Naveah found the artifact store and began hunting around shelves. She looked in boxes, in little bags, everywhere. She wanted to give up, it didn't appear to be here anymore.

"Can I help you find something?" A gentle angelic voice said from behind her. Naveah turned to look to see a cute boy, probably around Leilanis age.

"Um I'm looking for this," Naveah showed him a photo of the orb in the book and he nodded.

"Follow me," he led her to the far corner of the store and resched up on the top shelf. He pulled a box down and handed it to her, "is this it?"

She opened it and looked inside, there was the orb shiny and bright, an off white color like an eggshell. "Yes this is it, thank you." Naveah said, and he smiled.

"Anytime, I'm Cosmo, and you aren't from around here are you?" He asked, and Naveah looked sheepish.

"I'm not, how did you know?" She asked, and he chuckled.

"The pink clothes are a dead giveaway for one. Secondly, you wouldn't have come in here if you were from here." He said, and Naveah rose an eyebrow.

"And why is that?" She asked, and Cosmo sighed.

"I'm born from someone from both realms so I'm a-" he started to explain but Naveah cut him off.

"Deltude, I've never met one but I always was fascinated by it. Do you really think two people can have love if they come from different realms?" She asked, and Cosmo smiled.

"Yes, my parents have been happily together since they were kids. It doesn't matter where you come from, if you love each other fuck what anyone else thinks." Cosmo said, still smiling.

"Thank you, how much do I owe you for this?" She asked, and Cosmo shrugged.

"Just take it, it's okay it's sat back there for years I'm happy to get rid of anything at this point." Cosmo said, and Naveah smiled.

"Thank you, I'm Naveah it's nice to meet you." She extended her hand to shake his, but a hand grabbed her wrist and she was spun around to face Valentina.

"There you are! Why the hell are you in here? On top of that talking to a half breed! Come on!" Valentina said, and yanked her out the door.

Naveah yanked her hand away, "excuse me, who do you think you are? Don't call people names like that! How would you like it?" Naveah said, and Valentina rolled her eyes.

"What exactly would I even get called?" Valentina challenger her, and Naveah crossed her arms.

"A bitch, cause that's what you're acting like!" She replied, and Valentina smiled.

"You say that like it's a bad thing. Now come on I have things to teach you, you're meeting my parents tomorrow." Valentina said pulling her along.

"You are insufferable, and why do I have to meet your parents? Do they know you kidnapped me and plan on murdering me?" Naveah asked, and Valentina glared.

"Calm down, stop making it a huge deal when it's not. Ok I don't want to kill you, but I don't want you to run off before you know getting to know me more." Valentina said, and Naveah glared.

"First off, I came here willingly because I liked you and I had no intention of running off. Now, I certainly don't like what I'm seeing and doesn't seem like you care about anyone but yourself." Naveah challenged, and Valentina took a deep breath and put on her lying face.

"Ok fine your right I'm sorry! Leilani just gets in my head. She thinks this is necessary, it's not me Naveah it's her. This isn't the way I wanted to do this. Yeah I know what your gonna say, well maybe I shouldn't be Queen if I take orders from other people. I didn't ask to be Queen I was told that's what's happening, my parents are always gone and they are never here to help me learn anything, all I have is Leilani." Valentina said, finally loosing it.

Naveah placed a hand on her shoulder, "we will work it out, but you got to stop being jerkish alright? I get it, it's not your fault and your going through a lot. I don't know anything about leading, I don't even know why you like me. I'm literally nobody, why didn't you go after the princess of delirium?" Naveah said, and Valentina rolled her eyes.

"There's only room for one princess in this realm, and I'm bad enough for both of us." Valentina said with a smirk, and Naveah snickered.

"I think that's the most honest thing you've ever said." Naveah replied, and Valentina rolled her eyes.

"Listen Naveah, I picked you because I immediately felt like us meeting wasn't accidental at all. Like something just tells me we are meant to be together, I don't know how to explain it. Maybe it's just me..." Valentina said trailing off, however, Naveah knew exactly what she meant all too well.

Naveah took her hand, "I know what you mean, and maybe your right so let's do this the right way." She said, and Valentina nodded and the two headed back to the castle.

Valentina had spent the next three hours teaching Naveah how to be a royal. Thankfully, Naveah had been a quick learner and it wasn't much of a challenge.

"Ok remember, what are we not bringing up?" Valentina asked, and Naveah rolled her eyes.

"That you kidnapped me, and plan on killing me." Naveah said, and Valentina sighed.

"Yes, also..." Valentina paused and looked around to make sure no one was around to listen, "I'm not going to kill you, I couldn't do that." She said, and Naveah also looked around.

"Doesn't that kind of defeat the purpose of your threat to get me to marry you?" She asked, and Valentina sighed.

"If you don't want to marry me I'll let you go, but everyone will think you are dead. So, I'll have to send you to another realm or something." Valentina replied, and Naveah nodded.

"So this is 100% my choice then?" She asked, and Valentina nodded.

"Yes, I just hope I can make up for my toxicness and you will pick me." Valentina said hopeful, and Naveah nodded.

"We will see. Tomorrows always a new day."
