The next day I was walking into the school seeing all the other monsters around. I kept walking towards the lab and when I entered the room I was shocked to see that Mizutsune was with both Miss Lunstra and Kulve Taroth sitting in chairs. The second Mizutsune saw me she quickly ran up to me and hugged me in tears. I was really confused at why she did. I thought she was still angry with me.

"I'm so sorry...so so sorry Astalos," she said in tears with her arms hugging my neck.

I stayed quiet for a little not really sure what was going on. Kulve Taroth walked up to both of us with a smile. I looked back at Mizutsune.

"What are you sorry about, Mizutsune?" I asked her still not sure why she was apologizing.

"I'm sorry for not letting you explain why you did not make it to my performance, Kulve Taroth told me why you did not make it. Yesterday I went on and on about you I thought you were the bad guy when I did not realize that I was being worse," She said with her arms on my shoulders as she stared up into my eyes with tears.

I just hugged her again without saying another word. The two of us just hugged and stayed quiet. Suddenly the bell rang and Kulve Taroth placed a hand on Mizutsunes shoulder.

"Let us go, school has started," Mrs. Taroth said pulling Mizutsune aside.

I let go of her but just before she could let go of me she did something I'd never thought she do. She gently kissed me on the cheek leaving me shocked. She then walked away with Mrs, Taroth leaving me there. Just after that Happened, Zinogre walked in, holding the straps to his backpack, seeing me with wide eyes.

"What happened to you?" He asked.

"I...I uh...its nothing, nothing at all! Let's just work on the device!" I said with a nervose laugh.

"Uh alright then," Zinogre said setting his backpack down on a chair.

In Mrs. Lunstras class each of us had our own project to work on and today was the day we were all supposed to finish today and lucky for me and Zinogre he got the last part we needed to finish. As we worked on it and adjusted a few things Mrs. Lunstra walked up to our table.

"Almost finished you two?" She asked us.

We both nodded as we stayed focused on finishing it. About half n'hour later we finished it completely. Our E.P.E was finished. The Elemental-Power-Enhancer. Both Zinogre and I put down our tools and stared at it.

"You do the honors, Zinogre," I said to him picking the device up.

The device was like a sort of armor that connects with your arm. Zinogre put the device on his arm and it locked connected to him locking in place. He moved his arm to make she it was still and would not fall off. Mrs. Lunstra looked at the device very curious to see how it worked. Zinogre pushed a few buttons on the device to turn it on, as he did the device started to glow with Zinogres electric power. Zinogre also seemed to glow brighter than normal lighting up more of the classroom. I was excited as was Zinogre and the rest of our classmates and even Mrs. Lunstra. Zinogre decided to test him electric claws, he powered them up and when he did the lights in the room started to flicker. I saw all the Energy that we were drawing from the lights because I am able to see Electic energy in the air. As I was watching the energy I did not notice that something was wrong with the device when suddenly the Lab doors swung open and someone yelled at Zinogre.

"Zinogre! Take that E.P.E off now!" The female voice yelled

Zinogre turned to face who was yelling as did the rest of the class and Mrs. Lunstra. The woman who yelled was Zinogres older sister Stygian.

"Stygian? what are you doing here?" Zinogre asked confused.

"Take the device off now!" She yelled ignoring the question.

Zinogre looked down at the device and noticed that it was malfunctioning. In a panic, he then started to try and remove the device but it would not come off. It was stuck. The lights in the room continued to flicker as Mrs. Lunstra got the rest of the class to quickly leave the room. Stygian ran to her bother and tried to help take it off. I also tried to help take it off but it would not budge, It was stuck. We continued to try and help remove it as the device kept drawing in the energy in the area. Zinogre noticed that it was about to explode and quickly pushed both Stygian and myself away. Just as he did so the device exploded with a bright light on his arm creating an E.M.P that shut down all electronic devices in the school. Stygian and I were blown back landing on our backs by the explosion that even destroyed some of the Lab. The lab would be covered in debris and the room had giant dust clouds. Stygian stood up and quickly started to search for her brother. I sat up on the ground looking around only seeing Stygian dark red glow through the dust clouds. Stygian started to move pieces of debris shouting Zinogres name.

"Zinogre! Zinogre where are you?" she yelled as she kept digging through the debris.

After a while of digging she was able to see Zinogres faint light blue glow. I noticed it, got up and walked over to the glow. Other monsters including my other friends saw all the destruction and where shocked. Stygian found Zinogre, he was sitting with his eyes close, dust all over his face.

"Zinogre, wake up Zinogre," Stygian said trying to shake him awake.

I stared at my friend with shock after what I have just done. Stygian slowly opened his eyes looking at his sister. He was still alive which was amazing. Stygian was able to get him out of the rubble and got him to stand.

"Are you alright brother?" She asked him worried.

"I...I think I'm fine...I can't feel my right arm though..." Zinogre said trying really hard to speak.

 After he said that he could not feel his arm I looked at it and noticed that...It was gone. It was completely blown off with some of his blood dripping from where his arm was. Stygian also noticed and kept Zinogre from looking down.

"I have to get you to the hospital, Zinogre," Stygian said with tears in her eyes after seeing his arm was gone.

The two walked out of the room and I just stood there. Our school Nurse Ukanlos helped them walk to the front of the school, she already called the emergency and they were waiting outside of the school to pick him up. I could not believe what I have just done. My best friend was now extremely hurt because of me. I fell to my knees still in shock of what just happened.
