssomething to the otherssss?

Venom had been on you about patching things up. You were still wary about everything. You were lucky enough to use the excuse of running tests with Tony and Banner to avoid training and running into anyone. When you were home, you were in the closet resting. Venom had gotten tired of not seeing anyone else.

It was the last period of class so you were supposed to head to the tower to get ready for training. That also meant you had to see the others. You decided that today was the day you would finally confront them.

Gwendolyn: Hey friend!

You jumped at her voice and found her suddenly sitting next to you. She didn't even have this class with you.

Y/N: H-hey Gwendolyn. What are you doing here?

Gwendolyn: I had nothing else to do. So our team up isn't happening yet and I understand that but why are you doing something else?

Y/N: Something else?

Gwendolyn: Yeah! You already met me so you should prioritize our team up or story arc! Instead your doing something else that won't lead to anything of significance. We could be taking down some A.I.M base or something and learn more about you!

You sighed. Looks like you really weren't going to loose her that easily.

You ended up walking home on your own. You needed the breather anyway. As you walked, you wondered what you were going to say. What could you say? They seriously breached both your and Viv's personal problems. Well, not really Miles. Danny was mostly off the hook as well. Sam was definitely going to get his ass kicked.

You stopped in your tracks. You just had an idea.

Widow: You want to have the entire team go against you?

You nodded.

Widow: I mean, I guess we could do that. It would help you learn how to take down multiple powered enemies and teach them how to take down one unpredictable one.

Perfect. As you walked to the training room, Venom appeared on your shoulder.

Venom: You sssserioussssly sssscare me kid.

Y/N: They need to be taught a lesson.

Venom agreed and dissapeared back into your shirt. You reached the training room and moved to a corner away from the others.

Y/N: I'm guessing you know the plan?

Venom: Of courssse.

Widow entered the room and everyone gathered around.

Widow: We're doing something different today. Everyone is going to be up against Y/N. The objective is simple, beat Y/N. He wins if he beats you.

She backed off the mat as everyone looked at you.

Widow: Begin!

You smirked as your flames burned bright and black ice covered your body. Even electricity began to spark.

Y/N: Now then, let's learn why you stay out of other people's business.

You heard everyone gulp.

Widow: The victory goes to Y/N.

You stood there victorious as everyone else was mostly thrown around the room. Viv, Miles, and Danny were beaten the least while Sam got it the worse. You cracked your knuckles and walked over to Viv. You held your hand out to her and smiled.

Y/N: I think it's about time we talked.

You ended up on the roof where you and Viv sat on the bench behind near the door. It was a nice and sunny day in New York. Perfect place for a chat.

Y/N: Sorry if I hurt you too bad during training.

Viv: I am ok. Although, I do not believe it was possible for a human to bleed as much as Sam did.

You waved it off.

Y/N: He'll be fine.

The two of you sat in silence.

Viv: Regarding what I said the other day.....

Y/N: Don't apologize. I should be the sorry one for leaving like I did. You were opening up to me and I just panicked.

You sighed.

Y/N: I understand your feelings. I just can't return them. I'm with Felicia and I'm happy. I'm sorry.

Viv shook her head.

Viv: I am sorry for putting you through such turmoil. I am glad that we are able to talk about this.

You smiled. You were actually relived.

Y/N: Me to. Maybe we can hang out sometime soon. As friends.

Viv nodded.

Viv: I would lik.....

She suddenly froze. You looked at her confused before your senses went off. What was going on? Viv suddenly snapped back into reality.

Viv: Someone is in trouble.

Y/N: My senses are going crazy.

You both stood up and looked around. There was no danger. Or so, you thought.

Venom: Carnage.

Y/N: He's here?!

Venom: Not here. Ssssomewhere near. Down the block. South.

That's where the Cafe was. It suddenly hit you.

Felicia.

You quickly ignited your feet and flew off towards her penthouse at a fast speed. You suddenly spotted him. A red mass of evil. Carnage. You landed on the roof, his back was to you.

Carnage: Isn't this view so great?

Y/N: What are you doing here?!

Carnage began to laugh. He then turned around, holding Felicia.

Y/N: Felicia!

Felica: Y/N?! You need to leav....

Carnage covered her mouth. He was smirking evilly. You popped out your claws.

Carnage: Such a pretty girl. It would be a shame if her life ended early.

He held her up over the edge of the roof causing you to step forward. Venom began to growl as he slowly covered your body. Felicia's eyes grew wide at the sight.

Carnage: You want me gone so I'll give you a chance to stop me here and now. Beat me. Kill me. Either that, or save her.

He began to lower Felicia.

Y/N: LET HER GO!

Carnage: Your choice, Hero.

He suddenly let go of Felicia. You didn't think. You just ignited your feet and blasted right passed Carnage and down. You grabbed Felicia before you hit the ground. You blasted upwards and landed on a nearby roof.

Venom: He's gone.

Carnage was indeed gone from the roof.  The bastard got away. You set Felicia down and pulled away the remaining red ooze.

Y/N: Are you ok?

Felicia: WHAT THE HELL WAS THAT?!

You held her closely as she began to panic. It then hit you. She saw your powers. She saw Venom.

Felicia: How did you do that?! What was that thing?! I-it just showed up a-and took me to the roof.

She was crying now. Her eyes shifted to Cat's and she began to glare at you.

Cat: He used us to get to you!

She pushed you off of her and stood up. She walked away a bit and tried to calm down.

Cat: Felicia is really freaking out. You better have answers to whatever the hell just happened.

You sat there for a moment before Venom appeared on your shoulder. Looks like you have no choice.

You had just told Felica everything. From you growing up on the streets to joining the program. You told her all of your powers and what you knew about Carnage. Venom even filled in some gaps.

Cat: This is so, strange. It's like everything is spinning.

You stayed quiet. She had to process all of this. It was quite a bit to.

Cat: This whole time, I never knew. You never told us.

She looked over at you before turning back to her feet.

Cat: And you saved us.

You looked up and saw that she looked conflicted.

Y/N: I'm sorry. I was going to tell you both eventually. I just needed the right time and....

Cat shook her head.

Cat: Don't. I, I think we need time to think things through.

You didn't exactly feel comfortable with letting her walk around with Carnage loose. You heard someone walk up behind you. It was Viv.

Viv: I will escort her home. I have already informed the Avengers and Natasha about the situation. They will watch over her.

Well at least there was that.

Y/N: Thank you.

You ended up walking towards the edge. You looked back one last time at Felicia. You closed your eyes as everything suddenly hit you. You opened them, and ignited your feet.
